He is widely known now for submitting a BJJ Black belt in ADCC 2013, only a day after Coach Jack Calypso gave him his Purple belt. HE CONTINUES TO SHOCK THE WORLD when he just won the TTFC HW Tourney! He won the Tournament after defeating Itse Perkele in the Finals. RP landed 10 of 15 Takedowns, showing why his wrestling is the best in the world. He also outlanded Rung as RP landed 34 punches on the feet, winning most exchanges and never once being hurt or in danger. People finally started to believe in him after this performance. RP then defended his HW Title against Tony Slevin, a BJJ and boxing expert. Slevin was agressive in trying to take out and submit McMurphy quickly, but by the end of the first round, RP had complete control.. McMurphy with good strikes from the mount here! McMurphy lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent. Slevin is wriggling around trying to escape. RP McMurphy then went public and called out Tycoon Legend, and reigning TTFC Super-Heavyweight Champion, Sellus Gravius. Sellus was very angry about the call out and showed a lot of disrespect leading up to the fight. On fight night, RP was very ill from food poisoning but kept it to himself and his trainers, and fought anyways. Standing 6'5" weighing less than 230lbs, McMurphy had to look straight up to Sellus, who is 7'5 inches tall, weighing 300lbs. RP had initial success, landing 2 takedowns in the first round and winning most of the stand-up exchanges with crisp, precise punching "Gravius takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK." It was a close round but RP did enough to take it. Second round, RP was drained and was knocked down 3 times. He refused to quit and the ref called the fight late in the second round by TKO.
