Welcome one and all to Genesis! A brand-new fighting organisation based in Helsinki.

We're all looking forward to May 21st when Genesis will be hosting 'The First Challenge' at Helsinki's own Micro Arena. We've got nine fights in this event with two massive headline fights that any org would be prous to host.

First up is a 3 round 135lb fight between Hae Ki Park vs Sho Fukamachi. Fukamachi's an old hand at the sport with an impressive record of 19-11-0 and is currently rated No.1 in the organisation but the up and coming Park is not to be underrated as he's obviously been a long time preparing for this, his first ever fight. The scouts say this is going to be one interesting match as while Fukamachi has both the height and the weight advantage, Park has a higher level of boxing and Muay Thai training. Will Park move up the ranks after this match and will Fukamachi retain his No. 1 slot? Our owner (and myself) has his money down on Park but remember, this is MMA, surprises are always an option.

Our second main event is Michael Sulag vs Karl Hungus. Both fighters are quite highly ranked in our organisation and the scouts tell us that this match could easily go either way. Sulag has the better experience with a record of 4-2-0 and has a slightly higher level of boxing experience but Hungus is nearly 10cm taller and in this sport reach is very important. Hungus also has a brown belt in Brazilian JuJitsu, much higher than Sulag's blue, so my thoughts are that he'll be using that skill to his advantage in this match. Our owner is betting on Hungus winning this match but my opinion is that it's anyone's game and that it might just come down to who can get that KO strike in first.

Third on the card is Jao Lai vs Jari Teleporttila, another old vs new fight. Lai has experience on his side with a good record of 6-1-0 whereas Teleporttila only has two fights under his belt and has yet to win any of them. Lai has a good 14cm height difference on Teleporttila and is an elite Muay Thai fighter which might be difficult to counter, especially as Lai has won every decision he's fought to. However, if Teleporttila can use his superior boxing skills to try and KO Lai before the 3 rounds are up then he might just have a chance of winning this match up. Will he manage it? Our owner seems to think so.

Don't forget our other fights on the card! They promise to be just as exciting as our main events.

Ahmed Zahabi vs Vaino St Pierre 170lbs

Lars Almquis vs John Hughes 185lbs

Marko Filikovic vs Luke Andre 205lbs

Samson Dan vs Bryan Dann 135lbs

Louie Mendez vs German Valdez 170lbs

Rafal kiboL vs Duja Eru 185lbs

Genesis 6: Clash of the Titans Preview:

Genesis 6: Clash of the Titans kicks off this saturday in Paddy O'Malleys Bar in Helsinki and this one has a potential to be the best Genesis tournament yet.

This tournament will see 7 talented fighters coming to fight in their debut for the Genesis organization and 2 Super-Heavyweight fights of gigantic proportions with 4 fighters weighing over half a ton.

In the first Super-Heavyweight (265+ lbs) bout, two titans will take on each other, both looking for their first win after unlucky losses in their first match. Both the powerful wrestler Iso Korsto and monstrously built all-rounder Aki Heiskanen have been training heavily for this match and will fight relentless in this one.

The second Super-Heavyweight bout is a collision of two gigantic strikers, mighty Tyron Mades and skillful Brazilian, Rusimar Palhares. It is Palhares’ first for the Genesis organization and he wants to immediately prove why he was signed by them.

In 185 lbs division we will see the exciting Arabian fighter Duja "Pirouette" Eru looking to extend his win streak to 3-0 and continuing his unrelenting performance from the last match. He’ll have more than equal opponent in a dangerous underdog and strong submission artist Sergio Morais.

In another 185 lbs fight a talented polish youngster, Magic Hamer, will have his debut fighting against crowd favorite, homeboy Toni "The Nightmare" Kuivanen who has won his last two fights via excellent submissions and will do everything to win another one in his hometown.

After two losses by submissions, "The Scary French Guy" Jacques Villeneuve is seriously motivated to finish the fight as the last man standing with his fists high up in the air in another 185 lbs fight. The one who will try to prevent this from happening will be Ryu Rex, high Belgian prospect with dangerous hands.

In the first 170 lbs bout of the evening Ernest "T" Bass will face Jan "Grasshopper" Tuolminnen. In this excellent matchup, the experienced Bass is exciting fighter who likes to stand and trade the punches; he’s not afraid to step in and comes in the fight with a 3-0 win streak, highly motivated. The “Grasshopper” Tuolminnen surprised everybody and proved he is not one to mess with after a brutal knockout win via head-kick at Genesis 4. The outcome of this fight is impossible to predict but it will be very exciting fight and probably will not go the distance. They will both be looking for a high-profile finish.

In the next 170 lbs bout, experienced and skillful Canadian, Jim Shockey, will have his debut for Genesis. He comes in after a few losses and will be looking to prove to everybody that he is much better a fighter than his last fights have shown. Still, he definitely is about to have a hard job against German fighter Karl Hungus who is surprisingly well-rounded for his age and comes in the fight after a great win via Kimura in his last match.

Last two 170 lbs bouts will see young prospects Nikolai Kravvchenko and Joachim SenHan facing each other in their debut for Genesis while the unpredictable Mexican German Valdez will fight young Zimbabwean Namiska Button. This one is due to be a crazy fight because of the Mexican’s hot blood and his bold fighting style and Zimbabwean’s readiness to let his hands go. Both are ready to leave their heart in the cage.

The upcoming Genesis 6: Clash of the Titans tournament has potentially great fights and matchups truly justify the name “Clash of the Titans”.

Be ready this Saturday!

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to give you a preview of Genesis 9: Simply the Best on July 15, 2011. First we have an anouncement to make, thank to Nutrition Oracle will be sponosring extra rewards for "of the night" winners. Nutrition Oracle will sponsor two Oracle Reduce Energy Loss Q134 supplements and clothing provided by Gilop® to the winners "of the night". Make sure to visit Nutrition Oracle and participate in the drawing and maybe you could be the lucky winner? Visit Nutrition Oracle for further details. Now Back to our event brought to you by Genesis.

First Fight of the Night: 185 lbs. Hamer (0-1) vs Kibol (1-2, 1 Sub)

Both fighters are close in skills wise, but Kibol is better in the clinch. Kibol has won one fight by submission, so he may try to take advantage of his ground skills. The victor will be determined by takedowns and in the clinch.

Prediction: Kibol by Submission

Second Fight of the Night: 135 lbs. Kamakazi (0-0) vs Fukamachi (19-13, 14 Subs)

Kamakazi has a better stand up game but not by much. Fukamachi has an awesome ground game, 14 submission out of 19 wins, wow what a high ratio. He also has more experience than Kamakazi. Actually this is Kamakazi's debut. This will come down to controlling the clinch, ground, and who is more conditioned.

Prediction: Fukamachi by Submission

Third Fight of the Night: 170 lbs. Valdez (2-7) vs Tuolminnen (2-0, 1 KO)

Veldez has more experience, but Tuolminnen has a better stand up game and he has 1 knockout out of two wins. Valdez is a purple belt and is better on the ground. Tuolminnen has some knockout power, but can he defend agianst Valdez' takedowns and can Valdez defend against Tuolmminnen knockout power?

Prediction: Valdez by Decision

Fourth Fight of the Night: 185 lbs. Matsdottir (3-5, 1 Sub) vs Eru (4-3-1, 3 KO's)

Eru has knockout power, having 3 victories out 4 wins coming by knockout. Matsdottir could be in trouble, he has 4 out of 5 losses by knockout. Matsdottir must get Eru on the ground and control the fight there, hopefully get a sub. If Eru could use keep his distance and use his knockout power, then Eru has not problem. Matsdottir must take this fight on the ground, so this will come down to clinch and distance control.

Prediction: Eru by Knockout

Fifth Fight of the Night: 170 lbs. Shockey (4-9) vs St Pierre (4-1, 2 KO's)

Wow, this fight both fighters are the same in stand up. I would have to give the edge to St Pierre, due to that he has 2 out of 4 wins by the way of knockout. Shockey has better skills on the ground, and need to get the fight on the ground. This is also comes down to the clinch and ground control.

Prediction: St Pierre by knockout

Sixth Fight of the Night: 185 lbs. Bobandy (1-0, 1 Sub) vs Kuivanen (3-0, 3 Subs)

What to say about this fight? Oh yea it is going to be a heck of a fight. Both Bobandy and Kuivanen are ground submission artist. Kuivanen has 2 more fights than Bobandy, but that is all that seperates them. Both fighters have 1:1 sub to win ratio, so they are both masters of submission. This will come down to who is better conditioned.

Seventh Fight of the Night: 170 lbs. Jones (11-4, 6 KO's) vs Robertson (10-4, 6 KO's)

This is another exciting fight. Both have knockout power and same losses. Jones has one more fight than Robertson. Jones is also coming off a two fighting winning streak, and both wins are the by way of TKO. Robertson is coming off a three fight winning streak, two out of the three were by the way of TKO. Jones has better skills in the stand up, but Robertson has a slight edge on the ground. Robertson my have an edge with knockout power, but not by much. This will come down to who has better conditioning.

Prediction: Jones by Decision

Co-Main event: 265 lbs. Midas (0-0) vs Zend (10-3, 7 KO's)

This is Midas debut, and he has been training all this time. He has the potential to be a beast, we'll know for sure now. Hands down Zend has more experience and has knockout ability. Zend has 7 wins out of 10 by the way of knockout. Zend is also has some game on the ground. Zend displayed some ground skills, but we don't know about Midas. Who ever could control the distance will be the victor.

Prediction: Zend by Decision

Main Event: 205 lbs. Williams (3-5, 3 KO's) vs Greycie (8-5, 8 Subs)

Ladies and gentlemen, have come to the main event. Williams has 3 knockouts out of 3 victories. He does have knockout power and has a better stand up game. Greycie also a master at what he does, he has 8 submissions out of 8 victories. Each fighter has 5 losses, but Greycie has more fights and victories. Keys to victory for Williams are controling the distance and the clinch. He needs to take advantage of Greycie's weak stand up game. Greycie's keys to victory are to get the fight to the ground. Chance are that if he gets Williams on the ground, Greycie will submit him. Talking about masters at what they do and they are completely opposites of fighting styles. This sure will be an exciting and interesting fight.

Prediction: Williams by Knockout

Interview with our contender for the bantamweight championship - Hae Ki Park

Legend :

R:- Redactor

H: - Hae Ki Park

R: Hello Park !

H: Hello everyone !

R:How are going your preperations for this fight, what do you think about your opponent, and do you have any special gameplan for this fight?

H: First of all, thank you for your intrest in me.

H: In the upcoming fight aim to stay standing. I was defeated once on the ground that is Nappi's domain and in this rematch I look to engage him standing, which is my area of expertise.

R: You had the opportunity to fight at Genesis events three times, how do you rate your previous appearances?

H: I think the first one was clearly the best one, I was able to keep the fight where I was able to capitalize my own strengths and provide a clean finish to the fight. In two latest matches I spent way too much time on the ground, which really isn't my element, so they were much weaker performances.

H: All of my latest matches have been against skilled opposition though so I'd give myself rating of 3,5 out of 5.

R: In what category of the fight do you feel the best (BJJ, Wrestling, Stand-up), and what do you expect from you opponent?

H: Stand-up is clearly where I excel, Nappi on the otherhand is a ground specialist with good stand-up skills to back it up with. I think this will be a classical striker vs grappler match-up, where he'll try to take me down , looking for submissions and I aim to kick his lower jaw to the crowd.

R: Genesis is fairly new organization, here in Helsinki. How do you rate the level of this organization? What do you think about her future? And what does it mean for you to fight for the title here, in Genesis?

H: Well, this is the first organisation I signed in as a pro, and I like it here. Org is growing rapidly and it feels like I am growing with it, meeting new challenges every fight. I think the future will be bright for the org and the fighters signed in to it if things continue like this. The chance to fight for the title is among the greatest things I've ever experienced in my life and I hope I can perform accordingly.

R: And last question - would you like to say something to your fans or to your opponent?

H: I'd like to thank the fans, your support has been essential thing starting my career and I hope that after this match there will be even more of you. Mr. Nappi is a great man, but I have nothing to say to him. At the moment I only look forward to meeting him in the cage and finding out who is the better man. We can talk afterwards.
