Jason Thomas [ 4188 ]
6-1 fighter.
Former 170'er, recently cut to 155.
Moved to Tokyo, but will be staying with my org in Montreal. So sponsorship's could help me take trips back to Montreal for fights.
What sub offence and sub defence skills should a black belt have?
I have a wonderful/wonderful purple belt who Im gonna get to brown, then I might sparspam to black, how much more sub offence/defence skills would i need to be a none noob blackbelt?
The competition in Montreal is crazy.
-EDIT, I just checked where my org was ranked......8TH! and the competition in this org alone is excellent, plus the 7 orgs higher ranked and I come to the conclusion, Montreal is the best city on the game.
Turned out he sucked anyway.
Ah well, not assed if I get flamed, this is the internetz anywayz.
I never really gave him a chance with training either, he was a slow ass learner so I just kept giving him quick fights.
"Hey boss - this guy keeps tapping me out in submission grappling and it’s driving me crazy. Can you hook me up with some coaching so they can explain where I’m going wrong?"
Next Gen MMA is based in Liverpool, England.
Many UK fighters train out of there, Terry Etim is originally from there, Jason Tan is a trainer there and Paul Sass trains there.
actually if the MW 18 year old tournament isnt for a while, I have a fighter that could get to LA, just need to wait til his contract expires and maybe a little cash help
I would be intereted in a future one of these, my HW is LA is 22, so a bit to old for this one.
Definitely an exciting idea, you should maybe make it two 5 minute rounds and fight every 1 or 2 weeks or so.
