The ever growing Sydney MMA scene has just received its biggest push to date with the birth of brand new org Sydney Fighting Championship. Org owner Billy Deegan has secured a tight net of contacts from all around the world resulting in a diverse talent pool drawing from USA collegiate wrestlers to Thailand's muay thai scene as well as central european and polinesian top prospects. The first event is set for April, 6th headlined by a MW fight between blue chip prospects Mikel Page and Maximo Bonini. Co-Main event is a firework-assured HW clash featuring top org fighter and Slam-Knock Out machine Mark "Angry Tongan" Hunter who's riding a three fight KO-win streak including one head kick KO and two slams KOs, against former Division 1 NCAA wrestler Samoa Joe who scored a quick 1st round stoppage win in his MMA debut last week.
