Anyone have any success with a BJJ fighter

Are there any good BJJ fighters on the game?

Guys who win mostly by submissions.

I'm thinking of a BJJ player for my next long term project, but thinking is it worth it and can he be a success.

Looking at real life not many top fighters are BJJ fighters as there main offence apart from Shinya Aoki but he sucked against GM.

Anyone?

My fighter, monkey luffy is a bjj guy. He has won 8 of his 9 by sub. But yes been knocked out five times as well. But he'd still ranked about 880, so I guess I've had marginal success with a bjj guy.

Barbados Slim

His primaries aren't scary yet but he's been fighting since creation pretty much. He was doing a creation league thing in St. Pete. Smart manager, he's probably got very good defensive secondaries. But yea, sub specialists are pretty successful with a little slider smarts.

Eaton Cox is predominantly a BJJ fighter altho in the early days of his career, he displayed some nice standup skills.

I remember writing a preview for one of his fights like a year ago. Still to this day, it's my favorite name lol. My girlfriend walks in the office...

"What are you writing about?"

"Eaton Cox!"

"Okay then...good night!"

My only bjj specialist : http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=70193

but he will be my only one. i wont be creating any bjj fighters anymore, primarily boxer can do a job, primaril mt can do the job, but to be a bjj fighter ou need full wrestiling part, so it is to much of a work and results arent that promising. well, at least in m opinion.

Most of his subs are from the golden age of BJJ in 2009.

In 2010 & 2011, Manny has a grand total of 3 sub wins in 16 fights.

Well, he's actually scored a sub recently following the ground changes, so there's that.

Johnny Creep (the manager) also has a load of BJJ guys.

If I could actually get the sliders right on the ground I may have more sucess there.

I like ground guys but I suck at making them work well, got a fast learning 18 year old now who I have hope for but going to have to really work on improving my sliders to get sucess out of him.

what i have found is , a primary bjj fighter will sub opponents early in his career say the first eight fights , but mma tycoon has a steep learning curve that isnt mentioned

what SHOULD happen is the more fights your fighter has , the better the opponents get , if your not fighting cans you will meet fighters that have exeptional defensive grappling ect.

so those sub wins become decision wins , never be put off if your fighter is grinding desisions out , i have found that these type of fighters once they get standup sorted are hard to beat.

when facing an opponent i always check how many decision wins he has , and adapt my game plan , decision fighters although not exicting to look at are potentialy very god fighters.
