  3. I know this didn't go so well last time I posted it but figured I'd try again ( if anyone has anything negative to say can you just create your own thread or pm me I don't want this derailed again) As many of you all know (since I use it as my picture ) I use to run GSF which back in the day was the biggest rival to the CFC in Montreal (only real rival for awhile) originally when I came back I had planned on remaking GSF and building it from the ground up. Things changed though I seen the CFC was up for sale and just couldn't let that opportunity pass me by. This game has lost so many of its iconic organizations that I figured the CFC had to be brought back. Today I purchased the CFC and will be looking to bring it back to the top where it should always be. The CFC was originally founded by Matt Mac way back when the game started in fact the CFC was made before the game was even released to the public but I figure since it has been in inactive for awhile I'd let Matt Mac explain it to you all because I obviously couldn't say it any better http://www.mmatycoon...g +championship I will be looking to carry on with the standards Matt Mac set so long ago by going for top talent right off the bat. I feel it is a shame not to see the CFC in the top ten and will do everything I can to make sure it gets back there. I will be contacting all the CFCs champions to try and get them to come back and defend their belts, but if you have any fighters that would like to be signed and help build the CFC back to former glories shoot me a message in game and we will try to work something out

  6. Note: Sorry this is so late getting put up, been busy at work with Thanksgiving coming. http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg29/Overbay17/1383642563Logo_zps47586b08.jpg XKC 18 Sunday, October 12, 2014 Live From Hayashi's Lounge in London, England MAIN EVENT Heavyweight Bout Tak Sin "Gaan Khaat Gam" Thanarat (24-15-1, 4-1 XKC) vs. "Panthera Onca" Joaozinho Gurgel (14-10, 2-1 XKC) Tak Sin Thanarat, from Licey, Thailand is an elite level striker, with all of his weapons, both punches, and kicks, and has strong wrestling as well, in order to work his clinch game. He is a finisher, having finished 18 of his 24 victories. Thanarat rampaged through the Heavyweight Division on his arrival in XKC, with four straight finishes over a who's who of the division, but lost by third round TKO in his last fight, when pitted against Heavyweight Champion Lorenzo Von Matterhorn! Joaozinho Gurgel, from Brasilia, Brazil, is an elite level Muay Thai striker, with a high level boxing game as well. He has strong clinch work, but tends to fight from distance. Always exciting to watch, Gurgel has racked up 13 "Of The Night" awards in his 14 fights, and has finished his opponent in all but one of his victories. Though Gurgel lost to Edward Nygma in his XKC debut, back to back stoppage victories over Zbigniew Ciosek, and Sexy Julian have him back on the right track! Prediction: This fight should be a war, but with two elite level strikers, I have to go with the stronger wrestling of Gurgel here. Gurgel by TKO (Round 3). CO-MAIN EVENT Heavyweight Bout Sexy Julian (14-8, 3-2 XKC) vs. "Knife" Zbigniew Ciosek (19-20-1, 2-3 XKC) Sexy Julian, form Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, is a high level striker, capable of causing damage with kicks or punches. He has knock out power, and is known for finishing opponents, finishing 13 of his 14 victories. Julian has traded wins and losses throughout his XKC career, and is coming off a first round knock out victory over Ino Tatsuya! Zbigniew Ciosek, from Wielkie Pole, Poland, is a high level Muay Thai striker, with a strong boxing game. He can fight well in the clinch, and isn't afraid to drag a fight into the deep water. Though he opened his XKC career with three losses, he has turned things around, winning his last two fights, Unanimous Decision victories over Peter Maynard, and Bjarno Lackenmeier! Prediction: While Ciosek will likely have the stronger clinch game, the combination of Julian being the better striker, and having knock out power will likely see him take the victory. Julian by KO (Round 1). UNDERCARD http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/150x100q90/539/VC9M3q.jpg XKC World Light Heavyweight Title Halfdan "Ragnarson" Lodbrok © (5-0, 5-0 XKC) vs. Armas Lumpio (10-2, 5-2 XKC) A rematch of both men's XKC debut. Lumpio is the only man so far to take Lodbrok out of the first round, but he still lost the fight by TKO in the second round! Halfdan Lodbrok was a Viking chief from Skagen in Denmark, and is a high level Muay Thai striker, with strong boxing skills as well as emerging clinch work. Lodbrok has been dominant, finishing all but one fight within the first round, and is coming off a first round knock out of Dark Killer where Lodbrok won his Light Heavyweight Title. Armas Lumpio, from Kuusamo in Finland, is a high level boxer, with strong Muay Thai skills, and clinch work. He likes to drag the fight to deep water, wearing his opponent down for either a decision or late TKO victory. Lumpio has won three straight fights, a first round TKO of Je Tunaki, and a second round TKO, and Unanimous Decision victories over Joseph Amadi to earn his title shot! Prediction: While Lumpio is definately the more well rounded fighter, just going by the numbers, it's hard at this point to go against Lodbrok's dominance. Lodbrok by KO (Round 2). Light Heavyweight Bout Akihiko Yamato (5-1, 5-1 XKC) vs. Joseph Amadi (6-5, 5-5 XKC) Akihiko Yamato, from Yokosuka, Japan, is a high level Muay Thai striker, who is still working on rounding out the remainder of his striking game. He prefers to fight from distance, using dangerous kicks, and punches to finish his opponents. Yamato bounced back from a loss to Halfdan Lodbrok with a first round TKO victory over Temujin Khan in his last fight! Joseph Amadi, from Abuja, Nigeria, is a high level boxer, with an emerging Muay Thai game. He prefers to fight from distance, and either finishes early, or tends to lose if the fight goes into the later rounds. Amadi is a former Light Heavyweight Champion, who defended his belt successfully on three occasions, but is now on a three fight losing streak, as after losing his belt to Dark Killer, he racked up two more losses against Armas Lumpio! Prediction: Amadi is a more well rounded competitor, and I expect he'll take the win here. Amadi by TKO (Round 1). http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/150x100q90/539/VC9M3q.jpg XKC World Welterweight Title John Luther © (6-1, 3-0 XKC) vs. Atauallah "The Orb Spider" Ganteaume (2-0, 2-0 XKC) John Luther, from London, England, is a high level Muay Thai fighter, who also has pretty good boxing. He prefers to fight from a distance, and uses the little wrestling skill he possesses to break out of opponents clinches as quickly as possible. He has won all three of his XKC fights, including defeating Yvgeny Molotov by fifth round TKO in his last fight to win the XKC Welterweight Title! Antauallah Ganteaume from Arima, Trinidad & Tobago, is a highly skilled young fighter, with high level skills in both boxing, and muay thai, and an emerging wrestling game. He likes to fight in the clinch, and also has a dangerous kicking game. He has won both his fights, a second round TKO win over Bill BumFight, and a second round TKO victory over former Welterweight Champion Yvgeny Molotov to earn this opportunity! Prediction: well, The Orb Spider has made me look really good so far in my predicting, so I'll continue the streak, also he has the advantage in striking, and in the clinch. Ganteaume by TKO (Round 2). PRELIMINARY CARD Lightweight Bout "Sir" Bedivere Vita Cadoc (3-4, 2-1 XKC) vs. "The Pilot" Kid Kamikaze (23-19-2, 0-2-1 XKC) Bedivere Vita Cadoc was a Knight of the Round Table, hailing from Camelot in Wales. He is an elite level boxer, with strong Muay Thai, and wrestling skills. While he has a strong wrestling game, he prefers to strike from distance, counting on his power to end his opponents nights. After two victories over Gar Logan to begin his XKC career, he lost his last fight by third round TKO to Kamikaze Suzuki! Kid Kamikaze, from Japan, is an elite level Muay Thai striker, with a strong boxing game, and good wrestling as well. He loves the deep water, and is a decision machine, fighting to 33 decisions in his 45 fights. He is on a three fight winless streak, and is coming off a Unanimous Decision loss to Jaakko Kolloo! Prediction: Cadoc's ability to finish will be the difference here. Cadoc by TKO (Round 2). Super Heavyweight Bout Harold "Badr" Hari (4-4, 4-2 XKC) vs. Luke Plouman Jnr (1-1, 1-1 XKC) A rematch of a fight back in August, where Hari took the victory by Unanimous Decision. Harold Hari, from an unknown part of Israel, is a well rounded if not supremely skilled striker, whose skill set has allowed him to pick up some wins. He has a tendency for early, powerful finishes, and is coming off a first round knock out victory over Lex Lethal! Luke Plouman Jnr, from Middlesborough, United Kingdom, is a high level Muay Thai striker, with an emerging boxing game. He prefers to fight from distance, using dangerous kicks to take out his opponents. He is coming off a second round knock out victory over Lex Lethal in his last fight! Prediction: With the Muay Thai advantage for Plouman being very significant, I expect his strong kicking game to be the difference as he avenges his loss. Plouman by KO (Round 2). Heavyweight Bout "Brysk" Bjarno Lackenmeier (14-7-1, 2-4 XKC) vs. Peter Maynard (14-18, 0-8 XKC) A rematch of a fight from back in July, where Lackenmeier took the victory by a closely contested Split Decision! Bjarno Lackenmeier, from Skagen, Denmark, is a high level Muay Thai striker, with a strong wrestling base for his clinch game. He prefers to fight from the clinch, and likes to drage fights into deep water, with 16 of his 22 fights going to a decision. He has lost three in a row since defeating Maynard, and is coming off a Unanimous Decision loss to Zbigniew Ciosek! Peter Maynard, from New York City, USA, is a elite level Muay Thai striker, with a decent boxing game, and solid wrestling skills. He prefers to fight from distance, and has had absolutely no success in the XKC ring. He has lost eight in a row since joining the XKC, and is coming off a third round TKO loss to Ino Tatsuya! Prediction: Normally I would be calling this based on fighter morale, but since neither fighter has any morale it will come down to who does something dangerous first. With Maynard being the better striker, I will go with him to avenge his loss. Maynard by TKO (Round 3).

  7. Dan" The Chainsaw" Brownson 25, fighting out of Sensei Toni Dojo weight in at 265lbs and standing at 200cm tall, he represents the Cookney of east London, he fought Robert Baratheon 18 ,the youngster fighting out of Storms End weight in at 265lbs and standing at 195cm the match up for non title shot QFC fight night card. 1st round - Robert dominated the round with Dan showing no answers to the agressive wrestling clinch being grind up against the cage for most of the round 2nd round - More of the same Robert clinch and brawl tactics are working this time he managed to land much more. 3rd round - And more of the same in this one to Dan is not able to counter the, obviously eficient Robert`s tactics, and thats it for the fight. Both fighters looked exausted in the end of the fight but Dan clearly took the worst of it , it was not an exiting fight but was tactics played in perfection by Robert who won by UNANIMOUS DECISION Xiquinho"Nitro" Salazar 25,the Portuguese fighting out of Sensei Toni Dojo weight in at 135lbs and standing at 170cm tall faced off Connor Rice from Dublin, Irland weight in at 145lbs and stands at 175cm record of 0-1 lightweight non title shot for QFC fight night card. 1st round - Salazar managed to land some strikes on the clinch as soon as the fight started but soon Rice managed to take the fight to the ground where he controled and kept it for the rest of the round without never being in real danger Salazar lost the first round. 2nd round - Salazar started the round sleeping and was brought down, it was looking like we where going to have 4 more minutes, being controled but never in danger, but this time Rice didn`t had more gas in the tank ,but from the moment the ref stand them up Salazar started to get clinical with hes Muay Thai clinch attack where he kept it for moast of the round and still managed to score a takedown in the end of the round he defenitly won that round. 3rd round - Rice still managed to score a takedown in the begining of the round but as soon as Salazar got the clinch it was it he pined Rice against the cage where he punished him for the rest of the round unlucky not to get the finish. Good display by Salazar wining well and showing an inteligent game plan and fighting style. Mo " The Dragon" Yan 25 from east London England fighting out of Sensei Toni Dojo weight in at 185lbs and stands at 187cm he fought Steve Freeman the American weigh in at 177lbs with an impressive 216cm tall this is a midleweight bout for non title QFC fight night card. 1st round - Yan cut freeman in the begining of the round, punished him with a brutal body attack during most of the round and managed to score a take down at the end controling the floor exange aswell. 2nd round - Yan clinch and braweled mainly attacking the body, but nearly got caught with an americana, the only time he was in any risc of loosing the fight, but didnt work they clich again and Yan gave Freeman some more punishment till the end off the round,he showed hes class and clearly won the round. 3rd round - It was just a question of time before Yan knock Freeman out, then Yan cought him with a punch Freeman legs got wobbly and Yan smelled blood and went for the kill just like a predator. In the end it was a dominant performance by "The Dragon" with the TKO puting the ice one the cake. Jean Pierre "the Legionaire"25 coming from Marseille, France fighting out of Sensei Toni Dojo weight in at 155 lbs stands at 179cm faced Burton Lawson 18 from hawai, USA weight in at 161lbs and stand at 166cm this fight was an QFC non title fight night card. 1st round - As expected Lawson came down looking for the takedown once he got it he worked some ground and pound from the top, but sudently chaged plans, and was sistematicly trying to submit Pierre who was holding hes own defending it but this one went for Lawson who dominated procedures. 2nd round - Tight round very level with the diference being that this time Pierre avoided been taken down, and when standing he was much more clinical specialy with hes kicks. 3rd round - Both fighters knew that it was too close to leave it to the judges so they came out staring each other up and said "lets do this then" good sign of respect and sportsmanship between them 2 fighters, but as soon as the round started Pierre hurt Lawson with a head kick, and them finished him off with an highlight reel axe kick KO. An inexperient Jean Pierre showed up but he showed hes a warrior coming back from behind and KO Lawson in amazing fashion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGl-UfrzxNU Post fight interview for the local newspaper with my fighters will be realesed sunday pm

  10. ( " All we hear is Radio Ga Ga -> All we need is Lee Kagawa " ) Think I might have started this thread a bit later than I usually do when The Island starts but not to worry, I've started one now! I've previously done two career threads in the past for my fighters, both of which were former Island fighters. If you haven't heard of either of them, I'll do a quick summary for you. Liam O'Connor (10-5), who is currently now signed to Umbrella Corporation, started his career in the very first season of The Island. He went on to win the VIP Middleweight title before losing it to The Castaway. He had a number of rivals during his time on The Island, namely Pan Goatboy and The Castaway. Since leaving The Island, I basically retired him and didn't have him fight for a long time until Scooby suggested to have a tournament for ex-Island fighters and because I still was managing him I decided to sign him up, he won his first fight in the tournament and then it was canned as BEEF was sold by Scooby to Umbrella Corporation. Fortunately, Liam O'Connor was deemed good enough to sign for Umbrella and he's just after losing his debut fight for the organisation and is awaiting his next fight. The jury is still out as to whether or not he'll find success outside of The Island. Kenneth Omeruo (8-4) has since retired from professional MMA since he left The Island after Season 2. He had great success at the start of The Island but a 3 loss streak at the end of the Season convinced me he wouldn't be good enough to compete if he signed up for an organisation outside of The Island. He and The Can were considered the best Lightweights on The Island for quite some time, that was until a shock submission loss against Billy Hill. He had an eventful time on The Island and got into a war of words with the Chaos owner while signed to them. We're still not sure if to this day the owner of Chaos and Kenneth have spoken a word since their "heated discussion", though I'd guess they haven't. If you haven't guessed already, my new Island fighter is called Lee Kagawa. This thread will be like the threads I've done for both Liam O'Connor and Kenneth Omeruo. I'll be posting about Lee Kagawa's career, so you'll see smack talk, pre fight interviews, post fight interviews, possibly previews and reviews of his fights included in his thread. I know some of the forum users were fans of my previous threads and so you guys will also enjoy this thread. If you haven't read one of my career threads before, now's the chance for you to follow one of my fighters from basically their creation to their retirement. To avoid spoilers, do not go onto my manager profile or Lee Kagawa's profile otherwise you'll find out the result of his fights before I've posted them on here. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lee Kagawa, grew up in Seoul in South Korea, a country known for producing some of top Asian MMA fighters in the world. When Lee first watched South Korean MMA star Chan-Sung Jung (36-12) during his days fighting at Ascension he fell in love with the sport of MMA and looked for a local gym where he could train, hoping that one day he could be fighting professionally like his hero and maybe go on to become a famous MMA fighter in South Korea, like Chan-Sung Jun, Yeo Jae Suk (22-10) and K.J. Choi (25-12). http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14094981823877.png Lee Kagawa 25 year old 135lbs 0-0 " It is an honour just being on this Island. I hope to do my family proud during my time on this beautiful Island. I might be small but I can certainly hit hard and if you don't believe me, step in the cage with me, put on your gloves and I'll show you just how hard I can hit. I guess I would compare myself to Chan-Sung Jung if I was going to compare myself to any fighter in the world right now. We're both 135lbs fighters, he's good no matter where the fight goes and it's the same when it comes to me. "

  20. I like the idea to get more value to the Sponsorships. But then forcing a fighter to only buy there products is not a good idea i think, plus the hype hit for the company when the Fighter looses. In real Life when a Fighter gets Sponsored that doesnt mean he is only using there products even using there products at all. The Fighter is just a Advertisement Place for the Company. The same goes for the loosing Streak or bad Fights for the sponsored Fighter, it isnt the fault of the Company that he isnt perfoming ok. So why should there loose hype? There are just not in the Eyes and minds of the public, because he isnt getting good Fight Card Spots. But i agree with the fact the only buying from your Sponsor would mean a great deal to Sponsor Deals and would make the more valued in the Game. I like the idea of a Cash bonus for thanking the Sponsor after a Fight and therefor getting a bit more hype for the Company. As it is now, i hope i understood it right. The only hype a Company gets for getting thanked after a Fight, is when the Fighter thanks the Company, that is also the Merchandise Partner of the Org. Why not get a little Hype bump for any thanks after the FIght? The Cash Bonus for thanking mean also more attention of the Fighter to there Sponsors. When i was new i wanted to thank my Sponsors in naming them after the Fight, but they told me dont do it and rather Hype myself or thank the Fans, because it wouldnt matter to the Companies Hype. I think that maybe needs a Change.

  32. Well I started a org way after Matt Mac in Montreal and brought it ahead of him mutiple times. But I understand where you are coming from. EDIT: Just to add I think anyone that had guys in both orgs could tell you my org had more depth in it without a doubt and also a little side note both times we had champion vs champion fights GSFs champions won. This isn't someone without any experience taking over. GSF was by far the CFCs biggest rival in Montreal. 2nd EDIT: Just checked your manager profile and I'm really surprised you would say that since you would have been around back then, GSF surpassed the CFC on many occasions.

  43. Following Insanity 49 reporters took a moment to speak with a couple of tonight's warriors. First to speak was Silent Bob Who had just finished off a dominating 3 round decision victory against Guan Yu. Silent Bob: Well that went exactly to plan, I knew coming in I had enough of an advantage to take home the W but more importantly, I had motivation on my side as I wanted to show manager Tony Martin He made a drastic mistake in sacking me when he did, under the guidance of my coaches at Masaru I feel unstoppable and on this night I wanted to make sure Martin knew what a mistake he had made! Now on to more important business, where's my title shot? I am ready, hungry and feel I have earned my shot!! Next to speak was Niko Alzate who endured 5 rounds of what most will say was complete dominance, out striking the striker in what looked to many like a schooling of sorts lasting longer then any other warrior ever had up against Cyril Makareko, unfortunately just when it looked like the buzzer would sound to end the fight and Makarenkos reign as Champ, the miracle blow ended Alzate's dreams... Niko Alzate: do you believe that shit, I don't think I have ever enjoyed a more dominating performance at any point of my career only to taste that sour, sickening feeling of defeat. I got careless at the end and it cost me but I will be back, I proved to all the doubters I could hang with Makarenko, my hat goes off to him, no matter how u shake it out, he got the W but one day I will get a chance to finish what I couldn't tonight!

  44. I'm sure as many of you all know Silva "ran" from a drug test prior to UFC 175 where he was suppose to fight Chael Sonnen. Well that has finally come back to bite him in the ass as he has recieved a 70k fine and was handed a lifetime ban by the Nevada Athletic Commission. This doesn't really concern Silva since he retired last week but I thought it was pretty interesting what do you guys think was it a little harsh or deserved ? http://www.sherdog.com/news/news/Recently-Retired-Wanderlei-Silva-Receives-3670K-Fine-Lifetime-Ban-in-Nevada-74387

Since the merge of IMPACT and Troid, the McGuiness brothers have signed over their contracts and there is a rumour that they may fight on the same card for the first time!!! Fight offers are underway and we are both just waiting for our opponents to accept. Now i may be busy a lot of time running Sully's Bar & Grill but i still love to step into the cage and throw down!! Afterwards i will always buy my opponent a beer!! http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14041311491144.jpg "Lucky" Liam McGuiness (246080) Someone say "beer?"

  46. we are down to the final four, everyone of these fighters will get at least 50k first up we have "shifu" Yip Man, the favorite to win it all he is manged by Scooby Ali (the best ranked manager) and has the best striking of all of the remaining fighters, but dont think striking is all he can do as he is also a decent wrestler and has a blue belt in BJJ in fact both of his first two wins were by way of first round submission, i am almost positive he wont have a submssion in his next fight against Scarlet Storm Scarlet Storm is managed by dave and has the second best BJJ of the remaining fighters (second to "The Boy") and the second best wrestling (behind "Olivary") he won both of his first two fights by submission and is looking to do the same thing to Yip Man in his next fight next we have Roy "the Boy" Bradley managed my Mickey heart, the Boy had the most dificult time getting to the simifinals by having one draw meaning he had to fight three times instead of two, however in the rematch fight he did submit nathan young who was considered to have one of the best BJJ of all fighters from the start and he did it in under two minutes and last we have Superior "Olivary" Nucleus manged by Abraham Raheem, he has two first round submissions and is considered to be the second best striker behind Yip Man, he does have the best wrestling, so he can usually dectate where the fight will take place, will that be enough to get the win Find out who will be in the finals only on SFC

Yea it is a little ridiculous but obviously they wanna make an example of Silva and make sure nobody ever does this again, I think its better then them basically doing nothing and then us seeing guys that know theyd test positive running away from tests lol XD EDIT: Sorry for double post wasn't really thinking still early where I live lol
