    Sorry bud I don’t believe that. Then again I was watching this movie the other day called “Black 47” and I could not believe to what extent an entire nation could just take it in the butt.

    to be candid here i actually asked Mike once for literally anything other than nothing, a little tad of respect, like even just free VIP or anything other than nothing for the work ive put into this game over years and still wantet to put in and he wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. he easily couldve convinced me to stay instead of quit. ive had so many ideas and energy yet to give. im sure at times ive probably put more time and thought into the game than he himself.. together with my small circle of friends back then. ce la vie. its like no shit - if you dont care about the people that create content in this user-content-driven game the overall revenue and interest will just go down and down over the years, especially if you dont even care much about the game itself anymore.

     

    Well shit, there's an old name I haven't seen in a looooong time. Not even sure if I was active much when you were around. :wheelchair:

    So Frankie boy loved the game but dropped out because Mike wouldn’t throw some VIP his way?

     

    I’ve honestly never paid for VIP , I have for extra fighter slots but not VIP. It’s easy enough enough to generate Tycoon dollars to trade for it. And I haven’t needed Tycoon dollars since I outplayed Jarmas and took over Island FC, lol now THAT was pure genius.

     

    But maybe that market was not established enough back then and this forgotten genius could not afford $10 Lolol

     

    Then again if Master Humors vouches for this guy then he’s ok.

     

    The only guy that I knew helped with programming was Wolf and his butt boi Aaron but maybe Frankie did help ....

     

    The mystery deepens just like my penetration on the Stepdads , s birdie told me beta Luc Gagnon is ready for another beating :)

     

    Here's a piece of advice for you - It would do you a ton of good if you would just not post instead of posting complete diarrhea.

     

    I don't think Wolf had any access to code / database. I think Aaron was the one given access to the DB and started changing fighter stats - never really heard of him actually producing features which actually helped MMA Tycoon.

     

    That Wolf / Aaron saga had a massive ripple effect. Think of the amount of fighters / managers / organisations all affected because of them altering the fighter stats.

    I lost motivation to keep playing the game whenever a lot of the other well known active managers started to become less active and there was less and less good write ups for events and great tournaments like ITFL. I also got tired of no serious improvements to the game.

     

    I wouldn't pay more of my own money into the game and didn't want to use in game money to buy more VIP as my interest had waned, felt the VIP purchase would be a waste and would rather keep the funds in case I fancied coming back if there was a lot of new improvements to the game.

     

    A lack of updates / improvements to the game is what has lead to a lot of managers leaving the game. I don't know what has happened with Mike and his developer but it's not my problem, I've been hearing about these problems for years and it seems like it is still on going. Mike always seems to have renovations going on as well and whilst it's nothing to do with me or anyone else what he does in his personal life, I do feel that prioritising them over working on the game has hindered the game.

     

    Who knows, perhaps some serious improvements to the game a couple of years ago would have easily paid for the renovations so he wouldn't have to worry about it himself, although I must say Mike you've done a great job with the renovations!

     

    Perhaps the best thing which could happen to MMA Tycoon would be for a new owner to take over the game and pump serious money into it and give it a modern look. I used to always dream of MMA Tycoon investing into a 3D game engine back when I first joined.

     

    Pretty much all of my alliance has left as well so that's another big reason why I have no interest to play again. I'm grateful to have a couple of them on Facebook and we still message every now and then to see what everyone is up to.

    Are we making excuses for Mike now? New house, new bathroom, new baby = less MMA Tycoon and we should understand? What?

    Screw that, I own a company and would never expect my customers to understand that my private life holds me up from doing the work they paid me for.

    That's straight up BS. And now I hear he has no time for US do to another game / project? MMA Bets or something. What?

    So we are paying money to a dead game where the owner is more involved with another game? WHAT?

    I'm here trying to help him get funds to help this game AND HE IS ON ANOTHER PROJECT? NOT THIS ONE FULL TIME? WTF is going on here. Are we the forgotten left behind trash that gives him funds for other projects while we are here hoping / waiting for basic fooking upgrades?

     

     

    I get where you're coming from at the end of the day people are still paying money in the hope of cool new features being added to the game / added for VIP members. If all the VIPs suddenly went, "No, I've waited long enough for changes, I'm not waiting any longer and I wont be renewing" then that $30k a year would quickly become $0 a year.

     

    I'm curious if there's any way for VIP members to give feedback on why they no longer wish to continue to renew their VIP membership. It would help gather information on why we lost such a high number of users over the years (of course those who were multi accounts don't count)

    Ok, so back to this thread then. Lets face the facts. Mike needs money to move the game forward. Updates, upgrades cost money. So our goal should be focused on how we as a group can create EXTRA funds for Mike to put into the game.

     

    We can do this we just need to be creative. Ideas?

     

    I think it's very hard for him to split his time between MMA Tycoon and BetMMA.tips, I think BetMMA.tips is having some success and so I don't blame him focusing the bulk of his time on something which is profitable.

    I know of a new mobile app that is more or less identical to this game except for it simulates the fights in 3D and the training is on timers based on the level and shit like that, a few other minor differences like no TWGC or pure kickboxing, just MMA fights.

     

    The game is in Beta testing right now and I am playing it, but if Mike were to sell to them, I can imagine they would have a lot of use for the algorithms, coding etc to improve their game engine and whatnot. They may even be able to improve this game if they take it over! And Mike could stay on as a consultant since he has years of experience in this already. If we could get Mike on board with a bigger project like that it would be awesome! They have over 100,000 people right now using the beta test version of the game and are constantly making improvements. Imagine if just a percentage of those users were to try out tycoon. And vice-versa with mmat users trying out their game too.

     

    P.S. I am in no way implying that Mike has the time to work with another company but think of it like: if he can make some extra money for part time consulting wouldn't that be great?

     

    What game is that? If it's on Android I'm downloading it.

    Physical gifts are great... but how does he respond when he gets punched in the head?

     

     

     

    Lesnar got an absolute gift of a run to the title.

     

    I never understand how anyone who thinks Lesnar is any more than average in MMA. His striking was Ronda Rousey level and his wrestling was good but not to the same level as DC or Khabib. Brock would struggle to be top 10 in the UFC HW division right now.
