Mid accusations of "ducking the fight" these two have finally gotten a date set for their own personal war and the fans on Montreal will be the ones to watch it all unfold on March 15th. Both of these fighters are managed by top managers with plenty of experience here to make this event all that it can be. At first there was some resistance from Irenicus' manager to sign with Montreal Fight Nights, but after some negotiations terms were reached. Irenicus fought a match with MFN as a predecessor to the match with Steroidi Jr, and defeated Winston McCall with a viscous round 2 head kick. Steroidi Jr., however, has been with MFN a little while longer but defeated former 155 champion Michal Tarnowski by decision on 2/15 in his only fight thus far with the up and coming organization from Montreal. Putting all of that hype and tension aside, another interesting plot twist on this fantastic match is that both fighters will be riding the same flight to the fight and back. Hopefully these two warrirors will be able to wait until they get to the Expo in Montreal before this fight takes place. MFN officials are already aware of the situation and bad blood between these two fighters. Extra security will be dispatched for the flight to keep the peace.
