  1. praise the lord i've been building my fighter's Wrestling skills up over all other primaries for the past couple years. by the sounds of things there should be some returns on that investment, looking forward to finding out.
  2. Aggressive Damage, Montreal is now recruiting the best 16 fighters we can find for our Openweight Grand Prix Tournament to commence on a yet to be determined date in April. Prizes have been jacked to include, 6 months VIP membership, $500,000 in-game cash and a once in a lifetime shot at the P4P most popular fighter on the planet, Harold Howard. Contracts will be for 4 fights at 10/10/10k and those who bow out of the tourney early can finish out the deal (or extend) at their weightclass of choice and if that doesn’t work for you, seek outright release. PM Cause or Johnny through the org page to get the contract sent and best of luck to all who get involved in what's certain to be our best tournament yet. Visit Aggressive Damage
  3. Aggressive Damage, Montreal, currently #14 in the world. Best reason to support us is we haven't had to rely on gimmicks to get there, so our fighters' records don't revolve around facing the same 3-5 guys over and over, ad nauseum. Check us out for some of the best action mmatycoon has to offer: http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgpublic.php?oid=2992
  4. talk about throwing a wrench in the plans, the Diego Sanchez/Ray Guida slugfest ending in a Draw did us no favours. fortunately, we had one spot remaining at AD67: Greatest Show on Earth that happens to fall right in between rds. 1 and 2, so the winner (THERE BETTER BE ONE) will have time to recover for the Quarters. Here's how things shape up for that one: Aldo Division Don Hall vs D. Sanchez/R. Guida winner Faber Division Jose Sanchez vs Peppy MacDonald Pulver Division Davi Alves vs Will Banks Swanson Division Rafael dos Santos vs Ballard Magnar congratulations to all our round of 16 winners, most were hard fought and well earned!
  5. all fights have been agreed to, brackets are now official and unlike many other orgs, AD always uses locked ones, not flexibles with every round based on hype/pop. Our truth is, it's tough enough for an underdog to make it to the finals with this format, virtually impossible when they're facing the toughest foe every round. This tourney features many competitive matches in the round of 16 with only a couple set to be lopsided at our designated bookies, which should make for some intense wagering. So without further yada, here we go- Aldo Division Don Hall vs Shea Savargo Diego Sanchez vs Ray Guida Faber Division Jose Sanchez vs Sweeney Todd John Mott vs Peppu Reiska MacDonald Pulver Division Davi Alves vs Mickey Knox Will Banks vs Gar Logan Swanson Division Mister Spock vs Rafael dos Santos Rico Riccio vs Ballard Magnar Aldo vs Faber / Pulver vs Swanson in what should be a coinflip Semifinals, with the Quarters likely offering mostly toss-ups as well. Stoked? hell ya, and it all gets started on the 29th with AD64: New Division Collision. Be there!
  6. thanks to all for their interest, the tourney is officially full. we're still very interested in bringing some top 145'ers into the fold to provide our eventual champ with fresh opponents and be on standby should one of our GP managers falter. send message with terms when able, look for contract shortly after.
  7. only one spot left... plus we could use an alternate at any time after the brackets are set.
  8. not much room left and a few bigger names have come on board so if you've been hesitating; stop it and shoot us his ID number for your shot at 6 months VIP... on the house.
  9. As we approach the final push to get all 16 slots locked up for our fast approaching tournament, we should let it be known off the bat that there's 6 months VIP going to our winning manager! That's on top of earning our inaugural FW belt and all the hype/pop that'll come with it. Runner up gets 100k of in game cash and all fighters involved will see invites to the Aggressive Damage Dojo, the ultra-low cap environment for all your training needs (link below). http://www.mmatycoon.com/gympublic.php?gmid=990 So please don't delay any further in letting us know about your fighter so we can get him signed up. We're giving Montreal area fighters 5k/5k/5k, 4 fight contracts while out of towners get an extra 5k signing bonus for travel/relocation fees. All are welcome to apply, with the top 16 getting into the tourney and the remainder adopting the role of alternate. First round kicks off Spetember 29th, with cut-off for sign-ups now being the 22nd. We look forward to seeing your fighter become a part of this certain extravaganza, sooner rather than later!
  10. on that last note, for those interested in locking up their shot in the 6 mos. VIP FW Grand Prix, we have full details in a seperate thread found at the General section- http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=32354
  11. AD58: Black Eyed Knees preview: The serious fight fanatics will be flocking to the Expo tonight to take in whats guaranteed to be another compelling card brought to you by Aggressive Damage, Montreal. We may have slipped to #3 since our last event brought us to the top but we have every intention of continuing to provide honest and consistent competition for the established orgs who've ruled the roost here in Canada for years now. Headlining this dynamic dust-up is a Welterweight title affair between current Champ, Tony Parts (17-6) and former belt holder, Pablo Santos (20-12), who's indicated he has every intention of reclaiming his post as the baddest 170 lb'er in the fold. Since losing the title in a shocker to the unassuming Per Saukko, Santos has strung together a couple of impressive wins, with his submission over the ultra popular Ted Grant being a big feather in his cap. Tony Parts may have lost to Grant shortly after signing on with us but has steamrolled every other fighter he's faced since, including Saukko for the title and let it be known at a recent press conference he believes Santos can't hang with his advanced skill set. This one has all the makings of Fight of the Night and possibly year, jacking up our fans' expectations through the roof! Setting the table for that brutal beauty is a HW eliminator between two up & comers from Europe who both guaranteed themselves Knock out of the Night bonuses at AD58. Vitali Klitschko (12-4) and Killian McDougle (7-2) are not friends, as we witnessed in their previous bout when they refused to acknowledge each other after McDougle out worked him in the clinch to earn a decision victory. Klitschko will either have to keep his distance this time around or formulate a better gameplan when they lock up because it was blatantly apparent his clinchwork was not on McDougle's level. As the only fighter the burly Irishman has not KO'd amongst his 7 wins, McDougle's had his angry face on since the rematch was signed. A number of intrepid pundits are saying this one's gonna have more fireworks than the 4th of July in Boston and we tend to agree with that assessment, no judges required this time. Superheavyweights Johnny Knox (20-12) and Slade Wilson (20-10) have both had some ups and downs since participating in our ultra-compelling Openweight Grand Prix, with Wilson seeing more success but not enough to term his opponent easy pickens. On the contrary, we see Knox giving him all he can handle on the feet and providing one of Slade's toughest tests to date. With 27 finishes between them, it leaves most believing well witness either a KO from Knox or sub from the blackbelted Wilson should he be able to get this one to the mat. We hear Carly Simon's Anticipation as the theme song leading up to this ubermatchup. Previous to that well witness another HW eliminator between two cagey veterans in Fresh Crimson (18-19) and Tone Cross (17-16). Both guys show up to finish, with only 5 of their 35 combined wins coming via decision and have won over many fans as a result, myself included. Currently heading in opposite directions, with Crimson having dropped his last couple and Cross winning the previous 2, this one packs more don't blink intrigue than a NASA probe's fly by the rings of Saturn! Moving down to our action packed Lightweight division, John Connor (23-12) tries to knudge his way towards another title shot at the expense of all-rounder, Tommy Avila (17-6-2). Having won one/lost one since being KOd by the seemingly indomitable David Cross, this could be Connors best chance to get back in the hunt. Avillas taken on all comers since his debut with us (a KO loss to Connor) but continues to showcase his martial talents while building momentum and credibilty as a future force in the division. The bottom half of the card sees the power punching former SFO champ, Frank Sigurdsson (16-9) try to gain some traction in our HW division by taking out Chris Vaughn (10-10), whos had a rough ride with us but seems completely unfazed by the negative results, only determined to improve so he can start kicking ass. Moving down a division, its a BJJ vs. MT battle as Brazilian Bobby (5-5) takes on Jimmy Dunham (5-3), with no need for us to tell you wholl be looking for the submissions. Back up to HW just prior for Maximus M. (8-1) vrs. Ivan D. (1-0), which appears to be a massive mismatch based on records but not on creation dates; if Ivans put all that extra training time to good use and possesses solid hiddens, we might be in for a surprise. Kicking off this stupendous night of coinflips, we have two Welterweight tilts, starting with longtime AD stalwart Gunmetal Grey (18-17-1) facing the now notoriously streaky Steve Fighter (16-9-1), whos currently lost 4 after winning 4. Those in the know are scratching their heads over whos going to come out on top here and with two respected veteran Montreal presences in Grey and Fighter, this ones gonna pack em in early. Proceeding this highly anticipated bout we get Finnish fighter Kalle Anka (5-3) who showed very well with us until stepping up in competition, staring down Chris Cole (1-2), whos still a spring chicken who may need some more seasoning before hes able to best the likes of Anka. Yeeehaw, this ones gonna be buzzin like a bandsaw- so getcher tickets, poutine and beer, well be seein you all at the Expo tonight!! For those wondering where the predictions are, head on over to the Official org Bookie to find out whos the favourites (we put our money where our mouth is) and slap down some cash on the ones we got wrong. Your link to A Good Cause Last but not least, our certain to be spectacular, 6 months VIP to the winner, Featherweight Grand Prix is approaching half full so if you have a pending FA who can make 145 and would be ready to fight for us on September 29th, be sure and pm the headzup so we can bring him on board. Thanks to all for your time, efforts and/or considerations- until next time, keep it Aggressive!
  12. took me awhile to figure that out but voila~ your wish is our command.
  13. appreciate the shout outs, guys, although unlikely to remain on top for long, we've definitely become a force thanks to our great managers and consistent work ethic. btw, we've got two more fighters i haven't yet added to the list yet which puts us at a 1/4 of the way there. if you don't have an available FW, dump a stiff and pull one out of the FA pool!
  14. Confirmed entrants/alternate(s) for the AD FW GP: 1. Mister Spock, 12-3-2 2. Will Banks 17-9-1 3. Jose Sanchez 12-7 4. Peppy MacDonald 12-4 5. Mickey Knox 12-13 6. Gar Logan 0-0 7. Diego Sanchez 10-4 8. Sweeney Todd 12-10 9. Shea Savargo 3-1 10. Ballard Magnar 4-3 11. John Mott 15-8-1 12. Don Hall 23-11 13. Ray Guida 8-6-1 14. Douglas Wellington 3-2 15. Davi Alves 20-9 16.
  15. would be nice if the sim could determine who's doing the latter and only match them up against each other. those 0-36 preeners are a blight on an otherwise lovely landscape.
  16. Following in the footsteps of our resoundingly successful SHW tournament, the good folks at Aggressive Damage are amped to announce we're now accepting entrants to our 16 man Featherweight Grand Prix. 6 MONTHS VIP TO THE WINNER, in case you missed it, plus a pudgy, 100k bonus of in-game cash for the runner-up. We'll also be inviting all participants to train at the ultra-low cap Aggressive Damage Dojo in beautiful downtown Montreal for the duration of the tourney so there's no need for those in other cities to book flights to and fro, bro. With our inaugural SHW champ's manager, Chris Partridge able to say; "get AD, it pays", we anticipate a deluge of interest in this mega-meltdown. Don't sleep or you'll weep- the entry window will be closing on September 18th with the first round set to kick-off 11 days later, on the 29th. We'll also need to determine an alternate or two, based on who draws the short end of the stick in the hype/pop counts and have them ready to step in should someone falter. pm Cause via the bottom of our org page with your fighter's ID number and we'll get his name on a 5k/5k/5k contract asap. Lightweights able to shed the pounds and Bantamweights willing to step up in weight are also most welcome; may the best man win!
  17. other than getting swarmed by the over-sized Griffen, he's looked good in all his fights since losing the title to Silva.
  18. although i've been a big fan of his, Boetsch has has had one good round in his past 2 fights and unless he gets back his 'seek & destroy' mentality, the Spider would pick him apart fast. Stann would stand a puncher's chance but needs more fluidity to his form in order to evade Silva's precision strikes. Bisping's only chance would be to tap and run with hopes the Champ breaks his ankle chasing him around in rd. 4, allowing pillowhands to swoop in for the easy takedown and GnP finish. in terms of overall game, Belcher's the most deserving of the lot but for some reason got caught up picking fights with fellow contenders and taken himself out of the picture. of all his attributes, the one that's impressed the most is is heart- really tough nut to crack and that's one of those heaven given things they can't teach you at the gym.
  19. i believe Weidman's done a fantastic job of putting himself in position for next, both inside and out of the octagon. although the knee-jerk reaction is to brush him off as too inexperienced to take on such a legend, he has demonstrated the exact skill-set needed to dethrone the champ; good chin, phenomenal takedowns and brutal ground and pound. although we haven't seen him against a BJJ ace, working with Serra & Longo, you have to believe Chris has been schooled in avoiding submissions. all that said, he's likely to get smoked in round 1 but of all the candidates outside of Alan Belcher (already booked), he's demonstrated the best game out there at MW. would love to see Rich Franklin work his way back into the mix and by the time he's up for a shot, maybe Silva's at LHW or retired.
  20. thanks a lot for being on point, and as importantly- whew!
  21. my fighter Mr. Spock (114358) had his energy go to 100% even though he's been training at my gym. with a match scheduled for NYC tonight and thinking he had a private jet booked, i wrongfully assumed he had a great flight that saw all his energy return. believed it so strongly i went to their Highstreet and signed him into a conditioning gym to get a couple extra sessions in before the fight. then i notice this morning his energy's still 100, commence that sinking feeling, as sure enough, he's still in Montreal and for some misconceived system reason, unable to book a conventional flight for today in order to show. since i've never been responsible for a NC since signing up here 3 or so years ago, it would be a damn shame for this strange sequence of events to break that sterling record. i've reported in the past 2 of my fighters miraculously showing up in New York even though i did not book flights for them and got no email confirmation they'd made it there. perhaps someone on the backend could work it so he gets there before 6 pm EST, July 28 and save the day for all involved. thanks for any help.
  22. brackets are full and the enrollment wicket has now closed. Aggressive Damage, Montreal, thanks the tycoon community for their support and we're looking forward to a spectacular tournament with the plethora of beasts who've signed on.
  23. please visit the 265+ division at the bottom of the page below to see a list of fighters participating- http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgfighterlistpublic.php?oid=2992 currently 7 spots remaining but i assure you a number of those will be claimed over the course of the next couple days so if anyone's interested in getting involved, pls pm me now.
