  1. Who knows? I was drunk when I posted this... I think someone brought it up in chat and I felt like stirring up shit.
  2. I changed two of my guys to no training on Friday so I could switch them back to full time today. Well, I go to do it and now I can't. What happened? This ruins my training for the week. Wouldn't have switched if I knew this would happen.

  4. Haha I think that line of flavor text must be in the wrong section.
  5. God, this disease has spread to the forums now? I thought all the beggars coming into chat were bad. It's ten dollars! If you can't come up with ten dollars, then you should probably stop wasting so much time on the internet and find a job.
  6. go to the "my fighters" link. click "sign up for qfc". bingo bango.
  7. Can you imagine watching two guys on the ground for nearly a minute and in that time the only action was from a couple of strikes that missed? That's a fair standup. You were set to the "wet blanket" strategy. You should be aggressively trying to finish the fight if you don't want to get stood up.
  8. You spent about 50 seconds on the ground and in that time, you missed two strike attempts and just held onto the guy. Seems like a fair standup. You need to be far more active. Move that slider away from control.
  9. thanks for the cliff's notes. i was about to post a tldr

actually, there are almost always plenty of idle users. just say hello or ask a question and someone will usually respond pretty quickly. when you first login using mibbit, it shows everyone as idle until they say something.
  11. what you just described is the swing for the fences and swing seconds sliders.
  12. You declined the fight because you were scared? hahahah what a pussy
  13. Why hasn't this troll been banned yet? Is there any rule he hasn't broken? Or do you keep him around to see his new and different ways to rip people off while punishing people that are legitimately successful?

yeah. i always assumed it was meant to be but was just glitchy. please fix!
  15. I'd like to see clinch attempts the same way we see takedown attempts. Likewise, I'd like to see clinch breaks and standups in the stats as well. Any chance we can get even more post-fight stats?
  16. your opponent controlled the fight. you had 28 failed takedown attempts, couldn't get out of the clinch, and had nearly 60 missed punch combos. should have been a draw imo. pretty terrible fight. but, you lost a lot of points for all your failed stuff. edit: i may need to take this to the improvements forum, but i'd like to start seeing stats on clinch attempts.
  17. 18. Interviewer: Hi! I'm here with Cain Marko who has recently been offered a title fight with Chong Man Hoi. Cain, when you first came into DEF, you declared that you had the skills to beat Hoi. You said you'd dominate and that nobody would stand in your way. Now that you actually have the opportunity to fight the man, do you wanna scale back any of that boasting? Cain: Absolutely not. People looked at my record when I came here and said "Ok, here's another can. He's a gatekeeper at best." They never took the time to look at how far I've come since those early losses. Yes, in those fights, I didn't look like I had the skill or the knowledge to win. They exploited that. I can take nothing from them. I was young and I wasn't ready for that level of competition. After those two miserable losses, I had to look myself in the mirror and ask "do you really want this, Cain? Are you willing to sacrifice everything to make this work?" So I told myself that no matter what happened, I was never going to go out like that again. I would show up well prepared and focused on the task at hand. My next fight was a kiss off. They put me in against another 0-2 guy and said "well, one of you has to win." So, I decided that was gonna be me. I went in there and cracked him as hard as I could. He dropped and I followed him. Before I knew it, he was tapping and I had finally got my first win. As a 1-2 fighter, you don't have a lot of prospects. I signed up for a quick fight against a 1-1 fighter. I didn't know much about him, but I knew I was going to win again. That rush of adrenaline is addicting. You win once and you will never be ok with a loss no matter who you fight. I went into the fight and I could see the weakness in his eyes. I pulled him into the clinch and obliterated him. He had no answer and could only try to cover up and get out of the clinch. Finally, the ref had to stop the fight. The president of DEF was kind enough to offer me a fight and see my true potential. In my very first fight, I knew I had to make an impression. So, boom! I took him to the ground and smashed his face in. Next fight? Took him into the clinch and destroyed him. He fell to the ground and I took his back. Moments later, he was tapping out. Every fight I try to show something different. You think I'm gonna punch you? I take you down. You think I'm gonna take you down? I kick your head into the cheap seats. The reason I bring this up is because Hoi has one talent: grappling. And even that isn't that great. His success percentage on submissions is a joke. His wrestling sucks. When was the last time he threw a punch or a kick? Stanley Stankus? He almost lost that fight! I'm here right now. I'm telling everyone: come watch this fight. I'm going to embarass Hoi. Maybe I'll even beat him at his own game. Who knows? What I will tell you is this: I can beat Hoi everywhere. Right now, he should be looking to cash in on his fame. Sign up for Dancing With The Stars. Get a reality show. Sign a book deal. Your candle is about to be snuffed out, Hoi.
