  1. In the last month you have seen him in "Super Heavyweight to test his chin" he came, he saw and he destroyed Harold Howard. You've seen him in "Fighting for the last twinkie" where he bleed Declan Sweeney like a stuck pig on his way to munching down the Syn Twinkie that was on offer. And now the man mountain is set to enter the CCF cage once again on the 17/11/13 to "Fight for the Donut" http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1w10.jpg VS http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/11/11b3.jpg p4p 37 John Bunting (18-2 with 14 via KO) p4p 17 Neo Kable (18-0 with 18 via KO) Bunting has been searching for this fight for quite some time and finally he has got his man. We first heard rumours of this possile superfight between these two in TWW News Part 3 back on Oct 12. Two stars of the fight game, two fighters looking to show the figt world who really is the top dog of the SHW division. Bunting's form of late has been devstating but it pales into insignificance against the record of Kable who is undefeated in 18 fights including 6 of which have been in the highly talented cage of Evo. Only 3 times in his entire career has Kable let his opponent make it past the first round. His power is arguably the greatest in the fight game at the moment. A while Kable has his power to rely on Bunting in his 20 fight career has never had a fighter that has rocked or knocked him down - his chin has stood up against every heavy hitter that has been thrown against him.. Once again he will be relying on his chin to weather the Kable storm... Fight fans have seen for quite some time now have seen Stu Pidasol's utter distain for anything Convicted related which has added some extra spice to this match up if it actually needed it. We've seen plenty of managers and fighters hide from challenges but over the coming weeks we see Stu tackle Convicted and their fighters head on. Spead over 1 week we have the curtain raiser in a couple of days when Oath takes on Marciano in what is up there with the greatest grudge fights the fight game has seen. Then we have the intemission when the 7-2 Karvinoff from the Templeton camp who after going 3-0 with Syn has strangely left the premier org and come back to UPG Vegas to tackle Stu's "Bad" Boy Bubby (20-7-1) and then the the close with this mouth watering fight.. Has Stu poked a sleeping tiger, or is Stu the tiger stalking down his hapless prey... All will be revealed in little over a week... Stay tuned fght fans there is definitely more to come.........
  2. Fresh off his massive KO win against Harold Howard - The man moutain John Bunting has just signed a 1 fight contract at Synchronicity to take on fellow fattie Declan Sweeney taking place on the 25th of October. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1w10.jpg Vs http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/38/38w14.jpg 3wc 58P4P - John Bunting 17-2 (13 via KO) 2wc 55P4P - Declan Sweeney 19-4 (18 via KO) Reporter: So John, you're fresh off a massive against the odds victory against Howard, no one gave you a punchers chance in that fight but you proved them wrong. What sort of chance do you think the fans will give you in this one? Bunting: Well we know that MMA fans aren't the sharpest tools in the shed - they are generally just tools. So I have no doubt they will be all over Sweeney to beat me and beat me easily. Reporter: And you think otherwise John? Bunting: Yeah I do. He is nothing more than a poor man's version of Howard. A 1 punch wonder, I've got the greatest chin in the sport, so Sweeney can do his best and it's not going to be good enough. Reporter: In your last press release you made some comments about wanting to fight a Convicted can crusher who's fighting at Evo, care to add to that? Bunting: Like always when a challange is put down Convicted duck for cover - they make a habit of talking a big game and a big fight but then at the last minute something happens, some other clause gets added and the fight falls through. Reporter: Who was the fighter you were after? Bunting: None other than Neo Kable, he's 15-0 so I can understand he was too scared to cop his first loss. I'm sure my time with him will come soon enough. Let's just hope he doesn't lose his next fight and maybe just maybe he will be man enough to come face me at CCF. Reporter: Tell me a bit about Stu? Bunting: Stu is a great manager - He had a lot of success early with his fighters but was also well aware that while he had that success his camp wasn't that strong so he sacked a bunch of fighters. The newer guys he is bringing up now will make a mark on the world stage. I'm happy that I will be one of those fighters. Reporter: Stu has a 1-2 record against Dirk - do you feel added pressure to level that up? Bunting: Dirk is a good manager, his fighters are solid without being spectacular. I can tell you right now that after this fight the record will be 2-2. I'm going to KO that pretender in Sweeney. Reporter: Any final words John? Bunting: You have 18 days Sweeney - 18 days before your worst nightmare appears before you in the cage, 18 days before you cop the beat down of your career. I'm going to leave you a battered and bloody mess on the floor of Syn's cage.
  3. http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1w10.jpg The word on the MMA street is that Stu Pidasol's Superheavyweight John Bunting (16-2) 7wc 156 p4p has secured a fight against Harold Howard set to take place on the 3rd of October. Howard is 2nd in the weight class and 66 p4p with a record of 28-3 with al wins coming via KO. Bunting was hoping the fight would take place in LA however this reporter has knowledge that Howard and his manager Chris Partridge are so fearful of leaving the safety of the Aggressive Damage that Bunting will make the journey to Canada for the fight. Bunting has torn the superheavy division apart in Cornell boasting a 7-1 record (7 titles) with the one loss against Bot being avenged in brutal fashion the follow fight. Howard has done much the same at Aggressive Damage with a 19-2 record (10 titles). Bunting and Howard both look like fighters that are in need of a new challenge and this fight is definitely going to be that. Howard is a heavy handed brutal striker from the outside but is just as dangerous in the clinch. Bunting on the other hand isn't as strong has Howard from distance but the big ace up Bunting's sleave is he has Howard covered if he can get the fight to the mat. Can Bunting's chin hold out long enough to dump howard on his back or will Howard do as he has done all his career and turn Bunting's light out. Harold Howard http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=92179 John Bunting http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilepublic.php?FID=163641
