Excerpt of post fight press conference with Kenrick Nikil

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/38/38w16.jpg

Reporter: I know you are disappointed, but can you give your thoughts on how the fight went down?

Nikil: Yeah, obviously I would have preferred a different result. Like one that didn't involve me getting knocked out, but I gotta tell ya, I kind of expected this result. I was not really ready for the title shot, but one doesn't get asked for the title shot again if they turn it down the first time generally. So, of course I took it.

Styles, is a great champion. I think that if he beats Kalashnikov that he will be in there for a long time to come. Other than Yuri, I just don't know if there is anyone else here that has a chance. And even Yuri tried and failed once already. Congratulations to the champion. I guess it's back to the drawing board for me. Hopefully I will break my trend of losing two fights after every two wins I get.

DKJR. after his viewing of INY 21

Ariel Helwani: Mr. King how do you feel about tonghts performances?

DKJR: Only in America, the land of opportunity, can the DKJR. Fight Camp have such an uneven showing. Andy getting completely demolished and Ron Sparks doing the demolishing. We could not have been more disapointed for Mr. Ridge, and could not be happier for Ron Sparks. Overall, I would say it was an exiting night for us.

Ariel Helwani: Then Mr. King what are the futures of Sparks and Ridge?

DKJR:Andy needs to go back to the drawing board, and has told me he may go into a career of performance art, which he feels may be his true calling. As far as Ron, we are not sure. Tonight he exposed a fraud of a fighter. My daddy knew the real Smoking Joe Fraizer, and this man was a fake. We are happy tonight we had a chance to expose him as well as move up the totem pole. After this it is in managements hands.

Ariel Helwani: So Mr. King any big things in the works?

DKJR: At Super Heavyweight I am really excited by a few fighters. Tommorow Japans great hope in the division battles, and we are hoping for a submission victory. We have a few other classes in the work, and word on the street is Cung Le has looked phenominal in camp, so we will see what he can do and how the camp improves. We would like to thank all the press for covering this event, now im off to the club to celebrate wit sum big booty bi. . . . . I mean self respecting young women

IMMORTALS NEW YORK

Presents

INY FIGHT NIGHT XI

From

Wild Bobs Bar in New York, NY

June 18, 2012

Like a steel-toed boot , driven deep into your sleeping uncle’s nads, INY offers up another installment of Fight Night. So grab a beer in one hand, cover your genetic transmitter with the other, close your eyes and wait for the immobilizing pain. It’s INY and the Fight Night XI preview, next!

Fight #1

185lbs

Waclaw Bindon (0-3) VS Ben Roofer (0-0)

Waclaw Bindon is suffering through an 0-3 losing streak. He’s been KO’d once, and sub’d twice. Bindon is facing a fresh, 18 year old kid in Ben Roofer. Bindon has equal boxing skills, better MT, and slightly better bjj. However, at 0-3, I’m not sure if Bindon’s a guy who just needs to get out of the fight game altogether from a lack of ability, or if his manager simply has no concept of proper training or fight strategy. If Bindon doesn’t win this fight (which based on his skills and superior experience, he should), Bindon might consider golf ball retrieval , or catching snappers in the Kentucky outback with the “Turtle Man” !!! Ye ye ye eye y eye LIVE ACTION!!! Bindon should win his first fight in the INY via sub.

Fight #2

185lbs

Antonio Rizzo (0-4) VS Izzy Stradlin (1-1)

Rizzo is another guy who needs to decide what he wants! Rizzo is 0-4, and his following consist of a homeless guy and a bill collector! He’s been KO’d, sub’d, and lost 2 decisions. At 23 yrs old, without a win, selling Hoover Vacuums may be in this guy’s immediate future. Enter Izzy Stradlin! Stradlin is 1-1, with a win by decision. This kid is 19, he’s wet behind the ears, but he has a fairly descent wrestling game and some bjj to back it up once he’s down in the bog. The only way for Rizzo to avoid going 0-5 and being forced to live in a van down by the river is to clinch, and release this pent up MT game he keeps trying to sell everyone . Personally, I don’t see it. Stradlin will invite him into a clinch, take Rizzo down, and use the mat to burp this Italian kid before he subs him while eating a canole with the other hand.

Fight #3

170lbs

Safdar Al Razi (1-0) VS Joey Sekyere (0-2)

Al Razi is 1-0, with a l win by sub. Sekyere is 0-2, with a loss by a sub, and another by decision. Al Razi will look to clinch and use his MT, while Sekyere will want to stay up and ride the outside of the cage to make use of his far superior boxing skills. With Sekyere being 0-2, and earning a giant “fail” in regard to putting anyone on their keister as of yet , I have doubts about his strength and accuracy. I mean, you can have the biggest bombs on the planet, but if you can’t drop them where they need to go, they are pretty much just big useless paper-weights. Al Razi will claim another victory for Allah by clinching Sekyere, softening him up with MT, pulling him down using the guard, and then subbing Sekyere and improving to 2-0 while increasing his awaiting virgin count in paradise!!!

Fight #4

185lbs

Chowyu Neehow (2-0) VS Scevola Zangari (1-1)

At 2-0, Neehow has a great start to his career. Inevitably, everyone meets their match, and that’s what Neehow has done by agreeing to fight Zangari. Zangari is 1-1, but he’s been training longer than Neehow, he has much more man-stank in the stand-up, and if that weren’t enough, Zangari has fight-ending bjj skill on the ground. Anywhere this fight goes, Zangari seems to have the upper-hand and this guy will be keepin his MMA pimp-hand strong! Zangari by sub or drawn-out decision.

Fight #5

265+lbs

Minowa Fajiati (2-0) VS Trevor Munson (0-1)

Watching and predicting Minowa Fajiata is like trying to figure out where and when that tornado is going to touch down. Before you know it, it’s over and there are pieces and parts ripped off and scattered everywhere! Unless you can take advantage of this guy’s weakness in the stand-up, he’ll show you that he’s just as home on the ground as OJ is in a 6x6 state-ran guest-house (Oh geezzz..c’mon now, you know he did it….and Johnny Cochran is now Satan’s personal prosecuter)! Moving on…Unless Trevor Munson can land an un-expected shot to Fajiata’s helmet , Fajiata will drag this guy down, the glove will fit, and no amount of airport hurdling or Al Cowling’s and a white bronco will save Munson. Kato predicts Fajiata by sub..

Fight #6

205lbs

Derick Smith (3-1) VS Jordan Silver (4-3)

Smith is 3-1 and he’s won in every way possible . I think it’s safe to assume that Smith has ample talent all the way around. Smith’s only loss, is by decision. Smith will face Jordan Silver who is 4-3, but surprisingly with a purple belt in bjj, has only 1 win by sub? His additional wins come by decision. Here’s the dilemma. Guys who win a majority of fights by decision are usually wrestlers lacking in explosive power. Here in the INY, if you don’t have any power, you are inviting guys to come in, and test your chin. Derick Smith will be more than happy to ablige Silver. This fight could really go either way. Silver has been training much longer than Smith, but Smith is leaps and bounds far superior in the stand-up. On the flip side, Silver is more experienced on the ground, but if he can’t keep Smith on the bottom, he may wake up bruised, bloodied, and wishing he had mounted an ugly woman with lots of money instead! I think Smith will pound away on Silver, stuff the takedown attempts, break Silver’s spirit, and send him sprawling , limp and somewhat uglier. Smith by TKO (strikes) via GNP, or straight up KO.

Fight #7

265lbs

Andy Arnold (2-1) VS Shavo Odin (2-1)

MONEYMAKER ALERT $$$

Both fighters enter this contest 2-1, however that’s where ANY similarity ends. Arnold has wins via a sub and a decision. His loss is via a KO. Ironically Odin has 2 wins by KO’s. Boys, this is a straight up full-house!!!! Odin has better boxing, better MT , far better wrestling , and equal if not better bjj… ALL IN on this one. Odin by murder!

Fight #8

185lbs

Sweatty Mullins (3-4) VS Jack Sparrow (5-3)

As much as I enjoy Jack Sparrow’s movie’s, and especially that hot-ass Kiera Knightley…Sparrow is somewhat out-matched in his upcoming fight against Sweaty Mullins. It seems rather wrong that a guy with such a grade-school bully’s name like “Sweatty Mullins” can best the legendary “Capt Jack”..but reality sucks and maybe that’s why I’m not married to Sophia Vigara? Mullins has better boxing, much better MT, but Sparrow can find some grace in the fact that he is evenly matched in both wrestling and bjj with Mullins. Can Capt Jack find some way to come out on top??? With a 5-3 record, 1 win by KO and 4 wins by decision, he’ll def have to find some movie magic, steal the Rocky script, or borrow a bazooka from a Rambo set. Mullins will pound Sparrow against the ropes, soften him up, then attempt to cement him into the mat like a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and apply some special effects to his face. Sorry Capt Jack, I’ll do you a solid and hang with Kiera till you’re better! Mullins by TKO (strikes).

Fight #9

145lbs

Mavilet Batirov (4-2) VS Nick Shiels (3-0)

Batirov VS Shiels is a fight chuck-full of “possibilities” Batirov has 4 wins with 2 KO’s, and Shiels is 3-0 with 3 subs. It’s a given, somebody is going to feel pain!!!! The real story here, more than each fighter’s individual skills, is the age difference. Batirov is 26 yrs old, he’s more mature, and he has more experience. Shiels is 19 yrs old, and his entire fight plan rests in his ability to be patient and find his opponents weakness vis his bjj. The question here is , “Can Shiels mentally outlast Batirov? This camp thinks that Shiels will find a way to pull guard, and sub Batirov in an upset. This fight has all the makings of mom’s corn bread and beans with a side order of “fight of the night”.

Fight #10

205lbs

Dan Gaffney (3-1) VS Frank Rua (5-1)

In our last fight of the night, we have a well-rounded fighter in Dan Gaffney at 3-1 with 2 wins via KO, against sub specialist Frank Rua at 5-1 with 3 wins by sub and an additional 2 wins by decision. Gaffney is only 19 yrs old, but has actually been in the fight game longer than 27 year old Rua. I’m a little feeble in my memory at 45 yrs of age, but I distinctly remember Mufasa teaching Simba life lessons, not the other way around. Unless Gaffney can clinch Rua, and truly make him pay via MT, there is no doubt that the more mature, physically superior Rua will take this fight to the ground, and like Mufasa…he’s going to eat the butt outta this badass rhino named Gaffney. Rua by sub.

That’s it, I’m Dean Holliday for INY’s Fight Night XI Preview. See “you”, at the fights!

Ladies and Gentleman, the man they call "The Last Great Hope of Japanese MMA", The man who has been described as leaving in his wake "a tornado of scattered limbs", the man who taught Frank Mir, Sakuraba, and Shinya Akoi how to do their submissions. Thats right we are speaking about Minowa "The Submission Machine" Fujiati, who has remained undefeated and has never been out of the first round, is a lot of things, one of them is humble. This is why he is and will be managed by myself, because behind every great fighter is a great mouthpiece. He has a simle request for Immortals, he was wondering if there was going to be a superheavyweight tournament after TUF, and if so we at the DKJR. fight camp demand his entrance into this tournament. Until then we do see that edward hall is on a two fight win streak but if you would rather wait for a higher ranked opponent we understand your decision. Minowa just wants another limb for his collection, since he already has a neck, an arm and a knee.

After TUF 4, the top 4 ranked fighters from the TUF competition will fight it out for the title, in ranking 1 v 4 , 2 v 3. Previous team memberships at this point will be irrelevant.

Payments will also be made to managers as agreed in the original notifications.

For the remaining fighters at 265 plus, scheduling of fights will take place under normal divisional conditions.

There are a number of non TUF fighters highly ranked and should remain well placed then title shots will come.

Melton camp statement -

We would like to thank Hudock for taking the rematch and it was a good fight.

We are very proud and excited for Don. We feel that his comeback run is just beginning and we look forward to his future success. Don is still in the hospital recovering, he should be making a statement in a few days.

Immortals HQ New York City, an incredibly fit blonde supermodel personal assistant who also has technical skills of international porn star, takes a call from Juan Pedro of the Stark Sluggers Gym.

Pedro “Hey can I speak to Mr Steel please?

Chantelle Baise Bien “Who is calling please, and what is the nature of your call?

Pedro “Its Pedro from the Stark, Steel wants an update on one of his guys training here.”

Miss Baise Bien “Sure I will put you through”.

Chantelle Baise Bien p.a. and just one of Peel Steels’ many lovers transfers the call through to Steel, who is merrily dropping baby frogs into his Piranha tank to pass the time.

Steel “Pedro, you got news for me then?”

Pedro “Yeh, its about your guy Ali Basra.”

Steel “Oh yeah the Asian lad from Bradford.”

Pedro “Yeh the Brit, anyway, he looks ready, and all the guys have been pumping him about this Razi guy, who is fucking with Jamaal. Anyways, Basra wants that fight, and we think he is ready to put a beating on him.”

Steel “Razi is at 170 and got a fight coming up.”

Pedro “You seen Razi, build like a lady boy, dude would easily make 155, it would be the fight the Muslim community want, seems that kid Razi has upset a lot of serious dudes in Basra’s community, so Basra has to take some kind of retribution on that bitch Razi. Way I see it, your guy will take him.”

Steel “OK Pedro, I will take it from here, thanks man, good work you guys are doing there, Stark is a great gym.”

Pedro “ Thanks Mr Steel, good to have some of your crew with us.”

Steel calls through to Chantelle Baise Bien.

“Chantelle honey, get the word to Dean and Bruno, Ali ‘The Terror’ Basra is coming for that Soft Lad Al Razi, we got one hell of a holy war coming.”

Chantelle “ Sure Steel babey, anything else I can help with out with..”

Corey Smith's post fight interview.

Ring Announcer: Disappointing loss. Can you tell us what went wrong with your fight plan?

Corey Smith: Nothing, really. The champ is just that good. I think there were somethings I could do better now that I have experienced this fight, but I didn't do anything wrong really, just maybe didn't do enough right. He's tough. Hats off to him.

Announcer: Alright, there you have it.

Corey Smith: [leaning into the mic] Can I just say a few things real fast?

Announcer: Sure.

Corey Smith: I just want to say congratulations to the Champ. He put up one Hell of a fight. I tried to deliver the upset but I was just not up to the task. This will happen again though folks. I am not done and I will be coming back for more. I want to thank Vladimir van Kirkland for this fight, you are one tough son of a gun. I would also like to thank Peel Steel and the Immortals - New York Fight Promotion for putting this together. I would like to thank Brunno Falcone and my training staff. They did a great job in prepping me for this fight. Thanks most of all to the fans. The whole reason I do this is for you guys [points out to the crowd] I love you guys. You will see me again.

TUF 4 – The Final Conflict

Tonights card sees the final round of the TUF series with Team Crixus holding 17 wins as opposed to Team Spartacus 10 wins. Unless Team Spartacus perform a miracle the team event is already over, and these guys are fighting for ranking positions and financial reward.

The top 4 ranking TUF combatants will then fight 1 vs 4 rank and, 2 vs 3 rank, with the winners fighting to decide the champion.

So let’s run through tonight’s fights:

Lebedev vs Sheet

A meeting of undefeated wrestlers, both from two of the best camps in MMA, this one could come down which fighter has the most heart, best chin or KO power. These guys could meet again in either the semi or final, so this meeting will give us an indication of maybe who the first champion will be.

Pick: Sheet

Fontes vs Kowski

Undefeated Muay Thai fighter Fontes 3-0 will look to secure a semi-final spot against wrestler Kowksi 2-1. Kowski needs to get this fight to the ground early to win this one, and possibly upset Fontes. This is Fontes’ toughest challenge to date, and he must be come through this one if he is to be competitive against Lebedev or Sheet in the near future.

Pick: Fontes

Hotop vs Abdullah II

The much anticipated rematch with Hotop looking to avenge his only loss against the controversial Abdullah, who has lost his other fights. Hotop must stuff Abdullah’s takedown attempts and counter punch his way to victory. I see Hotop setting the record straight by KO.

Pick: Hotop

Riggs vs Revis

Riggs 2-1 needs to counter punch using his boxing against Revis who will look for the ground his foe and use is BJJ skills. Depends on takedown defense on who takes this one, it could go either way.

Pick: Riggs

Jones vs Bartley

Jones 2-1 is a wonderful wrestler from the T Roy camp and he will desperately want this win and hope it’s enough to get a semi-final spot. Bartley must counter heavily and keep this standing or he will get destroyed. I take Jones to get the takedown, and then he must wait and see if he has done enough.

Pick: Jones

Ulrich vs Rowe

Both these guys are 1-2, and this one is a great clash of styles with Ulrich the wrestler having to be super careful against the BJJ Purple belt of Rowe. Rowe has the stand up skills to win this standing, so it depends if Ulrich has enough ground acumen to win with lay and pray tactics.

Pick: Rowe

Oliakinen vs Bradley

Debutant Oliakinen takes on another well rounded fighter, in the shape of 1-2 Bradley. This one could be interesting, because Oliakinen has the strong boxing to keep Bradley honest, however I think Bradley will edge this in a close encounter.

Pick: Bradley

Radden vs Nunn

Can Radden keep this standing against BJJ Brown belt Nunn. Both these guys have been struggling and need a win, especially Nunn, who you have to hope has been working on securing takedowns. His preparation will be the deciding factor, however it looks as though he has been training stand up, so if Radden can keep on his feet, he can KO Nunn.

Pick: Radden

Two other fights are on this card, and both are in the 170lb division.

Bradshaw vs Barrera

Granite chinned boxing destroyer Bradshaw 3-1 faces the well rounded Barrera 2-2. Bradshaw is coming with less than 100% rest so he is either poorly prepared or very confident. Barrera needs to keep this on the ground, something he failed to do in his last fight and he got knocked out. If he fails in this department again, he will face the same fate, and this is my prediction.

Pick: Bradshaw

Von Hammer vs Holmes

Pure stand up war with the boxer Hammer facing the MT guy Holmes. Both of these guys are wonderful. Hammer is older but less experienced, and Holmes is coming off 2 straight losses, albeit to older or top class opposition. This one could go either way, but as neither Monroe or Coke could stop Holmes he may just outlast Hammer, but who knows?

Pick: Holmes?

OK, MMA fans that’s the overview, enjoy your evening.

Richie.

Sparks vs Yuri is signed. The DKJR. Fight Camp is very happy with this bout, and and we are excited that after exposing Joe Fraizer has caused a move up in the heavyweight class, and we are looking forward to a war. We hope the man from Kazakhstan is ready to go bomb for bomb. Cuz only in America and only in Immortals do we bring in such phenominal international talent.

Meet the hottest prospect in the 145 lbs. divison, "Sensational" Stevie Williams

Coming out of Oakland, Williams was strongly urged to turn pro in boxing after an amazing 48-1 amateur record (the one loss came courtesy of a DQ), but turned it down for his desire to be a complete warrior. Now as a newly signed member of Immortals New York, he will take on & destroy all comers as he looks to achieve his goal of being world champion.

Wellman Junior: Its almost fight time for me, gotta get my act together after 3 straight losses. Not time to hang up the gloves yet though, maybe after this I getta deal with Immortals again and maybe a rematch against Tinsdell or I finally get Pintor. If not I'm thinking probably taking a bit of time off to train and relax and come back here later, don't think Imma drop down to 145.

"The New Thing" Marcus Williams: Not too much longer till I sign and take Immortals 170 by storm, can't wait

IMMORTALS NEW YORK

PRESENTS

INY FIGHT NIGHT XII

LIVE FROM WILD BOB’S BAR IN DOWNTOWN NEW YORK, NY

June 27,2012

Here we are, with another preview of "INY's Fight Night". The verdict is in, and it's "guilty" on 45 counts...good luck in the hoo-skow doubling as a human pin-cushion coach! While you're nursing your sphincter and sitting on your state-sponsored butt-doughnut, take a minute and check out our INY Fight Night XII Preview. It'll make you feel better than a tub o' vasoline and a day in the infermory with that cute little male-nurse.

Fight # 1

205 lbs

Beecher Meetz (2-3) v Lore Helord (2-3)

We have 2 fighters who are trying to turn their careers around and at least achieve a .500 record. The winner will capture some hope, while the loser falls farther down the rabbit- hole. Beecher Meetz has a slight advantage in MT and wrestling bravado, while Helord takes the nod in boxing, and experience. To the naked eye, this fight should go to Meetz (on paper), but Meetz has been KO’d twice so his chin is suspect and susceptible to a surprise assault and battery of the noggin . Helord is older, and has been training longer, however, Helord has only KO’d one opponent so Superman he’s not. I look for Meetz to go for the takedown, and grind it out for 3 rounds and a decision.

Fight # 2

205 lbs

Mel Turd (1-0) v Jock Stark (3-0)

Oh young Grasshopper… Mel Turd rang up a victory over a more experienced Jamal Kilgore, but let’s face it, there wasn’t any fireworks or explosions, unless of course you count the guy who did 10 shots of Wild Turkey and ate 6 bean burrito’s before the event. Turd won on a decision to a guy who is 1-3. I give Turd props for being young, confident, and full of piss and vinegar. However, he’s signed up to face Stark who is more experienced, is 3-0 with 3 wins by sub, and whose opponents records are fairly descent. Turd is strictly relying on his wrestling skills to win this fight, but Stark will dare Turd to take him down, Stark will offer guard, then Stark will squeeze Mel Turd till it hurts, letting out a relief filled moan as Turd goes to sleep and becomes a “floater” or “breaks off” and retreats. <Yea..I went there..it was a fastball>. It’s Stark by sub to go 4-0.

Fight # 3

170 lbs

KC Storm (1-3) v Edward Louis Iii Severson (2-1)

Talk around INY is that KC Storm’s chin is as weak Rodney King’s floatees. Storm has found himself at the bottom of the pool in 2 out of 3 fights. Unlike Storm, Severson has shown recent life by winning 2 of his last 3 fights, and stopping a descent- to-midland fighter in Bogi Berara. These two fighters are pretty evenly matched with the exception of Severson’s far superior wrestling. Severson also has the edge in training and experience. I don’t see KC Storm treading water with Severson in this fight. Severson will soften Storm up against the ropes, test Storm’s chin, wait for an opportunity to drag Storm down into the deep, and then he’ll look for Storm to over-extend himself and end the fight via GNP or sub. Looks like a DNR “do not resuscitate” for KC Storm.

Fight # 4

265+ lbs

Abdullah Goldenberg (4-1) v Borislav Chazinski (4-1)

This fight is ending badly for someone! Both Goldenberg and Chazinski are 4-1 with 4 KO’s!!! Goldenberg is 25 years old, and although Chazinski is only 19, Chazinski has actually been training longer than Goldenberg. The truth is, I doubt this this fight will be the dog-fight that many are hoping to see. Chazinski is a better boxer, a better MT specialist, and even though he gives up some wrestling swag, he makes up for it in bjj. Chazinski is “sneaky strong”, he has more experience, and he has the advantage in the stand-up or knotted up on the mat. And the curve-ball…Goldenberg’s hyped up record, are wins via QFC contests. Whoever wins this, will come out with a solid reputation as a KO artist and have some credit towards being featured in a “Fight Night Main Event” or making an appearance as a strong under-card for a SuperFight. I’m going with Chazinski in this fight based on his experience, the fact that he kicked my fighters ass in embarrassing fashion, and the knowledge that he’s managed by Jimmy Da Jet. Chazinski by KO, or TKO via strikes/punches.

Fight # 5

155 lbs

Ricky Edgar (3-1) v Shane Wellman Junior (5-6)

This is an interesting match-up. Edgar is 3-1, with 3 TKO’s via strikes and cuts that scream “GNP Brawler”. However, Edgar is facing Wellman Junior who is a “barely interesting” 5-6, yet he dwarfs Edgar’s skill set in virtually every aspect of the game? I’m not sure what Edgar’s manager, the rather flamboyant Don King, was thinking when he inked this fight? King could be looking at Wellman Junior’s losses, and the big elephant-sized “4 KO’s”? In any event, this writer thinks it’s gonna be a short night for Ricky Edgar. I see this ending embarrassingly and very ugly for Edgar via strikes or punches. Ego can only get you so far…

Fight # 6

170 lbs

George Brown (5-2) v Colt Plum (2-4)

George Brown is 5-2, he’s on a 3 fight winning streak, but both of his losses are curiously by KO. Rumor has it that Brown’s camp is having problems with morale, and keeping Brown motivated. Plum is 2-4 and he has also experienced canvas burn twice. However, this may be the perfect storm for Plum. Plum has an over-whelming advantage in the stand-up via his natural boxing ability. With Brown’s only losses coming via KO, his lack of motivation, and a fairly equal fight in all other aspects, all Plum has to do is the math, and execute. Plum needs to be aggressive, break Brown’s spirit, take his heart, and make him bleed!!!If Plum can keep this fight standing and moving along, he has a solid chance to end this via KO and pull off an upset. I see this as a possible “Fight of the Night”, KO of the Night” and “Upset of the Night”. It’s Professor Plum, in the cage, with a hard right hook for the KO.

Fight #7

265 lbs

Tommy Mendes ( 0-0) v Ezio Noir (3-2)

All I have to say is “WTF”??? Mendes is a newb at 0-0, fighting a guy that already has 5 fights under his belt? What ass-clown signs that contract? One word, “MENTOR”! Mendes is not only fighting a far more experienced fighter, but he has failed to train properly and he will be lucky to go into this fight at 85% to 90% at best. If that weren’t enough…Noir, who IS experienced, and should by all rights walk out of the cage with one of Mendes limbs as a trophy…hasn’t properly trained either??? He will be lucky to enter the contest at 75% tops, and rumor has it that his morale is down around his ankles like Jerry Sandusky’s practice shorts. Tickle, tickle! Iv’e never seen two fighters go into a fight less prepared, let alone in the same fight? Mendes will take Noir to the ground and outlast him via “f’ing miracle” and he’ll win. This fight will taste like very warm, very bad beer…!

Fight #8

145 lbs

Valeriy Kamyshin (0-0) v (3-1) Mookie Magaba

Kamyshin is a true newb to the sport, he’s carrying some intimidating weaponry via those lunch boxes filled with M80’s. Magaba has some experience, he’s won by decision and lost by decision so he’s got some stamina! With each fighter having almost equal wrestling abilities, Magaba will waste no time taking this fighter to the mat in order to avoid those explosive hands of Kamyshin. Once on the mat, with fairly equal wrestling, it’s just a matter of time before Magaba etas Kamyshin up via bjj and subs him. Bring the melted cheese,it goes great with Kamyshin Pretzel.

Fight #9

145 lbs

Sergey Ismangulov (2-1) v (2-2) Aadilou Ankutse

Ismangulov is “all in”!!! He has to be. Ismangulov is limited to his far superior boxing not only to win this fight, but just to survive and walk out in one piece. Ankutse has the high ground in every other aspect of this fight, and not just by a hair. Ankutse is far superior in MT, wrestling, and bjj. Ismangulov will have to win this fight by KO or not at all, just as he did in his previous 2 wins so we know he has the power and skill to do it. If this fight goes more than 2 minutes, it will be in Ankutse’s favor. My money is on Ankutse as he’s never been KO’d and his losses are by decision which tells me he can probably weather this storm.

Fight# 10

265 lbs

Fedor Rodionov (3-3) v Bruno Miles ( 3-2)

Rodionov is 3-3 against some descent fighters. He matches well with Miles in all aspects of the fight but has a huge advantage when it comes to MT. With 2of 3 wins coming via KO, I look for Rodionov to clinch, keep it standing, and show Miles what a frog in a blender feels like. Miles does not impress me. His 3 wins are all over fighters with losing records. His last loss was to Nikita Olavski by sub in 51 seconds. Olavski is a puncher, not a wrestler or bjj guru. In fact his ground game is weak and he still sub’ed Miles effortlessly. This fight will go to Rodionov, via GNP or KO by MT strikes.

That’s it for INY Fight Night XII, I’m Dean Holliday and I’ll see you at the fights!!!
