  1. For a while now, I felt like a new change was needed. I've been running orgs for about a year now, always under someone else's creation. So after some thought and consultation, I'm proud to announce that Pride's xmas show will be the last event under that banner. This clears the way for a Jan 1st rebrand. Same Management and style you guys have grown to fight for and trust, with a face lift.New Logos New Belts and most importantly a new name! Beginning with our January 1st slate of events we will rebrand and be known as The Inferno Combat Series. Our upcoming best on best King of the Mountain tournament will now truly act as a memorial to the naming and paint scheme of old. Welcome to the 9th Circle. See you in the Cage!

  3. Ah shit. That's a shame because it's a cracking idea. You're right though, best not to start it then lose interest halfway through. Hopefully some enthusiastic chap on here takes over and it still happens.

  5. There has been rumours about Balder Bull returning to fight in Tokyo since the Tokyo Rebels promotion was first started up. This was further fuelled by him being present at the first two events getting plenty of screen time whenever the camera panned over the ringside seats. Now it has finally been confirmed he will fight Justin Midget at Tokyo Rebels 3. vs Balder Bull still enjoys a special status with the Japanese fans since the days at BFF where he was punching out anyone standing in front of his famous first round "Bull charge" attack. His finest moment was the legendary champion vs champion slugout against Jackson Boone with both fighters throwing power shots like there was no tomorrow. Bull won the battle but he lost the war. At the peak of his career he fell into some bad company, was frequently seen out late at sleazy Tokyo bars. Often in the company of people like Kaito Inuzuka known for their connections to some of the shadier business Rei was said to be running in Tokyo. It would have been bad enough if only half the rumours were true, yakuza involvement in BFF, investigations leading all the way to the top pointing at Rei himself before the organization was suddenly closed. But there was also the drug & alcohol abuse. Balder Bull fell as quickly as he rose with 4 straight losses. As a crowd favourite he even became a Japanese cartoon character having fictional fights in the cartoon world against other legends of the sport like Ken Shamrock. Another thing he had in common with Ken Shamrock was lending his name to show wrestling after practically giving up his MMA career. At the time no one could see him ever returning to serious fighting even though he claimed he was still doing Muay Thai at The Race gym owned by Dw Fsps. Eventually he did make it back to real MMA again and even to Tokyo with 3 fights in the last days of BFF. Among the chaos going on at the time with police raids and money laundering allegations he managed to show the old Bull still had it in him with two quick knockout wins and was also inducted in the HoF. Still he was now seen as a mid-tier fighter, an honoured old veteran but past his prime and unlikely to be more than a gatekeeper for the next generation of champions. Tokyo Rebels has now attracted some of the very best fighters best fighters of the world. Is Bull fighting here a statement he is once again looking to hang with the big names? Could we eventually see Bull vs Boone 2 at TR? His next opponent is no unproven youngster. Midget got over 50 fights to his name and is a deadly grappler with his strength in the ground game which has always been the weakness for Bull. No matter the winner here the Tokyo fans are sure to enjoy seeing the two veterans battle it out at the Nippon Judokan arena, appreciating the history and the skill both fighters are bringing to this fight. One thing speaking for Bull in this fight is that the previously successful Punch Out gym has now been reopened and is once again offering top level MMA training. While many of the big names coming out of there in the past are now retired from the sport the ranks have been strengthened with an influx of fighters previously trained under Alex K now coming from the Stepdads to join La Familia. In addition fellow ex-boxer Glass Joe is still going strong in his MMA career and is now training with Bull once again. 9. 350k isn't bad. I have 40% 355k fighters and only like 3 or 4 guys that are inactive.

  10. WolfPac Fighting Alliance is 345k+ at 145, 170, and 205. However, since 90% of these divisions are 350K & above here soon. They are going to be 350k+. The biggest thing I run into with 355k+ is there is not enough trustworthy managers (not logging in enough or at all) to keep a full division of 355k. I can only imagine how rough a whole org would be at this moment.

Gardner http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1b10.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/32/32b17.jpg MAIN EVENT Jamal "Black Pantera" Gazimagomedov (KT 0-0-0 MMA 7-4-0) VERSUS Shaopang Narpowang (KT 0-0-0) 5-3 Minute Rounds at 155lbs Oooouuuuurrrr MAIN event of the evening is an anticipated contest between two debutants in the world of KT, the rough and ready Jamal Gazimagomedov, versus the fresh faced newcomer to combat sports: Shaopang Narpowang. A bit of a brawler, but with considerable Muay Thai prowess, he comes in with a spotty record of 7-4-0 in MMA, and will be hoping for a change of fortunes in a new arena of combat. The russian has shown he has the ability to go the distance, grinding out a large number of decision wins in a relatively short career, and given he won't have to worry about the takedown anymore, I'm sure he will relish the chance to compete. Shaopang will have it all to prove against a tough customer, as he comes into this contest with no professional fighting experience, but I've heard through the grapevine, he comes from exceptional managerial company, training at the BloodFight gym owned and operated by his manager Christian Johansson. This gives the youngster a superb chance at accomplishing a great feat on his debut. How do I think this fight will go down? Aye, there's the rub. Both fighters will doubtlessly want to take this fight into the clinch, being MT practitioners and having well developed inside fighting ability, who will be able to eek out the win from the tie up? I have to hand the edge to the youngster, albeit hesitantly - as we have no evidence to examine his work yet - but he comes from a good stable of fighters and talented management, I think that has to give him an advantage against a tough, but not elite opponent. "Black Pantera" might prove me wrong, but my moneys on Shaopang. Gabes Prediction: Shaopang Narpowang (W) TKO/KO RD 1-2 http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/43/43w2.jpghttp://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/37/37a1.jpg Manolito Tai Kung (KT 2-0-0 MMA 2-0-0) VERSUS Cayden "Kay-Ohhhhh" Abner (KT 0-0-0 MMA 4-0-0) 3-3 Minute Rounds at 170lbs Our co-main is one this writer is incredibly excited by, Tai Kung, a familiar face and highlight reel in Striking Masters, takes on a debuting Abner, who is crossing over from mixed martial arts, and who has a scary record for someone just starting in MMA, with three KO wins out of four, albeit two against the same fighter. Similar to our main event, both fighters are Muay Thai specialists, but both are coming in undefeated across two disciplines. Tai Kung has wreaked havoc here in SM so far, with two headkick victories back to back, and a 100 percent KO rate in all fights in every discipline, he'll look to light up his opponent with killer striking for a third straight fight - but he has his hands full tonight. Abner may favour MT as his discipline of choice, but he's not a fighter to rush into the clinch, or throw wild kicks, knees or elbows. Indeed, Abner favours the punch above all strikes, and has found considerable favour with it across four MMA bouts, earning three KO wins and two inside of a minute. It looks like as opposed to a clinch clinic, we'll see a striking war between a versatile kickboxer, and a heavy handed puncher. I'm licking my lips in anticipation! Who has the edge in this writers mind? It's close, real close, but I think with more tools, and more experience in KT, Tai Kung poses an overall greater threat, and he's not proved me wrong so far. Sorry Cayden, I'm siding with Manolito and early, after a wild opening exchange. Gabes Prediction: Manolito Tai Kung (W) KO/TKO RD 1 THE UNDERCARD Piger Whok (KT 3-0-0) VERSUS Mick Green (KT 1-0-0) 3-3 Minute Rounds at 135lbs Possibly the fight with the largest implications in the division at SM, as two of the top prospects go to war. I think both fighters have the power to stop eachother, but I think this goes to a close decision, and Whok just takes it. Could be proved wrong though. Gabes Prediction: Piger Whok (W) Decision SD/MD RD 3 "The Warlord" Jory Rosewarne (KT 1-0-0) VERSUS Aundre Groce (KT 0-0-0) 3-3 Minute Rounds at 205lbs Two good prospects will face off here. I was proven wrong by Rosewarne in his debut, which he impressively won in under 30 seconds, but I think his lack of a clinch game will be his undoing against a debuting MT specialist. I could fall on my face with this prediction too, but who knows. I think Groce gets a late knockout in the clinch, or takes the win by decision in his debut. Gabes Prediction: Aundre Groce (W) KO/TKO RD 2-3 OR Decision UD RD 3 Abrama "The Spider" Silva (KT 2-1-0) VERSUS Tafa "Mutant" Misipati (KT 1-0-0) 3-3 Minute Rounds at 265lbs A huge weight difference here at heavyweight as Misipati comes in as clearly the bigger man. Silva will have the speed and perhaps explosiveness advantage but he's just come off a loss where he tasted real heavyweight power. Its a close call, but I think Misipati might just clip him, but it wouldn't surprise me if the tough, and incredibly hard hitting for his size Silva takes him by surprise and gets back in the win column. Gabes Prediction: Tafa "Mutant" Misipati (W) KO/TKO RD 3 (Notes: Could Go Either Way) Robert Brownie Jr (KT 1-0-0) VERSUS "Boy" George Michael Bisping (KT 0-0-0) 3-3 Minute Rounds at 185lbs A great matchup here between two young prospects, and a classic Boxer versus Kickboxer type of clash in store. I know next to nothing about "Boy" GMB but only that he does come from accomplished management. That being said, Brownie Jr has show ability against MT fighters, getting a decision victory in his first KT fight. It could be close, and I may not have enough information to even be qualified to make a decision here, but since its my job, I'll have to default to the only fighter I've seen fight, but I'll keep a close eye on this one for future matchups. Gabes Prediction: Robert Brownie Jr (W) Decision UD RD 3 Frankie Edgar Allen Poe (KT 0-0-0) VERSUS Akio "A-Bomb" Nagashima (KT 0-0-0) 3-3 Minute Rounds at 155lbs Two unknowns here, so I have practically nothing to go on. The management team behind Allen Poe is more proven, so I'll side with reputation alone on this one, another fight to watch to get an idea behind each fighters abilities going forward. Gabes Prediction: Frankie Edgar Allen Poe (W) KO/TKO RD 1-3 OR Decision UD RD 3 "Iron" Mike Tyson Fury (KT 0-0-0) VERSUS Kuuyo "Dos" Ueda (KT 0-0-0) 3-3 Minute Rounds at 265lbs Same exact story as the previous fight, even the same management, would be a hypocrite to say anything other than the same result. Gabes Prediction: "Iron" Mike Tyson Fury (W) KO/TKO RD 1-3 OR Decision UD RD 3 Ando "Smoke" Fumiaki (KT 0-0-0) VERSUS Javaris Jamar Javarison Lamar (KT 0-0-0) 3-3 Minute Rounds at 265+lbs Another fight between two debutants in openweight. Its a tough call but I think the weight difference favours Fumiaki, and he might be able to use his speed advantage to harrass Quadruple J and eek out a win, he won't want to get into grappling battle too bad though, he might get leaned on. Could go either way, so toss a coin. Me? I think Fumiaki might just pull it off. Gabes Prediction: Ando "Smoke Fumiaki (W) KO/TKO RD 1-3 OR Decision UD RD 3 Rafael "Capoeira" De La Rosa (KT 0-0-0) VERSUS Manny Fernandez (KT 0-0-0) 3-3 Minute Rounds at 145lbs Our opening fight sees two promising prospects taking on one another, and yes, its another one where I've never seen any of them fight and have to guess again. whoop de dooo! (My prediction accuracy could be all over the map for this one folks). But I do love a fight where I don't know whats going to happen so lets stop complaining and analyze. Its a close call, since I think both DO have potential, and what it takes to succeed (Good ability, good management, young enough to improve etc.) Buuuut I think De La Rosa's superior ability at MT might be the deciding factor. Who knows. If you do, you're either a liar or are cheating somehow. Verdict? a De La Rosa victory early on. Gabes Prediction: Rafael "Capoeira" De La Rosa (W) KO/TKO RD 1-2 OR Decision UD RD 3 Aaaaaaaaaand thats it! I hope you enjoyed reading this P&P, I look forward to an intruiging night of high level striking, as a lot of new blood joins the KT scene. Tune in!
