  1. I don't know if using ground and pound makes you more injury prone, however I only have only one ground and pound fighter, and for about 3 fights in a row(Don't remember the other two) hes came out injured for 15/16 days and in one of them he was never hit not even once but still had a 16 day injury.I like to joke around and make up excuses say he must have broke his hand punching the other guy's head.He is easily my biggest injury prone fighter.

  2. I don't think 50-150$ more depending on the price would stop people from buying them so much.Personally myself I'd still buy MMA's best Nutrition or Non-stop but all my fighters are in Vegas anyway so wouldn't apply to me,but with maybe a 50 dollar price tag for 130 quality like JKStar's with the shipping fee added it might consider those more on a budget to go for JKStar's.For the shipping fee when buying for more then one fighter, maybe it could be set to pay the fee only once a day only when you buy that one product, and after that the rest for that day doesn't apply until the day ends.

Of course some people will be alienated at the start since no knowing which of their local supplemental companies are good or not. There doesn't seem to be much of an easy solution unfortunately :( but I think overall it should be done and I don't own a supplemental company myself so I'm just saying it as someone looking from the outside.

  3. You have a good point there Matty,it really seems like a tough problem with no easy fix in the matter but I think Nutrition companies need to be able to compete better.I think the best fix in the matter for now though seems like the shipping fee being put into place. It'll encourage most newer and poorer users to buy homegrown but as their fighters get better and able to get better contracts they'll be able to able to afford getting supplements shiped to them if they feel that the best supplements in their city aren't meeting their needs.Just not too much a new supplemental company can do in order to be successful when you have the best supplement companies like nonstop or mma's nutrition already near the top, and only getting bigger/more money.Tycoon I think already said something about a shipping fee coming, maybe this thread will bump it up in priority slightly :P.

Maybe only 50-150$ as a shipping fee but not enough to stop most people that were already buying them to keep buying them.

Nutrition companies just seem like the least desirable of the four current possible companies to have.

Fight orgs - They'll always be more fighters with more new people joining the game

Gyms - ^ With more new fighters people will need more gyms

Clothing - Really more about what looks cool for the most part so photoshoping skills/cool looking pictures do well here so it seems more about creativity.

Nutritional - As talked about before, why not just buy the best without any incentive to buy the rest at least when looking worldwide.

It cost money to move fighters or to visit a different city,so in that sense also seems fair for a cost to get supplements shipped towards you, even clothing to a lesser degree.

  4. It's tough for struggling supplemental companies I would imagine. If you can buy worldwide without any fee, why not just buy the best from the few people that can compete against each other instead of buying from those 60 other supplemental company.Maybe a shiping fee of like 50$ or 100$ being put in place soon could help those companies and encourage people to buy homemade although its unlikely to make a big difference

Just to help make the point across, I wouldn't buy from you guys! :P Take no offense to it but if I can just buy the best without any kind of extra fee then might as well buy from the top 5 supplemental companies.

Nutritional companies seem to be the absolute worst thing to go into at the moment, just seems like limited options for competing against more well known known that already have their brand out. With the shipping fee put into place it might encourage more, mostly people on a budget to look at homegrown.I don't think it would harm the top companies

  5. I think it'd probably be fine morally as long as you really are the number one contender.I saw some orgs which shall stay nameless put all of their fighters up for a title shot on their debut show which in a way would be kinda wrong but yeah if you really are the number one contender then I don't think its that much of a problem at all.

  6. It wasn't about that exactly its just there to help the point I was trying to make across,it was about making a way to better compete with the 152 cardio supplement. From what you quoted of me before the first time it was me quoting someone else for their reasons listed for it being made with me asserting it was made for competition in a sarcastic way.I'm not so sure if without the 152 cardio supplement we would even be seeing a 156 cardio supplement or at least not this soon most likely.I was just pointing it was made for competition rather then the reasons listed that I quoted that you quoted me on, that I quoted you on ,that you quoted me on again :P.Just to say it once again, competition is totally fine its not a negative thing, except for the supplemental companies,so please don't take it as an attack on either and in the end the consumer wins :D.

  7. I'm sorry, but this is funny. NSN started 150+ products. 152 stuff came out to compete with them, not the other way around. 156 just had to be done because you don't throw rocks at the throne.

Of course 152 was made to compete, and 156 was made to compete again.Competition is good overall, better products for the consumers :D.

  8. Rollins said he'd be working on something awesome even before that.

The July the 4th sale was the first mention it,word of the 152 cardio supplement was already out by then and on sale so it wasn't before that. The timing just seems too much of a coincidence for it to be just trying to bring out a new product and looks like it was brought out just to compete, besides why cardio?I suppose theres a 33% chance with the good supplements being recovery, strength and cardio but it was cardio to compete with something that came out that was better, not that theres anything wrong with that its perfectly fine and its a smart business move.

  9. He just trumped his own Stamina product because he wanted his guys to gain cardio as fast as possible.

NSN put out a 156 BECAUSE people have trusted his products and backed him when he was putting out 150's.

It doesn't have anything to do with someone else putting a better cardio supplement on the market does it?.Just seems a little odd it comes out a couple days after someone makes a better supplement, probably just purely a coincidence I bet.

Funnel the money from one business to another?

You have mentioned funneling for about the 3rd time so far in less then 24 hours, its almost as if you're wanting someone to ask what you mean by that .Never knew the competition for supplements were so fierce.

  10. To be picky: Kimbo vs Colossus was the most watched match in U.S. history.

Anderson Silva does not belong on the list of big draws.

Good point, is and was the most watched in U.S. history, can't say for Japan as I really have no clue what sort of ratings they did for stuff like Dream or Pride.

Anderson Silva despite being p4p one of the best is kinda on the lower side of draws and for Lyoto Machida its probably still too early to tell.

  11. I could of swore that Kimbo set attendance records in MMA.

I don't know about attendance records, but he does have the most watched MMA match in history so he does have a good case for being a big draw. His fight with James Thompson set records but it was also because CBS is a much bigger network then Spiketv on cable/satellite but still a record.

  12. I'm on Tokyo Pharmaceuticals personally with Stevia Shake for recovery since its at such a cheap price for such a high quality. For all my other needs lately I've been using MMA's Best Nutrition, but recently Non-Stop made a 156 cardio supplement tonight,I guess to compete with the 152 gimmick but I already stocked up on a good bit of the 152 stuff and its only 4 more quality for 25 dollars more so not too big of a deal but might consider them next time when I need some more but for strength best nutrition released a 152 so I'll probably get theirs for strength since its cheaper and more quality.

  13. In a possible idea for vip organizations, could make TV Managers or networks to run MMA Shows, although in real life I suppose you wouldn't have 8 different channels with all this MMA progarming but its an idea.TV Stations could bid on promotions and high ratings mixed in with advertisement maybe worked in with clothing companies or supplements as advertisers paying for time slots to get hype from the event would be their source of income or possibly have some mma organizations paying for their timeslot which I think the IFL might have done.Probably way too complicated though and if it did come it would be far away

  14. Like most people I'd go with Brock Lesnar with only 3 fights with the UFC promoting him seems to be the biggest draw currently and at the moment on an average probably higher then anyone else.

Tito Oritz was a big draw, his second fight with Chuck had the record for most buys at one point but I think Couture vs. Lesnar might have broke it, or came up just a little short. His feud with Ken Shamrock despite not being that competitive scored big ratings and I believe made TUF 3 the highest rated TUF and his match with Shamrock at a fight night also scored big ratings too I believe.

  15. I dunno much about him or his org and personally haven't had any experiences with him myself, but I've heard some bad things about him and seems like almost weekly hes posting something on the front page for fight org news yelling at some manager over a fighter's contract dispute, just seems like a common thing for him to be using the fight org news just to rant on so and so
