Why have multiple threads whenever a new fight is announced - what will follow is Oompa Loompa's story for 2014. Here's hoping he doesn't fail. Within 5 minutes of finishing his shower the CEO of Evo Mega Jug was on the phone to Stu Pidasol with details of a contract for Loompa. After a quick scan of all the potential opponents Stu decided Evo was the best place for the little man to start his 2014 crusade. Danny Power the current 145lb champion fresh off his loss on the Xmas Bash card was selected as the first victim... Reporter: Loompa it has been a bit of a whirlwind these last few weeks - from big fish in a little pond to a little fish in a shark tank - how are you travelling? Loompa: Yeah you got that right however I'm no little fish - Danny Power will be the first the to realise this. Danny Power has been a great fighter, he has beaten some legends of the fight game, but his time in the sun has come and gone. He is a shell of his former self - riddled with self doubt, typical pom if you ask me. Lacks the mental toughness to hang in the big leagues. Loompa: Yeah I have looked at his record - early days he was like a FOTY winner, but the FOTY isn't won in 6 months you need to back that shit up all year. I respect McDonnel but his boy Power is as useless as the English cricket team - this fight is nothing more than my stepping stone to have a crack at the form fighters of the division. We did see through the week that Loompa wanted Otso, he along with Stu Pidasol's camp started an online campaign to get the fight happening with the #Otsoisabitch. To add an extra layer we saw the emergence of a love triangle with Richard Dawkins and Loompa having a war of words via twitter. So here we are 2 days out from a fight, we don't have Loompa vs Otso and we don't have Loompa Vs Dawkins, we have Loompa Vs Partio and you, much like me are asking who the fuck is Partio. Well after a quick glance he fell on his arse at the number 2 ranking with a win against Clint Lomax. Prior to that he had done fuck all. Do you have any thoughts on the fight Loompa? Loompa: Well this fight does nothing for me, this guy's a bum, I thought I had finished fighting bums when I moved to Evo but Mega Jug said I need to fight him, so fight him I will. At least I get the chance to knock his pathetic arse back down the rankings where he belongs. That's a serious lack of respect for a guy that has all the tools to beat you Loompa, he has beaten Lomax last fight who is rated as one of the best ever at this weight division. Loompa: Yeah and? He's spent his whole career hiding at Cage Wars, he's lost to both Power and Randolph the 2 guys I have just beaten. Lomax is a bum and so is this Partyo, Partio or whatever the fuck the stupid c-unts name is. Are you in a bad mood today Loompa? I haven't seen you this angry during an interview before? Loompa showed he clearly has what it takes to tackle any of the games big names. Most laughed when Loompa first debuted, who would have thought a midget could be so devastating in the cage, with an impressive 18-3 record and a big name scalp those that laughed are now taking the first bites of humble pie. Most champs are happy to sit back and wait for the next challenger to come along - well not little Loompa he has joined us today to talk about who he wants next.... Reporter: So Loompa that was a great win by you against Power, you must be happy with the result? Loompa: Of course I'm happy with the result, getting the win is always great.I'm not happy with how I fought the fight though, I should have put Power away, I was just a bit sloppy with my ground striking and couldn't use it to set my subs up.. Reporter: Big fight nerves? Loompa: Maybe, I have never fought in such a big crowd. The atmosphere was amazing. Reporter: You aren't going to make many friends with comments like that.. I'm going to point out the obvious take out Power and you have beaten no one as well... Loompa: Friends? I couldn't give a shit about any of the so-called fighters in this division, they are nothing but punching bags that need to be beaten up.. Yes you are right Power is the only name I have beaten but I'm the one holding Evo's 145lb belt.. My first defence of that title will be one where I serve "The One's" head on a platter..
