markyosullivan
I'm not a fan of orgs not having any posters because it looks pretty terrible. http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/eventposter.jpg What I would like to see is a replacement which is automatically generated for those organisations who do not have anyone to do posters for them. For example, have the organisation banner / logo at the bottom of the poster and then the title of the event in the middle. You could have a range of options for the text as sometimes the titles can be very long, so there should be an option to customise the poster text so it just has the initials of the org along with the event number. If this is not possible to do, I think I would just rather see the organisation logo for the poster.
Rain
Yea man but it's a lot of time and effort to make a decent one and it's still usually not appreciated enough...
Wolf
Posters give a slight bonus to the event rating i think which means more sales etc. So having an automated generic poster takes away from those who make time to create them or hire poster makers for their org. GBK16
Have to agree with Wolf here. Sure, change the image if you don't have a picture to the orgs logo, but don't give them bonuses that orgs who have posters get.

Yeah guys, I agree with you about the bonus for posters. If the orgs just have a generic poster which is done automatically after they create an event, they shouldn't have a bonus from it.
Sohito
really? come on, i know that my Org didn't have posters for long time also, but this is really something what doesn't need much from us. this is me when I try to draw something http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/uu237/huntersmom2009/DSCN1511.jpg yeah, and i never succeed. but! 5 minutes in MS Word + Paint, where MS Word is optional... http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1433543574poster.jpg yeah, it still sucks and looks like poster only when You twist Your head aside. but it was 5mins and I didn't have to pay anyone. AND... I have a poster if someone doesn't have a poster, problem is not that he can't afford to pay someone to do it for him.
Skap
Sorry but I have to agree with Mark... Id like to see a default poster with the orgs logo. and maybe an auto date on it. but I also agree with the others there is no reason while using the default poster there should be any boost in sales... In short a alternative to no poster should be available.
Warpig
Perhaps an option for org owners to upload one default poster that automatically goes on every event unless they manually change an individual event
