  1. Np mate, I'll remember to wear one the next time I beat one of your bums
  2. I have never had a single 5 sec KO and i've played for over 4 years. But on the bright side I've beaten Parmalee Sackett
  3. Q: How many Finns does it take to change a light bulb? A: None. Once a Finn has noticed that a light bulb is made of glass and has the shape of a bottle, he'll try to open it. Q: No, seriously, how many Finns does it take to change a light bulb? A: Five. One to hold the bulb and four to drink enough vodka for the room to start spinning. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: How do you know a Finnish man is madly in love with his wife? A: He almost tells her. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  6. Huge win for Partio, I hope he brings gold to Sisu!
  7. Okay so Zelenka advances to the semi's. http://images.challonge.com/hpvqmtf4.png
  8. No rematches please. I'd prefer that Zelenka would advance to the semi's due to the one judge scoring the fight in his favor thus giving him overall more points from the judges. Anyway it's up to you guys to decide, if you want to keep the original rule that the fighter with more hype adavances i'm also fine with that.
  9. I agree. I think that we should've separeted majority draws from normal draws in the rules. I think it's clear that in a case of a majority draw the fighter who was given the nod by one judge should advance.
  10. No news unfortunately. He hasn't logged in since the 24th. Unfortunately I can't find a replacement for him in such a short notice.
  11. I guess this rules applies to all draws, but I also think that in a case of majority draw the fighter who was given the nod by the single judge should advance in the tournament.
  12. Wow, Otso out in the first round + De Groot and Zelenka ends up in a draw and De Groot advances to the semi's with higher P4P ranking.
  13. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1401361720olympia.jpg Sisu Fights #22: TYCOON OLYMPICS ROUND 1 PREVIEW written by Furious Styles MAY 31, 2014 SUOMI INTERNATIONAL, HELSINKI 19,500 ATTENDANCE Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, there comes a time in life when epic battles are shown on a mass scale, and the Mixed Martial Arts Tycoon Olympics is that very event! Fighters will be battling like they were the old gladiators of lore against other warriors who are the best of the best! These elite athletes and combatants are the men who do not avoid battles, nor do they seek favoritism! They face all challenges head on and with all the talent and skill they can muster! Sisu Fights is very proud that they are fortunate to be one of the organizations selected to host such an epic, spectacular, legend-creating event! It is my extreme pleasure to be able to report on events of this magnitude and I, like all of you, very much look forward to seeing these events unfold and legends cemented in MMA Tycoon! So, without further ado…let’s get down to business! LIGHTWEIGHT OLYMPIC BATTLE: “KRUEL” KALE KUMMOLA (17-4) of the FINNFIGHTERS versus JAMES “LOGAN” HOWLETT (26-5-1) of CONVICTED INC. Right off the bat we have Champion versus Champion, the tear-drop tattooed warrior battling the Wolverine-esque warrior; two men who know how to go into the cage and finish an opponent! Kale is seven years younger and may very well rely upon that youthful exuberance and energy to try and keep the seasoned veteran, Howlett, off balance long enough to take advantage. However, no one can ever count out the accomplished Howelett as he has seen it all and done it all! He has defeated some of the very best in the business and has had various impressive win streaks as well, so he definitely know how to handle business! Likewise, Kummola has put together very impressive win streaks against great opponents, and he definitely is comfortable battling any opponent on the mat! Howlett has a slight height advantage in this fight and may try to keep this fight on its feet where has shown great ability using his educated hands and feet. However, Kummola is also very solid with his hands and has been in enough battles to know how to defend against vicious kicks, elbows and knees, so that may not be of major concern for him. Will experience be the deciding factor in this battle, or will energy and aggression tip the momentum? Time will tell but this promises to be one hell of a fight! LIGHTWEIGHT OLYMPIC BATTLE: OTSO “SPARTICUS” JOKINEN (59-11) of the FINNFIGHTERS versus ALEXANDRE “THE BUTTERFLY KNIFE” NIETO (25-8-1) of THE BROKEN HALO PRIDE Can anything more really be said about the legendary Jokinen!? This man has had more fights than most people have had meals! Owner of tremendous winning streaks, an extremely impressive record, fantastic finishes of all kinds, and a never say die attitude has propelled him to one of the very best to have ever stepped foot into the octagon! Not to be underestimated, Nieto is as capable of making any man tap out in the blink of an eye! He has been presented the unique and exclusive opportunity to truly cement his name as one of the best if he can overcome the Helsinki legend! Nieto will no doubt be up to the task but he’ll have to be as sharp as he has ever been because if he isn’t, the outcome may very well be one that he doesn’t want to experience. Nieto has a slight height advantage so he may opt to try and soften Jokinen up for ground strikes and submission attempts but that’s a very tall order against a man who has seen a tremendous amount of action! Jokinen is extremely comfortable against all opponents and in all situations, so Nieto will have to try and unnerve the wily veteran or even try to bait him into making an error; something that Jokinen very rarely does. The fans will be very raucous for this fight, I promise you, and Helsinki may very well have a small earthquake due to the people making so much noise all around the city for Jokinen! LIGHTWEIGHT OLMYPIC BATTLE: KARL “THE HURRICANE” DE GROOT (47-17-1) of the STEEL PENN ALLIANCE versus JAN ZELENKA (19-4-1) of the INTERNATIONAL COCKSMEN Here we have yet another situation where a very seasoned, accomplished veteran will test his mettle against a younger and very hungry opponent, and these types of battles are always exciting and interesting! De Groot brings championship experience and that is immeasurable in any given situation, so Zelenka will have to formulate an excellent fight plan with his management team and put forth as much as he can into executing said plan! Both of these warriors have won numerous battles by way of Unanimous Decision so they have no problem simply outworking their opponent, but don’t let that fool you! Each man is capable of stopping an opponent in his tracks in a moment’s notice, but in this particular matchup, I don’t think that will be the case. The fighter who controls the pace and positioning will be the one to emerge victorious because the skill level is too high here for a finish, unless one of these warriors becomes overanxious and opens himself up to a bad situation. Zelenka does have a sizeable height advantage and has the weight advantage as well, so perhaps keeping this fight standing will be his approach, but his punches and kicks will have to be spot on as De Groot has shown an outstanding ability to defend against strikes. Patience and suddenness will be key in this fight so we’ll see who is able to impose their will upon whom! LIGHTWEIGHT OLYMPIC BATTLE: GERARD “EL TORO” ESQUEDA (25-10-2) of LEGION OF DOOM versus AARON “THE ANIMAL” WITT (29-8-2) of LEGION OF DOOM I knew this would happen and here it is! Alliance mate versus Alliance mate, and these are definitely some of my favorite types of situations because there’s a bit more incentive involved. One of these man not only wants to win, of course, but they also want to have bragging rights within the Alliance and also want to be able tell stories that bust the other guy’s balls a bit at Alliance activities, like barbeques, etc. Both fighters have basically the same amount of experience but Esqueda is the taller and heavier man, so his approach may be to utilize said height and keep this fight on its feet as much as possible where he can take advantage of that reach and unleash with various punches and kicks. I would assume the opposite for Witt, where he would want to get this fight on the ground as soon as possible in an effort to take hold of one of Esqueda’s longer limbs and manipulate it into a submission maneuver! I have no doubt that numerous LOD members will be right outside of the cage, yelling words of encouragement as well as talking some crap, so this will be a very interesting situation to say the least. Will one of these men be able to finish their Alliance mate, or will they have to battle through five grueling rounds to determine the victor?
  14. Great stuff!!! I'm super excited about the Olympic fights and can't wait till tomorrow!
  15. Damn, looks like his manager hasn't logged in since the 24th. I hope he comes back soon, since I won't be able to provide a replacement for Some on such short notice.
  16. Nice job Dee, Sisu will definitely use this for it's Olympics events!
  17. 5''9 and 185lbs, I'd like to get back down to around 160 but I like unhealthy food too much lol.
  18. So Alexandre Nieto is the CW/CEC's guy in 155. He will face Otso Jokinen in the first round.
  19. So wtf is going on with CEC/CW. Nobody seems to know who their 155'er is. In this thread it says Damien Satan, but Cliff told me it's Nieto, however Mega who manages Nieto didn't know anything about it.... And when is CEC going to host the 1st round since their next 2 events are already fully booked?!?
  20. Yeah, I'd like to know what's up with CEC/CW situation too. It seems like CEC has their next 2 events fully booked and CW's next event is on June 14th, so I really wonder what's going on. EDIT: I see that the other 135'ers are contracted to CEC so I think their hosting it in Helsinki. When the 1st round is, I have no idea.
  21. That's strange, I've never had any problems with the chat.
  22. Okay so it seems that there has been some confusion about who is the reoresentative from CEC/CW for 155. I was told by Cliff that is not Damien Satan who was listed as their participant in this thread but actually Alexandre Nieto managed by Mega Jug
  23. Crazy comeback! Sub of the night performance for sure
  24. Damn I hope that Cliff hasn't gone inactive again. Still waiting for him to release their 155'er.
