Never ducked a fight buddy, at least not anytime within the last couple years. Not that I can remember. We talked about Marciano and McDermot. If what I did by not showing interest in the McDermot fight when Taj was the champ and McDermot was a gatekeeper is considered ducking, then your buddy JLP has ducked me about 50 times this year. It's not like I didn't know you would save that PM and send it to all your pals. Feel free to post it. I just sent you a PM because I didn't feel like organizing a proper message on the forums and debating with a bunch of people and derailing the topic at the time. My message was pretty much "IIRC" there's some things I remember better than others, so to say I remember everything in complete detail wouldn't be accurate cuz I can't remember what I did last week lol.

You always bring up this message you saved like it's some secret document with hidden information and it's some watergate scandal. Everything in that has either been discussed before, or I've said it publicly. So feel free to enlighten the crowd just so you can STFU and stop talking about some document of a PM you saved from me lol.

You just ducked a fight because you "need to train for a while".

    Hypocrite.

    1. BJJ will be a factor in working out how this works. The points are not auto-relocating. You will have a page where you can reallocate points from other skills to raise the two new ones up.

    2. I refer you to this post: http://www.mmatycoon...800#entry427167

    1. I know it's not "auto-relocating". I just feel that in theory, useless-- bjj and wrestling, with elite++ def. grappling manually could be relocated into elite++ transitions. When I mean BJJ, I mean BJJ as a primary skill. At least BJJ as a primary skill should realisticly be considered into this.

    2. I read it but still feel that 28 is way to young, regarding starting to decline skillvise. I mean most fighters has their breakthrough at that age, get signed by UFC and continues therefter. Yes, Hendo and Couture are bad examples but just look at the best; Anderson Silva. I don't think he started to decline at 28.

  2. I think the changes are great but I feel two things are a bit strange.

    1. That only def. grappling will be relocating into transitions. Many stand up fighters has really high def. grappling while grapplers have put a lot of skills into other ground attributes. At least BJJ, should be in to consideration.

    2. Skill decline, starting from 28 (!) Feels really really young.

  3. And a big problem as I see it, in increasing learning speed, would be that you do not have to choose specific areas to be good in/put time into, as you would be able to, to quick be good in to many areas.

That would be a shortcut to get a great fighter wich would ruin the key part of even playing this game.

  4. I do not agree with edwardsfan, fighters should not age and learn faster. Theres a reason as it is like now, and the aging speed has already been increased. If you find it hard to adept a young and new fighter keep him to the lower leagues. That is how it works, aswell as in real life. It takes time to be a champ. and the oldest fighters are already on there way down, letting younger ones taking over.

Making major changes like this would be a slap in the face to all of us whos been putting in so much time and patience to create prospects. Its a part of the game and what many people find charming. Its been this way and its a big part of the game. Deal with it.

  5. @duphus yeah. you remember this conversation from chat the other day? would like to sort out this question once and for all. If the primary affects the sparvalue apart from the star-rating.

  6. ... and why doeas the sparring schedule in gym show different kind of star values from the fighter info page. I got fighters with 4,5 stars that has 5 stars at the gym schedule info page.

  7. Ok, yes thanks, but i knew that already :)

What I meant was if the primary, as itself, besides the star-rating would boost the learning. Are you with me? Not as it effects the star-rating, but outside of that.

I've been thinking about this. As if a sensational boxer (5-stars) would downgrade the learning for the spar-session an elite spar-boxer (5-stars) already is in.

  8. Sparring worth. How does primaries effect sparring besides the sparring worth-stars?

Example. If my fighter has elite boxing. He is sparring worth 5 stars. Does it mather at what level the one/ones he spars with is at, as long as they are sparring worth 5 stars? Does it mather if the partner is sensational at boxing as long as he is at 5 stars? When my fighter is an elite boxer.

    Please, clarify this.

  9. Definitely got a big heart considering he got hit a few times after being rocked and kept going. Probably high confidence not to freeze up and turn into a punching bag as well.

Sounds reasonable. That along with his KO-power makes him to a fighter with good hiddens i assume then.

By the way, you are on an incredible winning streak.

Thank you. Glad to hear. I've been fighting at a really slow pace though and had to restart creating fighters since I builded my first fighters wrong from the start.

He probably has a ´solid chin´ or something like that then. Nearly all of your opponents wins were by KO so he had power, and your guy still survived.

Could be a solid/good chin but i think its a little less than that. Probably a normal chin or slightly better. Time will tell :)

  10. granite chin and big heart

Naah, i wish but thats not the case. I'm sure.

Look at his first two fights revealing his highest hiddens. Granite chin would show up before KO Power for example. Then fighters that squared off with him in other fights showed that they "has the better chin" at the ToTT pre-talk. While not being granite chins.

From about the third minute in the first round until the round ends (after getting rocked).

Is it heart, chin or just nothing?

    Circumstances:

    • Carlton were facing a heavy hitter with better striking than himself at that time
    • Carlton kept fighting while being rocked
    • Carlton took 3 strikes after being rocked (without recovering)

I honestly don't know how to read this.

Someone with this experience or that has an input on the incident?
