  1. I picked up a FA that had pitiful Morale. None of his Training had any effect and I thought that he might be a very slow learner... I went on a shopping spree, rotated him into clean clothes and now that his Morale is up, he's progressing nicely, now. Good luck! Mike

    Sparring

Emil, it depends on your fighter's skill levels really. My new guys build up Conditioning and Strength. If I'm in the "economy Gym" and there are huge Sparring Sessions in a Primary that I have at Useless, I'll sign him up for those Sessions. This may only be 2-3 times a week, but I have other things that I'm focusing on. Good luck! Mike
  3. When you train secondaries, it will affect other related skills, just not as much. ie: I had Punches Strong++ and Agility Feeble++ I then trained 'Punch Technique' and they both Popped. I also had a fighter with Wrestling Feeble++ and TD Def Competent--, I trained TD Def and popped my Wrestling. On another occasion, I've sparred Wrestling and popped Balance.... So, yes they do. Good luck! Mike
  4. 5 or less in the Session. Good luck! Mike
  5. There was an event that had huge implications in the LHW Division, my LHW contender would have definitely attended that event. I don't think that money should "buy" hype or popularity, but given this opportunity he definitely would have attended. I like the concept of "buying tickets" but think that any "improvements" from this should be minimal, maybe more of a "scouting" bonus than anything. Maybe if tickets were bought, you could select 1 or 2 fights on the card that you would "scout" and depending on your hidden intelligence, some benefit could be given? Just throwing this out there because I like the concept, just not how it was originally proposed. Good luck! Mike
  6. I guess I have to go with: Blitzkrieg Friedhelm Jarmo Myllys Eli Gull Hanz " Got " Titties Good luck! Mike
  7. Our priority is providing only quality opportunities for our Members. With Class Sizes averaging 4.3 Members per Session, I will be adding our 3rd 150 Elite Conditioning Coach once we hit 45 Members (3 more, we're at 42 now). Once we hit 50, our Membership giveaway will happen, as explained in the above post. Good luck! Mike
  8. In the game, there is no such thing as a 'Cardio Coach'. Cardio/Weights/Yoga and Sparring can be done at any Gym and do not use a Coach. I believe that you are referring to Circuit Training which increases ALL of your Physical Skills. If you can find a Gym with 150 Elite CT Coaches with Class Sizes 5 or less for $30, please show me. I may need to relocate. btw... there are Gyms with 150 Elite CT Coaches that cost a LOT less than $600, click the link in my signature for one example. Good luck! Mike

    Skill Pops

Weeks is the number of weeks since the last pop and has nothing to do with how fast you're going to pop the skill. These numbers have been wrong before, do not pay them any mind. Only the --,-,+,++ is the indication on how close you are to popping. Good luck! Mike

    Skill Pops

Each Skill level is a spread of 10 points. The levels go -- to - to + to ++ to the next level. Think of each symbol being 2-3 points toward the next level. Once you hit ++, you're close to popping that Skill. Good luck! Mike
  11. Jim Beam Black and Vernor's Ginger Ale.... mmmmm As for beer, Beck's Dark is where it's at! Good luck! Mike
  12. We have just topped 40 Members and looking to reach the 50 Member plateau. Once we reach 50 Members, two things will happen... 1. We will be adding another 150 Elite Conditioning Coach 2. We will be rewarding (2) SPARdio Systems Members with a free month* of Membership! *Two members, drawn at random, will receive $500 each, enough to pay for four weeks of Training. Note: My Fighters are not eligible for this prize. This is a great opportunity for Amsterdam fighters. We always keep our facility in Pristine Cleanliness, with Brand New Equipment, and have 20 Weekly Sparring Sessions with a dedicated 'Wonderful' Rated Sparring Partner. We have two 150 Elite Conditioning Coaches and will be adding a third. Come see what SPARdio Systems can offer your fighter and be automatically entered to receive a free month of Membership! Good luck! Mike

Private Sparring Sessions are not built into the game. They would need to be coordinated for a '0' Member Sparring Session and hope that no one joins before Training occurs. Good luck! Mike
  14. Trace Bradley entered ROF 11 with extra media attention. Just a week ago, the LHW Champion was crowned among several fights in a big night for the Division and Bradley saw his stock rise, being listed as a top contender for the belt. Trace refused to be distracted by the media and prepared for his fight just like any other. 'The Grinder' commented, "I'm appreciative of the recognition but I cannot let these things take away from my preparations. I've worked hard with my team getting ready for this fight and it is my only focus. If a Title shot comes my way, I'll put in the work and prepare for it just like any other fight. I have no doubt that my shot will come, whether it's in 1, 2, or 5 fights, I'll take it as it comes." Bradley had strung together a streak of 3 first round (T)KOs entering his bout against Damian Cain. In usual fashion, 'The Grinder' was accompanied by, Pantera's, "5 Minutes Alone" during his entrance. Trace stared right through his opponent, waiting for the destruction to begin. As soon as the ref said "Fight!", Bradley launched a combo, which Cain avoided and moved inside, only to meet another jab and he was cut in the opening minutes. Bradley's was relentless with his strikes and Cain was forced to stay outside, or walk into another powerful shot. Cain looked to tie Bradley up in the clinch, but 'The Grinder' easily avoided the attempts. A minute into the round, Bradley connected to the body and saw Cain breathing heavily and smelled victory. Toying with his opponent, Bradley distracted Cain by waving his right hand in front of him and delivering a crushing left, sending him to the floor. Bradley instinctively followed his gassed opponent to the ground but immediately decided that he had an advantage on his feet and stood up. Continuing his barrage of strikes, Bradley opened Cain's cut even more and his face looked liek something straight out of a Tarentino film. 'The Grinder' knocked his opponent to the ground again, and didn't follow him to the mat, instead he waived Cain up once more. Obviously rocked, Cain looked to fight defensively and gain his composure, but a telling left dropped him a third time, this time Bradley dove in and finished his opponent, dropping bombs until the ref pulled him off. Another first round TKO, a third KotN, and a huge victory for the young phenom. Trace Bradley now boasts an impeccable 4-0-0 record, all by (T)KO, and is ranked #2 in the ROF LHW Division. He has a growing fanbase and has received recognition from 5th Round (Fightwear) and, after his impressive victory, inked a huge deal with Crown (Supplements). To say that there is a buzz around the knockout artist is an understatement. Whether, or not, he lives up to the hype remains to be seen. Only time will tell, but we could be witnessing the birth of a Superstar.
  15. The higher the Energy, the better the training. But with piss poor Morale, all the Energy in the world won't matter. Also, as the skills get higher, it takes longer to "pop". Each "Level" is actually a 10 point spread, so just because you'r not seeing pops doesn't mean that your fighter is not progressing. 90% will see results, though not as efficient as 100%. Good luck! Mike
  16. Energy and Morale affect everything, including Training. Buy him a bunch of clothes and keep changing them, this will increase your Morale. Don't train unless you're above 85% Energy (I Prefer 90%). Right now, your Morale is killing your fighter, time to go on a shopping spree. Good luck! Mike
  17. In Jules "Bad Mojo" Lacroix's debut, the Light Heavyweight looked to make a statement. Remarking pre-fight, "I don't care if he's got a Brown Belt, all I care about is his chin. There's gonna' be some Bad Mojo in that cage and he ain't gonna' know how he got hit, he's just gonna' see the overhead lights. That's the only ground game that he's gonna' be seein', that's for sure." The confident newcomer to BAC had some strong words for Hagar, who submitted his opponent in the first round of his debut. Hagar was a strong favorite, but Lacroix had faith in his preparation. There were many eyes on Lacroix, waiting for him to eat crow and lick his wounds. Others were eager to see Lacroix step up and take the victory in glorious fashion. No matter the reason, as the fighters were introduced, there was an air of anticipation about. As the fight began, Hagar looked to take the fight to the ground and Lacroix would have none of it. Picking his opponent apart with powerful strikes and solid kicks, Lacroix reveled in the roar of the crowd. Hagar was successful in his fourth takedown attempt, but Lacroix landed in guard and got standing as fast as he went down. Hagar breathed deeply as 'Bad Mojo' got him to commit with a feint, landed a solid low kick, and immediately followed it with a kick to the head, and dropped Hagar 50 seconds into the fight. Running across the mat and jumping to the top of the cage, Lacroix acknowledged the fans before returning to receive the official announcement. After the fight, the exuberant fighter said, "This is what I've been training for. I knew it, [sponsors] Malicious Intent Fight Gear and MMA's Best Nutrition knew it, and my fans knew it. This fight was not about my debut and it wasn't about making a statement, it was about giving the fans something to cheer for and a spectacular finish. Bad Mojo's here baby! Don't you forget it!" 'Bad Mojo' backed up his talk, but may have become marked in the Division as someone will surely want to shut his mouth.
  18. Nearly everything suggested in this thread would kill my legitimate Gym, except for the minimum cap. I'm a newer manager who bought a year's VIP, did my research and waited for the new City, which was opened so the newer VIPs could open their businesses. Then, a lot of the old money came in and dominated the City In any case, my business model was in place and I proceeded forward. Having to compete with the money backing my competition, I used my extra slots to create Sparring Dummies and am keeping class Sizes low. I'm diligently working, making logos, posters, writeups and such to get money to sustain my business and not raise Gym Fees. When you're trying to "fix" exploits that others have found, please think of how it will affect the people who are trying to play inside the lines. Good luck! Mike
  19. http://www.mmatycoon.com/shoppingassistant.php will help you find the supplements that you need. If you buy from the City where your Fighter is based, it will be delivered immediately. If it is from a different City, it will take 3 days to reach your Fighter and you will be charged a $5 shipping fee. Until your Physical stats are decent, there is no real need to join an Elite Gym. Definitely get your Conditioning up, as you will lose less Energy while Training and be able to fit more Training Sessions in. While Training Cardio/Weights, you can splash in some Sparring, as it only requires Sparring Partners, not Coaches. In Reference to Sparring, I posted this in another thread: Sparring gives the average rating of your sparring partners. The best way to spar is 1:1 with someone rated much higher than you, though this is easier said than done. A huge class size is good if you are rated low in the discipline, because the laws of average should assure you a higher rated average. Once you're ready to leave your Basic (Cardio/Weights) Gym, you will probably want to do some Circuit Training to work on your other Physicals. There are "Tier II/CT" Gyms that cost less than $600/week (mine costs $125/week) and provide only CT Coaches. When you Train with any Coach, CT or otherwise, it is best to get in small Classes (5 being the max). One thing to note... your Fighter must have $200 in his balance once Gym Fees are paid (Thursdays 10:55pm GMT). Once Weekly (Sundays), you can change your Training Intensity. If you set it to 'Full Time', you get your 12 Training Sessions. 'Part Time' gives your Fighter $200 and 6 Training Slots (Tue, Thu, Sat AM&PM). 'No Training' gives your Fighter $400 and No Training for the Week. Try not to Train with lower than 85% Energy (I prefer 90%). Yoga should only be trained when you have more than 95% Energy (though CT Training is more efficient). Good luck! Mike
  20. SPARdio Systems is very happy to have brought in another True 150 Elite Conditioning Coach, Cleo Reese. We are dedicated to keeping the Class Sizes small and offering quality Sparring Sessions, come join a great facility to help your Fighter grow! Good luck! Mike
  21. I have played many Management games that have Basic and Premium (VIP) features. This is the only game that I've paid for the VIP and it is absolutely worth it. The Assistant, Fight Scout Tool, Class Size Visibility, and running a Company are awesome. Before opening a company, do a lot of research and ask a lot of questions. You don't want to risk your VIP if your loan defaults. PhotoShop is the industry standard for graphic design, but it is an expensive program. There are other imaging programs out there, I use a free one called PhotoPlus 6. It has layers, like PhotoShop and requires a little knowledge to navigate, but fully functional. All of my designs are from this program Of course, you can always pay people (like myself ) to do designs. Good luck! Mike

  23. From the Wiki: Managers may determine their own loan criteria, including loan period and interest charged. No early payments are permitted - you must see out the loan as described Good luck! Mike
  24. We couldn't be happier to announce that SPAR is the Official Gym of Fightworld International! 25. Marco Sanchez's UKC debut was an unheralded undercard bout, but Sanchez did not let either factor into his gameplan. At the prefight conference, Sanchez commented, "I'm used to flying under the radar. Being dropped by my previous management turned out to be a blessing in disguise. After working with Mike, I defeated a BJJ Purple Belt and looked to reestablish myself in the sport. Then, FWI closed in Rio and I was out of a contract. My first fight in UKC isn't an easy one, Helton has some great Muay Thai and is the favorite to win. I've got some skills of my own, though, and my coaching has been sensational. I'm focused, confident, and ready to fight. I'm not going to let anything get in the way of winning this fight wherever Helton lets me take it," The first Round of the Fight was spent on the ground. Both Fighters looked to control their opponents and try to exploit any perceived weakness. While the action only seemed to come in spurts, Sanchez dominated with control and looked to his corner for advice between Rounds. The second Round saw both Fighters adjusting to each other. Sanchez started aggressively, landing some good kicks, taking the fight to the ground, and working some GnP. Helton surged as the Round progressed, stifling several of Sanchez's takedown attempts and almost locked in a submission. While Helton made a good account for himself, Sanchez looked to outscore his opponent and Helton needed to finish the Fight early. The fight remained on the ground in the third Round and Sanchez put on a ground control clinic. The fight wasn't the most exciting, but it did have its moments. Sanchez was clearly the better fighter tonight and took the well-deserved decision. Sanchez took Helton to the ground 5 times, where Helton never advanced his position or landed any strikes. With 75% of the fight being on the ground, it was Sanchez's control and flurries of GnP that gave him his second win under new management.
