  1. Be just as nasty if not worse if training was affected via cuts along with injuries. I had one guy out for 2 weeks due to a really bad cut he got, course I was still able to train him as normal. I do hope things stay the way they are now and there's no change that'd diminish training for a fighter if they're training with a cut or an injury after a fight - it's not realistic, but the current system works fine.
  2. I've noticed the same, I have one guy who I have been changing clothes a few times this week, at least once every 24 hours or so. His morale hasn't moved a bit. He's stuck at 94.7% at http://www.mmatycoon.com/assistant.php. I'm not sure what's the deal with him though.
  3. Oh snap, I got caught scouting someone Just picked the most generic name I to think up at the top of my head though.
  4. If you're VIP, go to http://www.mmatycoon.com/assistant.php You should see things like --, -, +, ++ after a training session for your fighters at lower levels like useless, abysmal, etc. But at higher levels like Wonderful, Exceptional, and Sensational takes a much longer take to see gains. IE: Fighter John Smith trained takedown defense this morning and was Abysmal-, after training he went to Abysmal+.
  5. So I decided to update this post and plan to give some more details about this guy so far. After learning about using the fighter skills page(http://mmatycoon.com/mystatssnapshot.php) and currently having this guy spar in a more controlled environment here's my results. He made Exceptional boxing in 17 sessions. A large majority of those sessions he trained with pretty much the same people, an exceptional or 2 and another wonderful with a respectable boxer. Seeing as how I realized that multiplying the current bar length of said skill(in this case boxing) by 1.5 per session here is his past result. - Before PM sparring session today he was 120.75 value in boxing. - After today's PM sparring he's 121.3 value in boxing. - Exact sparring partners are Exceptional+, Exceptional--, Wonderful-, and Respectable+ boxers. Gym quality is Brand New in equipment and pristine cleanliness, all fighter morale values are 94% or higher, their energy levels are always at 90% or more, no consecutive sparring sessions either(they do it every day PM session). - So obviously the amount gained if these factors stay identical should net him just over 0.5pts per sparring session - he should make Sensational in 17 more sparring sessions. - I took the respectable boxer out of the sparring sessions so that should make a difference(hopefully a slightly better increase) for this guy come next week. I hope that this information may help others shed some light on training and how fast or slow of a learner a fighter can be.
  6. Get it by whatever means. The only way to play the game is through VIP - OK that's a bit of an exaggeration, but you're missing out on so much for being a non-VIP user though.
  7. http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=50824 = 4-4-0 record, has won 3 out of his last 4 fights via sub, and only loss during that time was a decision for an organizational Featherweight title. Never lost to (T)KO or sub as of yet. Looking for practically any sponsor -- big ones would be nice, but small ones are fine as well.
  8. I figured that was common knowledge, usually the lesser the fighters in training a secondary the better. But from what I am trying to make out of the Op's post is that.. Situation 1: Say you got a fighter at some elite gym training striking defense with 2 other guys with a 150 Boxing/MT coach, equipment and cleanliness at Pristine/Brand new, you and the other guys have 95%+ morale and 90%+ energy, no injuries no cuts - so pretty much optimal factors going in. Your guy is Useless-- with his striking Def, guy 1 is competent+ with his striking def, and guy 2 is Remarkable++ with his striking defense. Situation 2: Now put it in a similar but different situation. All outside factors are pretty much the same(150 boxing/mt coach, pristine/brand new, same morale/energy) except.. Your guy has Useless-- Striking defense and so does guy 1 and 2. Lastly know that all 3 of the fighters undertaking Striking Defense for that session are average learners so the value is static. Would the rate of gaining a pop be any different? Would your fighter have a better chance of improving faster in situation 1 or 2? This is what I am asking. I know stuff like sparring greatly varies on how many people and the overall amount averaged out by the training partners within it. But I didn't know that learning secondaries also factors in that element of sparring. If this were the case, say you got like 4 Elite++ sub offense guys training sub offense with a 150/150 wrestling bjj coach with your useless-- guy, would he gain faster than to say training on his own with the same coach?
  9. So about 5 weeks ago I made a new project fighter/sparring dummy type of guy as a Wonderful boxer. As the past couple of weeks I've had him sparring practically every day with a couple wonderfuls and an exceptional along with a competent/respectable boxer. After 13 or so sessions with pretty much that same setup he's Wonderful ++ already. I'm curious to know if he's a quick learner or not, I did check Fast Learner as one of his hiddens when I created him. But the way he's been sailing through his boxing sparring, he might turn out to be a fast learner - at this rate he should make Exceptional in 2-3 sparring sessions I figure. I've tossed him around cheap sparring gyms and they're usually pristine/excellent or brand new in equipment, and as I already stated, the guys he's been sparring with are mostly of equal level, but 1 or 2 of my lower boxing guys join in so they can try to get pops as well. Do you think the guy in question is slow, decent, or a fast learner? [edit] Just to add I think he might be a decent learner at least but not as fast as I am expecting him to be. He went from remarkable cardio to Sensational ++(it degraded to + recently though) with a Q150 supp in 18 sessions though. So take it for what it's worth.
  10. Very much so. If Fedor did what Sergei did, it'd probably be something like Anderson vs. Leites until Fedor knocks him out.
  11. Well put, the hardcore nuthuggers are probably distraught and their world is ending at this very moment I bet. Fedor is by no means invincible or the myth people make him out to be. Werdum played it right and used his strength the best. This is why the other top P4P'ers like GSP and Anderson can be so dominant, they're capable of imposing their will and winning, Fedor sadly didn't in this case. Even Anderson when he was dancing like a fool and mocking Maia didn't go to his opponent's strength which is the ground. Fedor will come back, maybe he'll actually train BJJ this time? Or at least focus on what defensive grappling parts of Judo he does know. I'm not shitting on Fedor here either, he's still got the greatest legacy ever in any fighter of MMA. No one can take that way from him until they match it and beat it, but he is no longer in an arguable P4P top 3 list.
  12. Werdum did it right. Fedor should've known better, why bother going into the guard of a 2 time ADCC champion like Fabricio? Well, I am very sad about Fedor losing here - but gotta admit, even in defeat he's humble and almost emotionless which is just scary. Werdum vs Overeem next? That'd be great but I expect Alistair not to make the same mistake Fedor did and will probably KO Fabricio.
  13. IMO, rest at 94. 93 is my maximum threshold number before forcing them to rest. Compared to 90% you may lose a session each week for it, but I wouldn't risk it. The gains may be hard to really put into numbers varying on how what you risk in whether to rest or train at a certain number. Though I figure an exception would occur if you just trained on a very low stat. IE: Training punches from Useless to Abysmal in one session, a gain is guaranteed unless your guy has the IQ of dog poop. Also try to have your fighters with exceptional cardio or better, probably don't need to go to sensational if they're a project and you're putting them into QFC to find out their hidden(sensational cardio usually gives a "cardio machine" or "good gas tank" hidden in the 3rd slot overriding what you might have wanted to find out instead). I found out recently my Sensational ++ cardio Exceptional wrestler loses at most 1.1% energy per Striking Defense sessions. So he can do around 11 sessions per week for Striking Def while maintaining an optimal level of energy, and he uses a 156 quality recovery supp. The bottom line though is the number of factors involved. I don't necessarily think there's any clear cut answer for whether or not to train at 94% or lower or to rest. Might seem convenient at a time like training at Saturday night because Sunday you rest for 2 sessions.
  14. So I'm curious, do you or anyone know any 159 type suppliment (muscle, cardio, recovery) that is truly 159 quality and has proof of it. Right now I'm training a few guys from useless and intend to get them to exceptional ++ or sensational-- cardio with 159 cardio supps. I guess time will tell if they make 26 or so sessions in.
  15. I think this has been answered before, but Cardio is the only stat that degrades over time if not training right? If not and there others, can someone else name them. I think it's only Cardio but I am not 100% sure.
  16. That would really be convenient. I support that idea.
  17. I've been wondering this for awhile myself, I do have a couple sensational++ cardio guys and I figure that's enough to keep at the moment(most of my guys are wonderful/exceptional). But I figure going to Elite let alone Elite++ sort of a waste of time and probably gives little to no difference in even a 5 round fight. Also I'm curious at that maximum point of cardio what would be the gain for a single rest session. I guess the only bright side is you don't really have to do cardio training for quite awhile and not having to worry about your fighter's gas tank.
  18. I remember one of my older fighters before I let him go was practically sweating cardio too, and it was at Remarkable-- to superb++ each time. Same with one of my current guys(who's currently 24) who's also following the same pattern at Remarkable-- to Superb++ earlier this week. I figure age may play a factor in this, but maybe it's just a bug with low remarkable from what I gather. I have guys at Wonderful-- and Exceptional-- cardio who haven't trained it in at least a month real time who haven't dipped down to the previous level though. I'd like to think it just it is remarkable.
