Doozer
Freakshow 1: Live from Helsinki! On January 1st, 2025, the stage will be set for something unlike any combat sports event before it. Welcome to Freakshow 1, the inaugural event of the electrifying new tournament series that will redefine the world of MMA. Held in the heart of Helsinki, this event will not only kick off a new era of fierce competition, but will also feature 7 incredible bouts in the ground breaking Round Robin Tournament, alongside two spectacular Super Fights in the Main and Co-Main event slots. This is where fighters and managers will push the limits of their skills and strategy, all for the opportunity to be crowned champion and walk away with life-changing rewards. Who will rise? And who will fall? Main Event: Jimmy Vinge vs. Abraham Andersson The spotlight will shine brightest on the Main Event as two warriors of contrasting styles face off. Jimmy Vinge, a true knockout artist with an impressive record of 16 wins, 14 by (T)KO, and a solitary loss, has become a feared striker in the world of MMA. As a former DC Champion, his highlight reel boasts 6 OTN bonuses, showing the devastating impact of his fists and feet. But Vinge faces a stiff test in Abraham Andersson, a well-rounded and formidable ground fighter with 10 wins, including 4 by (T)KO and 2 submissions. His 3 OTN bonuses attest to his abilities, and his wrestling makes him a dangerous threat when the fight hits the mat. Both fighters are on impressive win streaks, but only one can remain victorious. Will Vinge’s knockout power reign supreme, or will Andersson’s ground game find the hole in his striking game? The clash of these two styles is set to be nothing short of spectacular. Who will leave the cage with their hand raised, and who will face the consequences of defeat? Co-Main Event: "The Machine" Kert Breischer vs. Cathal Tiernan In the Co-Main Event, we’ll witness a thrilling battle between "The Machine" Kert Breischer and Cathal Tiernan. Breischer, with a record of 9 wins (all by (T)KO) and 6 losses, is a powerhouse whose fists are his primary weapon. However, his journey has been full of ups and downs, and on January 1st, he faces a dangerous foe in Cathal Tiernan. With 7 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw, Tiernan has proven himself to be a technical and dangerous opponent, with a single OTN bonus to his name. But will his experience be enough to take down the seasoned striker in Breischer? Tiernan enters the cage hungry for redemption, eager to correct the errors of his last outing. Breischer’s raw knockout power might be his biggest weapon, but Tiernan’s strategy and adaptability will be key in this contest. This matchup promises to deliver a true test of wills – will Breischer’s power overwhelm, or will Tiernan’s tactical approach steal the show? The Ultimate Tournament Challenge Freakshow 1 is just the beginning of an intense journey for all competitors. Fighters will earn points throughout the Round Robin Tournament, accumulating victories through KO/TKO, submission wins, and decision victories. Only the top two in each weight class will qualify for the Title Fight, with the champions walking away with $50,000 for their managers. But the stakes don’t end there. After the weight classes are settled, the tournament will escalate into an Open-Weight Grand Tournament, where the reigning champions will face off in an unpredictable, high-stakes showdown for the Open-Weight Belt and a $1 Million prize. Get Ready for a Night Like No Other Freakshow 1 is not just an event – it’s the start of something massive. With world-class competition, high drama, and the possibility of witnessing history, this is an event you can’t afford to miss. Join us on January 1st, 2025, in Helsinki, for a night of unparalleled combat and unforgettable moments. Who will rise to the top? The countdown has begun!
