  1. This is the Official Smack Talk Thread for Hybrid Fighting Association - DFC (295k+). Let the SmackTalk begin!

We are a 295k+ organization always looking for new talent. Our current focus is on helping you develop your new fighters into up and coming stars! Our roster is growing and we should have an opponent for your fighter. This is an organization with dedicated leaders who want to provide the best fighting organization experience to you. Every manager who signs a fighter with a Fight Org within the DFC franchise is considered a partner and has a say in the future of that organization.

If you call out someone here, I will likely place you against them in the next event, so be careful! As long as the fight makes sense and both managers agree and accept the fight.

    LET THE SMACK TALK BEGIN!

*I am 1 man with other obligations also, I will get back with you in a respectable time usually ijs

  2. I think in order to make weight cutting from 187 to 170 you have to have 15 conditioning and be at 100% energy - so it's possible, but easy to mess up. so for this same reason, whatever the weight class, the max weight I would do is 5 lbs under what the wiki says is the max.

    I understand.... - Thanks

  3. I probably wouldn't have a 170lb fighter walk around at more than 182, personally. And I don't like ANY fighter being underweight, even if they are a grappler, so I would never have fighters who weigh 183 or 184 unless they have 14 or better cardio and can easily cut to 170.

Ok so just so I am sure I understand correctly, 170 class you would not want to weigh more then 182. any more they could possibly not make weight? So that leads me to believe in the user guide that fight weight of 170 can have max weight at 187 and still be good. Is this outdated or I'm misunderstanding?

  4. Id go 185 since hes sleaker for the weight class he should be faster by a bit. 170 you would have trouble making weight.

I thought about the making weight piece also, but the cutting weight chart in the user help guide says max weight for 170 weight class is 187 or did I misunderstand?

  5. Not being a smartass, but . . it depends. Not at all a helpful answer on its own, so:

Is your fighter a striker or a grappler?

If he's a grappler with no standup you may want to have him fight at 185. This is so he will be faster than his opponents, which plays a large factor in getting takedowns.

If he's a striker, you want him to be more powerful than his opponents, so it would be better for him to fight at 170.

no, i mean screw you, you posted this in the wrong place. You need to be banned. ;-)

    Thanks for your response :)

  6. A simple fix in my opinion would to increase the perfect coach fighter ratio from 2:1 to maybe 10:1. Then more managers/gyms would be willing to share their gyms because they would still fill confident that their fighter isn't missing out on gains. As well as earn money in the process. Just my opinion

  7. Simply having a fighter under contract doesn't change your hype, no. It's more based off of your events; if you run an amazing first event that is filled with highly hyped fighters, you can get an incredible event rating, which will help give you a big boost to your company hype. However, I have personally witnessed companies making piss poor decisions, such as running two events on the same night, and I have seen their overall rating go DOWN as a result.

Signing a big fighter, having him fight, and then losing him won't hurt you after he leaves, no.

Ok that's more of the type of response I was looking for. Now is the attendence based off of the orgs event reputation or the strength of the card. Is it possible to have all the bestfighters on a card for your first event and sell out a MMA Grand with ppv. Or you have to build your orgs event rep up with a lot of good events first?

  8. Yes I read that in wiki also, but that's not exactly what I'm asking. First 2 questions basically I'm trying to find out:

if the event has great fights does rhe org hype grow?

    Or

Is it based off of the hype of the fighters contracted to the org

To keep it even simpler.... If all the fighters with the highest hype fight on the same card the event ratings I would imagine would be off the charts. But, what if they was only contracted for 1 fight. Does my Org hype now take a hit because they are no longer on the roster?

  9. Is the Fight Org Hype based on the events held?

    Or

The hype of the fighters contracted to that Org?

    -

Is the event ratings based off of the fights at that particular event?

    Or

How many events that the Org has had divided by that, multiplied by this, averaged by those etc, etc, etc? lol - You get what I mean...right?

  10. I have been extremely active in 2016 and login daily. If you would be willing to make an exception with the VIP requirement I fit all the other requirements very well. Interested in joining and hope you consider.

  11. I truly appreciate it, I have a mentor sort of. He found me and has continued to helped me whenever I call on him. We actually have a common bond so that makes his mentorship even better. But I do plan on moving slow and steady. I'm locked in for a couple years so I plan on growing with the rest of you. One thing I noticed through studying this atmosphere is that you need a active team and a plan to be in the upper echelon of the fight world. Thank you for the financial contribution and I'll see you at the top.
