Pit Warrior Creation Tournament!

Creation Date: April 23, 2025

hBoyFgI.jpeg

Hosted by Pitbull TWGC & KT

Round Robin

6-8 fighters  (If more we will fill out 2 brackets to save time and hold a title fight between the two bracket winners)

3x5 min rounds

Cage

Date of Creation will be given after sign up is complete.  How long that takes is up to you.

These will be KT events, so plan your build accordingly.

18 Years Old or younger.

28 days of training/testing before first round.  Initially, I wanted to go with 21 days, but I also want to ensure you have time to test and get the best fighters you possibly can to participate in this.  So I have extended the additional 7 days for testing purposes.

21 days between fights  (with accelerated learning now, this is actually a great pace)

All fighters will be sent a 3k sponsorship from PitSport to help cover initial training costs.

Points:

Win - 1 point

Finish - 1 point

As simple as it gets.  You win, you get a point.  You win via stoppage, you get a bonus point.

Tie Breaker will be determined by head to head matchup and if somehow is needed secondary tie breaker will be KO table points.

These points will be the seeding factor in the 4 man micro tournament to crown the bracket champion.  So at least 2 fighters will be eliminated based on points alone.  Possibly more depending on how many sign up, and rather we use one bracket or two.

Once you are in the final 4 bracket, it becomes a single elimination tournament to crown the bracket champion.

The reason for this method is so that fighters who fall behind early have enough time to continue training and improving, gaining experience, and learning other fighters tactics.  By the tournament, everyone will have already fought everyone once, and have had time to correct their own training deficiencies or capitalize on their opponents weaknesses.  Or, perhaps, not be caught off guard by a non meta build with an unorthodox style.  Things happen, and a loss isn't the end.  You have time to recover, or such is the hope.

Rewards!

Tournament Winner - 3 months VIP, 1x Custom Avatar, $1,000,000 cash prize.

Runner up - $1,000,000 cash prize

If there are 2 brackets, rewards will change as follows:

Tournament Winner - 3 months VIP, $1,000,000 Cash Prize (in addition to bracket prize)

Bracket 1 Winner - 1x Custom Avatar, $1,000,000 Cash Prize

Bracket 2 Winner - 1x Custom Avatar, $1,000,000 Cash Prize

**Cash Prize is rewarded in the form of a Signing Bonus**

Bonuses:

We will try something different here.  Each season, at the end of the season, I will give a cash prize to the fighter who has the most points scored for KO bonuses.  The table for points will be simple, but should help reduce the chance for a tie at the end by simply having total KO's.  TKO's also count towards this table to eliminate color text.

KO Points Table

Round 1 KO/TKO - 3 points

Round 2 KO/TKO - 2 points

Round 3 KO/TKO - 1 points

KO/TKO in the final 60 seconds of ANY round - 5 points

Each round, I will add up a tally of KO points and keep it running.  At the end of the tournament, winner will get a cash prize of 500k.  This prize has nothing to do with the rewards so it is possible for the tournament champion to win this also, but also anyone can win this, rather you advance or not.  The KO bonus is only for the initial round robin.  It will end before the single elimination brackets begin.

Group List  (Official)

Group 1

1. Wanis - Fighter:   Wanis Killer (411856)

Reserve:

Alexandru Coval (411757)

Brackets will be generated and posted after fighters register to promote fair play.  Groups, however, are set and have been updated above.  I swapped Sub Zero and Cope T group assignments so that if we need to use Coval as a standby, he'll be in a separate bracket from his teammate.

Creation Date Set:  April 23, 2025

First Round - Friday, May 23, 2025

Any fighter created on or after the above date is eligible for the tournament.  This means on fighter profile page (not your personal time zone) the fighter's creation date must say Apr 23 or later. If you make a fighter on April 22, at 11pm server time, he will not be eligible.  Please make sure you create and start your testing process on or after the date provided.

If anyone would like to volunteer to set up test fights/cards for other managers to participate, please post it here or DM me and I will announce it.  I will not be hosting test fights in Pitbull as I will not have any open slots available in time.

**Once your fighter has been created and tested, and you have solidified your choice to participate, please post the fighter name/ID or link here so I can update the list/bracket.  You can send it to me in a DM as well, but I would prefer it here for easier record keeping and open transparency to all participants.**

We are half way to our minimum amount.  While I would prefer 2 groups of 6 for this, we can make anything over 6 work.

I just want to point out, because I know some people are not fans of the clinch game and the training involved there.  This is for KT, so clinch is very much a needed skill.  With the new amount of points for a creation at 18, you essentially start off with about the same ability you used to start off with on a 25 year old.  Couple this with the extra learning speed introduced recently, and anyone can train to compensate what their opponent is bringing your way.  Rather it's a clinch build, standardized striker build, dirty boxer, it doesn't matter.  You have a month to train/test before the first round.  That will allow you to do a lot.  The 3 weeks between fights is also ample time.  While yes, it is possible to miss up to a week of training after a fight if it goes all the way, the increased learning speed still compensates this and you will still have as much, if not more, training effect from this time as you would have from a full month between fights in the past.  In reality, overall, we should be seeing better training results on this format thanks to the new changes than we have in years past.

If it seems the vast majority wants to bump it up to 28 days between rounds, I am happy to make that switch.  This tournament is for your fighters, so you can make that call.

First 6 is set, this is the minimum requirement to get started.  I will give it another couple of days to see if we can get another group of 6 to sign up for 2 groups of 6, or 2 at least 2 groups of 5.

3 more spots would put us in the idea situation.  Spread the word if you know anyone who might be interested.  I will drop out to make it an even number if need be.  So we are already in good shape to move forward, but 3 more will put us in great shape and kickstart this thing.

You can also have people DM me with their intent and I'll sign them up.  I know some people avoid the forums like the plague.

I will give until the end of day tomorrow to see if we get this last spot filled up.  If not, I will withdraw myself from the tournament and we will roll with 2 groups of 5 for the round robin and I will give each fighter a single bye week during the tournament for extra training to compensate.

One single remaining spot.  Would be happy to have a few reserves if anyone wants to have someone one standby, just in case.  But 12 is the sweet spot for what I'm trying to do here.

Put me in, coach

And it's a lock!

If anyone else wants to participate, I will start taking names for reserves and I will give up my seat to another manager who wishes to participate.  I will post the official creation date later today.

Creation date is officially set.

April 23, 2025.  Make sure the fighter profile page says "Creation date April 23rd" and you are good to go.

First round will start on Friday, May 23rd, 2025.

There will be 2 brackets of 6 in a round robin format.

Brackets will be posted after fighters have all been officially tested and registered.

We need all fighters to be officially registered by May 07.    This gives you 15 days to test and select your fighters.

If anyone else wants to sign up as a fill in, feel free.  I am willing to set the tournament out (would prefer it) if another fighter wishes to participate in my place and I will be the stand by.

I'm pretty sure you still get the hidden reveal as KT, and as such, that would be better as you may get a little KT hype too, but I'm not 100% sure.  MMA would definitely give you the reveal you want, and I recommend managers make fighters in pairs of 2 to test against each other so they can control the sliders for additional testing.  So either way is fine and I'll leave that up to you guys if you want to test MMA or KT.

Yeah, either was is fine.  It would be better for the org for the hype and you can't lose KT hype since you won't have any to start with.  Also, I'd advise trying to have a 2nd card a few days later so that if the test fight reveals a crap hidden reveal, you have time to test another fighter.  The sooner we are done with the testing, the sooner you can dive into training.

Sure.

So due to the nature of event booking it'll have to be 7 days from now. But I'm running into a new issue. Maybe it's a browser thing? When I book the event and select Kickboxing, and I confirm the venue, it defaults back over to MMA. Really fucking stupid.

UPDATE:
It's all fixed now.

Test event 1 - https://mmatycoon.com/orgupcomingeventpublic.php?EvID=990348 - APRIL 30TH
Test event 2 - https://mmatycoon.com/orgupcomingeventpublic.php?EvID=990351 - MAY 2ND
Test event 3 - https://mmatycoon.com/orgupcomingeventpublic.php?EvID=990352 - MAY 4TH

Why 3? In case someone needs a 3rd test or something or someone misses the boat. At worst, I can cancel one.

They will be 1 Round 3 Minute KT's. I recommend making it a hugging contest.

If you would like a fight, quote something of mine to ping me pls kthnxloveubye
