Post Fight Press Conference

HERO Fight Night 7 set an event rating record for HERO. It was the best card we have ever put on. A big thanks to all of the fighters on the card for making this night truly exciting. The highlight of course was the heavyweight championship bout between Marcus Brandao and Tobias Larsson. This one was over in a flash. giving us a new heavyweight champion.

Let's take a look at some of the best performances of the night by handing out the "Of the Night" awards:

KO of the Night: Marcus Brandao's straight right sent Larsson crumpling to the mat and put the title belt around Brandao's waist.

Sub of the Night: In a back and forth battle, Bunt locked up a third round triangle to keep this one out of the judges' hands.

Fight of the Night: Marius Matei and Eliod Bunkley engaged in a ground war with plenty of ground and pound from both fighters.

We have some more movement in title pictures because of this event.

Marcus Brandao is the new heavyweight champion with his first round KO win over Tobias Larsson.

Maarten Van Der Moot raised his stock in the featherweight division, possibly getting one fight away from a title shot.

Kong King's victory over Wavy Davy earned him a spot in a bantamweight #1 contenders match with Tommy Tapout.

Sed El Bunt really has himself on the welterweight radar now with his big win over Virgil Morgan.

HERO Warfare 8 Preview

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1360454227Image8%20copy.jpg

How’s it goin people? I’m here to bring you a couple of lines for the next HERO FC event – HERO Warfare 8. We have a fine selection of competitive clashes, guaranteeing a bloodbath and a good time. The headline will feature Artem Bessmetin stepping up for the first time as the welterweight champion to take on Kaheli Sonni in a 5 round struggle. We have a lot more on that card in terms of entertainment tough:

Prelims

Mad Child (4-6-1) v Brian “Scrawny” Tombo (1-5-0)

Bantamweight

There are too many people, claiming the lower weight classes aren’t that exciting, but Mad Child and Brian Tombo will definitely change the minds of one or two haters.

Arttu Attila (3-9-0) v Jake Shields (3-4-0)

Welterweight

Both guys have a lot to do in order to sharpen up their stand up, but they compensate that with great grappling skills that they are hopefuly going to showcase against each other.

Jacky Ler (2-3-0) v Tommi “T-bomb” Talentti (6-5-0)

Featherweight

Both guys are well rounded, but I think Ler is keener to stand and trade with Talentti, while “T-bomb” might wanna take it to the ground and snap an arm or something.

Conor “Monster” Heartr (7-7-0) v Artie Lange (6-6-0)

Bantamweight

The last time those two met, Lange won by submission. This time around Heartr feels more prepared than ever, but will that be enough, remains to be seen.

“The Elbow” Charles Cooper (7-4-0) v Chuck Vogelpohl (5-5-0)

Welterweight

Charles’ gameplan is no secret to anyone, but there are a lot of guys that can’t deal with it. That said, Vogelpohl’s grappling will allow him to negate Cooper’s clinchword, but only if he fights smart ofc.

Main card

Fernando Emerlong (6-3-0) v Nikolai Jegorowitsch Makarow (3-1-0)

Heavyweight

Those two have indentical styles and that is exactly what makes this fight so interesting. They both rely on their boxing to win fights and Emerlong has a good reach advantage so I wonder whether that might be the deciding factor of the fight.

“The Bull” Ian Miles (3-0-0) v Mark Murphy (10-5-0)

Middleweight

Murphy was on a 4 fight win streak before he ran into the champ Christian Olson and will now look to get another W against an exciting and undefeated newcomer – Ian Miles. Miles was really excited about his HERO debut and promised a KO for it so don’t blink when those two square off.

“The Hurricane” Rubin Carter (4-3-0) v “Kuusamon Zorro” Rambo Kalervo Kukkonen (6-2-1)

Middleweight

Carter is undefeated inside the HERO cage but that may soon change because he is facing a serious challenge – Rambo Kalervo Kukkonen. Both guys are incredibly skilled and it is a joy to watch them showcase what a good mixed martial artist should look like. “The Hurricane” prefers to knock out guys while Rambo prefers to make them tap and both are equally good at what they do.

Johan Fredrikson (11-1-0) v Dae Jung Pak (8-5-0)

Welterweight. Co-main event

Fredrikson suffered a crushing and quite unexpected defeat in his HERO debut but there will be no rest for him as he is taking on another member of the org’s finest fighters – Dae Jung Pak. Pak has won his last two fights and will be looking to use that momentum against the former VFN champ. It will be interesting to see what changes did Johan did after his first pro defeat and judging from the talent he possesses I think he’ll be better then ever.

“Kaschey” Artem Bessmertin (6-1-0) v Kaheli Sonni (7-2-0)

Welterweight. Title fight. Main event

Both Artem and Kaheli got out of their last fights with their hands raised up, despite being serious underdogs. After that, the most logical thing happened and the newly crowned champion is going to put everything on the line against the darkhorse of the division. Bessmertin and Sonni are both known as great grapplers but what stands out is the fact that Artem has a phenomenal wrestling that Sonni has to be aware of. I hope he has done a lot of work off his back, because if Bessmertin wants him down, he will get him down. Both guys are explosive and have serious submission offence in their arsenal so coming into this fight both guys have their chances to leave with the belt.

Post Fight Press Conference

We had another fantastic night of action here in HERO. Tonight we were live in Helsinki for HERO Warfare 8. The headlining bout was a welterweight title fight between Artem Bessmertin and Kaheli Sonni. Bessmertin showed tremendous striking defense en route to a title defense. Dae Jung Pak shocked Johan Fredrikson in our co-main event. Fredrikson continues to struggle in HERO, but he definitely has the skills and the resume to rebound.

Let's take a look at some of the best performances of the night by handing out the "Of the Night" awards:

KO of the Night: Fernando Emerlong cracked Makarow with a killer head kick and followed it up with a few punches to secure a vicious KO.

Fight of the Night: Dae Jung Pak and Johan Fredrikson both displayed great striking defense in a fight that was up for grabs until Pak took it out of the hands of the judges with a KO win.

HERO Fight Night 8

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1360784139black+wallpaper+yhj.jpg

Greetings. I am once again trying to free myself of the burden of humanity known as hangover. Don’t worry, I’m a tough bastard and it won’t stop me to give you a couple of lines for the next HERO FC event – HERO Fight Night 8. We have incredible match ups and a culmination including a scrap for the middleweight belt. The champion Olson takes on the hall of famer Eddie Torrez in a fight that will finally settle the score between those two and will determine who will leave a champion. Besides that we have 9 more fights that will surely entertain:

Prelims

Dave Iverson (3-9-0) v “Dimebag” Taisto Rahapussi (4-4-0)

Middleweight

We kick off the night with a middleweight bout between Dave Iverson and Taisto Rahapussi who will try to get their first win from a while.

“The Beast” Ieuan Williams (5-8-0) v Warmonger Sion (4-6-0)

Heavyweight

Williams is probably more well rounded, but Sion has a clear path to victory and if he is able to follow it, Ieuan Is in for sime trouble.

Grover “Joe Millionare” Dowiyogo (7-4-0) v Jaarko Hahlund (7-8-0)

Light heavyweight

Grover is a master of the clinch game and he will try to show that against the veteran of 14 fights inside the HERO cage Jaarko Hahlund who is a confident striker as well.

“God of Death” Ah Puch Nacon (2-0-0) v Randy West (5-5-0)

Lightweight

Talanted grappler Nacon takes on the solid striker and more experienced fighter that is Randy West. Nacon is real trouble on the ground but we are yet to see a successful takedown from him and if he won’t do it tonight, West will give him a hard time, cuz I doubt he’ll be willing to initate the grappling.

Desmond “Dandy Des” Harrington (6-1-0) v Tarmo Uusivirta (2-0-0)

Featherweight

Harrington is a grinder and knows how to break his opponents’ will, but he has to watch out cuz Tarmo knows how to break his jaw for sure with his crisp boxing technique. People say wrestling is the best base for MMA, let’s see what the boxer thinks about that.

Main Card

Hazuka “Katana” Oyama (8-6-0) v Dougie “Anderson” Silva (3-0-0)

Middleweight

The main card will start with an entertaining fight featuring two great strikers. Dougie Silva looks like the next big thing and his head kicks are worth mentioning for sure, but he will face off against the more experienced Hazuka Oyama, who is without a doubt the toughest challenge in his young career.

Hakuma “Samurai” Hariyuoki (5-3-0) v Gustav “The Machine” Tedvik

Light heavyweight

Tedvik gave two very tough fights to the champion Aleksi Vihtala, but it wasn’t enough. After those two defeats, it looks like he won’t be getting a title shot again soon, but he is on of the best light heavyweight out there. His next opponent is the hard hitting “Samurai” Hariyuoki. To be frank, I don’t think he can stop Tedvik from taking him down but in case he does, he has a serious chance to get the KO.

“The Raging Cockstorm” Johnny Fantastic (3-1-0) v “The Triangler” Thunder Jackson (11-3-0)

Welterweight

Fantastic has all he needs in order to be successful – good takedown defence and knockout power and his opponent tonight – Thunder Jackson will put the first one to the test because he possesses slick grappling skills and to be honest I don’t think he wants to be victimized by the second characteristic “The Raging Cockstorm” has.

Kirk Gracie (10-4-0) v Ollilan Jorma (7-3-0)

Welterweight. Co-main event.

Kirk Gracie relies only on his grappling to win fights and that sure does the trick. His game plan must be to get the fight to the ground by any means in any position because if Jorma is able to stuff those takedowns and puts his Muay Thai to use, the only ground game Kirk Gracie will see is going to be his motionless body hitting the deck. In any case, a potential victory for any of those two will get them really close to the top of the division and with one or two more solid performances they might make it to a title shot.

Christian “Osmosis” Olson (11-1-0) v Eddie “Rhino” Torrez (11-3-0)

Middleweight. Title Fight! Main event.

This will be it! The moment all scores are going to be settled is pretty damn close. Olson and Torrez are going all out for the third time. The result is equal – 1 for “Osmosis”, 1 for “Rhino”. Those two know each other perfectly so it will be interesting who has made those necessary changes in his game in order to get the victory. I’m sure they both want to win convincingly and will throw all caution out the window so will be in for some fireworks. That rubber match was meant to happen – Olson and Torrez are the best guys in the division and surely are the most worthy to compete for the belt. There is no secret in what those two would want to do – Christian would want to get the top position and punish his opponent, while Eddie will be looking for the KO standing. Who will be able to force the other play a game he doesn’t want to, remains to be seen.

Post Fight Press Conference

HERO fight fans were really looking forward to this one. HERO Fight Night 8 featured the trilogy fight between middleweights superstars Christian Olson and Eddie Torrez. These two guys were knotted up at one win apiece with all three bouts being contested for the strap. Eddie Torrez put on a dominant performance in this one, reclaiming the gold. Underdogs Jorma and Fantastic both beat higher hyped opponents, turning the welterweight division into a wide open free for all.

Let's take a look at some of the best performances of the night by handing out the "Of the Night" awards:

We have some more movement in title pictures because of this event.

Eddie Torrez is once again the middleweight champion.

HERO Warfare 9 Preview

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1360783572Image0%20copy.jpg

What’s up? I know you’re all waiting for the next HERO FC event – HERO Warfare 9. To be honest, I’m loosing sleep because of this fight card. There will be tons of great action and we will see the greatest fighter that competed in the HERO cage, Aleksi Vihtala get back to work against a very promising new comer – Mitsuomi Sakata. This is a fine headline for a card filled with some of the best fighters in the business. For the delight of those, lucky enough to have a seat in the Kamppi Arena, they will see the return of the Hall of Famer Manny Pacquiao.

Prelims

Lewis “Lights Out” Lee (1-1-0) v “The Demon Child” Natalie Renee (3-3-0)

Lightweight

Lee and Renee are both really dynamic strikers who, I’m sure we will hear a lot from in the future. Don’t blink on this one, because this will most likely end up with someone laid out unconscious on the mat.

Greg “Ollie” Oliver (2-1-0) v “The Prodigy” Thiraphon Jr Phuttaraksa (6-10-0)

Bantamweight

“The Prodigy” and Oliver have purple belts in BJJ and are really confident in their grappling abilities. Greg is young and hungry, while Thiraphon is the more experienced of the two. Let’s see what would play out to be more important.

“Kruel” Kale Kummola (4-0-0) v Zander “Fury” Murie (0-1-0)

Lightweight

Kale Kummola will soon make it to the main card if he continues to string wins, but he has to get past Zander Murie, who is really motivated to get his first pro win and show what he is really capable of.

Artie Lange (7-6-0) v Brian “Scrawny” Tombo (2-5-0)

Bantamweight

Lange is a lot more experienced then his opponent and has been in a lot of wars throughout his career. His opponent tonight, Brian Tombo, can be a threat to anyone who decides to stand with him, because he possesses some solid boxing skills, but Lange is a confident grappler, who knows how to take a guy down and tap him out.

“bk” Bk bk (8-2-0) v Manny Pacquiao (10-3-0)

Bantamweight

The bantamweight division has evolved a lot since Pacquiao was in charge, so he might be surprised how good the new guys are. Bk bk is undefeated in his last 6 and he is ranked higher in BJJ than Pacquiao with 1 belt level, so the Hall of Famer won’t be having a fun welcoming for sure.

Main Card

Vasara Hai (8-3-0) v “Slam Man” Abdul Mohammed (6-1-1)

Lightweight

Vasra Hai has picked up a lot of momentum after his TKO stoppage just 4 seconds before the final bell against Jorge Grugel, but ”Slam Man” is very good in breaking his opponents’ will and his wrestling will definitely come in handy. Hai has a very good submission offence, so if Mohammed decides to go to the ground with him, he should be extra careful.

Jyrki Jyytti (8-3-0) v Guy “Skull Pirate” McKain (3-1-0)

Heavyweight

Guy McKain had a really tough debut in HERO FC, in which he proved he can hang with the division’s best despite losing in the second round. He is taking on another promising new comer Jyrki Jyytti, who is very well rounded and has never been the distance.

Alan Fei Hong (8-4-0) v Pyry Perkele (8-3-0)

Heavyweight

Pyry Perkele is really setting the heavyweight division on fire winning 6 of his last 7 fights. His next opponent, Alan Fei Hong, is a test that will show us where he is at. Hong, a former champion, has won his last two outings as well and will look to use Pyry’s hype in order to raise his stock with a dominant victory tonight.

Jango Fett (8-1-0) v Georgi “Sasha Belov” Todorov (10-4-0)

Lightweight. Co main event

Jango Fett and Georgi Todorov have very similar styles and skill sets. Many people think this fight will be a symbolic passing of the torch, as the veteran Todorov will make way for the next generation and will be victimized by Fett’s athleticism. I think that Georgi is not ready to leave the spotlight just yey and he will do everything in his power to show the youngster that he has a lot more to learn, before he can mess with him. The winner of this fight might be next in line for a shot at the title so that will be an extra motivation for the two.

Aleksi “Kaarlon Toinen Veli” Vihtala (13-0-0) v Mitsuomi Sakata (4-0-0)

Light heavyweight. Title fight. Main event.

Aleksi Vihtala has cleared the division a long time ago… in fact, he did it twice, so it was inevitable that there will be some new comers that will come to the org in order to challenge the Hall of Famer. Mitsuomi Sakata is relatively unknown to the fight fans in Helsinki, but he is one tough S.O.B. He is a sensational striker, who has never tasted defeat and has finished all of his opponents in about 5 minutes in total. I think that he would’ve done better if he took one fight before going for the title, as he has 3 times less fights then Vihtala and the more time he gets, the better for him. That said, Aleksi can’t allow himself to look past Sakata as he is capable to give him a really tough time in the cage and who knows, he might be able to shock the world.

Post Fight Press Conference

HERO Warfare 9 saw the biggest legend in HERO history, Aleksi Vihtala back at it again. Newcomer Mitsuomi Sakata was one of his most skilled challengers yet, but he swatted aside the previously undefeated striker, just like all the others. Another legend, fellow Hall of Famer Manny Pacquiao, looked in top form, pulling off a submission win in his return to HERO. Jango Fett continued to show why he is one of the best young guns in the sport by eking out a decision over former lightweight champion Georgi Todorov. Pyry Perkele also took out a former champion, showing that there is a new generation of heavyweights beating their way to the top of the division.

Let's take a look at some of the best performances of the night by handing out the "Of the Night" awards:

KO of the Night: Guy McKain only needed three shots on the ground to finish off previous top fiver Jyrki Jyytti.

Sub of the Night: Thiraphon Jr Phuttharaksa demonstrated outstanding BJJ with a first round kneebar finish of Greg OIiver.

Fight of the Night: Despite Perkele's high work rate in the standup game, Hong showed great heart to make it to the final bell.

Here is how tonight's action affected the title pictures:

Aleksi VIhtala is still the light heavyweight champion. Management will be searching for a deserving superfight opponent for him.

Jango Fett has positioned himself for a lightweight title shot, but has opted to rest a bit. That leaves the door open for another deserving fighter.

Pyry Perkele and Guy McKain both moved themselves into the heavyweight top five with impressive victories.

Manny Pacquiao announced to the world that he is back and ready to start charging up the bantamweight ladder.

Daniel Bryan

HERO 49: Brandao vs Ferreira is going to be a great event. Trouble Some (180636) vs. "The American Dragon" Daniel Bryan (186970) has another FOTN award written all over it. Daniel feels as though he's made enough adjustments to soundly take home the W.

*When asked about his upcoming fight with HERO FC champ and all-around cool guy Marcus Brandao, AC Ferreira had the following to say*

AC: "Who's that again?"

Marcus "Animal" Brandao: You wont remember your OWN name after I knock you out in under a minute and the doctor asks what it is. Dont worry the fans will be the ones to remind you who you are fighting because they will be chanting my name all night long.

HERO 4:20 REVIEW!

http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1366060396hero420.jpg

WELCOME everybody to our HERO FC Review! Saturday Night we witnessed the belt change hands as Avon Barksdale became our NEW Welterweight Champion! It took Avon just over 2 rounds to put Kaheli Sonni away in what was a back & forth battle! A beautiful display of mixed martial arts by both men!

In the opening round, Sonni opened up with kicks which may have not been the best idea allowing Barksdale to score an early takedown! From there He worked diligently for positioning and submission but Kaheli proved to be a slippery customer! Kaheli’s grittiness stole him the first round. Kaheli opened up the 2nd round with more kicks but Barksdale was more determined than ever to take that title! He baited Sonni with the ankle lock & allowed him to get on top. Once he was able to get control, he snuck in a nice triangle choke & forced Kaheli Sonni to tap. Beautiful display of BJJ by Avon Barksdale using intelligence with skill to get him the victory!

Also on the card, our co-main event featured a battle of wrestlers as rising star, Artem Bessmertin took on Sed El Bunt! Artem was quick to get off & land a takedown! He took control landing punch after punch onto his grounded opponent! Sed El Bunt after a bit of a struggle was able to reverse position & get a few minutes of success doing his own damage with the GnP.By the end of the round, Artem found himself back on top barely edging out the round on the scorecards. In the 2nd stanza, it was more of the same except Artem showed his superior control and wrestling, not allowing El Bunt to gain the upper hand. During the final round, surprisingly it turned into a kickboxing match with El Bunt landing numerous kicks. Sed took the last round but it was too little, too late as Artem was granted the UD by the judges. It was not an overly impressive win but Artem got the job done doing what he does best & moving him one step closer to a potential title shot!

Next up, welterweights Rauta Naama & Dae Jung Pak went to work where we saw Rauta Naama finish with a beautiful triangle choke earning him submission of the night! Rauta came storming out swinging hard but it was Pak’s 1st shot that opened up a tasty cut above the eye of Naama. Sensing trouble, Naama quickly took the fight to the ground where he knew Pak was weak. Pak surprised many by immediately sweeping his opponent & gaining top control. His only focus at that point was to ward off submissions and get back to his feet but Rauta was not allowing it. After a few submission attempts the skill and experience disparity soon became apparent as Rauta Naama synched up a triangle-turned-armbar & nearly snaps Pak’s arm off! This man has SKILLS!

Post fight interview:

Reporter: Gongratulations, what a comeback! You must be feel good to pull out a comeback win against

Georgi Todorov. You guys had big verbal wars in the past, was it real or just a way to sell tickets?

Jonas Putin: Do you remember the statements that

Georgi Todorov made when he came to our division? He said that fighters at 155lbs aren't qualified to make him a sandwich, told how sexy beast he is and how he will become the champion soon. He came, went 1-4 and got retired by me... Or i hope he retired, brain damages aren't fun. This is good reminder that arrogancy can make you look pretty stupid. I know that its not cool to talk smack after the fight, but this guy deserves it.

Reporter: So whats next for you... Jonas...? ...He left? Well that was short one.

Welcome everyone to HERO May Day Mayhem: The Review! Let’s recap what went on May 1st as Middleweight Champion Rambo Kalervo Kukkonen defended his title against James Sunderland! Also Bantamweight superstar, Kid Funkyama went toe-to-toe with rising star Joonas Mustonen in what was a fantastic display of mixed-martial arts! We’re bringing the action to you RIGHT NOW!

“Kuusamon Zorro” Rambo Kalervo Kukkonen (10-2-1) vs. “Abyss Walker” James Sunderland (10-1)

In our main event of the evening, undisputed middleweight champion, Rambo was put to the test once again when he battled against undefeated 10-0, James Sunderland! The first round provided plenty of action as Rambo landed a quick takedown in the first few seconds controlling position & landing short punches/elbows. James struggled to get back to his feet but kept his composure. On the feet, it seemed James had trouble finding his range amidst the unpredictable striking & grappling he had to deal with. The 1st round goes to the champ! In the second, James continued with his kicking attack despite being taken down numerous times because of it. His game plan was failing as he was continually getting shut down by Rambo. Eventually, the pressure would be too much for James & he would fold just before the bell. Excellent game planning by the champion & a nice showcase of skills to boot!

Kid Funkyama (12-3) vs. “Jose” Joonas Mustonen (12-7)

We drop down 50lbs to the bantamweight division as top contenders; Kid Funkyama & Joonas Mustonen took to the cage for their fight! As the fight went underway, both fighters tried to establish their range with the boxing. Funkyama quickly tied up his opponent & looked to control while landing shots. Mustonen countered by getting a takedown but made a critical error going for the ineffective leglock. Kid Funkyama easily reversed the position & gained top position where he spent the remainder of the round working his GnP & positioning. The 2nd round started off the same as the 1st except this time, Kid was able to keep control of the clinch to wear out his opponent & eventually land that picture-perfect uppercut to the jaw & finish by TKO. Great matchmaking done by AJ!

Wai Man Li (13-5) vs. Funny Jobber (10-6)

Finally, we take a look at some action in our lightweight division as the Asian, Wai Man Li took on Funny Jobber. Li was quick to take Jobber down & keep control. H held him tight & landed small shots until he could find openings to pass. It’s unusual to see a brown belt control a black belt you also have to remember Wai Man has exceptional wrestling which came into play here. Jobber just had a hard time controlling the pace on the ground. Perhaps we should question where he got his Black Belt? Anyhow, Li was able to control throughout until he was able to force a stoppage due to strikes near the end of the round. Fantastic showing by Wai Man Li! We’ll see what the future holds for this bright young star!

UNDERCARD RESULTS!

Vasara Hai Def Randy West via TKO Rnd 2

Jonas Putin Def. Goergi Todorov via TKO Rnd 3

Pyry Perkele Def. Faustino Barrientos via DEC

Jacky Ler Def. Toast Man via TKO Rnd 2

Dougie Silva Def. Dave Iverson via KO Rnd 1

What an amazing event it was, folks! Only 1 fight went to decision! That’s what I call a successful event! It was certainly Mayhem on that card! Look out for our next event review for Fight Night 14 & don’t forget to pick up your tickets. I expect this one to sell out in a heartbeat!

Jonas Putin, you think you are big and bad simply because you've never been finished. Well, that is about to come to an end. When you step into the cage with me on June 23, it is going to be tap, nap, or snap.

When i started my career, Wai Man Li was the man, champion. I am mature enough to realize, that he is huge threat on the ground, but unlike in the past, know i know how to deal with blankets, and if there is someone who is tapping on the ground, it's Wai Man Li. I know i won't submit him, but if he can take me down (which i doubt), i will sweep him, mount him and pound him until he taps out like he did against Aoki. I am not that good with words, so i will demonstrate with pictures how bad Wai Man Li will look after our fight:

"God Of Death" Ah Puch Nacon (197338)

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/41/41b7.jpg

I had a vision... The moment is right and the gods want it - with their divine strength, I will be unstopable. I will show my enemies what torment means. There will be utter anihiliation for everyone who stands against me, starting from Randy West. After I am done with him, I will feed the dogs with his eviscerated body and move on to cause havoc in the lightweight division. I hope more of you miserable wretches think you have what it takes to stay in my eyesight... I am going to PROVE you that this will be your biggest mistake.

I just got off the phone with Jack Miller's mother. She's accepting donations for his upcoming funeral and burial. I may even donate half of Artie Lange's fight winnings.

Steve: Hello ladies and gentlemans, I'm in Tokyo's gym - Dojo, with Garrett Bukovsky who is one of the HERO's welterweight fighters. Garrett, would you be so kind to tell us something about yourself?

Garrett: I'm Garrett Bukovsky, called "Lil B". I'm 8-7 in MMA and as Steve mentioned I'm fighting for HERO. But I'm disappointed of the org.

Steve: Can you tell us why?

Garrett: I have been in the org for long time. Former owners were better than Bishop Rome who is ignoring mails from my manager. I'm also really disappointed because HERO have no contact with press nor fighters. After fullfilling my contract I want to leave the org, because I don't want to waste my time. I have been thinking about moving to another org, my manager told me that he had been looking for a new place for me and there is a few in which I would suit.

Steve: Any chance that you'll tell us?

Garrett: I'm not going to make any secret. My manager contacted with NGF's managment about potential contract and I received green light from them.

Steve: Well, that is your decision. Most of the fans don't know you, could you say something more about yourself?

Garrett: Sure Steve, that's no problem for me, I want to be more known for the community. I started boxing at age 8, I had some success in amatour. Until age 22 I was training in public gyms, but then my manager had joined to Cold Blooded Killers. I moved to closed training facilities in which I developed. At age 23 I moved to Tokyo and now I had been training in mentioned Dojo. But leaving training aspect, I was on hard lossing streak. I hadn't won a fight for almost two years! That time I lost four fights... It was hard times, I wanted to give up, but my manager encouraged me to give another try. It paid off. I'm working hard in the gym and I'm looking forward to become a champ someday. I'm feeling young again, training in small gym is better than in crowded one, haha.

Steve: We wish you good luck in that. But what's your plans for the near future?

Garrett: Training. Also I want to change enviroment since HERO is no more friendly for me. Plus St. Petersbourgh is closer to Tokyo than Helsinki and I wouldn't have to spend so much time in travel.

Steve: Your ground game isn't the best, you lost to Orpo Jokinen via kimura.

Garrett: Don't judge me by this fight. Orpo is a beast! He had been training in small gym since he started fighting. Also that guy has bright future! I'm looking at my with good hopes too, but I'm not sure if I will achieve the top. I talked with Bragi and he told me that I can always become a coach in his gym. It's great proposition because in his gym there is lots of prospects and I always wanted to be a coach. Already I'm doing regular sparings with young guns and looking at their develop is motivating for me. I used to make a punching bags by most of them and now they're becoming dangerous!

Steve: Aren't you too young to thinking about retiring, aren't you?

Garrett: It's always nice to thing about perpectives. Well, my aren't bright in HERO...

Steve: Don't worry! Everything will change soon. I want to thank you for the interview and wish you best! That was Garrett Bukovsky!
