Intelligence tests - bug?

So I won an intelligence test.

19. Bob Slay won a fighter IQ test. iq.jpg
20. Bob Slay won 36 lottery tickets. lottery.jpg
21. Bob Slay won a fighter IQ test. iq.jpg

I used it on my fighter Benny Darius, from the spin & win screen and was mailed the response that he had taken the test & scored an IQ of 88 - I noted this down on a spreadsheet I keep of my fighters and deleted the mail.

Then I won another, only this time I refreshed my screen as it had a graphic bug on it, I had not requested the test for a fighter so possibly it used the "old data" of my fighter Benny Darius....again.

Only this time he had a higher IQ reported.

Subject : Fighter IQ test - Benny Darius

Benny Darius took an IQ test today and scored 94.

This seems like odd behaviour to me, a bug maybe?

If he has a Hidden intelligence value I would not expect it to rise when taking two intelligence tests only minutes apart, albeit accidentally.

I suppose I should be asking for a refund of the second IQ test but I am more interested in why these two tests returned two different values only minutes apart.

Yes, IQ tests are not precise. Even the random ones they do themselves or the rare ones they get from flying private.

Some of us had a discussion on one of the discords a while ago and presented some of the collected data that some old heads had collected. Of the ones with multiple tests, none went beyond +/- 10, and in fact, if I recall correctly, I think none actually went beyond +/- 5 (which is a 10 point spread). I recall PJ above was involved and was agreeing with someone else saying +/- 10 (which is a 20 point spread), but I'm of the opinion what he's said here about a 10 point spread (which is +/-5) is closer to right.

Other things discussed included guys who get the MMA documentary random event all tend to have pretty decent IQs and the opposite is true for the toe stubbers. Therefore even without an IQ test, you have a good indication here.

Where I don't really remember is how the hidden intelligence figure directly translates to IQ. There's obviously no 1 IQ guys rolling around, though there probably are guys with 1/150 in intelligence hiddens. It's clearly not a linear relationship (even if you include a figure to raise the floor), and it's also not helped by the additional noise introduced by IQ tests not being precise.

Yeah, even when retiring fighters and revealing their hiddens, it's not an exact science. To the OP, an 88-94 IQ is pretty low. I had a fighter score a 98 on the IQ test and get the "stubbed toe getting out of the shower" message indicating he's not bright.

Stubbed the toe getting out of the shower = low IQ

Selected and paid to do a documentary = high IQ

a very smart little ninja has said if you take IQ test result, subtract 75, and then multiply it by 2. That'll give you a fairly accurate range of what your intelligence hidden value is.

I.E. 100 IQ test result will mean 50/150 intelligence hidden. keep in mind IQ test result range varies, but it'll be close to true value. 125 IQ test result would be in the area of 100/150 intelligence hidden.
