145 K1 Tourny

In an effort to start building the 145 division of PSI, we are going to host a K1 stle tourny. First of all, the plans going forward are that the 145 division will consist of 159K ID builds and higher only. Also, with the new ticker system for fighter development/skill maintence we are going to keep this division K1 style (stand up fighting only). What this will do is allow you to focus on those aspects only and not worry about maintaining all the ground based skills to defend against ground fighteras. Now, if you want to move on to training those other areas to become a balanced fighter with standup and ground fighting then you can do so. However, at the first sign of development os ground skills, you will no longer be allowed to fight in the division (wrestling goes from useless to abysmal).

For the tourny:

The total cash prize will be 100K, this will be split between 1st, 2nd and 3rd

1st= $70K also will be crowned champion.

2nd= $20K

3rd= $10K

Something I would lile to do differently to prevent fighters from being sacked if the fall out of the running for a cash prize is to charge an entry fee, much like you might have to do to take part in a real life tourny. This fee is going to be $500, upon finishing the tourny all no cash prize winning fighters will receive their fee's back.....I will also offer a contract to stick around and try to work your way up for a title shot.

Looking to sign 16 fighters (new builds or already built fighters) and will be double elimination.

Contracts will be 1/1500/2000 for 5 fights, however after fight 4 all will be given a new contract for 5 more fights worth 1/2000/2500 to close out the tourny. After 4 more fights you will be offered a new contract for 4 fights and offered signing bonuses amd pay based on how your fighter's hype is (you will not be offered less than the 2000/2500).

Fighters can be based anywhere long as they make the trip (London, St. Pete and A'dam are extremely close, while NY and Montreal aren't to far out either). This isnt a new build tourny either, long as they are 150K and up ID with useless wrestling and white belt, they qualify.

Currently no date is set to start and won't be until we have almost filled the 16 slots. I would like to start the first round of fights in early October or potentially end of Sept.

Here he is Liam “The Hitman” Harrison, training out of Team Funkyama, New York.

http://www.mmatycoon.com/fighterprofilemanager.php?FID=153240

This Yorkshire Muay Thai specialist is big news on the local scene winning various amateur titles, he is 18 and ready to make his professional debut.

Not much is known about this fighter outside of his home town in Leeds, and hopes this opportunity in the K-1 tournament, win, lose or draw will give The Hitman world wide recognition.

When asked what Harrison would bring to the tournament he replied with “I'm coming to bring it, every second of every round, I'm coming in that ring to knock someone out, I'm going to cut you with my elbows, I'm bruising your rib cage with my knees, I'm knocking you out with my right hook and I'm punishing your thighs with leg kicks. Every part of my body is a weapon, I'm going to be faster than my opponent, be more agile, have better head kicks, be stronger, have a bigger gas tank. I'm going aggressive baby, none of that counter crap, if you wanna counter go fight MMA, this is K-1, its all about the knock outs!”

You heard it here first Liam Harrison is the first guy announced and he means business.

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of communication....I sent a reply a while back, but it never went through. I've been trying to run things through my phone until I'm able to replace my PC. Anyy how: I think I'll cap the age at 22 for new creations, simply do to the diference in creations points from 18 to 25. I'm going to contact all the possible entries and see if we have enough to get started or now. Once I have the roster together and determine how many new builds there...that will determine the start date.

Yeah, I haven't been able to get to a computer to send a mass message to my org fighters, for whatever reason it won't let me type in the message box for a bulk emaol, however I'm going to the library tomorrow and will get out some extra communication out there for interest. So later today I'll get this done and determine where we stand....

Alright guys, I may have 2 more fighters for this, just waiting on confirmation. We still need more guys.....unfortunatly It's hard for me to keep up on things via my phone. So, I'm looking tor hire someone to help get the fighters needed and organize the events for the tourny. Employment would be from date of accepted employment offer and through the last event which crowns the winner. Pay will be discussed, however I have a number in mind. Please, I'm looking for guys with experience as an org owner or previous employment with an org. Please send your resume to my email. Looking to hire someone asap. I'll keep the position open until this Friday.
