  2. The top p4p guys are a bunch of animals By Alika Webb Latrobe Arundel - LION Arundel is the top pound for pound fighter in the MMATycoon world. He prowls in the cage like it’s his personal savannah. He lulls his opponents into a false sense of security as he dances around them but as soon as he sees an opening, he pounces. With razor-sharp teeth and claws like swords, his unsuspecting prey doesn’t stand a chance. Latrobe Arundel is a lion, the king of the jungle personified. Who will be the one to kick him from his throne or will he keep on roaring from the top of the mountain until he’s ready to retire? Crotch Grabber - RHINO Crotch Grabber’s nickname is the turtle and it’s no wonder why, the guy is built like nature’s tank but unlike a turtle, his speed and fury are unmatched. I honestly see him more as a rhino, as he just loves to steamroll over people. Once the bell sounds he just runs you over, backs up and does all it over again until the referee drags him off his latest victim. Iain Tower - GIRAFFE High and mighty does he stand above everyone else, Iain Tower has his head above the clouds but his feet roam the earth and his fists are locked and loaded, ready to shoot and blast through people’s chins as if they were made from glass. Built like a tower, you’d expect him to be incredibly powerful but also slower than his opponents. He is incredibly powerful, so much is true, yet he is able to move at the speed of light like a freaking ninja, giving his opponents no weakness to prey upon. Herb Krison - BISON Herb Krison is a typical bison, his broad shoulders won’t easily rock the boat, he is content simply grazing the fields. He likes to focus on pursuing his own success instead of picking fights willy-nilly. Don’t underestimate the bison though, he is a lot smarter than he might look. If you find yourself on this guy’s path, prepare for a war. When Herb Krison attacks you, it’s like being run over by a bison herd. He swarms you, attacking with speed, throwing an army of kicks and punches in bunches until you just can’t take it anymore. Michael Bennet - PIRANHA Slice! Slice! Chop! One punch kicks his bloodlust in gear. More punches and kicks follow, like a pack of bloodthirsty monsters. Michael Bennet attacks like a vicious school of piranhas feasting on prey. His opponents scratch, claw and scream as they are pulled into the deep, getting eaten alive one bite at a time. Joosep Lõhmus - BUNNY Little Bunny might sound like a cute little nickname but as all his opponents quickly learn, there is nothing cute and cuddly about this little bunny. Like the Rabbit of Caerbannog in Monty Python’s The Holy Grail, Joosep Lõhmus is “the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on!” He’ll have you screaming for mercy in no time because when he attacks, he will eat you up like a carrot. What other animals belong in the MMATycoon zoo? Let the beast go and let us know in the comments!
  3. Matt Quin – A true MMATycoon comeback story This write up is brought to you by Urban Fighter, the number one clothing store in New York and the official sponsor of Matt Quin. “If failure had no penalty success would not be a prize.” ― Terry Pratchett http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/37/37w11.jpg Matt Quin Comebacks are not just possible, as a matter of fact, they happen quite often. But if we experience a major setback, sometimes a comeback may seem quite an impossible task for us. The reason for that is quite easy to explain. To come come back from a setback, we need one special ingredient: change! Most people are set in their ways, familiarity makes us feel safe. Change can be hard for us creatures of habit simply because it scares us. We are scared of the unknown. To facilitate change we need one thing: a change of heart. We need to be willing to change our ways and have the courage and the will to commit to it. Change your life, change your future. Quite a scary thought indeed but it can undeniably be worth it. THE SUCCESS We start our story near the end of 2016, a Belgian warrior with the heart of a lion had fought his way to the top. With ups and downs he worked, harder than he himself had held possible and he not only held the Gamma middleweight title, he was considered one of the best fighters in the world. Once upon a time he had already reached the number one pound for pound position and he craved to regain his former glory … until that day came. THE FALL The much-anticipated conclusion to the trilogy with Ed Gennero ended in tragedy for the Belgian champion as Matt Quin was finished standing for the first time in his career. Matt Quin did not want to let lightning strike twice and had quite a spirited performance against Tony Siblas. He knew he needed a victory to get back into the title mix. He had just won the first two rounds, everything was going great until … an overhand right sent his career spiraling down so fast and so brutal that it was simply heartbreaking to watch. A new opportunity awaited Matt Quin as a new opponent was announced: Taneli Hauki. A solid midcarder with bricks for fists. The power in his hands was not to be underestimated but it was a definite step down in competition for the former champion and it seemed quite possible that Matt Quin would finally be able to snap his losing streak. The hearts of those in attendance were moved by the undeniable passion on display by the Belgian warrior. Two rounds in and Matt Quin didn’t simply win them, he controlled the first two rounds from start to finish. Until that moment came, Taneli Hauki caught the Belgian with a brutal cross punch right on the kisser and never let him recover. Matt Quin was seeing stars and stumbling all over the place but his heart wouldn’t let him take the fall. Many brutal punches he received and he kept fighting until the referee had seen enough. Three standing finishes in a row, the only three losses of that kind in his career. Next on his path was the veteran Katsu Laoka who was having quite the career resurgence. Katsu Laoka was cleaving his way through the competition on his path toward title contention but Matt Quin only had redemption on his mind. Katsu Laoka landed the first blow and taunted the former number one pound for pound legend, who in turn took him down with a sweet takedown. The beginning of the fight was a prelude to what was to come as the fight was a story of action and reaction. Katsu Laoka’s actions were the catalyst for Matt Quin’s reactions. It was Katsu Laoka who took the lead early on and despite Matt Quin’s best efforts, Katsu Laoka was given the split decision win. The Joe Murphy fight was another close one where Matt Quin was once again unable to be crowned the victor. On an embarrassing five fight losing streak, the Belgian legend’s career had plummeted from the sky so hard that he was but a shell of his former self. He knew it was do or die for another loss would probably mean the end of his career. A familiar face awaited him on the other side of the cage. Scotty Bennet - the last man he beat when he was still the Gamma middleweight champion - found himself in quite a similar situation. The battle of the dying breed lured many fans who were wondering which legend would find redemption and be able to start his career anew. Matt Quin was the obvious favorite against the living legend who was nine years the elder, Scotty Bennet however had more left in the tank than many saw coming and took home a unanimous decision victory. THE RESSURECTION As you may or may not know, one definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Matt Quin was doing just that and he was going insane by losing over and over again. No matter how hard he fought he kept walking the losing path and he was about to be fired. He was standing on the edge of the deepest, darkest abyss he had ever come across, staring the darkness in the eyes with nothing but despair in mind. Luckily Gamma management gave the fallen king one last chance. What an opponent he was given too, Taneli Hauki who had defeated him not that long ago came back for a rematch. As you may remember Matt Quin took control of their first fight until a lucky punch turned the fight around. This time Matt Quin took a long hard look at himself and made a deliberate change in strategy. He didn’t just control the fight, he dominated! Matt Quin made a statement by knocking out Taneli Hauki in such a brutal fashion, he was a changed man and he wasn’t about to let anyone get the better of him again. Slowly but steadily he scratched and clawed his way back up the ladder. Blood, sweat and tears it cost him but he had finally come full circle when he got another title opportunity. Russian Obama was the only obstacle left in his path to regaining everything he had lost so long ago. It wasn’t meant to be as the Cinderella story ended in a whimper instead of a bang. Saul Goodman took hold of the coveted Gamma middleweight title and Matt Quin got back on the winning track after he finished rising star Michael "Young Gun" Cole. A title opportunity came knocking on his door once more and this time Matt Quin rose to the occasion. Matt Quin won the Gamma middleweight title. A six fight losing streak and nearly a year since losing it later, he had finally regained his greatness of old. His first challenger was announced and it was his worst nightmare come true. Former champion Russian Obama who had defeated him once before in decisive fashion now stood before him once more. Their rematch was a brutal brawl that left both men in limbo as the judges were unable to declare a victor. A definite conclusion was necessary for one man to move on while the other would get a chance to rebuild their career and thus another rematch was announced. The much-anticipated conclusion to a nail-biter of a trilogy gave an answer to all his doubters as Matt Quin was officially declared the victor and still the Gamma middleweight champion of the world. Matt Quin is now no longer a shell of his former self but a new and improved version of himself. Will he be able to reach the number one pound for pound spot once more and once again find his place under the sun as he faces his next challenger or has he flown too close to the sun and will he soon burn up and come crashing down harder than he has ever done before? Find out at GAMMA#684 DaCoca v Bubba on January 6th as he takes on Jutta "Hammer" Hanolla.
  4. OMEGA FIGHTING – THE FINAL BATTLE PREVIEW By Alika Webb This is where we part our ways, goodbye my friend. Nearing the end of our days, we’ll be defiant till the end! This is the final battle where there can only be one winner. We drove the fighters in like cattle, now their ranks seem a lot thinner. We tried our best and gave it our all. Now it’s time to put it to rest once and for all. To every beginning there must be an end. To every start there must be a finish. To every alpha there must be an Omega. And now it is time for Omega Fighting to go out in style, not with a whimper but with a bang! Every single title will be defended on the biggest card Omega Fighting has brought forth. Be a part of MMATycoon history and witness the legends that made this company great in action one last time under the Omega banner. The first Omega Fighting hall of famer challenges for an Omega title one last time but to bring home the gold he’ll have to face a methodical killer. Two light heavyweight strikers have a grudge to settle on the biggest card of them all. A tough nut to crack lays it all on the line when he faces a well-rested striker. The social media emperor will try to expose a newly crowned champion but if he’s not careful it will be him who’ll be exposed. This and much more as Omega Fighting puts forth the greatest fight card in its history! Main event: Title Fight 145 lbs - Natural Born Killer (12-3) Vs Morrison Lee (14-2) Featherweight champion Natural Born Killer faces the biggest challenge of his life as he takes on one of the most popular Omega Fighting icons, Morrison Lee. Main eventing the biggest card in Omega Fighting history are two of the most popular fighters on the roster. On one hand we have the champion, Natural Born Killer who’s only lost one fight during his time in Omega Fighting. Which is even more impressive considering that half the fights he participated in were title fights. On the other hand we have the first Omega Fighting hall of famer and former two time lightweight champion Morrison Lee. Can the living legend end his promotional career with another title on his resume or will the champion continue his reign of terror as he takes out the hall of famer? Natural Born Killer started out his career as a brawler, he got close to his opponents and started beating them to a pulp. He had the fearlessness required to take on anyone. With an itchy hand, always ready to pull the trigger and knock somebody’s lights out, the sky seemed to be the limit. But when he swung for the fences, he occasionally left himself wide open. The losses he suffered taught him more than his wins ever could and he changed his ways accordingly. Now he’s on a different path. He started fighting in a more methodical manner, carefully taking apart his opponents piece by piece while leaving no weaknesses exposed and he started a winning spree that struck fear in the hearts of men. Finishes have not graced his record recently but now more than ever the sight of the champion standing in front of you frightens even the most competent fighters in the division. A terrifying thought indeed it is, a killer who can keep his emotions under control and dismantle his opponents, not once falling into temptation as he slowly sucks the life out of them. A super villain amongst villains is holding the division under his thumb with his slow methodical killing pace. Who else could dare to dethrone the Natural Born Killer but a hero? An Omega Fighting icon, the biggest hero on the roster, the first hall of famer, one of the longest reigning champions in the history of Omega Fighting, … the list goes on and on. For months Morrison Lee dominated the Omega Fighting lightweight division. Until sadly one day, his world got turned upside down by a thundering blow from DJ Thunda that cost him his title, his undefeated streak and unmistakenly damaged his legacy. He got back on track quickly as he ran through Harold Shipman and got the chance to get revenge on the man that derailed his career. In a very close fight, Morrison Lee took the fight to DJ Thunda as he continued to out strike the striker for the first three rounds before finally getting the takedown he desired. Lightning nearly struck twice though as Lee got rocked at the beginning of the fifth round. The icon survived but the first defense of his second reign ended in a sour note as the past came back to haunt Morrison Lee. Harold Shipman revenged his loss with a shocking upset victory, submitting Lee after a mere 18 seconds in the first round. Now the grappler turned complete mixed martial artist has a chance to make even more history as he drops a weight class to add another title to his list of accomplishments. Morrison Lee is a true student of the game, over the years he’s added many different aspects from a plethora of fighting styles to his skill set. The icon’s resourcefulness combined with his intelligence can be seen as his most dangerous weapon. He looks for his opponents’ weak spots and preys on them as he has the skills to finish the fight wherever it takes place. Co-main event: Title Fight 205 lbs - Oswald Cobblepot (7-0) Vs Ja Wuan Robinson (13-4) Payback is a b-word! "JR Superstar " Ja Wuan Robinson wants his belt back but standing in his way is the only man to defeat him in nearly a year. Oswald "The Penguin" Cobblepot is undefeated and since winning the title from Ja Wuan Robinson he has continued to lead the light heavyweight division by example. He kicks ass, takes no names and never loses focus as the win is all that matters for the penguin of doom. Expect fireworks as two dangerous strikers face off in a rematch for the ages. On the last card of Omega Fighting, a grudge match will decide once and for all who the better fighter is, the penguin of doom or the JR Superstar. Oswald Cobblepot is the only undefeated fighter on this star-studded card and he is hell-bent to remain undefeated as he faces a blast from the past. The last time these two mixed it up, Oswald Cobblepot came out victorious. The penguin of doom did an excellent job of keeping the power shots flowing like water. He kept throwing an abundance of strikes with lethal intent and his opponent was feeling the pain as the JR Superstar was constantly on the lookout for a clinch in an attempt to disrupt the penguin’s menacing pace. Since then, Oswald Cobblepot has gone to war with TJ Hearts before making an example of Kevaughn Aldridge, solidifying his status as one of the best champions Omega Fighting has to offer. The penguin is a kickboxer with a dynamite punch and he’ll be ready to throw it again in a grudge match you don’t want to miss! On a quest for vengeance, Ja Wuan Robinson has wreaked havoc since dropping the title to the penguin. Ja Wuan Robinson made his case and put an exclamation point behind it as he put on a striking clinic against James "The Real Deal" Steel. One beat down wasn’t enough for the JR Superstar as he destroyed former champion Boo Lee with a big right hand that put him to sleep. Now there is only one obstacle left on the path to regaining his title, a little penguin that packs a punch. The JR Superstar is no stranger to the striking game himself but the last time these two warriors collided, Robinson seemed too preoccupied with closing the distance that he eventually got caught up in the relentless pace set by the penguin. To win the fight you need to control it or end it before it goes to the judges’ decision. Will Ja Wuan Robinson try to control the fight like he did last time or will he go for broke and attempt to do what no man has done before him? Title Fight 185 lbs - Vito Mazzini (13-1) Vs Fabouzi Massu (7-1) A figurehead of the division, Vito Mazzini has successfully reclaimed the belt he once held for so long. The inaugural champion would love nothing more than to be its last owner as well. But to do that he’ll have to go through a million dollar prospect looking to redeem himself. A dangerous striker with an exceptional ground game to boot, Vito Mazzini has been the one constant factor in the middleweight division since the start. A minor hiccup occurred when he got caught by Hassan Dehu but since then he’s been tearing it up in the cage and successfully recaptured the belt that had always been his. With seven submission victories under his belt, one might mistakenly take him for a grappler but still waters run deep and there is more than meets the eye with this elite fighter. His striking skills are phenomenal, combining speed and accuracy to establish his dominance as he sets an unforgiving pace. If you can’t keep up you are going to be left behind in his dust but if in your haste you should dare make a mistake, he’ll pounce on it without remorse and take you down to the ground. This makes him a tough nut to crack for any fighter. Spending months on the sidelines did not take away his lust for the gold as Fabouzi Massu attempts to once again capture the gold that has already alluded him once before. This time he meets a different champion as since losing his belt to Vito Mazzini, Bosco Iwoba is aspiring to greatness in a different organization. A powerful striker who doesn’t back down from a challenge will have his hands full in this final battle for the middleweight title as he’ll have to match the intensity his opponent loves to bring. Title Fight 170 lbs - Angelo Mendez (9-2) Vs Mat Diaz (9-3) "The Don" Angelo Mendez knocked out Dan "the Degenerate" Howson to be crowned the champion of the welterweight division. Now he faces his first and last challenger in Mat Diaz. Who will be known as the last middleweight champion in the Omega Fighting history books? One of the most lethal strikers in the welterweight division, Angelo Mendez got battered and bruised on his path to title glory but he has finally made it. He knocked out the former champion and grabbed the belt from his cold dead hands. But his journey doesn’t end here, when Omega Fighting closes its doors he could become one of the hottest free agents on the market. If he wins that is, should he lose his title on the final card he might see his stock drop considerably. With his future on the line, look out for Angelo Mendez to pull out all the stops and unleash his mighty fists for the final time as Omega Fighting reaches its climax. The striking game has brought the challenger - Mat Diaz - most of his success but it’s on the mat where he truly excels. A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt with punches like anvils and a never say die attitude has avenged the loss in his promotional debut and now he wants to end his adventure in Omega Fighting on a high note. What better way to end this thrilling chapter of his career than a title victory? Title Fight 155 lbs - Harold Shipman (8-6) Vs Ahsan Hamed (12-7) Harold Shipman did what nobody thought he could do: beat the living legend Morrison Lee. An upset victory for the history books but was it mere luck or pure talent that reigned supreme that faithful night? Ahsan Hamed once unsuccessfully vied for the lightweight title against said legend so a win over the man who beat the legend he once lost to will be another big feather in his cap. Can the social media emperor of Omega Fighting expose the newly crowned champion or will Harold Shipman be able to prove that he deserves to be a champion? Harold Shipman knows how to dispatch his opponents to the undercard when he gets the fight to the ground but what will the newly crowned champion do when he gets stuck in a torrent of strikes? When it’s raining thundering blows from the challenger, will the champion be able to muster his strength or will he crumble under the might of Ahsan Hamed? 205 lbs - Boo Lee (13-6) Vs Logan Ninefingers (5-2) One of the originals in Omega Fighting, he was here since day one and he’s still with us on the very last day. Once upon a time Boo Lee main evented the inaugural event and now he’s with us still, competing on the very last event in the history of the company. Will the former light heavyweight champion be able to avenge his latest loss and get back on the winning track or will he go down fighting in a losing effort? The latter would be the answer if his opponent has any say in the matter. Logan "The Bloody Nine" Ninefingers is known for his hard-hitting punches and his snapping kicks will make you think twice about stepping into his range. He’s currently on a three fight knockout streak and he looks to continue his path of destruction against the former champion. 145 lbs - Chrys Kyle (10-4) Vs Brody Kavanagh (11-5-1) On a quest for redemption after a run-in with champion Natural Born Killer are both warriors in this clash of egos. Chrys Kyle is a bona fide weapon of mass destruction, snapping skulls backwards with his clobbering punches is his way of life. Legs built like tree trunks support him on his quest for a finish as they sap the life-force out of his foes’ legs, mind and body. Looking to bring an end to Chrys Kyle’s party of carnage and mayhem is the jack-of-all-trades Brody "Ares" Kavanagh. His opponent might prefer to stand and trade but the Irish Brody Kavanagh can take care of business wherever the fight takes place. The key to victory for the resourceful Brody Kavanagh should be to take control of where the fight takes place. If Kavanagh can dictate his type of fight on the heavy-handed brawler instead of getting caught up in his opponent’s pace, this could be a walk in the park for the Irish warrior. 205 lbs - Dido Vicini (8-1) Vs James Steel (8-5) Submission wizards collide in this high-level grappling extravaganza. With more Tycoon World Grappling Championships fights under his belt than mixed martial arts fights, one can’t help but notice Dido Vicini’s passion for grappling. His opponent is James "the Real Deal" Steel, with six submission victories on his record you know he won’t shy away from going to the mat either. They both have a deep understanding of the ground game but they both have some stand-up skills as well. Dido Vicini does not often showcase his striking skills but he does a pack a punch. James "The Real Deal" Steel on the other hand stands and trades with the desire to take the fight to the ground, throwing punches in bunches to keep his opponents on their toes as he looks for the takedown. Will these two Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts exhibit their grappling skills in a technical battle for ground supremacy or will they duke it out standing as their grappling skills cancel each other out? 205 lbs - Grisha Kamenov (11-5-2) Vs Francisco Escobar (7-10) Once more we might have a grappling exchange lined up for the fans to bear witness. Combined they have a stunning 14 submissions on their records. While their love for submissions might lead you to believe they are two peas in a pod, there is more to be seen underneath the surface. The difference in styles is clear as Grisha Kamenov is a Muay Thai specialist who uses a plethora of strikes to impose his dominance from both near and from afar, mostly using his submission skills as a last resort when the fight does go to the ground. Francisco Escobar has focused his studies more on the wrestling aspect of the fight game. Closing the distance and outworking his adversaries until they abandon all hope and leave themselves open for a tricky submission is his bread and butter. Will the Muay Thai specialist be able to keep the fight standing or will grappling warfare swipe the fans of their feet as two submission wizards hit the mat? Title Fight 265 lbs - Acyrius AssKicken (4-4) Vs Poro Peukalo (3-2) Inactivity has hurt the heavyweight division significantly but these two goliaths persevered and are here to pick up the slack. To legitimize their battle, the vacant heavyweight title will be on the line one final time. It’s a clash of styles in this heavyweight brawl as both fighters possess a fight-ending punch but the difference lies in their approach that leads to the finish. Acyrius AssKicken enjoys a good beat down in the morning, he loves more than anything to overwhelm his opponents with a swarm of strikes. Mixing his dynamite punches with pulverizing kicks gives him a critical edge on the outside. Poro "The Liizard" Peukalo on the other hand can stand and trade but he prefers the warmth of a good hug. Clinging to his opponents in a grueling Muay Thai clinch makes him the favorite if the fight transitions into a close-range exchange. Who will make history when the Omega Fighting saga reaches its conclusion? Find out on July 16th when Omega Fighting proudly presents the Final Battle!
  5. Breaking news? If only someone knew … My response to Bjorn’s breaking news coverage By Alika Webb I’m a sucker for the ladies so when this drop-dead gorgeous woman ran into the bar screaming for help, I was all ears. The words gushed from her stunning lips like a waterfall as she described the dire situation she found herself in. She said she witnessed a crime, apparently so violent that her tender body was trembling with fear as she described it. A small gang was running rampant in the city as their plan to frame a world-class mixed martial artist from Belgium did not go as planned and eventually back-fired on them. With a one for all attitude in mind, each member started lighting part of the city ablaze when the news of their failure hit their ears and they gathered afterwards in a back alley where even the sunshine doesn’t dare to venture. The police were busy cleaning up the carnage they left behind and as they closed many roads, this beautiful woman took a detour that ended up crossing paths with said gang. As she was still trying to explain the situation she found herself in, five shady characters walked into the bar with an attitude like you wouldn’t believe. So confident of themselves and their skills that, to the amazement of the flabbergasted small bar crowd they appeared to be walking in slow motion. While I had no idea who they were, the smug looks on their faces and the panic in the voice of the stunning beauty now hiding behind my back were all I needed to know that they were bad news. I’ve been in fights for a lot dumber reasons than this so I stood up from my stool without any signs of hesitation and flexed my muscles to show them they didn’t scare me in the slightest. They looked unimpressed and one little man stepped forward from their shady midst. To say he was their smallest member would be an understatement, as the little person stepping forward barely reached my bellybutton with the top of his head as he boldly came closer. I am not known to discriminate so if this short little guy thought I was going to go softer on him just because I’m twice his size, he better start thinking something else! I put up my dukes but the little person showed no signs of putting up a fight as he casually walked toward me with an unyielding stare at the woman behind me. Just when I thought he was about to walk straight past me, a piercing blow hit me just below my belt buckle. The little prick fights dirty! Just when I thought he was no threat to me and relaxed, I was hit where no man wants to ever get hit. Bent over - instinctively covering up my crotch out of pain - I reached out with my right arm and grabbed the little person by the top of his head to stop him from getting to the beautiful lady. He turned around and took a swing at me but couldn’t reach me with the short little stubs that were his arms as my right arm clutching his head was effecting his mobility. He realized the compromised situation he found himself in really quickly as he started thrashing about like a shark caught on a fisherman’s hook, in a desperate attempt to escape from my hold. Escape he did as his open mouth found my arm and I felt his jaw snap shut, his teeth penetrating my skin and I was forced to let go of his head. “Grant, get him!” I saw and heard the bald man in the back of the group yell as he was taking a seat at a table, with a psychopathic look in his eye he smiled as he was glad to be entertained by my suffering. The little person rushed toward my groin with a maniacal laugh, terror struck my heart and instinctively I turned around to protect my front but the little person cared not about the placement of his punishment as I felt his teeth sinking into the skin of my buttocks. He bit me in my freaking ass! The band of criminals started drowning away all the noises in the bar with their bombastic laughter. Embarrassment overcoming the pain turned into a lust for vengeance as I started spinning around in a circle, faster and faster taking the little person stuck on my backside for a flight he’ll not soon forget until I couldn’t go any faster and I snapped my whole body to a halt so sudden, the little person was sent flying and crash-landed straight into two members of the villainous crew. The little person had taken out the topless guy with the small nipples who had been too caught up in his laughter to notice the little person being catapulted straight at him. The old hippy was now also down and out, he had actually seen everything happen right in front of him but appeared to be too lazy to move. Or maybe he was just being a good friend, trying to break the fall of his short companion. Either way, three people wiped out in a single blow. Not bad for someone who’s just graduated! The bald guy stayed complacently seated in his chair and gave the big fellow left standing a nod, signaling him to come at me. The gargantuan shape with a little sadistic smile on his smug face was making his way towards me. That image alone was scary enough but then the giant took off his shirt and revealed his hairy muscled body. Hair in abundance forming a small jungle on his core, hidden under that canopy lay dormant a giant wall of muscles strong as bricks. His long arm flickered straight at me, so fast it was like a poisonous snake striking with intent to kill as he grabbed me by the collar of my shirt. “Take your hairy paws off me, you da…” I started yelling but I got flipped upside down and landed flat on my back as the giant had lifted me off my feet with a judo throw, I landed hard onto the cold stone floor. Not only did he hurt my back but he actually had the audacity to do it before I got a chance to finish what I had to say. I was already pissed off but now I was enraged! I stood up and felt a throbbing pain in my back but I bit through it and took hold of my bottle of beer which was resting on the counter and took a big gulp out of it in hopes of regaining some of my strength. The ape-like man-beast saw it as an opportunity to rush at me but with one eye I had kept my sight on him and sprayed the golden liquid from my mouth straight into his eyes. Temporarily blinded, the giant fumbled towards me and I used his own momentum against him as I grabbed him, lifted him up and rammed him straight into a wooden table. Seeing as I’ve seen fight movies aplenty I thought for sure the table would collapse under the weight of our bodies, the impact would have rendered his body below mine unconscious. Well I can tell you now, that wasn’t the case. The table flipped over when we landed right on top of it and we were both sent tumbling neck first onto the stone floor. We both groggily got up and I caught the fury in his eyes, those eyes were burning red with murderous intent! The beer bottle I drank from had fallen onto the ground and spilled its contents but it was still of use as a weapon so I picked it up and as the giant sprang into action, I swung that bottle with all my might and struck the side of his skull with a sickening clang echoing the impact. While the echoing sound made me wonder just how little content his skull actually contained, I saw the beer bottle was still very much intact. Seeing as I’ve seen more fight movies than the average joe, I thought for sure the bottle was going to explode onto his head and render his body unconscious. Again this was not the case. My whole world view was based on what I’ve seen in movies and now it turned out to be wrong. I was shocked! While the blow had certainly hurt him, he was still in it to win it. I tossed away the bottle and as I tried my best to take a swing at him with a big overhand right, he easily ducked under it and smashed a thundering left hook to my belly. It was as if somebody had shot a cannonball into my gut, all the wind I had in my body was forced out and the only thing keeping me from breaking in half was my spine which I could hear cracking as it strained to stay together under the brutal force of the punch. I fell down face first, my body was gasping for air and as much as I tried to stand up, I simply couldn’t. I saw blurry images of the bald man giving instructions to the giant, as I slowly felt the air seeping back into my body and a few seconds later I heaved myself up and braced for impact. The giant started dashing toward me with full speed, time slowed down considerably as I reminisced about what life was like when I was a kid. Taking boxing lessons was one of the biggest highlights of my youth and even if my mind didn’t remember all of it, my body still did. Then I remembered all those fights I’ve been into as a thought crossed my mind. This was a battle of life and death and I had never experienced this sensation before. Struggling to come to grips with this reality, a plan was formed to combine the technical skills I had practiced so many times with the street fighting skills I gained the hard way. I took up the standard boxing position that I knew and loved and threw out a fast jab to stop the giant in his tracks. It worked as the hairy beast recognized danger from my posture, my left was scanning for a target while my right was staring at him with malice. I threw out another jab and the giant slipped right under it. Slipping under my jab gave him the opportunity to strike back as he launched a missile left hook to my body. Pain flashbacks entered my mind and I instinctively crossed my arms against my body as the blow came crashing into me. My arms took the brunt of the blow and I felt them becoming heavier by the second as the impact of the punch faded. He didn’t realize the blow had missed its effect and drew back his right as he primed himself for a big overhand right. I knew this was my chance and swept the floor with my right as I threw a counter uppercut deep into his gut. The giant had a hard time catching his breath but he was still standing. He was wounded and I needed to finish him off so I launched a barrage of lefts and rights but five punches in, a stinging jab ended my assault. The beast had come alive again! The window of opportunity had closed and now I needed to create another opening. This is where my street fighting skills will come in handy I thought. I started smack talking him a little bit to piss him off and it worked like a charm as the hot-headed giant came rushing in with a vengeance, swinging his paws like a madman with a force like you wouldn’t believe. My speed and footwork guided me out of harm’s way as the giant was throwing some near-fatal blows. I threw a few light jabs as he continued his infuriated rush towards me and just as I felt his breath getting closer, I stopped my jab right in front of his left eye to blind him and stepped aside to my right like a matador stepping aside from a bull. The bald guy saw it coming from a mile away and tried to warn his beast but it was too late as my overhand right sent the giant’s jaw flying, his body came crashing to the stone floor. My hand had never experienced such pain, it was as if my hand was on fire. But I couldn’t let it show, not with the bald man still conscious. I dared the bald man to come at me but he remained seated, a small smirk could be seen on his face. Just when I wanted to step forward, a thunderous pain raced across my back and I fell down face first, next to the sleeping giant. I looked over my shoulder and saw that the beautiful lady now held a stun gun in her hands. How could she do this after all I did for her? The bald man left his chair and casually came towards me before kicking me right in the mouth, the lights faded into darkness. Now I’m stuck on a small island with a bunch of other young kids without much to do but fight for barely anything worth mentioning, in hopes of one day earning enough money to get out of here. And when I get off of this island, there will be hell to pay for those people who put me here!
