Great review, even tough it was a pretty bad event for me... both my fighters lost :-(

But I still got something to look forward with my fighter "BFG" Ole Fred Ray headlining Rehab 9 ...now THAT`S what I call a debut!

Marc "Le Marteau" Charbonnier

"Hey, Matthew Jenkins, you better rest up until fight time. I know you're probably scared and trying to get in some extra gym time, but if you come in overweight or sloppy, I'm going to make sure you never fight again. You need to be at your best to even survive the first round, kid.

In regards to the tourney, do we really need one at 205? I think we all know who that champ is and will be."

Rehab Fighting Championship

http://i1016.photobucket.com/albums/af281/Keith_Leatherwood/RFCLogo_zpsb2m4hili.png

RFC Opened September 18th, 2015. This organization is open to all 280k+ fighters.

This is the official thread for RFC.

http://mmatycoon.com/images/posters/1448078156rfc.png

Rehab 10: Wakahisa Vs Cortez Preview

Rehab 10: Wakahisa Vs Cortez will undoubtedly be the biggest and most hyped RFC Event to date. This fight card is packed with some of the top talent Rehab has to offer. The irony is a bit hilarious, given RFC is kicking off the Chase to the Belt tournaments next week. Winners and Losers in this event will absolutely be affected, some making it into the top 8 and some dropping out of the tournament all together. Expect high flying, extreme 280k talent on showcase.

UNDER CARD

Fight 1: Hall Vs Howard

Starting off the night is a fight with two more experienced RFC fighters. Both Hall and Howard have lost both of their Rehab fights. With the last fight on their contract approaching, some wonder if they will return to RFC after their fight, or retire with no wins in professional organizations. Either way, one of these two will drop to 0-3 in Rehab, and the other will grab their first win in the org. Danny Hall, Is an extremely strong MT fighter. Howard, is more well rounded and has respectable hands. Look for the gameplan of each fighter to have a huge role in who wins this one.

Prediction: Hall (T)KO: 1:53 3rd Round

Fight 2: Rose Vs Campobello

Next up, opponents who have not a single win on either record. Rose, who is 0-2 lost his only RFC bout to Nelson in Rehab 5. Compobello has his debut on a stacked card. With all these spectators, a debut is huge for him to turn some heads and make a bid at the Belt Tournament. Both fighters are pretty well rounded. Its hard to say what game plan they will have coming into this fight. You should bet the winner of this fight will move up in the card for their next outing.

Prediction: Campobello: Split Decision

Fight 3: Johnson Vs Palmer

Fight 3, talked about as an extreme mismatch. Some even say this fight gives a bid to be a Main Card fight. RFC hasn't seen enough on a professional level to make that happen. Johnson the Albino, took a fight against someone 6 years his elder, and 5 wins his superior. At 19, Johnson has been regarded as one of the best young fighters in RFC. With high wrestling, he matches well with Palmer. Troy Palmer, winner of QFC Tournament, and added another QFC win after that, has a 5-0 record but is making his RFC Debut. Expect to see more of this fighter in the Road to the Belt Tournament in December, because regardless of tonight's outcome, he will be there. Expect a wrestling match with fists flying, elbows landing and bodies being thrown. Note, Johnson has the edge in the BJJ department. So it could be of no surprise if Johnson goes for the submission.

Prediction: Palmer: T(KO) 4:38 2nd Round

Fight 4: Janicki Vs Ryder

Janicki and Ryder are both fairly unproven in their professional careers. Both fighters would love to make a name for themselves, and to get a fight on Rehab 10 is the perfect showcase for spectators to see their abilities. The young fighters in their own, hold just 3 fights in their careers combined. That is... that they are both 18 and are some of the youngest talent in the RFC. Another note, they both have about the same ability in every part of their game, dominating the wrestling department is what they specialize in. Going to be a close fight.

Prediction: Janicki: Unanimous Decision

Fight 5: Carrera Vs Suarez

Another age differentiated fight. Carrera accepted a fight with someone 7 years older. Thing to know here is that they both have even stand up abilities. The word on the street is that Carrera isn't afraid of his opponents superior age and training knowledge. He thinks he can meet him toe to toe and knock him out. This fight will most certainly be a SLUG FEST!!! Expect a lot of punches thrown and someone is going to hit the mat, out... cold.

Prediction: UPSET Alert: Carrera: KO 2:38 1st Round

Fight 6: Armstrong Vs Jeffries

To wrap up the under card. Armstrong and Jeffries is a cherry on top. Age difference is a mere 3 years. Where Armstrong lacks in age, he gains in experience. Fighting in 2 RFC bouts, sitting at 1-1 he looks to move his rank to the top 8. Jeffries, 2-0 has yet to fight in the RFC. A debut win for him would turn some heads in his division. Both fighters are strong in the stand up game. Expect more hard hits and a KO to finish the Undercard.

Prediction: Armstrong: KO 4:21 3rd Round

MAIN CARD

Fight 7: Bates Vs Pereira

Bates at 6-1 has won both of his fights in the RFC. Pereira, also a winner in his RFC Debut, hold a slight advantage in experience. Nobody has ever gotten out of the first round against the big man Pereira. Bates, coming in hot, will more then likely end that streak. Pereira has shown himself in just one fight. Bates, who's been training and fighting with Rehab since the beginning, wont be an easy opponent for Pereira. This fight is a fight of the night candidate for sure.

Prediction: Pereira: Submission 3:53 3rd Round

Fight 8: Charbonnier Vs Jenkins

The next bout has Bad Boy Charbonnier taking on Jenkins. Char, 2-0 has fought exclusively in the RFC. Handling his opponents in Rehab 1 and Rehab 4. He has stirred up a lot of trash on Buzz and for the right reasons.. he backs up his talk. Jenkins, 4-0 is making his debut in the RFC. It wont matter, as it looks, These 23 year old warriors will wage war, winner... making it into the RFC Road for the Belt Tournament.

Prediction: Charbonnier: T(KO) 2:32 2nd Round

Co-Main Event:

Magomedov Vs Glass

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14465785026863.pngVShttp://mmatycoon.com/gallery/9/9w11.jpg

The Co-Main event has a lot of buzz surrounding it. A lot of people talk about how unproven these two fighters are. RFC fanatics think a lot of the proven Rehab fighters deserve this spot in the card. That aside, both fighters have an extreme hype backing by fans flocking in from everywhere to watch this card. Expect a battle to go the distance, but only one can win their Debut in the RFC. Magomedov has 4 wins in the QFC, proving he can scrap and win when he enters the octagon. Glass, making his debut not only in RFC, but also in his professional career as a whole.

Prediction: Magomedov: Unanimous Decision

Main Event:

Wakahisa Vs Cortez

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/31/31w2.jpgVShttp://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14460461356385.jpg

Without a doubt the biggest fight to ever land in an RFC Card. A combined record of 10-0. Both fighters stand undefeated in their QFC fights. Wakahisa, winning 4 fights by T(KO) and one decision, brutalizes his opponents with his MT. Landing knees, elbows, fists.. he shows absolutely no mercy in the cage. Cortez, 5-0 with 4 KO's and one T(KO) all coming before 2 minutes every hit the clock. 5 wins in the first round, 2 KO's in 9 seconds. One KO in 11 seconds. He finishes his opponents quick. The difficult of this fight will be much higher for both of these fighters, neither of them fighting someone in the QFC who even matches the skill of the opponent by anything close. Fight of the Night, KO of the night, Fight of the year... RFC has been waiting for a fight like this. Expect an extremely entertaining Main Event.

Prediction: Cortez: KO 2:31 2nd Round

Subject : Re: Reviews

We appreciate you writing the reviews. This is a huge reason why I have my fighters in the org. They're really good.

Fellas, thank you for all your comments about the writing, its really appreciated. We have a new writer on board who will be taking care of the pre/reviews from now on. It means they will be posted a lot quicker than I can get them out. the quality wont suffer as this guy is an excellent writer, it frees me up to do other things like editorials, Q&As and fighter/manager interviews. Ill be in touch with a lot of you pretty soon to do some fighter/manager interviews etc. I submit my write ups to the Tycoon Times and if published, the articles gain hype for whoever they are about so you or your fighters will benefit from taking part in them.

Thanks again

Kris
