[Energy recovery supplements and no training]

Will energy recovery supplements help my fighers recover energy more quickly when they skip training sessions? I realize that other supplements just go to waste if you leave them equipped while your fighter isn't training, but I wanted to see if energy recovery still works since it isn't an enhancement supplement.
