  1. I played a game called Anstoss 3. There you had many many private game incidents that were very funny and make the game interesting. Here are my thoughts, I hope you read it Miketycoon. I think all the fighters seem to be the same build: fast learner, ko power big heart (and few variations) Now lets penalize all the same attributes, and penalize if you do not have others in order to make things interesting. And at the same time, we can enter a money sink for the rich orgs and fighters. a)Also, include a variable that only the fighters from the 20 richest orgs get those money penalties in order to avoid grief and dissatisfaction. Include only the richest fighters, and those that do not have a fight in the next 10 days money sinks )loosing money immediately or need to buy clothes): Intelligence Fighters that are not intelligent Buy worthless investment papers and loose 50% cash Sign contracts for useless houses and loose 50% cash Step into the wrong airplane and they are stranded in a wrong city (I think that one is hilarious) Big heart Fighters that have big hearts: Donate half their cash to a homeless on the street Are changing to vegetarians and lose half their energy until their stomach adepts to the new food. Help an old lady to do their shopping and miss a training session determined Fighters that are determined/self confident: Take on 2 enemies during sparring session and lose 20 points of energy. A lady throws their drink on them in a bar when they try to hit on her. (they lose 50% morale) KO power: Crush the hand of a sponsor partner during a handshake fotosession and get sued. Loose 50% of the cash. hilarious Crush....(insert here whatever you want)..... the doorknob of their home and can not leave. Lose one training session and 500$ cash unexperienced: they have a hard time at the local gym where all the pro's make fun of them. (20% morale drop) Random messages: First of April: They stop their career and move on to porn business (joke) (there are many things you can insert here) Christmas: Nobody bought them a Christmas present 100% morale drop. They ate too much, they gain 10 pounds. New Years eve: They drunk too much. 1 point balance loss (hilarious) If you want more ideas and consequences, tell me if you like the general idea mike.
  2. you are a small baby that cries "I am hungry", and then complains about soup instead of cake.... seriously, only because you have been crying all the time about one thing, doesn't mean that another improvement is bad........
  3. So is the ppv already over? how did it go?
  4. -1 I am against a schedule. It is a little edge that more active players have over non active players. And the edge is very small, considering that you have 12 hours inbetween sessions. It forces you to log in a few times. (of course you log in to see the training results) So let's say you have 3 times weight, 3 times cardio, and 6 times recovery suplements you use. If you do right timing you have to log in 3 times a week. That should be possible.......... And if you miss one, well that is a tiny little edge the active players have over the non active.
  5. in a small game, you can control the anger and abuse. when you grow bigger, it is like a hurrican over water. It generates more and more energy and people get heat up and start side flamewars. And no normal discussion will be possible. Indeed, whenever people have to accept disadvantages, it is better to avoid the scond guessing.
  6. Just as a reminder. Many many many producers put out timelines, and ETAs that their programmers can not match. It is always like that, you have an idea, and what the reality to match that idea, you polish and finish everywhere. But when you gave out a timeline, people think they have some right, or the programmer has a duty to meet that schedule. It is horrible to see that many people feel betrayed when they organised all their time in expectation of that timeline and the programmer cant keep his timeline. They start feel abused and lied too, they think the programmer only steals their money with promises. On the other side, if the programmer rushes things, it is worse. People feel like the programmer can't keep his promises, and is incompetent and not trustworthy. So timelines are far worse than everything Mike has done so far.
  7. Ah, I understand. But you do see the logic in having this in a new city.
  8. Just one other thing I like to add. And, me, for my part, I am very happy that you try out something new on a system that is clearly broken! And some people should start seeing it from that perspective too. Small minded crybabies they are. Mike, you could have done this before Hilo came out. The next new city should be the place where all the fighters start the same way. This way we have an even playing field, and the newbies are a little closer to the old ones concerning the training organisation.
  9. as you saw for yourself, it is not hard to be clever with you. just one clear sentence with an information that everyone could get, and I seem to have hit you right on spot. come on, don't be so grumpy.
  10. Always training the same thing will decrease the improvement and the moral. Every trainer in the world will tell you this. What you say is just not true. You invent reasons that sound logical, but are not true. Everyone does variations in his training. True, they train cardio for a month, but they train it through various methods. And, nobody knows yet how long you can train stuff without taking a negative effect, yet you are already all whining. Stay cool and positive people. much more fun.
  11. thx for the fast answer. But you will warn us about the changes, will you? Because it could be a bad hit when you change it, and we are still training in the same way and notice it too late.
  12. Does it take rather 3, 4 months, or 2, 4, 6 weeks? Anyone has an idea, or a fundated guess.
  13. kevin dubrow quick edit: and thanks for the good try.
  14. Spike Silva (4825) Derakor Vindicator (9174) Edmund Kaufmann (16094) Renan Guedes (28044) (weight supplement for him, the others don't need anything) Luke Danes (32889) Tailor Doozi (32901) Rory Gilmore (32903) Lane Lane (32904) Paris Gellar (32905) Sookie Saint James (32906) I don't want any supplements. I don't need them. Keep them and lower prices a bit, or whatever you wanna do . THank you very much. (except for guedes)
  15. Why would this happen to anyone? Most people are happy to get the chances to win a tournament. And most org owners are happy to renegociate contracts because they are happy their fighters who were in the middle of a tournament got picked up. So basicly this situation has usually an easy solution.
  16. I know for a fact that others with more hype tried to get chuck. They had spots free, yet did not get him ^^
  17. I got 2 with useless striking defense...................... And I still can not get any FA fighters on the additional fighting slots. Anyone else experiencing the same, or was I just outbid by higher hyped managers?
