Guest
Can anyone give me advice on how to make a guard specialist and the best way to set my sliders to encourage my fighter to pull guard? Thanks ahead of time
bruslimma666
Just give him max on BJJ and rest on Wrestling. You need good clinchwork, strike defense, submissions+transitions+defensive grappling. Set him: In clinch 75% agression, go to ground 25-50%, pull guard as much as you think is good, for me its like 80-90% because when you set it on 100% you are very predictable On the ground stick to position guard bottom, on top control+gnp+advance position, on bottom finish+sub+strikesub You have to be in clinch as often as you can so try to clinch on 25%, set also the standup setting to counter 90-95%, and counter-grapple + counter-clinch
jls.monster
I think the above post is a bit broad- it would be OBVIOUS the amount of aggression/control in the clinch would/should depend on how aggressive/control the opponent is. My advice, study your opponent and see if hes active in the clinch- if he is then study his opponents, you should be able to come to a conclusion on their sliders with such actions and be able to set yours accordingly. for example, sticking to a set "60-75% aggression" and never controlling or altering it then someone will catch on, and will have high enough strength to successfully control you, and then your wrecked.
