  1. Ah yes, the new buck in town trying to epitomize everyones experiences over the years into one, quick, easy learning experience. It doesnt really work like that. There are a lot of things that could be mentioned. For instance keeping morale and energy up, managing training schedule to optimize energy, blah blah blah. But the truth is as far as builds and sliders there is not a cookie cutter build. If you want to become good at the game you have to experiment, fail and learn. Someone could tell you what to set your skills and sliders at but unless you understand why, you will never improve. When you make your fighter decide, is he going to be a striker? A grappler? A mix of the two? And develop him the way you think makes sense. If you fail then you can ask, this is what i did this is what happened what am i missing? Those are the kinds of questions that get answered. Whats the best way to make a fighter and train him likely will not get an answer.
  2. My personal advice would be to not take the fight. In my opinion he is not ready and perhaps shouldnt even have a contract. If you want to fight cheers to you. I would suggest doing a full week of cardio with increase stamina and rests. Then once hes close to 10 (hopefully) cram the rest with strength and muscle bulk. Make sure he is rested up for his fight. Good luck.
  3. You dont need an org to organize a tournament. Any org out there would love to host your tournament.
  4. What a great idea, why dont you organize one?
  5. When your fighter trains at part time or no training he gets a job to make money instead, still using his energy. If you want him to recover energy for a fight, instead keep him on full time training and choose no training in the gym for the sessions you would like to rest.
  6. Yes, that's why I sac'd my island fighter. Personally am not going to play on the island anymore because the activity level is simply not up to par.
  7. I guess the hype farm will have to take a hit, won't it.
  8. Such a shame to see you go, but really cant blame you. All the best.
  9. People actually trade tycoon money for vip time? Whats the current rate of exchange?
  10. Most of my guys go from useless -- to useless -. If i want anything better ill be rerolling until im out of vip
  11. Exactly. Theres already a big enough difference between top 100 managers (sparring with retired veterans with high skill) and managers still in their first year or two (sparring with whatever bums one can pick up off the FA list) I dont think we need learning speed, just another obstacle (albeit one that generates money) for a new manager to jump over.
  12. There is just too many problems with this game and nobody to fix them. Another problem is learning speed - just a way to sell more vip is all. I have never rolled a fast learner. I decided this time Im going to reroll until i get a fast learner. In the past 2 weeks I have spent at least 2 months vip rerolling fighters. Still no fast learner. I love this game but this, along with all of the other issues, really has me on the verge of forgetting about it. The idea of buying another year of vip just to waste half of it trying to get a fighter who will learn quickly just does not sound ideal to me. Let alone supporting a dev who doesnt give a shit about his customers or his product for that matter.
  13. I just dropped below 100 vip days left and I was thinking to myself the same thing. A couple disappointments in my fights and in the engine kind of didnt help. But i still get a little excited when i see that skill pop or when i have a tough fight coming up. Id like to see my fighters reach their peaks and fight at the top of the rankings but who knows if they ever will.
  14. SyFi 56 May 27/18 Brought to you by Forge Clothing Co. Main Event of the Evening 265 lbs. - (C) Rick Piano (8-0) vs. Santu Avisu Kona (7-0) While his streak of first round finishes may have come to an end in his most recent title defense against Ross Barkley, Rick 'Roidburg' Piano is still on top, smashing through all of his competition in dominant fashion. He faces the toughest opponent of his career next in Santu Avisu Kona, another undefeated striker. In his debut Kona made waves, stopping Gyukosho Fujimoto in the first round with a monstrous uppercut in the clinch position. On paper, Kona has a slight advantage in the striking department which is, of course, what both of these men do best. It surely will be war for the enjoyment of all Sydney fans in attendance! 265 lbs. - Stefan Harpik (5-1) vs. Canelo Lopez (3-0) Harpik had a nice showing in his Sydney debut, dragging down Angel Childress and smashing him with some excellent ground and pound, rendering the man virtually defenseless. His next opponent, slated for his fourth appearance, is Canelo Lopez. This young upstart has all first round finishes thus far, with a combination of proficient boxing and clinch fighting. The story of this fight comes down to the grappler Harpik being able to get his guy with a takedown. His chances are not great if he cannot. 135 lbs. - Connor Joieson (3-0) vs. Brain Fog (5-2) 'Chameleon' Joieson has been on a tear since signing with Sydney Fights, controlling the tempo of a fight with excellent takedowns and a great top game. Dispatching Dax Baxter in the third round in his last fight, Joieson is on his way up the ranks, and the next man to stand in his way is Brain Fog. No stranger to the division, exceptional wrestler Fog has only lost against the champion, Daichi Kishimoto. With wonderful takedowns, and constantly threatening with deadly submissions, Brain Fog seeks to claim another chance at the title with another win tonight. 265+ lbs. - Jim Bob McDonald (4-1) vs. Voshon Daniels (4-2) After tapping out to a kimura in less than 40 seconds to Arn Anderson in his last fight, superb boxer/wrestler 'The Barnyard Brawler' is bouncing back to get back on the path of victory. He's after a much satisfactory derailing of 'The Pain Train' Voshon Daniels. Daniels also tapped to Anderson, in his case a classy americana, but in his last bout came back and put Ivar The Boneless to bed in the first round with an overhand right that still gives my children nightmares, and they didn't even watch the fight. 205 lbs. - Joshua Syracuse (3-2) vs. Evan Dryll (2-2) Under brand new management and returning for his fifth Sydney appearance is strong boxer 'The Sauce' Syracuse. In his last bout he unfortunately gave his back away to Dai Zexi, who choked him out immediately given the chance. Even in the win and loss columns, Syracuse looks to get his career back on the right track against Evan Dryll, a man much in the same position. Evan Dryll hit the mat hard in his last fight, when Krit Leekpai smacked him with a hard right hand early in the first round. One of these men will be looking at a fresh start with a victory tonight, while the other may be looking for a new job. 205 lbs. - Jengo Makumba (3-1) vs. Kevin Durant (1-3) 155 lbs. - Jorma Suoro (3-1) vs. Philip Moore (1-2) 265+ lbs. - Ted Dibiase (2-1) vs. Jason Imbert (2-2) 265+ lbs. - Cat Fhin (3-3) vs. Ivar The Boneless (2-3) 205 lbs. - Carlos Silva (2-2) vs. Bull Mfer
  15. Unless it was someone who loves the game already..
  16. I play on my mobile nearly entirely. As far as I am aware you cant check the exact learning speed on a mobile. So what would a 5.5 look like in the assistant? From 1-- to 1+?
  17. I think that the game is past its golden age for sure, definitely on the decline. However this game is fairly self sufficient and those who play it love it a lot so its death may take a very long time.
  18. SyFi 53 May 20/18 Brought to you by Forge Clothing Co. Main Event of the Evening 265+ lbs. Title Fight (C) Arn Anderson (6-0) vs. Matt Wills (5-1) Undefeated superweight champion Arn 'The Enforcer' Anderson is making his fourth title defense tonight and this could be a barn burner. This is the first time since fighting his brother that he will face another grappler. His opponent, Matt 'The Guvna' Wills has pretty near the exact same build as Anderson and could pose a threat to the throne. Both of these men have finished off their opponents in the first round, this fight will be intense and I'd say it might as well have TWGC rules! 185 lbs. Title Fight (C) Apollo Reid (7-3) vs. Big Asznee (9-1) In this immediate rematch, newly crowned Apollo 'Master of Disaster' Reid looks to make his first title defense against former champion Big 'Baba' Asznee. Asznee was on his third title defense when Reid caught him slipping in his first round, cracking his granite chin - as well as his undefeated streak - with a giant right hand at just about the one minute mark. Was it a fluke? Asznee thinks so and will definitely try to get Reid down to the ground where he can showcase his skills in jiujitsu. 135 lbs. Fight Glass Joe (4-1) vs. Dieselnoi Por Pramuk (4-1) Former pro-boxer Glass Joe is coming off of a first round knockout over Chief Waters in his best performance to date but he's looking to top that as he squares off against Dieselnoi Por Pramuk, a well-rounded muay thai fighter who is coming off of the first loss of his career to champion Daichi Kishimoto where he fought an arm triangle until he could not anymore and passed out. He'll get a better showing here against Joe, as he seems the more skillful fighter on paper. 170 lbs. Fight Pahani Julmu (4-0) vs. Putem The Nightmare (2-1) In his debut, Pahani Julmu used his takeowns and ground work to earn a unanimous decision victory over Bruno Javier Jimenez. Currently undefeated, his opponent Putem 'Tobed' The Nightmare will try to put a stop to that. After his first round kneebar win over Luke Melendez, The Nightmare showed us that he can certainly grapple, but on paper he is at a disadvantage should Julu choose to keep the fight standing. 155 lbs. Fight Jorginho Marcelo (2-2) vs. John 'Ulick' MaGee (5-2) With two first round armbar wins under his brown belt, Jorginho Marcelo will be looking to get another. His opponent, John 'Ulick' MaGee is trying to get his second win, getting the tko in only 30 second over Landon Wood. Though MaGee is a purple belt in jijutsu, he's been taken down and submitted before. Will he be able to keep the fight upright so he can bang out another finish? Undercard 170 lbs. Fight Jackson 'Filet' Finnegan (3-2) vs. 'Daytime Bob' Ariel At Night (2-1) 170 lbs. Fight Edgar Avetisyan (3-0) vs. Hosep Grigorian (3-0) 205 lbs. Fight Antonio 'Mago' Medina (2-3) vs. Tsuyoi '最強' Kakuto (1-0) 170 lbs. Fight Brandon 'Light Mayo' Bragg (3-1) vs. Hanyu 'Little Dragon' Lee (2-1) 155 lbs. Fight Kento Ban Gbus (3-2) vs. Steph Curry (1-2)
  19. It was a figure of speech, as in you arent the only one, yeah?
  20. Jazz Clementine Ive got other tools to win a fight, but not for you sweetheart. All I need for you are these hands. You will dream your strange fantasies as you lay unconcious on the mat. Are you upset? Take it to the gym like a professional. Not that it will matter.
  21. Jazz Clementine I applaud your bravery for leaving your comfort zone, too bad for you Im gonna knock your ass back into it. Most of the fools Ive faced couldnt take these hands for more than a round. You think youll be different? It will be a good fight, but only because it will end quickly. Im too savvy for you.
  22. Jazz Clementine That loss to Tim Slater was more than a year ago first of all, and secondly he was a better wrestler a year ago then you are today. He got me down, sure. He revealed the hole in my game. You better believe ive spent this past year covering that hole up. You wont get a chance to submit me, though im sure you would do just that if you got me down. Ive got respect for you and your career as a 135 pounder, i just hope you can throw hands half as good as you can roll around on the ground.
