The only thing we have planned right now is we are going to watch Las Vegas 51s vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox. I'm not really a baseball fan BUT it is $1 Budweiser night so its all good. Face Kicker Posted June 7, 2010 Report Share Posted June 7, 2010 if you plan on gambling with more than 100 bucks, then get a players card and do it all in the same casino so you can try to get some comps. http://www.ehow.com/how_2149525_comps-las-vegas-casinos.html also, if you're running low on money and want to drink for cheap and kill some time, then sit at the cheapest pai goa poker table you can find. it's the hardest game to LOSE money at, so you can usually play for a long time and just drink for free (well, for $1 tips anyway, unless you want the waitress to start passing you by) without losing any money. on one of my trips there i had never played it before, but a buddy of mine had, and we sat at a table for close to 7 or 8 hours without losing any money (well, i think he lost 30 bucks and i won 60 bucks, but still). good way to kill some time when your bankroll is nearly depleted. alternatively you can find a waitress in the slots area, order a drink, and just sit at a machine (without even playing) and wait for her to get back with it, then be on your merry way. if you plan on going to clubs, check them out online first. a lot of them have free entry until 10pm (for example) and then will have a cover charge of like 20 bucks after 10pm. getting there before 10 will save you money and decrease your chances of getting stuck standing in a line outside the place waiting for the bouncer to let people in. plus, girls tend to go to clubs before guys do anyway (bonus), so getting there earlier will give you a head start on the rest of the guys that show up later. Totally worth it, in the sheer amount of time it saves you. There was this area in Sahara that I liked. Something about the 60s....a bar back in the back. But that might just be me...it was all colorful and they played classic rock, and it was a little more chill, imo, than some of the other places. The cheapest buffet I found was also at Sahara, I think. Honestly, the Star Trek bar thing at the Hilton was pretty cool and good for a laugh if nothing else. If you just to be in a casino but not a club. If you like shopping (for expensive clothes, mostly), Caesar's Palace. Honestly, this was 3 years ago and I was drunk for a lot of it.
