  1. MMATYCOON OLYMPICS Ladies and gentlemen, there comes a time when the word “epic” is utilized properly, and the same holds true for words such as “historic”, “monumental”, and “legendary”. I do not use these words lightly but in this case, they are very applicable! It is not often when a collection of world class warriors, athletes, and managers are gathered together for an event that will be remembered always in the annals of time. We are fortunate to have such an event unfold before us ladies and gentlemen, and I implore you to not miss any portion of it! Not only shall we witness some of the world’s greatest gathered in one location, but they will battle others who are just as accomplished, capable and quite honestly, destructive. World renowned organizations are involved in this very rare display of supreme excellence, and quite simply, an event like this should be properly heralded! What is the name of this event, you ask? The Mixed Martial Arts Tycoon Olympics! That’s right, athletes from every corner of the world will be involved in this event of worldly proportions! The world class organizations that are scheduled to be involved are as follows, in alphabetical order: 1) Aggressive Damage http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/13284931115%20Logo.jpg 2) Ascension http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1360138617asclogo2h.png 3) Cage Wars http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1298373285CageWarsShading4%5B1%5D.png 4) EVOLUTION http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1376061484EVO%20LOGO.png 5) Global Association of MMA http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1362341929GAMMA_New.png 6) Sisu Fights http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1393597060sisulogo2.jpg 7) SYNCHRONICITY http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1363340514Logo01.jpg 8) Team Thomas http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/company/logo/1363315336TTFC-logo_zps91b028d3.png Each organization that is hosting one of the weight classes will receive a list of fighters who will enter that weight class. The hosting organization will then be able to enter their fighter to represent them in that weight class as well and complete the field of 8 fighters. Once all entries are received and finalized, there will be no opportunities to change the entrant. If a manager sends in more than one entry for the same weight class, the fighter with the highest P4P ranking will be the one selected. **FURTHER UPDATES ABOUT WEIGHT CLASSES** 135lbs: Anyone which can cut weight 145lbs: Minimum of 140lbs 155lbs: Minimum of 150lbs 170lbs: Minimum of 165lbs 185lbs: Minimum of 180lbs 205lbs: Minimum of 200lbs 265lbs: Minimum of 215lbs 265+lbs: Minimum of 250lbs Which fighters are allowed into the Olympics from each organization and what are the requirements for entry? The fighter chosen to represent his respective organization is required to have had at least two victories with that organization. Each fighter should also have a ranking of at least 1,000 in the p4p (Pound-For-Pound) for his particular weight class. If for some reason an organization does not have a fighter who is at least ranked 1,000 p4p, then they must send their highest ranked p4p fighter for that weight class, or have another fighter gain or lose weight to make weight for that weight class. A bracket system will be utilized for seeding purposes to determine who will be granted the 1st seed through the 8th seed. This is calculated by the lowest p4p average amongst the 8 fighters representing that particular organization. The organization with the lowest p4p average will receive the 1st seed in determining which weight class they will host and focus upon, then the next lowest p4p will receive the 2nd seed, etc. Each organization that is hosting one of the weight classes will receive a list of fighters who will enter that weight class. The hosting organization will then be able to enter their fighter to represent them in that weight class as well and complete the field of 8 fighters. Once all entries are received and finalized, there will be no opportunities to change the entrant. To determine which fighters will battle whom, a random draw will be utilized by a program similar to this one:http://challonge.com/tournament/bracket_generator. Once the organization owner has performed the random seeding, a screen shot will be sent to the Olympic Committee to show what seeding has been randomly determined. When will the Tycoon Olympics begin? The seeding is decided and the structure of the tournament complete, along with the amounts of cash rewards, then each organization will determine which fighter they want to have represent them in each weight class. Time will be given for those fighters to recover from any previous battles and to also train for this event. The expected starting date is May 30th to June 1st. Each battle in the Olympics will be a 5 round, 5 minute-per-round structure with a 10-Point Must System. The total number of points for each round given to the fighter will be awarded to their respective organization. This point system will allow the Olympic Committee to determine which organization scores the most points during the events. **MODIFICATIONS TO THE POINT SCORING SYSTEM** 5 points for a KO/Submission win; In the case of a loss, the loser still gains points based upon the judging of the commentator (this is to avoid the cases you lost by KO/Submission, we will not know because the judges do not score in this case) Losers gain 1 point per won round; In the case of a draw, the loser gains 2 points, the winner 3 points. Winners in such a case will be determined by highest p4p ranking; Winners of the Quarter finals gain +1 point for qualification; Winners of the Semi-final gain +2 points for qualification; Winner of the final gains +3 points In the case of a No Contest (NC), the other fighter automatically qualifies with a 5-0 result. In the case of a double NC, then the highest ranking loser from the previous round replaces them. The tourney owner will need to keep track of his weight class point count. . If the final battle of the Olympics turns out to be a draw, then a rematch will occur as soon as possible to determine the overall Olympic champion! All Olympic events will occur during the same week and each round of the Olympics will occur every 3 weeks. A grand total of $4,000,000 will be available for this tournament! The Olympic Champion will earn $2.5 million dollars! The Finalist will earn a cool $1 million, and the semi-finalists will earn $250,000! These funds will be transferred to the manager’s account. This promises to be a colossal event that will have the martial arts world and social media buzzing for a very long time prior to and after all is said and done! Stay tuned for the details of this explosive event and for those fighters who will represent their organizations, we wish you the absolute best of luck as you battle the best of the best! Dig deep within and earn the right to be called “The Ultimate Fighter”, “King of Kings”, or “King of the Mountain”!
