  1. Yep, I think it mentions in the help section that they turn to no-training in that case to take on a full time job to earn money. I've had this happen once too, it's annyoing. That's why I now always check my fighter's finances religiously.

  2. Might have something to do with him participating in a QFC tournament, maybe wait one day for the tournament to finish and see if he's then able to join a gym? At least fighters in QFC orgs can't train if I remember correctly, might be the same for the tournament mode.

I think that this is the correct answer. Can't train while participating in a QFC tournament.

  3. What is the Laundry?

Buying Laundry (i.e. a max price 300$ item) from a clothing or nutrition company with a wealthy fighter is a way to transfer the fighter's money back to your manager's account. The Laundry service will keep a cut and send you the rest, minus transaction fees, after you agreed with them on the deal. Always email them first to see if they agree.

  4. Would just like to add that fighting in QFC once first will also allow you to check the "hidden" attributes of your fighters so you have a better idea if you want to sign a contract with them in the first place, or just immediately can them.

  5. Hi all,

come by and check out our brand new designs. The design team has also fixed a small glitch with the vale tudo style shorts, they now fit bitter than ever!

We also still have Laundry in stock that you can launder at only 10%!

  6. In my experience it's a lot of scouting, like Wolf says but also really carefully reading the help on slider settings over and over again. Then on top of that to answer specific questions like your "how much is needed for LnP on the ground", you can simply try by setting the sliders to a specific point and then read below on the fighter page of "Groundwork" if it says "high lay and pray". Adjust as necessary.

  7.

that's just wrong. agility will help your kicks.

Do you have a source for that? Not saying you're wrong, but I've never seen this being mentioned anywhere in the official sources. It only mentions "stand up striking", so maybe it's just implied that kicking's a part of it, but it's never explicitly called out.

This discussion is really interesting, it looks like I simply had misinterpreted this the entire time. So, flexibility is even less important then I guess (unless you're really interested in head kicks)?
