  1. Hans has totally insane KO power hidden. Marko popped Granite Chin in his first fight yet he could not take a single hit to head from Hans.
  2. Well it seems like all good things end in time. Going 10-0 in general including island is great but this streak is about to end hard today. When real life is so busy you forget to adjust training and make your fighters rest properly before fights... Why do I have a feeling these fights will not go so well for my fighters
  3. Why exactly is High Land marked as KT org.? Is it not supposed to be MMA org? Having it marked as KT org. does have an effect on things such as fighter rankings. Regards, Partial Differential Equation King
  4. This is such a great idea. In fact I made a quite a few fighters just to support this org and to have some fun while watching paint dry (commonly known as project fighters training).
  5. My profile says I should be able to create 3 more fighters. I had 5 regular slots and 2 special Island slots. I went and created bunch of Island fighters. I was going to make 5 of them using 2 special Island slots and 3 regular slots. Well I managed to make 4 Island fighters and now I can not create any fighters whatsoever at all. Nada, zip, zero. Thanks in advance for taking time to fix this issue, Partial Differential Equation King
  6. Soif I am not gravely mistaken I had 5 free regular fighter slots + 2 for the Island fighters. I started creating fighters for Island with intention of making 5 of those using 3 of my regular open slots for Island plus both of the special Island fighter slots. I managed to create 4 Island fighters till game started preventing me from creating any fighters whatsoever. So yeah this is not working out as intended.
  7. I went on and made 3 of my fighters roll the dice and fight for the very first time, regardless of not being ready for it. It seems I should go and play lottery or something as not only did they all win but 2 out of 3 popped granite chin and 3rd one popped good chin (is that bad)? They are all acceptable learners but barely. In my honest opinion it does not even come down to money used doing this (it is still a factor) but horrible amount of time and waiting this would take.
  8. Just a couple of quick question regarding injuries and how to deal with these kind of situations. Our example case is a fighter who just won his fight but got injured as a result of going full 3 rounds: Insert Fighter here 10 He is injured for next 10 days He lost about 40% or more of his energy and in this case has roughly about 60% left So the main question is how to deal with this particular situation? Do injuries slow down his energy recovery? I assume he should not train and recover his energy till he is around 90% from full energy bar. Instead of just resting and losing next 10 days of training, which amounts to quite large number of training sessions, should he try to do some light training such as yoga? For example every morning session reserved for Yoga and all other sessions for resting. Any other ways to speed up his recovery? Resting and doing nothing is the only way I know of so far. Sincerely, Partial Differential Equation King
  9. Also how does this work in general? It seems money can not be transferred from outside of Island to support fighter, gyms, orgs etc., which obviously is a good thing. This being said from where does the money come from for anything in general as making good supplements, nice gym with good coaches, org with ability to pay decent wages etc. it all takes lot of money. So Island has increased energy recovery, right? Has anything else, when it comes to underlying mechanics, been tweaked? For example can 18 years old fighters close the skill cap, when compared to 25 year old fighters, in available time frame? Does their ability to learn faster really come into play?
  10. Do we get extra fighter slot just for the Island or does it come out of our current slots (do I have to sack two of my current fighters as I dont have any vacant slots)?
  11. That's a wonderful thread to read for person like me. To be honest it helped me a lot. Following your guidance I sacked bunch of fighter with below 6.0 LSP and kept few, which are below in order to learn how such fighter are to be managed. Then I went and filled vacant slots with new fighters using improved learning speed hidden (or whatever it is called). I'll use these fighter I have now to learn things like training, sliders and so on. Maybe some will do well. It is well past 370k now so like your thread indicated my fighters are also somewhat behind from get to go. It is nowhere near 380k yet so might as well use these fighters to train, fight and learn the system.
  12. Followed by his wonderful ToT from his very first fight: Decent Wrestler, Brawler, Tends to Cut I wanted to give Such a Slow Learner a chance but now I see he really wont make it as he has zero talent. I suppose it really is best to push every single fighter to fight once ASAP.
  13. Maximum skill points are 150 so following should work: X*150/100=LSP X= % of progress from skill snapshots (for example 3,6 from <td width="3.6%" background="images/barred.jpg">&nbsp;</td>, 150 being max skill points and divided by 100 to get the actual number of points. As far as the commentary part after actual numbers go all of it is pure speculation as I would have keep rolling new fighters way too many times to get even close to figuring out exact break off points. Also like you wrote 7,35 does not give ++ but only +. My bad. It is the same with 5,0, as I think 5,0 or little over it could give +, but I do not know for sure. I was wondering about that as it stood out a little bit too much so I already retested this number. This fighter went from hero to zero really fast. So from supposed LSP of 11.7 to 4,8. I checked other numbers too just to be sure and those stand, other than me using 7,35 twice when randomizing the numbers. So only one 7,35 and the other one should be my fighter Such A Slow Learner and his 4,8 learning speed. I did not know this so thanks for the information. Lucky me I did not use transitions when doing any of my testing. I do wonder why transitions train faster and what is the logic behind that. Well that's a little bit hard piece of information to swallow. When doing my testing I did sack a good number of fighters. Even after that, I only managed to land fistfull of LSP > 6,0 type of fighters. Maybe I should think about my stance on not taking fast learner hidden. While in theory it does not make that much sense to pick fast learner, reality is getting high enough LSP is kind of difficult so any boost could be of value. I'll sack 5 of them and makes new ones with fast learner hidden. Lets see how that go. Rest get to fight once.
  14. I made an account here a good while ago but with Covid related changes in society impacting my life, I ended up not having time to log in. Now I am back for good and still a new player as I have grand total of one (test) fight under my manager belt. I did some research on subject of learning speed and then made 15 fighters. I used following data points when creating my fighters. For the most part ticking fast learner hidden is of no use. You only need patience combined with average to slightly above average learning speed. In the end other hiddens are more important. Anything, which goes from Useless, 1 (0)-- to Useless, 1 (0)+ after 1 training session (of 1 on 1 training with very good coach) , is good enough to keep. Other than that sack the fighter as he is painfully slow learner. There is a limit to patience. Also such fighter is unlikely to make it far in general. Learning speed can be estimated by simple math or using relevant GreaseMonkey script (link found on this forum). So with these things in mind I went and created 15 fighters. Initial results were not too encouraging. I managed to land several from Useless, 1 (0)-- to Useless, 1 (0)- type of fighters. I sacked every single one, that did not make it to at least Useless, 1 (0)+ using VIP days and created bunch of new ones. At this point I decided to stop and go with whatever I end up getting as sacking all the hopelessly slow fighters ended up costing quite a lot of VIP days. All sacked fighter had learning speed of below 5. Mostly something in between 4 and 4,8. I kept everything above 5,0 Here are the results in randomized order: 4,05 5,4 5,55 6,3 6,3 5,4 7,35 3,9 5,4 5,7 5,7 6,3 11,7 5,4 7,35 3,9 guy went from Useless, 1 (0)-- to Useless, 1 (0)- and 11,7 guy went from Useless, 1 (0)-- to Abysmal, 2 (0) -- It would seem that you need over 5,0 to get to as 5,4 still gives Useless, 1 (0)+ and to get Useless, 1 (0)++ you need more than 6,3 as 6,3 still gives Useless, 1 (0)+. Anything above 7 gives you Useless, 1 (0)++. Getting to Abysmal, 2 (0) -- or more (is that even possible?) seems to require you to win in learning speed lottery and even then you can end up with other bad hiddens. so Useless, 1 (0)+ can be good as 6,3 still gives you Useless, 1 (0)+. Useless, 1 (0)++ is then obviously flat out very good. Which gives me learning speed based spread of: Better luck next time type of fighters: 2 Really not that good. You do need patience with this type of fighters: 5 This is manageable learning speed and decent type of fighters: 5 Crazy fast learning type of fighters: 2 On league of his own when it comes to learning speed type of fighter (most likely close to max): 1 Here is the question: Is the method I used to find learning speed correct or did I just make up a huge mess? Should I just keep all of these fighters just for the fun of it and see how it goes? I do mean even the 3,9 learning speed one. After all I do not know other hiddens of these fighters yet. Maybe 3,9 guys has some other things going on for himself. Not that any of that will help him as he is that slow but it could be interesting to make comparison on how his training goes in relation to these other fighters of mine. Sincerely, Partial Differential Equation King
  15. It really is weird and I can not figure it out since I did not buy it and instead of that started a fresh new company: 01 Apr, 2020 Wednesday - Started a new Premium Gym - Icon Sport Laboratories I suppose I'll just clean those post manually after a day or two..
  16. Thanks you but not really. Since I decided to play this game, I also decided to support it and found the best way to do that to be this https://www.mmatycoon.com/vipexchange.php I took a little time to look at the list and searched for something well over average rate of $333,333 per month. I found two deals worth over $400,000 and took those. One of the deals was well over 400,000. Not that I even know if 5 mill is a lot here or not and top of that I'll just end up wasting some of it since I have absolutely no clue about anything related to this game yet.
  17. Whats the deal with all those 16 year old free agents? Creating those is not exactly free. I suppose all of them ended up with weak learning speed and as such got sacked, right?
  18. Thank you everyone for your advice and help. I got the gym upkeep budget fixed now. Turns out I was paying too much attention something else and kept hitting the submit button instead of update. Now here is the something else I kept staring at: https://imgur.com/bI7fUou Would have posted a screenshot here but this forums seems to refuse most of the image extensions. Question is: Why does my gym newsfeed have messages/news, which have not been made by me? Are these some leftover data from game database or something? Some of the earliest messages are even older than my gym and my account in general such as (quick copy paste): 02 Apr 20 - Training session 02 Apr 20 - Conditioning Coaches now available!! 02 Apr 20 - 01 Apr 20 - Sparring partners 01 Apr 20 - TBA 01 Apr 20 - Prosper Training Now Open 01 Apr 20 - Chill out train win 01 Apr 20 - Chill out train win 30 Mar 20 - Grand opening! 29 Mar 20 - Sitsongrit camp has two fighters among top ten BW in the world. 29 Mar 20 - NO INVITATIONS 29 Mar 20 - Private Gym - Not Accepting Newbies 23 Mar 20 - Gym Fee Hey everybody. Thanks for joining our new gym. For our first week of business, gym fees will be $500/week. On April 01, 2020, we're going to raise our price to $1,000/week as our permanent operating price. Train hard ------------------------- That same picture of my gym also has the following: Fighters per coach : no coaches While my gym management page has this: Number of coaches: 9 Just few things I noticed while tweaking my gym. 19. aannnd here is another one: Why does this forum not use my actual manager name?
  20. Hi, Recently I found myself to be in position of needing to kill some time, largely due to this global pandemic and associated lockdown and quarantine. I googled for some manager type of games and found this one. I took a look, read forums, site called mmatycoon info and in general tried to figure things out and what to do. I bought VIP, used some of that to get money and to get myself going. Mistakes I have done so far: New fighter creation: I made bunch of fighters. Apparently you are supposed to spike a single primary skill when creating fighters. I started with even spread on every single one. I suppose this is a case of live and learn. On positive side I can now make anything out of these fighters be it kickboxers, dirty boxers, gnp guys or arte suave wanna be bjj stars. I made bunch of 18 years old fighters. Apparently you don't make 18 years old fighter to fight but only train those for a while prior to actually competing. Maybe this one is not that bad as there seems to be a new fresh thing called 360+ ID and joining some ID restricted org seems to be an option. As a side note joining now seems to be a case of good timing due to this 360+ ID thing. Not picking the fast learner hidden. If I am not gravely mistaken, most of my fighters seem to be very slow learners (more about that later). Fast learning seems to be important and also seems to be difficult stat to get without picking the fast learner hidden. Now to actual questions: What actually makes a fighter a fast learner? I did the test learning test as instructed on another thread and most of mine were around 4 after first training session. I suppose that is low. Couple are slightly over 5 and the best one is 7.25. So if 4 is low is 7 supposed to be high? after doing the learning speed test I got these numbers and data but I just don't know what any of it stands for. Which of the two is more important for a ground fighter: agility or flexibility? I read bunch of old threads and found some information. Unfortunately some of it was rather conflicting information and all of it quite old. From what I have read spd and str are rather important. On average how long does it take for 18 years old fighter to catch up to a fighter created at age of 25? I checked few of those so called 360+ ID orgs and noticed quite a few freshly created 25 year old fighters. Since there will be opponents like that, which started with total skill points advantage, how long should one train his 18 years olds newbies to have a fair chance when facing such opponents? How do you actually update your gym fees and upkeep budget? When I increase both upkeep budget and gym fees or just one of the two and fill the latest news fields (both topic and message body) and press submit- nothing happens. Both my upkeep budget and gym fees just refuse to update. Am I doing something wrong? Can I not do any of the two in middle of week and should it be done on specific weekday like start of the week for example? How big of a difference does training 1 to 1 training do in reality opposed to 2 to 1 and 3 to 1 ratio? I have some of my fighters training private sessions with my coaches with 1 coach per 1 fighter ratio. Again from what I have read that seems to be the thing to do. This being said I have to ask if it is a silly thing to do? I could easily do sessions of 2 or 3 fighters per one coach and class. I do wonder if there an actual meaningful difference between having private classes and 2-3 person group classes in the long run? Is there some kind of skill cap and if so what is it? Can you make/train perfect fighters with everything maxed out or is there some kind of skill cap in form of maximum possible total skills points one can achieve to keep things bit more "realistic"? If there is such a skill cap, then exactly how many total points is it? This is all I have to ask for now. I am still getting lost in the user interface and have yet to even try all of the features of this game so I'll be back Thanks in advance, PDE-King
