  1. Rodey's 9-2 in his career losing only to an ex legend and a sub spamming whore. He is in peak condition coming off his avengence of the Hayz loss and is prepping for a possible second shot at his 145 crown. -"Torres knows everytime he looks at the belt that it's mine, shit, it still has my initials in it. I've been smoking crack in preparation for this upcoming win. They say he's the only one to ever defend the 145 title but I defended it against Kung Lao. Kung's a bullshitter, he won a fake title off of Robinson after Robinson came off his loss to me. I had the belt and everyone knew it. I've been putting roids in my Corn Flakes for weeks prepping for Hayz and now it's some time for Torres to experiance my peoples elbow."- Rodey does, however display gratitude to Torres for taking out "the beerman" Chase and defending the crown against Rodey's leftovers. He says he will appreciate all the free hype he recieves from this win.

    Spam Tatics

People want the game to be MORE geared toward grappling. But it can't be when there's a tactic that you can use to get bullshit unrealistic wins. I'm a 155er and if I ever went for 10 takedowns and subs in a round I can guarrentee you I would be tired enough for my oponent to finish me the next round. Conditioning and energy seem to play no role as well. When you say sub spamming is a part or MMA you're PARTLY right. But when did Tito takedown spam Chuck? or Royce sup spam Hughes? I didn't see it. And for good reason. A- you have to have some level of control, or a damn good set up to get a sub. That takes time. B- When going for a sub you exert energy. So guys doing 25 sub attempts in a 3 rounder that aren't Rani Yahya or 135 pounds are rediculous to even get lucky. Control/ setups need to actually factor. So does cardio.
  3. There is no cap. There's nothing past elite mentioned but you can go as high as you have patiance for I think. For instance 150 is elite, but you could also hit 200+
  4. It would be cool if the biggest fights for a weight class were recorded. The biggest org events, for instance, are recorded. So it would be cool to have a top ten for the biggest hype matchups in every weight class and and top ten overall. That would be cool. Maybe top fighters would be seeking eachother out for a win in the recordbooks under the biggest fight ever in their weight.
  5. I can not express my feelings about this it's just..... bad. http://www.youtube.com/user/NewsZap
  6. I like that, i also like the idea of giving the other fighter the option to fight regardless and take half the other fighters purse, that's a lesson right? Free win and half the fighters purse is a sweet deal.
  7. He has useless wrestling, the only reason he got anyone to the ground was probably because they were playing the aggressive game with him. You'll be fine if you keep your distance and set your shit to 75 percent counter 75-80 percent power. If you have any power at all you'll catch him. Just pray your guy doesn't dive in to finish him on the ground lol. But yeah, he should have no chance against you whatsoever. If he does 40 takedown attempts you will probably stuff all of them. Good luck. I'm off to eat cheesecake.
  8. I've been on, just lazy, don't worry, you'll get your 14 days out of me. I'll get you back though. Btw, if someone else beat me let me know, from what I understand there were two bets that went unconfirmed.
  9. If we make command buttons for everything official there's going to be no communication. I like having to pm people.
  10. Okay. Well, if your oponents run thin remember the offer.
  11. I gotta say, as much as I absofuckinglutely hate Brett Rogers, I think he's one of the only heavyweights in the game that will not fear Fedor. He's too retarded to fear. So maybe that gives him a one up or not considering he's never done anything on the ground, but I had to put that out there.
  12. He'd be something special if he had someone to fight. 10-0's bloated, he's 5-0 quality. Sean Rodey'll fight him next if he want's to make the move to 145. Bring him to Synchronicity, hell, the free hype might be worth travelling myself. Rodey has a fight, Zola has a fight, let's make it happen. And to clarify this, Zola deserves props for not being a sub spamming bitch. Most of his wins were with skill. And that will last when the system is fixed. Current world #3 Bantamweight vs ex reigning world #1 featherweight. That'll be a notch in your belt right. I invite you. Let's make this happen. Rodey vs Zola.
  13. How much does the winner of the tourney get?
  14. I have Couture picked. Any takers?
  15. No offense but that's the complete opposite of what you want to do if he spams. Check the stats and see how he is in the clinch. If he sucks and you have a decent clinch use it. If he doesn't go for a lot of subs on the ground put him there and be offensive for short periods, set your fighter to stand up from the ground is what I mean. Those are your two best options. At least generally speaking. You likely can't afford to just play one strategy going in to the fight, because it's even standing and on the ground I'm guessing. So mix it up, if you are a significantly better wrestler remember you have free TD and position points anytime you want them, you just can't lay and pray waiting to get subbed, keep it brief.
  16. I'll donate $1000 I love the fact that this is happening.
  17. For your first question, because they're about to both max out, duh. And a Strength of Schedule would simply rate someone's oponents competition.
  18. I ask this question because companies have the money to produce one and get in the recordbooks for first org to hold a PPV. Getting big props like that seems like it would be worth losing 500,000.
  19. Chuck Norris puts the laughter in manslaughter.
  20. The winner of YB Sol vs Mendes should drop to MW and fight the tournament champion. That would definantly be something to see.
  21. I'm not saying that Strength of Schedule would replace hype, but I am saying that it would be cool if when you looked on a fighters profile you would see a number or something that represented his career quality. Hype is very temporary so it serves its name "hype" properly. (As a sidenote I do believe there needs to be a change because the cummulative system isn't working for companies.)
