Didnt think he'd get back in there almost immediately My FA pickups and drops have been horrendous this season I think Edgar will beat Swanson... Honestly, you got an overall good camp ..with Jacare, Mirsad, did great with Volkov, Gillespie is a huge prospect and Zabit climbed the ranks ... NorthernNinjas
YES! LAST SECOND SUB LET'S GO Simon!!! The bell rung already. Kind of a bullshit call imo
LeonStolz
It looked like Merab went out at the last second. When Simon let the choke go it took Merab a good 2 seconds to respond and then he nearly went out again lol I think it's legit but I guess we'll see if the commission overturns it. JLP
I'm pretty sure it gets overturned. You can't stop the fight after the fight is over. Simon didn't win any fans acting like a douche after getting his ass kicked for 14 minutes.
LeonStolz
I'm pretty sure if you go unconscious you lose the fight no matter what. I believe the rules state you can't be saved by the bell if you go out in a sub, but I'm not positive on that. But yeah, Simon did act like a douche at the end but it was a pretty fun fight. NorthernNinjas
it was definitely deep, and I actually thought he went out way earlier and then recovered. Just didnt understand the ref's call after the bell. I felt he did enough to keep his legs moving and show he wasnt out until the bell rang. Ton of heart because Simon had him

I mean he was tired and basically out. He answered when Simon pointed at him though. Looked like he was just taking a minute to recover, but I could be wrong
LeonStolz
Who knows. When the fight ended a commissioner and the doctor came in immediately and checked on Merab and I guess they came to the conclusion he went out and that's why it was ruled how it was. Weird ass ending.
The1rstSaint
Wish I woulda hung on to Edgar. Didnt think he'd get back in there almost immediately My FA pickups and drops have been horrendous this season I feel ya on this one, Jim Miller was my latest Pickup wtf was i thinking. I literally was going off the fact he was facing a Aussie, had no idea the that Aussie was legit. I should stick with pickups who are matched with Japanese fighters for now on.
Guest
nevermind. missed a pickup because of the clutter and lack of updating the op/rosters. I gotta say the standings page has been very slow to update. It just takes a little while after each event to do it - leaving it for 2-3 events to update leaves a lot more room for error and takes a lot more effort. The1rstSaint
You are gonna make Rei cry, talking about the Japanese like that I'm sorry rei, it's a shame because Japan is the ones who originated MMA I my opinion they just have not evolved over there like the rest of the world. They will be the best again though maybe around the year of 2068 only 50 years away.

JLP
Only time he looked out to me was when he completed the takedown with 1 minute left. Which is how Simon got the submission implemented. When Simon lets him go after the bell, he slumps back and then rolls over. I have a hard time with a ref stealing a dominant performance from a fighter because he relaxes his body after a fight. I dont have any interest in either fighter, just calling it how I see it.
