  1. Nah. I don't care anymore. I don't think anything you posted puts you in a better light. I didn't nerd rage over the loss. I nerd raged cuz you knew the circumstances and still pulled the shit you did. Its still bullshit. And sumthing I didn't expect you to pull. But I guess I should have with your tracc record of throwing me under the bus to save yourself. That's why I'm quitting. The top level of this game is all bullshit politics and shady behavior. I think the fact that you cheated and constantly try to defend yourself and "piss excellence" in the forums cuz you can't really in the game makes you way more nerdcore.

I take a lota pride in knowing you'd rather cheat than lose another fair fight to me. Guess your record against me finally got the best of you.

  2. Well the first thing Chris messaged me after the fight wuz : "You should have never accepted a 10 min rd fight. It favors the grappler."

Which I feel wuz a pretty shitty comment to lead off with when he knows full well I didn't get to accept it cuz Mike manually set and confirmed it. And we never talked about it being a completely different rd time than any other fight on the card. Which frum my experience is unheard of in every org I've ever fought in. Has there ever been an event before that didnt have uniform rd/mins across all fights? It's made all the more a douchey manuever wen I took the fight on short notice cuz I heard he wuz having trouble finding a legitamate contender for Stone, just to make sure Syn didn't have a shitty show.

  3. Alright Chris I'm sorry but I have to call bullshit. I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't said anything, but why wuz our fight: Jamal Quik v. Ben Stone the only fight on the entire card with 10 minute rounds? Every other fight wuz the standard 5 min. That's shady man. And no I didn't think to make sure cuz I really thought we were better friends than that. I didn't even kno it wuz possible to make one fight on the card a completely different time than the rest.

I should at least get the bonus money for knoccing off a convicted Guy since you rigged the rounds in your favor.

Edit: And before anyone says "Oh you accepted the fight you shoulda paid attention."

No actually I didn't accept it. Chris said he couldn't get it to set the fight up so he had Mike manually add it to the card. Wen I logged in Jamal had his fight confirmed.

  5. Yes Hendricks definitely needs to be more spectacular. He needs to start knoccing out multiple Top 10 opponents who've never been ko'ed in a combined total of 20 seconds or less. Under a combined minute is already sumthing Diaz duz ALL the time....

Remind me wen he did that again?

I'm sure the money is a fine curtain to hide behind. I luv GSP, but he ducced Bigg Rigg. I'm not saying Johnny for sure wins. But he's def more of a threat than Diaz. If anything I would have luved to see Diaz/Hendricks. But as Brain said, in a div stacced with wrestlers, sumhow Diaz evades them all for a strap shot.

And actually Dana didn't say Johnny wuz #1 contender, but he did say kampmann/Hendricks wuz a contender match.

  6. And I doubt any of that will keep me frum holding onto a spar whore indefinitely. No fights no injuries. Chin duznt matter in primarily sparring. And with how much people cry I doubt skill decline will ever be to the point that I can't keep one primary and all needed secondaries high enuff for 5 star sparring.

  7. You can remove fighters from the game without randomly killing professional athletes you know.

    Ok. Like?

I'm pretty sure forced retirement has been talked abouts before and the same, "If this gets put it in will ruin the game!" /ragequit crowd wuz up in arms.

I mean lets stop talking death cuz apparently that's wut has everyone crying. Wut type of Random forces retirement occurrence would you prefer?

I can't believe people are that wah-baby over their fighters. I've marched 5 times as many fighters out to the execution wall than I have on my roster. People complaining they'll train a Guy for 6 months then he dies in his first fight. Well for one, fight your guys sooner. Two, there are already fighters who train for 6 months-2 years in game have one fight and are cut for being trash. The frequency of losing one to random forced retirement would be a GREAT DEAL less than the frequency at which we already have to cut fighters for succing.

  8. Ah you game savers! I don't like the idea so its bad for the game!

I don't think anyone is saying this should happen at such a frequency that people dread every log in for fear of fighter permanent injury or death. N00bs have been crying forever that top level guys never go anywhere. There's nothing to force them out. Well here's a step in that direction. I mean. I have spar whores who are reaching mid 30's to 40's and at the rate they drop skill, which is to say they don't ever drop in the skills/primaries they spar in, Ill never have to create another fighter to spar in my gym.

Fighting and training is a hard life. We want 50 yo fighters hanging around? 60-70?

  9. I like it. Maybe it'd keep people frum sitting on fighters for years at a time wen there's always the possibility he croaks during or before his first fight. Folks are always crying fighters last too long and theirs no turnover. This would definitely add sum.

  10. I personally only have 1 Guy under 170, and if it wuznt for Scott's 135 qfc div I wouldn't have him :P. For that reason. Its virtually impossible to generate enuff hype/pop to get to the top. That's why Hakuin and all the little guys still have to hop around orgs and w/C's to remain relevant. It really makes Hakuin Ekaku's story, Legend. He fuccin fought Everybody.

  11. Dan Henderson

    Elite Chin

    Elite KO POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    God's Right hand

This is sumthing I had found unfair for a long time. One man should not have been blessed with both a chin that could withstand atomic warfare AND a right hand that can put a rhino down. I wish I had been standing in line behind him wen God wuz handing gifts out that day. "Ya.. Ill have wut he's having."

  12.

Yeah, I personally think of Anderson as the Ali of today. He's just so interesting to watch no matter who he is fighting. I've gone back and watched so many Ali fights and it's just rirdculous to watch his foot movement. Half the time his movements didn't even make sense, but they would distract his opponent long enough to get his shots in. And the way Anderson drops his hands and just weaves reminds me a lot of Ali. Ali would drop his hands, just start moving his feet and before you know it a punch is landing square on his opponents mouth. Lol

Same man. A lot of peeps have tried to emulate Ali. Even more have cited him as one of their main inspirations. Very few embody the essence of his style like Andy. I almost compared his footwork to Ali's but I didn't wana start a nuclear war :P

Its not that the footwork is the same, but the premise and strategy of it. How many times wuz Ali off balance or not set to thro? Hardly ever if at all. Same with Anderson. He is always in position to fire. Like with the last Chael fight. As he got off the cage and broke contact with Sonnen that's all the room he needs. He starts pacing backwards. He's just walking. But the absolute microsecond that Chael tried to close the distance: Planted. Boom. Left hand. It wuz like he had gone into the future and already new exactly where he needed to be ahead of time.

Or Bonnar. I kno he's not a striking savant but the dude duznt get stopped. And Anderson's like, "Ya so, your chin is Tuff or sumthing right? Well I'm ending fights with Sternum shots now so... succs for you."

I don't really believe you can take months off then train for a few weeks and have your body conditioned to even be in the cage with a beast like Silva, much less reflexes, timing, physical adeptness, but even so. He literally ended that fight at will. I bet he coulda called his shot if he wanted to.

  13. Silva is freakishly quicc, has precognitive timing, hes like 4 long lanky limbs attached to a couple lungs, and easily one of the most technical strikers to participate at the highest level of mma. How He has adapted striking arts to be murderously effective in mma is the stuff legends are made of. It duznt matter if wen he's fighting retired guys who never had power he likes to eat a few punches. If it makes him feel like a bad-ass, or look like a super hero, wutever. Duznt matter if his hands are down wen he's slipping punches. Or if he likes to act like he's using 52Bloccs style to throw people off or throw ridiculous strikes to goad opponents into taking chances. The dude is fuccing BAD. Effectively, Technically, Super humanly.

His footwork in particular is Amazing. That shit Cray. How quickly he can switch frum being light on his feet and free moving to planted and powerful. On his feet he is always in perfect position to Fire. And its going to be accurate and powerful wen he lets it go.

As much as I can't stand the dude for being such a cocky asshole and wanting to Picc on poor little welterweights while avoiding real challenges at LHW like plague rats, I'm still so happy and honored that I wuz able to watch him perform during his prime. So many classic moments he's created that will be talked about decades after he's retired....

So in short, ya, I agree with him having Elite Striking ratings :P

  14. I Duno why everyone's flipping out calling peeps who disagree or debate the posted stats flamers, idiots, trolls.... This is a forum, if you didn't wana get sum discussion going why post? :P

In just about any combat art speed kills. Silva, GSP, Hendricks, Aldo, Cruz, JDS... or for that matter Mayweather, Ali, and Jones Jr. In his prime. Jones Jr. In particular had sum atrocious habits if you look at his boxing technically. But he wuz so fuccing fast they turned into opportunities for him wen dudes tried to take advantage of it.

Athletically the only HW anywhere near JDS is maybe Cain, and even so I don't think he's anywhere near as fast as Dos Santos. JDS uses a lot of in/out and controls the range VERY WELL, but until we see him fight sumone closer to his speed I Duno that we have a good idea how technically sound his boxing is. However it is definitely sum of the most effective in mma.

  15. I don't think boxing in mma and boxing the sport are the same, but even if were just talking about boxing as applied to mma, JDS is not Elite. You may not agree with AK's stance but he's right: While I'd give JDS Elite rank in certain areas of boxing, wrestling, etc. His boxing defense is not Elite. Anything over Superb MT is absurd. Like I said he's never even checced a kicc that I can recall. That's the one thing that makes a fight with Overeem intriguing to me. If Frank Mir is landing a high % of kiccs on you, you have some work to do.

  16. Unfortunately I dont care enuff about this guy to listen to him talk, but I hope things turn around for him. I saw Bedford at sum Legacy Fights and a grappling Tourney in Dallas. He wuz cornering people. He wuz walking around like a mental patient, and his little temper tantrums had me and the people I wuz with thinking this Guy has to be the worst person to have in your corner ever. He wuz coaching sum kid in the tourney and freaking jumps up in the air, throws his hat down and starts pacing bacc and forth scratching his head like Mankind and muttering under his breath. Seemed real off.

  17. This. You're comparing guys who cheated in the sport to get ahead to a Guy who accomplished pretty much everything a boxer could possibly ask for, younger in life than wuz conceived as possible before he came along, then had a mental breakdown towards the end of his career. The other guys you talked about straight up cheated. Tyson earned everything he achieved in boxing. He will always be talked about amongst the greatest ever. Bonds and Rose.... not so much.

Mattos played the system. He cheated. Avon Barksdale might be a bank robber in RL but that duznt tarnish any of his in game accolades. We're talking about asterisks on sumones records. Do you really think on Tyson's list of accomplishments there's an asterisk that reads: "Bit Holyfield's Ear. Went to Jail." ?
