  1. agreed! I cut my first batch of fighters every 15 days once I figured out I had nothing but bisbing builds and they were no good.
  2. that will give you a headach Cobra. You are only taking care of things until the world cup is over right? That means you have about four cards to take care of. I can help you out a bit. I am heading to work now but I will PM you in game when I get home. Fight Time 17 has nine fights if you can fill the 10th one in a few hours awesome but I dont think I would try and squeez that in. I would click on the event and change the fights to nine unless there is a fight just waiting on someone to accept. I can help you get the other three cards filled.
  3. Alright it is time for another instalment of the weekly rankings. We got a lot of positive reviews about the weekly rankings last week and that has made me make a point about finding time to do the rankings. This week though I have decided to take all the weight classes out to ten fighters per division and I have also decided we will show the ranking of the fighters from last week along with their new ranking and I will also be starting with number 10 and counting down to number one and with that I will not have a description of the fighter because of the extra thirty five fighters I would have to cover. If you all would prefer the top five with a description please let me know and we can return to that. Once again I hope you enjoy. Heavyweight Division (265lbs) #10 (NR) Pablo "El limón" Azul (1-1) {0-0} #9 (NR) "zabijak" Petr Skalny (1-2) {0-2} #8 (NR) Jonny "LoL" Porrada (1-1) {0-1} #7 (#3) Fred "The Fredinator" Frederiksen (2-1) {1-1} #6 (NR) Moistly "The Wet One" Seeping (5-2) {0-0} #5 (NR) Mauler Jackman (1-1) {1-0} #4 (#4) Softly "The Sanguine Giant" Weeping (1-0) {1-0} #3 (#5) Tomasz "Dynamo" Nawarecki (3-2) {2-0} #2 (#1) Burak "Big" Mihalev (10-2) {1-0} #1 (#2) Vihtori "Trt" Kellolinnake (5-1) {1-0} There was a little movement in the Heavyweight rankings but not a ton. We did crown a champion in Vihtori Kelloinnake and he will defend against number two ranked Burak Mihalev at Honour 8. The next big Heavyweight fight will take place at Honour 6 when Weeping and Jackman go head to head. Light Heavyweight Division (205lbs) #10 (NR) Bisse Stobe (1-1) {0-1} #9 (NR) Karl "The Megalomaniac" Stromberg (1-2) {1-1} #8 (NR) Danny Lynch (1-0) {1-0} #7 (NR) Hal Tamner (3-2) {1-0} #6 (NR) Bosko Balaban (1-0) {1-0} #5 (NR) "Big" Ron Jeremy Stephens (2-0) {1-0} #4 (#4) Kyosti Mustalaanen (2-0) {1-0} #3 (#5) Tony "Scarface" Drago (6-1) {1-0} #2 (#3) Clint "Cowboy" Eastwood (2-0) {1-0} #1 (#2) Bob "Probie" Probert (6-1) {1-0} A few people moved around but not that much this week. There should be some movement next week as Mustalaanen and Stephens are about to exit the top ten do to inactivity and we have the Probert Balaban fight upcoming. Middleweight Fight (185lbs) #10 (NR) Fernando "Baduino" Possebao (1-0) {0-0} #9 (NR) Sergei "The Indestructable" In (1-0) {0-0} #8 (NR) Don Schmidt (8-5) {0-0} #7 (#5) Dario "The Killer" Silva (4-5) {0-0} #6 (NR) Mike "The Swine" Sioldster (1-1) {1-0} #5 (#4) "The Firestarter" Spontaneous Combustion (3-5) {0-0} #4 (#3) Nonito Melo (4-3) {1-1} #3 (NR) Charles Kota (2-0) {1-0} #2 (#2) Esko "Etikka" Tikkanen (1-2) {1-0} #1 (#1) Psycho Boy (1-0) {1-0} With Sioldster and Kota both winning there fights over the weekend it made a few adjustments to the rankings. Boy and Tikkanen are still number one and two but Melo fell one spot, Combustion fell one spot, and Silva dropped two spots. With Silva versus Combustion and Boy versus Tikkanen coming up there will be a huge shake up to the middleweight division very soon. Welterweight Division (170lbs) #10 (NR) Steven "Battle Pig" Zisteau (0-2) {0-1} #9 (NR) Samuel Duke (2-3) {0-0} #8 (NR) Daniel "Tytan" Trzcinski (1-2) {1-1} #7 (#4) Pud Pad Noyworawoot (4-0) {0-0} #6 (NR) Matt Hold (2-2) {1-1} #5 (#5) Tom Bowman (1-1) {1-1} #4 (NR) Thomas "Tommie" Hawk (3-2-1) {1-0-0} #3 (#2) Radostan "The Horror" Tugbajev (2-0) {1-0} #2 (NR) Romulo Barral (12-2) {0-0} #1 (#1) Ci Chulainn (5-2) {0-0} A lot of moving around in the division this week and I expect even more moving around in the next few weeks. Hold is the only one in the top ten that does not have a fight scheduled and the Chulainn versus Tugbajev will be for the title at the next HFC event Honour 5. Lightweight Division (155lbs) #10 (NR) Perico "El Pelícano" LosPalotes (0-2) {0-1} #9 (NR) Jussi "Mutant" Hempele (0-1) {0-0} #8 (NR) Lucas Cabrera (1-2) {0-0} #7 (#5) Winston Churchill (1-2) {1-1} #6 (NR) Alden "Chinese Killer" Ho (3-0) {0-0} #5 (#4) Erkki Heimolainen (1-0) {0-0} #4 (NR) Todd Frazier (1-0) {1-0} #3 (#3) Ardan Chulainn (1-1) {1-0} #2 (#2) Miguel "Sari-Sari" Santiago (3-3) {0-0} #1 (#1) "Nature Boy" Quentin DeBramalo (2-1) {1-0} Not a lot of movement in the division as the one, two, and three ranked fighters all stayed in the same place. Todd Frazier was able to defeat Churchill and was able to move to fourth while Churchill moved to number seven. Do to the moving around in the division Heimolainen was also able to move up one spot. At Honour 5 Santiago will take on Heimolainen and that will add up to some shifting in the division. Featherweight Fight (145lbs) #10 (NR) Andy "The Punisher" Clark (0-0) {0-0} #9 (NR) Marcell Ozuna (0-0) {0-0} #8 (NR) Donald Cross (2-2) {1-0} #7 (#4) Tyson "The Prince Of Perfection" Niel (2-2) {0-1} #6 (NR) Lucas "Anarchist" Katzer (2-0) {0-0} #5 (NR) Cedric "The Flash" Jackson (1-0) {0-0} #4 (#5) Sergei "Crusher" Ce (1-0) {0-0} #3 (#2) Brady "Big Fist" Barnes (3-1) {1-0} #2 (#3) Pedro "The Monster Of The Andes" Lopez (2-0) {1-0} #1 (#1) John Swift (3-0) {1-0} A little bit of moving around but not too much. The only person to drop out of the top five was Tyson Niel who fell to seventh. Lopez jumped Barnes in the standings by beating Niel and that earned him a title shot at Honour 6. Barnes will also have a fight on that same card and a win should earn him a shot at the title. Bantamweight Division (135lbs) #10 (NR) Franz Sanches (0-1) {0-1} #9 (NR) Ramses Dragunav (2-2-1) {0-0-0} #8 (NR) Pelle Kickelssen (1-1) {0-1} #7 (NR) Leo "Hitman" Scott (1-1) {0-1} #6 (NR) Norman "The Green Goblin" Osbourne (1-1) {0-1} #5 (#5) Chacho "The Tornado" Vasilevski (1-0) {1-0} #4 (#4) Slap "Your" Nuts (4-2) {1-0} #3 (#3) Anna Velvet (4-0) {0-0} #2 (#2) Jonny "Showtime" Boesh (4-1) {2-0} #1 (#1) The Sigit (9-0-1) {1-0-0} This was the only division that had no change in its top five. The only one that fought was The Sigit and he got a win so he was able to stay at number one. Now The Sigit will take on Boesh at Honour 7 and he will be looking to take the title away from Showtime. P4P Top Ten http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/26/26w18.jpg #10 (NR) Pedro "The Monster Of The Andes" Lopez (2-0) {1-0} http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/32/32b30.jpg #9 (NR) Romulo Barral (12-2) {0-0} http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23w1.jpg #8 (#10) Anna Velvet (4-0) {0-0} http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/30/30b15.jpg #7 (#7) Ci Chulainn (5-2) {0-0} http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/21/21w26.jpg #6 (#6) Jonny "Showtime" Boesh (4-1) {2-0} http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/34/34b1.jpg #5 (#5) John Swift (3-0) {1-0} http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13961928853553.png #4 (#4) Bob "Probie" Probert (6-1) {0-0} http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/21/21w18.jpg #3 (#3) Burak "Big" Mihalev (10-2) {1-0} http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/24/24w19.jpg #2 (#9) Vihtori "Trt" Kellolinnake (5-1) {1-0} http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/2/2w6.jpg #1 (#1) The Sigit (9-0-1) {1-0-0} Kellolinnake moves from ninth to second with the big title win. Velvet moves up two spots from ten to eight just because of Vidal and Barnes dropping out of the top ten. The two new comers to the top ten this week are Pedro Lopez who is coming off a win against Tyson Niel and Romulo Barral who just signed with Honour but has a big name behind him. The next upcoming event Honour 5 will feature two top ten fighters so we could see some more changes to the top ten by next week. I hope all of you enjoyed the weekly rankings. Please comment about them on the smack talk thread or just smack talk and discus anything else.
  4. I thought submissions also wanted some wrestling, I cant remember and I dont feel like checking the wiki but it is on there. single coaches I thought where kicks knees elbows takedown O takedown D
  5. getting a big plus 1 from me too. I love the idea, so many tournaments go down and the awards are not visable unless the orgs title was on the line. The award would have to have an option to go to multiple fighters if applieable. Like ITFL Season X winner would need to go to the entire team.
  6. Honour 4- Kellolinnake versus Frederiksen will be the last event we hold at the Helsinki Micro Arena. We have gotten better and better each week and our fan base have tripled. The reason our fan base is growing so much is because of all the great fights that we have been able to have already and all of the future match ups. We will be bringing you some of those exciting match ups on this event which will include the title fight for the heavyweight strap. Nine other fights will accompany the title fight and they are sure to compliment the title fight well. Preliminary Bout Number 1- Welterweight Fight (170lbs) Matt Hold (1-2) {0-1} versus Dorofes "General " Orlov (0-1) {0-1} Hold is on a two fight losing streak and this could be his big opportunity to get off the skid. He is the far better wrestler and if he can get Orlov to the ground Hold should be able to do what whatever he wants, and he should make quick work of Dorofes. The big thing that Orlov has going for him is his striking. He could be one of the best pure strikers in the division at HFC and everthe best pure strikers in the division at HFC and ever fight starts standing. Orlov just needs to keep on his feet and he could coast to a quick victory in this one. I personally will pick the wrestler over the striker in this one since Orlov has shown us he can’t defend a takedown. I got Hold winning this fight in the first round by TKO via ground and pound. Preliminary Bout Number 2- Middleweight Fight (185lbs) Charles Kota (1-0) {0-0} versus Juuso Valtonen (0-1) {0-1} Kota will be looking to continue his undefeated streak in this one. He is currently one and o in his professional career but he does have a tough challenge ahead. Kota is a very aggressive grappler and he will do whatever it takes to get the fight to the ground and then he will look for submissions and ground and pound as he will try for a quick win. Valtonen has not been inside a cage in a long long time as he has been polishing his skills. Valtonen might be the best pure wrestler in all of Honour and he will look to exploit that in this one. If Kota is aggressive on takedown attempts Juuso might try and keep it standing just to point out Kota with all the take downs defended. Then again he might just try to out wrestle Kota on the ground and look for his own finishes once the fight hits the mat. This will be a grappling war and I have to pick the better grappler to win by decision and that Kuuso Valtonen. Preliminary Bout Number 3- Lightweight Fight (155lbs) Todd Frazier (0-0) {0-0} versus [#5] Winston Churchill (1-1) {1-0} Frazier will be making his professional debut and he has a huge challenge in front of him. Frazier does have a bit of boxing but he is out matched in that department and he is also over matched in wrestling. He does have the Jiu Jitsu advantage so if he can get it to the ground he will be able to do some serious damage there. The number five Lightweight I am sure is aware of Frazier’s ground game and he will be looking to stop any and all takedown attempts. Churchill has one key to victory in this one and that is stay off the ground. All signs point to Churchill winning this fight but for some reason I want to pick Frazier since there is no book on him. That is exactly what I am going to do, so I got Frazier to win by submission in the third and final round of the fight. Preliminary Bout Number 4- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs) Ads "Striker" Barton (0-1) {0-1} versus Hal Tamner (2-2) {0-0} This is a very interesting fight and both of these guys are coming off a big loss. Barton lost his debut and he should be looking for that first taste of victory in this fight. He is the better striker but he is lacking in the wrestling department. Barton should look to do some damage in the beginning but as the fight goes deeper and deeper he should look to counter more as he should fear the takedown from Tamner. Hal will have a slight wrestling advantage and if he wants to go the distance he should be able to win the fight by stealing rounds with takedowns. If he wants to finish this fight quickly he will need the ground and pound, as standing in the center of the cage and teeing off with Barton would be a terrible strategy. I am going to pick Barton to win this fight by TKO in the second round. Preliminary Bout Number 5- Heavyweight Fight (265lbs) Jonny "LoL" Porrada (1-0) {0-0} versus Softly "The Sanguine Giant" Weeping (0-0) {0-0} Porrada won his pro debut but now it’s time to make his organization debut and that is a little harder than just a QFC fight. Porrada is at a disadvantage in this fight but what he doesn’t have in skill he can make up in other places. A twenty five year olds physical shape should be better than twenty year olds, and he has actually had a professional fight in his career which could also make a big difference. If I was Porrada I would really mix my strikes up well and look for body head combinations. Weeping has some stand up skill and he would likely be able to stand and bang with everyone in the division if he wanted to. I don’t think that would be his number one choice in any fight though as he is a world class wrestler and he holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Weeping will look to grapple and if he can get Porrada wrapped up for a second he should be able to force him to tap out. I am going with Weeping to win this fight by submission in the first round. Main Card Bout Number 1- Heavyweight Fight (265lbs) [# 5] Tomasz "Dynamo" Nawarecki (2-2) {1-0} versus "zabijak" Petr Skalny (1-1) {0-1} Nawarecki is on a two fight win streak and that includes his Honour debut. Nawarecki is currently ranked fifth in the Heavyweight division and a win here could get him very close to a title shot. Tomasz does not have an over powering ground game but he does know how to use it as he won by rear naked choke in his last fight. He should look for the ground game to be his friend here one more time. Skalny lost his debut but now he is looking to get back into the winners circle. If he can turn this fight into a strike fest he will have no troubles doing so, but if this hits the floor Skalny will be in big trouble. If I was Skalny I would stay away from anything that could get me taken down while still being as aggressive as I can. He might want to work the body to tire out Nawarecki and then go from there. I think Tomasz will get the fight to the ground and get another submission victory this one coming in the late part of round number one. Main Card Bout Number 2- Featherweight Fight (145lbs) [# 4] Tyson "The Prince Of Perfection" Niel (2-1) {0-0} versus [# 3] Pedro "The Monster Of The Andes" Lopez (1-0) {0-0} Both of these fighters will be making their Honour debut and they are debuting at the number three and four spots on the rankings. These two are coming into Honour with a lot of talk going on about them so the pressure is even bigger. Beating a top ranked guy in the division could easily give one of these two a shot at the Featherweight title. Niel will be looking for the clinch as he has been able to execute it well in the past. He has very dangerous knees and he will want to land more than a few in this one Lopez won his last fight by dominating on the ground but he seemed as though he didn’t want to be there. He should think about using the ground game in this fight as well since Tyson Niel’s wrestling has been questionable in the past. Lopes in a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu so I am sure he will make short work of Niel and get the win in the first round by submission after a quick take down. Main Card Bout Number 3- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs) Tony "Scarface" Drago (5-1) {0-0} versus Bisse Stobe (1-0) {0-0} Drago has one of the best records in the Light Heavyweight division but all of his fights came in the QFC. There is no telling what kind of skilled guys you would face and I am sure that held Drago’s ranking back a bit. He has a chance to show off his skills in this one though, and he should show off his hands. He has great stand up and if he relies on his wrestling to keep himself in a standing position he should be able to get a quick win. Stobe is a well-rounded fighter and he can handle himself with a stand up fighter or ground fighter but he is not dominate at either. With that being said his Jiu Jitsu is the only advantage he will have in this fight so he should look to get it to the ground where he could then start working a submission. I am picking Drago to win this fight by knockout early in round one, but only if he keeps the fight standing. Co Main Event Main Card Bout Number 4- Heavyweight Title Fight (265lbs)http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20140517210156belt.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/24/24w19.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/6/6w5.jpg [#2] Vihtori "Trt" Kellolinnake (4-1) {0-0} versus [# 3] Fred "The Fredinator" Frederiksen (2-0) {1-0} These two are facing off for the Heavyweight Title but both fighters are coming in ranked below number one. I would almost garuntee that the winner of this fight would have his first title defense against number one ranked Burak "Big" Mihalev and that would certainly put some butts in the seats. Kellolinnake is four and one and all of the fights came at super heavyweight. Now he will be facing smaller fighters instead of bigger fighters and I would think his TKO’s are going to sky rocket. I think he will be looking to knockout Frederiksen. Fred will also be looking for the knockout win which would put his record up to three and o with all three wins coming via TKO. Now Frederiksen likes to put people to sleep through ground and pound versus your typical striking so he will be looking for early takedowns. I think Kellolinake stops all the takedowns and counters with some big strikes as he will take this home with a first round knockout. Co Main Event Main Card Bout Number-5 Bantamweight Fight http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/2/2w6.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/3/3w13.jpg [# 1] The Sigit (8-0-1){0-0-0} versus Pelle Kickelssen (1-0) {0-0} The Sigit is not only the number one ranked fighter at Bantamweight he is currently ranked number one Pound for Pound here in Honour. Management already had a title fight signed between Osbourne and Boesh when The Sigit was brought in or I am sure that title fight would have been his. The Sigit needs to win this so he can go on to face Boesh and a second title to carry around since he is still the current Bulldogs upcommings Champion. Kickelssen is coming into the bout with a lot less hype and a record of just one and o. He has an uphill climb to beat The Sigit but if he does that should shoot him straight to the top of the division. Kickelssen can win this fight if he keeps it standing but he will have no chance on the ground. The Sigit can handle himself in the stand up as well but it’s not one sided. I got The Sigit winning this fight via submission in the first round, but do not count Kickelssen out of this one he could really challenge The Sigit. Well that will wrap up our night. Look for the new rankings to come out after this event and then of course the review of this awesome event. I will see you guys next time!
  7. The fast finishes continue for HFC as at our third event only four of the fight got out of the first and only one went the distance. The 135 title was decided in exciting fashion and a heavyweight contender emerged. Let’s get to the action. Stromberg vs Pike: Stromberg was coming off a loss to the 205 champ Vidal while Pike was making his promotional debut. This was another example of one fighter wanting to stay up and the other to go down. Stromberg got his way early as he was able to get Pike off his feet. From there he went to work with ground and pound and managed to get the stop late in the first. Stromberg was happy to get back on the horse but still likely finds himself in the middle of the pack at 205. Pike takes a tough loss here but since it was only his first fight in the company there won’t be a hard fall for him. Barnes vs Perruzi: Our first fight saw a man looking to get in the winners circle after taking a loss in his first match with HFC and a newcomer looking to make an impression. This fight was the same but with a different result. Perruzi was looking to get a win after a tough loss to Cross in his first fight. He once again was looking to go to the ground against the newcomer Barnes who was looking to stay in the clinch. Oddly enough it was Barnes who decided to take this fight to the ground after battering Perruzi in the clinch. Once on the ground Barnes showed that even there he was superior. Barnes wasted little time securing a kimura for the victory. This is a big win for Barnes as he now puts the 145 division on notice. As for Perruzi this is another tough loss and he will likely find himself needing to start from the bottom of the continuously expanding 145 division. Sobiesky vs Sioldster: This was the first fight in the company for both men and they were able to put on a very entertaining fight. Sobiesky was all over Sioldster in the first round. He secured a takedown early and went to work on the ground. Sioldster was not able to get to his feet and looked to be in trouble as the round ended. Feeling the pressure Sioldster stepped it up in the second round. Sioldster used his superior striking to rock Sobiesky. He was not able to finish him then but after allowing his opponent back to his feet Sioldster landed a shot that left his opponent out cold. The win is a good one for Sioldster in a 185 division that has yet to really be established. Sobiesky showed a lot of early promise in this fight and should not be overlooked to come back very strong. Bowman vs Trzcinski: This is the first rematch in HFC history. After scoring a quick knockout in their first fight Trzcinski was looking to duplicate the result. This time, however, Bowman was prepared. This time he was able to successfully get the fight to the ground where he was able to score a big submission victory. Bowman did take some licks in this fight but was able to maintain composer. No doubt what is next for these two as the trilogy will need to be completed. Biggsby vs Melo: Both of these fighters were coming of losses in their HFC debuts and were in search of a win. Melo wanted this fight on the ground where Biggsby has been shown to be a little weak. Biggsby couldn't get anything going on the feet and missed on almost everything. Melo got the takedown and controlled round one and was able to score another takedown in round two. The second time he was able to capitalize and get the finish with a submission victory to put him in winners circle for first time in HFC. Melo will move toward the top of the 185 pound pack with the win and Biggsby will find himself with a long way to go. Stephens vs Newton: This fight featured a pair of fighters making their debuts in HFC. Stephens had a plan that he implemented early and often, go to the clinch and beat Newton up. Credit to Newton’s chin though as he endured major punishment throughout the first round. Newton was cut and rocked but managed to survive the round. Stephens wasted no time in the second though as he finished it with a knockout just five seconds in. Stephens looked fantastic and needed to stand out in the crowded 205 pool. Newton will look to use that tough chin and get back on track. Mustalaanen vs Fredrikson: Mustalaanen and Fredrikson were both making their first appearances in HFC. Fredrikson had a bit of fight experience but it really never got to show in this one. Mustalaanen wanted this fight on the ground and he wasted no time getting it there. From there it was an onslaught of ground and pound that put an end to the fight. Mustalaanen is slightly undersized at 205 but it will be interesting to see if he continues to use that to his advantage. Fredrikson still has a wealth of experience to draw on so don't forget about him yet. Nuts vs Scott: Let me just say that this may have been the first time in HFC history that I was able to pronounce both fighters names and that made me very very happy. Anyway both fighters were fittingly fighting right before the 135 title fight as this fight had major title implications. Scott was clearly looking to go to the ground but despite his constant attempts Nuts did a great job staying upright. Nuts was able to then pick Scott apart with shots before landing a huge uppercut that took Scott out of the fight. 135 is still fairly unproven so Scott will not see a huge fall. As for Nuts, look for him to see a title fight or a number one contenders fight next. Boesh vs Osbourne: The 135 title was on the line and both fighters held nothing back to get it. With all the fast finishes in HFC's history this was a hell of a fight to see. Both fighters went back and forth playing to their strengths. Osbourne wanted the fight on the ground and in the first round he accomplished the goal. Osbourne was actually able to get the fight to ground often in this fight but he did have some trouble keep Boesh there. On the feet Boesh was clearly the superior fighter. Boesh was moving to the clinch a lot in this fight which was an interesting choice given his proven KO power. He was extremely accurate tonight though and that was key. After trading rounds the fight was definitely up for grabs in the final round. In the final round Osbourne was able to score a pair of takedowns but was not able to do much with them. Boesh was able to do some damage in the clinch and picked up the win in this thrilling fight. Boesh will have several contenders looking to take the title from him and with a win or two Osbourne will be among them again. Osbourne will certainly remain relevant and will still be among the top contenders. Mihalev vs Mustalaanen: No this is not the same Mustalaanen who fought earlier in the card. This was an interesting fight since both fighters wanted to be on the ground. Mustalaanen took the fight to ground early and tried to work submissions. Mihalev was happy to oblige and did some good work improving his position. Once in a better position he used big elbows to get the ref to step in and stop the fight. With this win Mihalev moves to the top of the 265 contenders list. As for Mustalaanen it would be foolish to think we have seen the last of him. He ran in a bit of a style nightmare in this fight and will need to improve a little if he wants to get the better of Mihalev if they ever fight again.
  8. Thanks everyone. I think I can speak for Showtime on this, We hated running an org the first two or three weeks. Now that its running smothe and everyone seems happy I want to put in as much work as I can to make it just as fun for the other managers as it is for me right now. If anyone has any suggestions to make the org even better please let me know. Right now we cannot affored a poster guy but as soon as we start turning a profit we will upgrade to that. Anything else though post it here or PM me or Showtime and we will try to incorperate it.
  9. Hopefully I can update this list for all of you after each event. I will apologize now if I miss a week or two, but if it’s something not so unexpected maybe Showtime will be able to take over. Who knows, maybe I won’t ever miss a week… I would like to bring you a top five list of fighters from each weight class and a top ten pound for pound. When I do this list I will be looking at all sorts of things from the fighters records, hype/pop, record in Honour, skill set, finishes, ect, ect. The first few will be much harder than the future ones since most of the fighters have only fought once or maybe twice in HFC. Well lets kick things off with the heavyweights. Heavyweight Top 5 Burak "Big" Mihalev (10-2) {1-0} A recents win over Tino Mustalaanen pushed him to number and now he is the most likely fighter to face the winner of Kellolinnake versus Frederiksen which will put the Heavyweight strap on the line Vihtori "Trt" Kellolinnake (4-1) {0-0} Kellolinnake is currently on a two fight win streak but all five of his previous fights came over at Infinity. He will be making his Honour debut with a shot at the title and become the tops of the division on June, 28th 2014. Fred "The Fredinator" Frederiksen (2-0) {1-0}- Frederiksen earned his title opportunity at Honour 1 when he was able to TKO Brute Force in just twelve seconds. He will take on Kellolinnake in his next bout and the winner of that fight will most likely take on Mihalev. Moistly "The Wet One" Seeping (5-2) {0-0} – Seeping is coming off a win in his last fight and he will be making his debut to HFC on July 12th. The fight is still pending so we don’t know who his opponent will be but any win will be able to move him up in the rankings as two of these guys will have to be seeing a loss or a draw over the next few months as they are tied up with the title. Seeping could be looking at a title shot with a win or two. Tomasz "Dynamo" Nawarecki (2-2) {2-2}- Alright it’s an even record. Nawarecki is two and two but he is on a two fight win streak which includes his HFC debut which he won via submission by way of rear naked choke against Varnius Pratotipas Honour-2 Swift vs Darrell. Light Heavyweight Top 5 Antonio "Cavalo Louco" Vidal (9-1) {1-0} The Light Heavyweight Champion made quick work of Karl Stromberg at Honour one via submission by way of Triangle. Vidal has yet to sign his fight offer against Eastwood for the title so we will keep a close eye on that. Bob "Probie" Probert (6-1) {0-0} Probert has moved to HFC from WFL in the last few days and he has instantly become one of the top fighters in the division. The reason being his impressive record which includes six TKO’s, with five of them coming in the first round, 2 knockouts, and one highlight reel spinning back fist. Probert’s only loss came in a title fight which he bounced back right away from. Look for Probert to be going after the title very soon. Clint "Cowboy" Eastwood (2-0) {1-0}- Eastwood earned his title shot by winning at Honour 1 by knockout in the first round. Eastwood has signed his intent to fight Vidal for the title on the 12th of July but a fight has not yet been announced. Kyosti Mustalaanen (2-0) {1-0} Mustalaanen defeated Teijo Fredrikson on Saturday and that jumped him into the top five. Kyosti did have an impressive finish in that fight and his undefeated record gives him a great title shot resume. Tony "Scarface" Drago (5-1) {0-0}- Drago has a great record of five and one but he has yet to fight for a true MMA organization which is holding him back on this list. He fights Stobe on Saturday and that could bump him to number four. Middleweight Top 5 Psycho Boy (1-0) {1-0}- Boy made his debut at Honour-1 Stromberg vs Vidal. He won that fight by knockout via superman punch in the third round of the fight. That pushed him to the number one spot and he is a win away from getting a title shot. Up next for Boy is number two rankek Esko Tikkanen at Honour 5. Esko Tikkanen (1-2) {1-0}- The only reason Boy versus Tikkanen is not for the title is the fact that Tikkanen currently has a losing record. He dropped his first two fights but he looked great in his HFC debut as he defeated Nonito Melo at Honour-2 Swift vs Darrell. Nonito Melo (4-3) {1-1}- Melo was three and two and near the middle of the pact in Barbarian Fight club in Rio de Janeiro so he moved over to HFC and became a contender instantly. He lost at HFC 2 but got a quick turnaround win at HFC 3. If Melo could string together another win or two he will be at the top of the division. "The Firestarter" Spontaneous Combustion (3-5) {0-0} Combustion is on a two fight losing streak and he was three and four at East Coast Fighting League. He will be looking to move up by defeating number five ranked Dario Silva at Honour 5 on the 5th of July 2014. Dario "The Killer" Silva (4-5) {0-0} Silva is also on a two fight losing streak at our parent company Honor Fighting Championship in Las Vegas. Silva and Combustion will be going one on one possiably to fight the winner of Boy versus Tikkanen for the Middleweight Championship. Welterweight Top 5 Ci Chulainn (5-2) {0-0} Chulainn is getting the first crack at the Welterweight Championship on the 5th of July 2014 against number two ranked Radostan Tugbajev. Ci had a very impressive run at Ascension Amsterdam until his last fight which was for the title and he came up short. Chulainn does not want to come up short again. Radostan "The Horror" Tugbajev (2-0) {1-0} Tugbajev earned his title shot by defeating Orlov a Honour one. He was able to pick up that win with a first round kimura submission victory in that bout and he will look to get another quick win, this time for the title. Jerrod Murphy (3-1) {1-0} The three and one Murphy is coming off an impressive submission of the night at Honour-2 Swift vs Darrell over Matt Hold. One more win could give him a title shot in the very near future. Pud Pad Noyworawoot (4-0) {0-0} Pud Pad is a QFC tournament winner and that takes up his entire four and o record. He was able to take down a field of sixteen to be crowned the winner and now he will have a chance to take down Thomas Hawk who is fresh off a HFC win. Tom Bowman (1-1) {1-1} Bowman was a part of HFC history when he competed in the first rematch in company history. Bowman was knocked out in seventeen seconds at Honour-1 Stromberg vs Vidal by Daniel Trzcinski. Bowman was able to submit Daniel Trzcinski in their rematch at Honour-3 Boesh vs Osbourne. I am not sure if we will be getting a trilogy but I am sure if the fighters want it they will get it. Lightweight Top 5 "Nature Boy" Quentin DeBramalo (2-1) {1-0} DeBramalo won his HFC debut by defeating a ranked opponent. That is what pushed him up to number one and I don’t see why his next fight shouldn’t be for the vacant 155lbs title. Quentin has great skill and if he gets a hold of that title he should be keeping it for a long time. Miguel "Sari-Sari" Santiago (3-3) {0-0} Santiago is three and three but he is currently riding high with a two fight win streak. A win over Erkki Heimolainen on July 5th 2014 could give him enough push to face DeBramalo to become the first Lightweight Champion. Ardan Chulainn (1-1) {1-0} Ardan improved his record to one and one when he defeated Biggsby at Honour-2 Swift vs Darrell. Chulainn has a fight under offer and he should only be one win away from a title fight. Erkki Heimolainen (1-0) {0-0} Heimolainen is one and o but he has yet to get a win in HFC. He does face number two ranked Miguel Santiago and win could give him a shot at the title if it jumps him over Chulainn. Winston Churchill (1-1) {1-0} Churchill got his HFC debut win at Honour-1 Stromberg vs Vidal in a fight which earned him fight of the night honors. He will be looking to stay in the top five with a win over Todd Frazier this Saturday. A few more wins and he could be looking at title shot but much further down the road. Featherweight Top 5 John Swift (3-0) {1-0} Swift won his first fight in HFC by winning the vacant title against Harmon Darrell. Swift was very impressive in that fight at and he was able to continue his winning streak early in the second round. As of right now there is no title defense scheduled for John Swift. Brady "Big Fist" Barnes (3-1) {1-0} Barnes got an impressive submission and won submission of the night at Honour-3 Boesh vs Osbourne. Barnes has a fight on offer and if he wins it he should be looking at a chance against Swift for the title. Pedro "The Monster Of The Andes" Lopez (1-0) {0-0} Lopez has a fight against the number four ranked fighter at Featherweight in HFC and the winner of that should be the next one to face Swift, unless Barnes is able to hold on to the spot. Lopez has only one fight under his belt but a two and o record might be the perfect match up for the three and o Swift. Tyson "The Prince Of Perfection" Niel (2-1) {0-0} Niel is back from a tour of Japan as he was in three fights over there. He went two and one and he has returned to Helsinki to continue his career. If he defeats Pedro Lopez he too could be in line for a title shot against Swift. Sergei "Crusher" Ce (1-0) {0-0} Ce just signed a contract with HFC but his one and o record has him already ranked in the top five. He currently doesn’t have a fight offer but he is also possibly one fight away from a title fight. Bantamweight Top 5 The Sigit (8-0-1) {0-0-0} The Sigit will make his debut this Saturday against Pelle Kickelssen. I am sure if he defeats Pelle he will be the next title contender considering he is already ranked above the champ. Look for that fight to take place in the middle or end of July. Jonny "Showtime" Boesh (4-1) {2-0} Boesh earned is short notice title chance with a win at Honour-2 Swift vs Darrell against Anton Kujwanen. He then went on to defeat Osbourne at Honor-3 in what might be the best fight in the young history of HFC. After that classic five round spectacle Boesh will await his next opponent. Anna Velvet (4-0) {0-0} Valvet is four and o but all four wins came using kickboxing rules. We will have to see the MMA transition to be smooth if Velvet wants to remain undefeated. This will be tough to do with all the great wrestlers the HFC Bantamweight division has to offer. Slap "Your" Nuts (4-2) {1-0} Nuts won his debut which extended his winning streak to three and his overall record to four and two. Nuts has a fight under offer and another win should propel him into the conversation about getting a title shot. Chacho "The Tornado" Vasilevski (1-0) {0-0} Chacho is currently undefeated like two other fighters above him in the division. He will have to string together a few wins before he is a true title contender but the upside to Chacho is so big he could be the future of the division. Alright that will take care of all our division. I also have a top ten pound for pound ranking but the descriptions of the fighter will not be used. http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/2/2w6.jpg The Sigit (8-0-1) {0-0-0} (#1 Bantamweight) http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/34/34w25.jpg Antonio "Cavalo Louco" Vidal (9-1) {1-0} [#1 Light Heavyweight] http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/21/21w18.jpg Burak "Big" Mihalev (10-2) {1-0} [#1 Heavyweight] http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13961928853553.png Bob "Probie" Probert (6-1) {0-0} [#2 Light Heavyweight] http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/34/34b1.jpg John Swift (3-0) {1-0} [#1 Featherweight] http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/21/21w26.jpg Jonny "Showtime" Boesh (4-1) {2-0} [#2 Bantamweight] http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/30/30b15.jpg Ci Chulainn (5-2) {0-0} [#1 Welterweight] http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/27/27b10.jpg Brady "Big Fist" Barnes (3-1) {1-0} [#2 Featherweight] http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/24/24w19.jpg Vihtori "Trt" Kellolinnake (4-1) {0-0} [#2 Heavyweight] http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/23/23w1.jpg Anna Velvet (4-0) {0-0} [#3 Bantamweight] I hope all of you enjoyed the weekly rankings. Please let us know what you think on the Smack Talk Thread linked here http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=43526 The weekly rankings, previews, and all reviews will be posted on there and we would all appreciate each and every one of your opinions. Sorry guys that my word processor is not working right. It has labeled everyone at one, on the PM I sent out it should have the correct numbers but its typed out twice for some reason. I will get this sorted for the next rankings but all the weight classes and the Pound for Pound list is set from 1 to 5 or 1 to 10.
  10. All of my fighters are 230K Id but i would still like to be a part of this. It seems like it would be a lot of fun. With that being said I would sign up only if a team needed me at 200k. At 220k I would be searching for a team. Hope all goes well and I will keep updated with this thread to see were it goes.
  11. jsut start talking and sometimes people will start talking s well. SirCastorRollins, superman, justicebringer or dramabringer is all castor and he is usully active, Wolf, Dinooo1, Shortfuse, nando, KBeast or just Beast are a few of the many who are active. If we are on idle just say whats up nando, i will respond usully with in a minute or two.
  12. Wolf there are plenty of writers here. You would be surprized. I could name 5 right off the top of my head maybe more, and that is not counting the people who have stopped writing because they no longer need to. Those people may come back to writing with an idea like this becasue it could be more lucritive market with a system like this in place.
  13. http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1400358715HFC.jpg Each event has gotten bigger and better since the beginning and I am sure it will continue with Honour 3- Boesh versus Osbourne. Those two will do battle in a five round match up for the bantamweight title and we have plenty of other exciting fights to go along with it. Preliminary Bout Number 1- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs) Pakile "The Pikeman" Pike (1-1) {0-0} versus Karl "The Megalomaniac" Stromberg (0-2) {0-1} The Pikeman is a well-rounded fighter who will be coming into this one with a one and one record. He took his loss via TKO after he was ground and pounded out of the fight, but he was able to bounce back and get a submission victory in his second fight. It seems Pike will want this fight on the ground and I am sure Stromberg will be happy to oblige. Karl is a wrestler at heart and he does have some ground and pound skills but he is very one dimensional which explains his o and two record. For a wrestler he has terrible submission defense and that should play into the hands of his opposition in this one. I got Pike winning this fight by submission early in round number one. Preliminary Bout Number 2- Featherweight Fight (145lbs) Brady "Big Fist" Barnes (2-1) {0-0} versus Stefano "The Huntington Beach Badb" Perruzi Barnes is two and one and he will look to continue his two fight win streak in this one. He has won fights via submission and brutal head kick knockout so we know he will mix it up on the ground or standing up. His best bet in this one will be taking it to the mat but we will have to see if he can get it there. Perruzi will be looking to do something different in this match up than his previous bouts as he is coming in with a zero and two record. I think he will need to protect from the takedown and look to counter strike the heavy handed Barnes if he plans on getting the all-important first victory. I am going to go with Barnes in this fight, but if he decides to stand it could easily go either way. Preliminary Bout Number 3- Middleweight Fight (185lbs) Louis Sobiesky (1-0) {0-0} versus Mike "The Swine" Sioldster (0-1) {0-0} This fight will be the first on the event card that features two fighters making their Honour debuts. Sobiesky is one and o and his win came by decision after he was very aggressive in the take down department. Louis was able to stay pretty active while the fight was on the ground but he was unable to get the finish. Sioldster lost his only fight by decision in what was a stand up war. He showed everyone how good of a striker he is, and he also showed the world his granite chin. This is a simple fight to break down as Soildster gets the win if the fight remains standing while Sobiesky wins if the fight goes to the floor. I think Sioldster has the wrestling to keep this fight standing so I am picking him to win the fight by TKO in the third round. Preliminary Bout Number 4- Welterweight Fight (170lbs) Tom Bowman (0-1) {0-1} versus Daniel "Tytan" Trzcinski (1-1) {1-0} This is the first ever rematch in Honour Fighting Championship. These two hooked it up at Honour 1 and Trzcinski was able to knock Bowman out in just seventeen seconds. We all have heard about Tom Bowman’s knockout power but he was unable to even fire off an attempt as he was cut early and it seem to take away all of his morale. He should be looking to come into this one with a lot more aggression so he can get the knockout instead of it going the same way it did the last time. This could set up the first trilogy in Honour history but I don’t think that will be the case as I am taking Trzcinski to win again by knockout in the first round. Preliminary Bout Number 5- Middleweight Fight (185lbs) Clinton Biggsby (1-3) {0-1} versus Nonito Melo (3-3) {0-1} This is a very interesting fight because from what I am understading this will be Nonito Melo’s last fight. His manager has expressed concerns of splitting ways with Melo and this could be his last hurrah. Biggsby is in a similar situation as he needs to start winning before management parts ways with him as well. Clinton is doing everything in his power to impress the front office of Honour as he moved up in weight to take this fight on short notice. Biggsby will be coming into this fight giving up almost twenty pounds on top of a few inches so I have to pick Melo to win this fight and get his first finish with a second round TKO. Main Card Bout Number 1- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs) "Big" Ron Jeremy Stephens (1-0) {0-0} versus Jorge "Gravity Fighter" Newton (1-0) {0-0} Both of these fighters are bringing in to their Honour debuts an undefeated record. They are both one and o and both of their wins came by first round knockouts. Not only where they first round knockouts but they were brutal quick knockouts. Stephens relies on his boxing and he loves to throw combinations so he will be looking to get to the inside of Newton and then start throwing leather. Newton on the other hand is going to want to stay on the outside so he can throw his kicks, which is his strength. I have not seen him throw any punches so he might be at a loss if Big Ron can get to the inside. I think Stephens will be able to bull rush his way to the inside and get the first round knockout for the win. Main Card Bout Number 2- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs) Kyosti Mustalaanen (1-0) {0-0} versus Teijo "Fredi" Fredrikson (2-3-1) {0-0} Mustalaanen will be looking to keep his record unblemished in this one. He is currently one and o and his strong wrestling background may allow him to remain undefeated. He should look for the takedown early and often which is how he got his second round TKO in his debut. Fredirkson is trying to get things turned around. After starting his career off at two and one he has fallen to two three and one. A win here will get his record back to five hundred and give him the confidence needed to put together a little winning streak. For Fredrikson to win he will need to stay off the ground but I think Mustalaanen’s wrestling is just too good for that so I am picking Kyosti Mustalaanen to win by TKO in the second round via ground and pound. Main Card Bout Number 3- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs) Leo "Hitman" Scott (1-0) {0-0} versus Slap "Your" Nuts (3-2) {0-0} Leo Scott is a young gun looking to prove that he should be facing the big boys. He is only eighteen years old and he has a one and o record. In his only fight he was able to squeak out a majority decision in a three round war. The very self-confident fighter showed off his wrestling abilities in that fight by landing several takedowns and then controlling most of the fight from the ground. Nuts is three and two and one and one at bantamweight. He has only been finished once and he has yet to finish any of his opponents. He currently riding a two fight win streak and to continue that he is going to need to out wrestle Scott when the fight goes to the ground. While standing Nuts will have a huge advantage so we will have to see how good his takedown defense and transitions are in this one. This is a tough fight to predict but I am going to go with Scott winning by decision. Co Main Event, Main Card Bout Number 4- Bantamweight Title Fight (135lbs)http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20140517210156belt.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/21/21w26.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/30/30w16.jpg Jonny "Showtime" Boesh (3-1) {1-0} versus Norman "The Green Goblin" Osbourne (1-0) {0-0} This fight was thrown together at the last minute when another title fight fell through. Boesh has not had much time to recover from his last fight which took place at Honour-2 but the big win there gave him three wins in a row and management decided to give him a title fight since there was a worthy opponent. Showtime should have a huge advantage in the stand up in this one with his boxing background so he will look to mix up his strikes while trying to avoid a takedown at all costs. Osbourne is from New York and his only fight came in Rio de Janeiro. Now he is fighting in Helsinki and all that travel could play an important role in this bout. What will play an even bigger role will be Osbourne’s wrestling as he will need to get this fight to the ground as soon as possible. Osbourne showed off his wrestling in his only other fight scoring several takedowns and flashing some nice bursts of ground and pound. Norman also attempted a few submissions which prove he has a great ground game in general. I think Norman Osbourne will get the takedown and pound Jonny Boesh out or even score the submission victory, but I don’t think that happens until the fourth round of the fight. Co Main Event, Main Card Bout Number 5- Heavyweight Fight (265lbs) http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/21/21w18.jpg http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/2/2b17.jpg Burak "Big" Mihalev (9-2) {0-0} versus Tino Mustalaanen (2-1) {0-0} Mihalev is the most experienced fighter currently signed to Honour with a total of eleven fights, and he has posted a very impressive record of nine and two in those eleven fights. He has won by TKO, submission, and decision which show that he can do it all. In this one though he is going to want to concentrate on the stand up as I am sure he is not going to want to go to the ground with a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Tino Mustalaanen as mentioned is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and he is also a decent wrestler. He should look to get this fight to the ground as quickly as possible and then look for a quick submission as he will not have time to lay around and look for the perfect opportunity when he is facing such an experienced opponent. I am picking Mihalev to win this fight by TKO in the first round but if he gets taken down then all bets are off as Mustalaanen could win by submission. That will wrap up this preview and as always he will have a more eye appealing version on the smack talk thread. Please drop by the smack talk thread and let us know who you want to fight, or who you think will win upcoming fights. The smack talk thread can be found here http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=43526 as always I will see you next week with another exciting event preview.
  14. Best thing said in this topic hands down!
  15. I agree we need at least seven more. There should be at least one thread in each forum catagory. How many Anti FinnFighter shirts have you picked up already?
  16. Ladies and gentleman HFC 2 is in the books and it was another night filled with exciting fights. The judges took the night off, to the delight of every fan in the building, as every fight was finished. HFC is beginning to gain a bit of a reputation for not seeing decisions. Let’s get to the action. Nawarecki vs Pratotipas: This was a match-up of two fighters who have extremely similar styles. Both men wanted the takedown and wanted to be active from the top. Nawarecki got into some trouble early as Pratotipas opened up a cut very early in the fight. When it came to striking Pratotipas was clearly the superior fighter. He landed nearly everything he threw and managed to avoid almost everything Nawarecki had to offer. Surprisingly though, despite the success standing Pratotipas continuously tried for the takedown but was unsuccessful. Nawarecki was more successful with his takedowns as he landed all three he attempted during the fight. The end came in the second round after Nawarecki landed a big suplex and took Pratotipas’s back. The end came soon after that when he sank in the RNC for the finish. Pratotipas will have some work to do now as the heavyweight division continues to grow and Nawarecki positions himself a little closer to the top of the heap but will still need another big win to really establish himself. Balaban vs Hayden: We knew going into this fight that bombs were going to be thrown but the finish came a little faster than we would have predicted. In a fight that feature two of the best prospects in the company it was Balaban that counter Hayden with a huge head kick that lead to Balaban getting the finish. Early in the fight Hayden was hit by a low blow so it is hard to say if he was able to fully recover from it. Regardless of the outcome Hayden has a very bright future and Balaban looked like a future champion. Balaban will certainly get top competition next time out and I can’t imagine Hayden having much of a drop either. Hawk vs Zisteau: Yet another early finish was put into the books for HFC as Hawk knocked Zisteau out cold early in the fight with a beautiful combination. Zisteau clearly wanted this fight to go to the ground and it was apparent why as Hawk came out and landed everything he threw. Hawk looked like he could do no wrong on the feet and made his case for KO of the night when his left hook turned out the lights. 170 has yet to crown a champion but Hawk wanted to make it clear that he is coming and he will certainly be seeing the top of this division in the near future. Barton vs Lynch: These two men had never been in action before so HFC 2 was everyone’s first look at both men. I won’t sugarcoat it for the rest of the 205 division, Lynch looked like a beast. He came out hyper aggressive and landed shots for days. Barton tried in vein to score a takedown but failed as Lynch kept the pressure on. Barton showed some incredible durability in this fight as he was able to recover from being rocked and just absorbed a ton of punishment. I tip my cap to Barton, with that kind of chin and heart I know he will be able to bounce back. Lynch made a big statement and don’t be surprised if you see him fighting for a title in the near future. DeBramalo vs LosPalotes: This fight was between two men who wanted to end things early from the feet. LosPalotes ran into a situation that was not at all good for him though as DeBramalo showed great striking as well as strike defense. DeBramalo dodged everything while peppering his opponent with shots. The end came early when DeBramalo landed a big right hand that ended LosPalotes’s night. 155 continues to grow but with a lack of established fighters DeBramalo put his name on the short list to try and be the division’s first champion. LosPalotes won’t fall far with this loss and will look to rebound with his next fight. Murphy vs Hold: Murphy and Hold both knew how this would start and so did almost everyone else. We knew Hold would get the takedown, we knew he would try and pound out Murphy and we knew Murphy would try to submit Hold. The question was who would score the finish first. It didn’t take long for us to get our answer. Hold got the takedown and started to use his ground and pound, unfortunately for him he was a little to aggressive and found himself in a triangle from Murphy who got the win. Murphy now finds himself near the top of the 170 division with an impressive victory. Hold will look to back in the winners circle soon as 170 continues to get deeper. Chulainn vs Biggsby: Let me start by saying I thought this fight would end must quicker than it did. Biggsby showed a lot of determination but not much else in this fight. Chulainn looked fantastic dodging strikes on the feet and scoring takedowns in every round. Biggsby did manage to fend off all of Chulainn’s submissions in the first two rounds and looks to shock the world in the third when he opened Chulainn up with a head kick. The momentum was short lived though and Chulainn got the fight back to the ground and this time was able to put Biggsby away with a RNC. Biggsby will need to try and get a win next time to avoid being forgotten at 155 while Chulainn impressed big time and looks to see a top competitor. Tikkanen vs Melo: Tikkanen needed this fight and showed how bad he wanted it in this fight. This fight was extremely competitive as Melo showed his superior wrestling in the first round and came away with the round. Tikkanen would not go away though as he showed his dominance on the feet. He kept Melo from getting him back to the ground in the second and rocked him with a head kick before getting the finish. Tikkanen moves toward the middle of the pack with this win and I also believe Melo remains there. It will be interesting to see if Melo is more aggressive on the ground next time out. I could see a rematch between these two in the future as both men did win a round in this fight. Boesh vs Kujwanen: After two fights that escaped the first you knew an early finish was coming soon. It came in this fight. Boesh has displayed big power in the past so Kujwanen knew he had to be careful. Unfortunately for him he failed on his first takedown attempt and never got to try another as Boesh landed a nasty combination that ended the fight. Kujwanen will have time to rebound as 135 is still one of the lightest divisions in HFC. As for Boesh, he has already been tasked with fighting Osborn for the first HFC Bantamweight title. Swift vs Darrell: That brings us to the main event. The first featherweight title fight for HFC featured Swift, who wanted this fight on the ground, and Darrell, who wanted this fight on the feet. Swift was able to have his way in this fight as he managed to get Darrell to the ground in both rounds. Now let’s be clear here, Darrell knows how to work on the ground. Darrell tried to get a submission but Swift was able to successfully defend his attempts while landing some nasty ground and pound. The second round showed the ground and pound be to much for Darrell as Swift got the finish and the belt. Darrell will not fall of the map with this loss and it will be interesting to see if he can get back in position for another shot. Swift now has the target on his back and with 145 growing each day let’s see how long he will be able to hold the belt.
  17. Damn it I knew this would happen. Great training and a terriable Morale hidden. Oh well I am still riding with Drax, I love the way he is built and he gives me time to practice with ground sliders. Still though it was a bad debut
  18. I think that one you will have to ask the org owner. Most org owners are decent and cool people and will work with you. I know if anyone asks me to fight more in my org i make sure it happens.
  19. Lets not forget that Caray did radio for the St. Louis Cardnials and his broadcast partner was the late great Jack Buck. Best dou in sports broadcast history in my opinon. By the time Harry got to the cubs all the years of drinking took a toll on him. He would randomly tell stories that had nothing to do with baseball and he also tried to pronounce the players names backwords for no reason.
