personally a member of the UOC forum boards, have to say you can't go wrong with a partnership with that fighting org. You're sure to have plenty of talent rolling in for sponsorships.

ah ok thanks for clarifying,

I would think something along the lines of technique+str(or other variables of your choice depending on which technique chosen e.g. punch, kick, subs) vs technique+stat

The only hiccups I see with this is the need for chance variables to be added to the fights in order to give a sense of realism with getting caught with a punch/subs etc. If thats what you're going for anyway.

But if you use a tiered system, doesn't that benefit people who placed more emphasis on a few skills that are higher tiered than those who have simply made a balanced character?
