I think this is a big mistake matching up Ben Askren with Robbie Lawler. Lawler takes large parts of you which you never get back. He's not my favourite style, but when you fight Robbie, you are never the same again. To give Ben's first fight in UFC to this guy is risky business. The main concern is that on paper, when you analyse (takedown) wrestlers vs strikers, wrestlers are favourites for plausible reasons. You just have to look at the results from the last UFC where every wrestler won their fight against strikers (if I remember correctly), to see that (one-dimensional) sprawl and brawl guys get destroyed by (one-dimensional) elite wrestlers. The odds aren't right in the bookies. My money is on Robbie, the (3.25) underdog. A win by KO will add more to that, but you don't get those odds on general sports sites till closer to the fight. If Lawler wins, it's by KO. So, I'm expecting odds closer to 4-1 or 5-1 closer to the fight which is on March 3rd at UFC 235.

Jameson "Guinness" Connemara (183015) http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/32/32w13.jpg VS Akeen Coker (243512) http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14233953628691.jpg Live tonight from LA we bring to you the Main Event of CEC 433. This fight sees one of Tycoons top fighters and considered by most a true legend having only lost twice in his past 24 appearances. Former Tycoon Olympics Gold Medalist who has also held the Gold in both CEC and Ascension during his current run of greatness. Facing off against Jameson is young standout Akeen Coker who currently holds the Lightweight Gold in Ascension following a controversial split decision victory over Hector Camacho. Coker has also held both the Featherweight and Lightweight Gold for the now defunct Fight Promotion UNFC. In this matchup we see Jameson with a huge edge in the striking game boasting Elite skills in both Boxing and Muay Thai and Coker on paper holding a slight edge in the Wrestling and BJJ department even if the skills do not show it. In the past Coker has shown he is not afraid to mix it up with great strikers however he has never stepped into the cage with a monster quite like Jameson. Many are calling Akeen the future of the sport, and tonight is his next opportunity to prove they are correct in placing that mantle on his shoulders. Jameson has had his time in the limelight, its now Cokers turn to take his spot in the upper echelon of Tycoons rankings as he continues his quest to be the best! Over time both of these combatants have shown a preference to rely on the judges scorecards to see their hands raise in victory, and in a few shorts hours we will find out which has shown up with the winning formula.
