    A 369K fighting a 371K is not the same as a 370K fighting a 372K.

    Make fighter creation date visible on the profile, searchable etc. and you can run Island whenever you want.

    Yes it would hurt 370K orgs as Island always does by reducing the finite pool of recruitable fighters for the id range. Only way to not do that would be to wait until late in the current id range.. but going down that route would mean irregular timing for Island seasons with sometimes long waits for those who enjoy that part of the game. So pick your poison. Or add creation date :)

    5K fighters are plenty enough for several orgs to do well on. The problem with Island taking out a number of them is not the amount in itself. It is the appearance of larger id gaps that is created when done early in the range. Say we are at 372999, then throw the whole 373K range into a black hole (the island). The next fighter created 374000 is now identical to 372999 in terms of training time despite a 1K id difference. But this difference is not transparent to players so for most creating new fighters will always be less attractive the later in the range the current id is.
