Bloodsport Elite is an organization of the greatest fighters across all disciplines, with a Kumite twist! While we still operate under MMA rules, Bloodsport Elite’s fights will take place in the squared-circle with 3 rounds; each ten minutes. Each fight will be scored in it’s entirety, encouraging damage based fighting and finishes Is your fighter man enough to step into the squared-circle? *NOW OPEN!* WHO? Heroes of Rio Kickboxing Federation is open and actively recruiting for weight classes 155-265+, with 135 and 145 possibly opening with enough interest. HEROES will operate on a ‘hybrid’ ID restriction. The 155, 185, and 265 lb weight classes will be Restricted to the 390k ID range while the 170, 205, and 265+ weight classes will be completely Unrestricted. WHAT? To separate ourselves from run of the mill MMA orgs, our match formats will feature fewer and shorter rounds to reduce energy loss, cuts, and injuries with the tradeoff hopefully being more fights and quicker turnaround. Restricted weight classes will fight 2 rounds of 3 minutes as a standard bout, with title fights eventually being 3 rounds of 3 minutes to mitigate draws as much as possible. Unrestricted weights will start at 3 rounds of 3 minutes with title fights being 5 rounds of 3 minutes. All matches will utilize a 10 point must scoring system and will take place in a ring hopefully to limit prolonged clinching, similar to real life. The idea behind all of these decisions is to provide a fast paced, action packed experience! WHEN? Recruiting is open now! Welcome to the League - an OPEN ID + 350k, year-long competition that will culminate into three separate 'Crowning Tournaments' in November/December. The Crowning tournaments will be 8-man tournaments seeded from a 6-month regular season. The 'Kings' will all be awarded with custom trophies and a cash prize. The sum is yet to be determined as of today. Weight Classes Open ID Lightweight - 170 and below (Contracts signed at WW) Middleweight - 171-204 (Contracts signed at LHW but all competitors will have to be able to make 204 lbs) Heavyweight - 205 and above (Contracts signed at 265) 350K Lightweight - 155 and below (Contracts signed at LW) Middleweight - 156-185 (Contracts signed at MW) Heavyweight - 186 and above (Contracts signed at 265+) Scoring Win = 3 points Loss = 1 point 1st round finish = 3 bonus points for victor 2nd round finish = 2 bonus points for victor Decision = 1 bonus point for both fighters Contracts All contracts will be non-exclusive and without signing bonuses. This is not meant to be your main fight org. If you want to be exclusive, that is fine, but realize you are fighting 4 times in the regular season - which runs until the end of the year. The League is meant to be a place to pop in and out over the course of the year and is not meant to disrupt other orgs' business. Matchmaking There will be no pool A, pool B etc.. All standings will be grouped by weight classes. When a fighter is ready to compete, he will sign up for an event. Every fighter who is ready to compete in an event will go into a Fight Pool. A week or two before the event, contracts will be sent out. After the contracts are signed, the matchups will be created and sent out. These matchups will be randomzied every event. There will be no rematches until the final tournament. If a rematch occurs, the matchups will be re-shuffled randomly. Regular Season Schedule Every fighter can participate in a maximum of 4 fights. There is no minimum limit. After the success of the Super Heavyweight Showdown tournament Xtreme K1 Combat are back with a 16 man tournament for the biggest and best 145lbs fighters in the game!! Rules: All fighters must make the 145lbs weight cut! There are NO ID restrictions! It will be a knockout tournament, the first set of fights will be drawn at random and we will then follow the ladder from there. If you lose your fight your out of the tournament.
