  1. Faber wouldn't do well. He moved up to 155 to fight Tyson Griffin and got KO'd.

Mike Brown is a 145er and did a very good job of imposing his size on Faber and wearing him out.

WD Tyson cut to 145 for that fight I believe.....

Alistair Overeem looks much better as a HW, and as has been mentioned--Randy Couture.

Alistair has the frame of a heavyweight, why he kept cutting so much to make 205 is out of me. Roids or not, Alistair looks better at heavyweight then light heavy.

  2. AA needs to bring his ground game in more, he seems to be a agile, flexible and quick HW. And a ground game is what most HW's don't have. (excluding the tops in the rank of course, which i dont consider AA anymore.)

Yeah but a lot of Heavyweights are big strong and heavy guys that know the basics on takedown defense. AA has no wrestling compared to where a lot of heavyweights do

  3. yea i hate it about AA but another fighter comes to mind also Vitor Belfort -- mad skills but just lack luster a lot of times

Vitor is a mental thing though. Ever since Couture and Sakuraba embarrassed him he lost his killer instinct. But lately at 185 I'm starting to see the old Vitor and thing is that Vitor still has more years to go before he would need to retire.

AA just has a glass jaw

  4. You don't, on the easy difficulties you can get 144 sparring points by knocking your guy out twice (GnP or head kicks work well), if you played on the highest difficulty you could get over 200 which would just be insane.

My teams always fear to trade with me so they go ape shit on takedowns which I stuff but those don't add up points

  5. I think AJ has huge potential, which won't be realized where he is right now. He needs to move to a better camp to train and a camp that a strong wrestling base to help AJ try to stop GSP from taking him down. I would suggest to him going to Arizona Combat Team with CB Dollaway, Ryan Bader and many others.

  6. Given that Joe Warren has only been training for 5 months... you really might not want to see a rematch after another year of improvement from Joe Warren!

Now that is something I can get behind! :D

Always good to see you post again WD lol :graduated:

I only watched the opening minutes but to me Kid did look smaller to Warren, so many 135 would be a smart choice for Kid right now, espically if the rumors of him and Dana talking are true. But even like his stance seemed off. It was more of a muay thai stance when he should of have took what I like to call the "hendo" stance. Lower right down, hips back and just wing punches lol
