Paul Harris is trained by Murilo Bustamante. In his fight against noted quick tapper and douche Matt Lindland, Lindland of course tried to quick tap. Bustamante let go of the submission. He eventually caught Lindland again, though. Bustamante teaches his students to hold onto submissions until slightly after the ref grabs them to ensure that they aren't dicked over by assholes like Lindland who try to cheat to win. Is it 100% right? Of course not. But if cheaters like Lindland didn't exist, this problem wouldn't exist. Look how Sonnen tried to use it when he tapped against Silva (he used a quick tap against Paulo Filho in the past as well). If Josh hadn't seen Sonnen tap, he'd of wrongfully won the belt from Silva. So it sucks that this kind of thing happens in the sport, but there is a clear reason for it when cheaters still try and game the rules.

You do know the backstory to all of this, right? I hope you do know it before you just start bashing Paul Harris. What he does is a bit wrong, but there is a clear reason for it.

Good luck with it all, Mike. Trust me, I appreciate you dealing with this. It's just something that I think a lot of people are pissed about since we paid good money for our VIPs only to see them being f'd with by a few jerks who try and game the system. If it was fake money, I doubt a lot of people would care as much but when real money is on the line, it becomes a bit different. He should be straight up banned. The Superfights in Tokyo is giving out contracts with 10-20K signing bonuses for scrubs. You can't even sign dudes who should be getting 1/1/1 deals right now since all they do is sign with Superfights for massive contracts. I was thinking of shutting down my org for some time now due to this bullshit.
