If Martin Lopez stands with RJ Davis, he'll get Knocked Out. And if Martin Lopez takes it to the ground, he'll get subbed. Lopez has no chance to win this. RJ Davis by 1st round stoppage!!

My client, Aiden "Sharpshooter" Mays, states that anyone who faces him had better find their happy place before the fight because they are going to end up in a world of hurt.

CCC NEWS WEEK 2

A lot of things happened this week at the California Combat Challenge.

Here is the weekly recap.

1- Inauguration of a new bantamweight division (135lbs)!

After many requests from fans and fighters alike, we finally introduced a new weight class to the CCC. Los Angeles fighters who want to fight at 135lbs will now have a new home. We already signed nearly 10 fighters in this new weight class. We are sure that the fans will appreciate these new fighters for the explosive shows they will put on with their incredible speed and agility.

2- Second Challenge

Our second event took place in front of a 700 people crowd and it was a complete success. It did a very good event rating of 52.04. Special thanks to Arthas Menethil, David Abot, Maurico Silva, Frank Rizzo and Chase Chay for their incredible fights.

3- Hard Rocking Designs Sunday Night Challenge 1

Our first Hard Rocking Designs (St-Petersburg) SNC was also another great success and will be remembered for a long time. First let's remind you of the SNC special rules: five 3 minutes rounds and fights judged on a whole. This event also sold out and 700 fans packed the Irish Pub to see a great night of fights. With a 57.77 event rating this event was the second best to be ever held in the city of Los Angeles. Again, thanks to all the fighters and special mentions to Anthony Frye, Oh Yeah, Vlad Draxx, Forest Griffen, Brazlin Palkow, Dilan Sober, Riley Esbobar and Kris Teverdosky

3- CCC now in the top 20

CCC broke the worldwide top 20 organizations ranking after holding only 3 events! This is an indication that the CCC is cementing his place as the best organization in LA and that one day it could be one of the best in the world. Our news will now be on top of the News & events section.

4 - Many things to come in the coming weeks.

We already have 2 events ready for the next weekend and in two weeks, we will be crowning our first champions in 4 of our weight classes, don't miss out!

Teverdosky wants the "Dirty" Sanchez.

Krystof Teverdosky informed his handlers today that he wants to fight the best of the best in CCC, and right now the best is Jesus Sanchez. Teverdosky has said he will not accept any fights unless they involve Sanchez.

Let's make this happen.

Jesus Sanchez is already scheduled to be fighting Vlad Draxx for the 205lbs title at CCC 4 : Crowning, June 13.

With his win over Riley Escobar, Krystof is amongst the contenders at 205 but he will need at least another win to have a shot at the title.

please look for my fight against Dick Destruction this weekend to be one of the most explosive and exciting fights in MMA you've ever seen... Dick looks like he's gonna be kinda tough on the ground... i can't wait to get in there and smash it out with him... i'm 1-1 and slowly getting better, and a tad smarter in my skill-set... i feel that i have the skill this weekend to overcome anything Dick Destruction has to bring to the cage and capitalize on him making a mistake...

- Darren Tamble 145

oh... by the way... it's CALIFORNIA COMBAT CHALLENGE... ain't no boys badder or meaner or more dangerous to get in the cage n' bang... we're all tough in our respective weight divisions... and CCC is going to produce some of the better shows... STAY TUNED!

CCC News - Week 3

Another exciting week at the California Combat Challenge.

Here is the weekly recap.

1- Best event EVER in LA - Third Challenge

Yes, CCC 3 was the best event to be ever held in LA according to the MMA Tycoon Event Ratings. Third Challenged scored an impressive 69.79 and will be forever remember has an epic event. Only 2 of the 10 fights went the distance, the rest of the night was all about brutal knockouts and painful submissions. It all started with Kevin Olson who collapsed his opponent with a massive right hook. The crowd was going completely nuts after this one! Then there was Warren Williams who submitted his opponent by Kimura in the second round after a very exciting first round that was a ground game clinic. Special mention to Chris Turner in the main event who managed to get through being rocked in the first round to later win his fight by rear naked choke in the third.

2- Hard Rocking Designs Sunday Night Challenge 2

Another excellent night of fights in front of a sold-out crowd at Wild Bob’s bar. Special thanks to Don Logan who reminded us of a prime Cro Cop when he knocked out his opponent in only 29 seconds with a beautiful high kick. That kick was so powerful that it reverberated across the whole arena! There was also Matt Manuel and Jambo who a great fight. The fight was spent mostly on the ground where both fighter showed lots of skills. Manuel was given the nod by the judges. Carl Jones and Matt Murghes also gave us an exciting fight that went the distance. Matt Murghes got rocked early in the first by a big right left combo but he managed to survive and showed a lot of heart in the rest of the fight. He even managed to win one or two rounds but Jones proved to be the better fighter that night. In the main event of the night Aiden Mays dominated the first four rounds but Bobby Brown didn’t give up. Right at the beginning of the fifth and final round, Mays throwed a sloppy jab that Brown countered by a big left hook that rocked May and Brown continued with a flurry of punches that finally knocked out his opponent. Impressive!

3- Fighters released from contracts

CCC had to release some the fighters who were under contract with them. All of those fighters were under performing and were showing losing records. The CCC is the #1 organization in LA and can’t keep fighters who continuously perform badly. Our fans want to see the best fighters and the most exciting matches and to continue to give them what they want, we most have the most elite roster in LA. CCC wants to expand to bigger arenas and bigger shows so having fighters that no one wants to see or care about is not the way to go. If one of your fighter was cut then we are sorry but we are sure that out competitors will be ready to take those second-rate fighters into their ranks! This will become a standard policy at the CCC, if after one or two fights you didn’t show us nothing and the fans hate you, we will have no choice but to cut you.

4- What to look out for next week

Many great things coming up next week. We will be crowning champions in nearly all of our divisions starting with our 185, 205, 265 and 265+ divisions at CCC 4 : Crowning. Then at Hard Rocking Designs Sunday Night Challenge 3 we will be crowning the 135, 145 and 155 kings. We will also be moving to the Underground - a 1000 place arena - for this occasion.
