"Who paid the judges!? How could they score h'ound 3 10-9 for Bruce Tripplet or even 10-10!? I dominated that fight - he knows it was not a draw! The judges no hespect the Gracie Jiu Jitsu! Next time he won't be lucky: you don't want to h'oll with H'ollo!"

HFC 49: Pulkkinen vs. Shlemenko

July 23rd, 2016

Frank Martin tried, and Frank Martin failed to take the belt from Voya Klimov. Next up, Alexander Shlemenko, though only a one fight veteran of the HFC, will try to take the light heavyweight belt.

Standing in his way, however, is Pulkkinen – the two time defending champion. Grabbing the belt in only his fourth fight, will Pulkkinen be able to handle his most difficult defense yet, or will we have a new champion here tonight?

Let’s take a look at the fights that are going down that night.

Undercard Bouts

Light Heavyweight: “Talented Mr.” Heinrich Meinkoff (#10/3985) (3-0-0)(1-0-0 HFC) vs. Berry “The Rock See” Bluthurty (#13/4418) (5-3-0)(3-3-0 HFC)

Prediction: Meinkoff - TKO

Welterweight: Mark “The Demoralizer” Brooks (#13/5003) (4-1-0)(1-1-0 HFC) vs. Veke “Freakin’ Animal”Purha (#8/4012)(6-3-0)(HFC Debut)

Prediction: Purha - Submission

Featherweight: Paddy Kubiak (#21/6301)(8-4-0)(4-1-0 HFC) vs. Sebastian “Squirrel” Rynkowski (#14/4739)(5-5-0)(0-1-0 HFC)

Prediction: Rynkowski - Decision

Light Heavyweight: Stannis Baratheon (#12/2735)(5-2-0)(4-1-0 HFC) vs. David “The Thin White Duke” Jones (#22/5793)(5-1-0) (HFC Debut)
Prediction: Baratheon - TKO

Middleweight: Oleg “Black Tiger” Nemkov (#8/2593)(11-7-0)(7-6-0 HFC) vs. Piet “Baksteen” Kriel (#9/3419)(10-6-0)(7-5-0 HFC)

Prediction: Nemkov - TKO

Main Card

Superheavyweight Bout: Fionn “Celtic Legend” MacCumhaill (#3/2494)(11-3-0)(1-2-0 HFC) vs. Evandro “Servidor Publico” Guedes (#5/2313)(6-1-0)(6-1-0 HFC)

Two of the toughest fighters that are weighing in at over 265+ pounds face off in this fight, MacCumhail recently having been defeated by the champ in his own title bout, and Evandro having defeated title contender Donald Trump. Both fighters prefer to keep the fight on their feet, but Guedes maintains a slight advantage in all areas. Will the “Celtic Legend” start a new winning streak, or will his title shot have been his last chance at glory?

Prediction: Guedes - TKO

Middleweight Bout: Rashid “Gorets” Magomedov (#2/1263)(10-4-0)(1-1-0 HFC) vs. Sonny “Stacks” Bradford (#4/1596)(12-8-0)(1-0-0 HFC)

Two extraordinarily talented fighters here, Magomedov – the closest man for a shot at middleweight champion Voya Klimov’s belt, and Bradford, the newcomer to the HFC who took down the HOFer Nemkov in only two rounds. Both fighters are skilled on both their feet and on the ground, so no matter where the fight goes, it should be close.

Will Rashid put down the upstart, or will “Stacks” ascend the ladder and get closer to a title bout?

Prediction: Magomedov - TKO

Co-Main Event

Featherweight Bout: Max “The Street Fighter” Tauer (#7/3725)(7-4-0)(HFC Debut) vs. Leon Will “Pee on U” Westernfield (#8/3990)(8-3-0)(4-3-0 HFC)

Two fighters in the contested featherweight division, with Tauer being new to the HFC scene.

Though he is coming off of two losses, “The Street Fighter” has shown that he can deliver a quick knockout to an unsuspecting opponent. He is a well-rounded fighter that managed to fight in two title bouts for the MMA Gods organization, though neither attempt was successful. Under his new management, he has had a few rocky fights, but there are high hopes for this match.

Facing off against him is HFC veteran Westernfield (and former HFC champion, though only for a little while), who though he has lost 3 matches consecutively to Bruce Tripplett, is a dominant force on the ground. Many of his last matches, including his losses, have all ended in Round 1 so we can expect this fight to be quick, and not drawn out.

Will Tauer be able to crush his debut into this prestigious fighting organization, or will “Pee on U” grind him into the ground?

Tauer is managed by Aleksey Igorievich and is sponsored by Russian Bears Nutrition. Westernfield is managed by Vlad Poonteng.

Prediction: Tauer - TKO

Main Event

Light Heavyweight Title Bout: Pena Pulkkinen (#3/659)(6-0-0)(6-0-0 HFC) vs. Alexander “The Storm” Shlemenko (#1/464)(11-4-0)(1-0-0 HFC)

An interesting title match here, with the champion actually being ranked less highly in the organization than the challenger. As mentioned earlier, Pulkkinen has managed to defend the belt 2 times but this will likely his most difficult, if not final, title defense.

Pulkkinen is a terrifying force on his feet, taking the title from trash-talking, but definitely competent, champion Ja Wuan Robinson in one round with a devastating punch. Only Solomon Kahn has been able to dance with the champion for more than one round, and even he was laid low by a terrific Superman punch. There’s very little doubt that he will try to keep the fight on his feet, expect a slugfest!

Shlemenko entered the HFC by storm, defeating the aforementioned title contender Solomon Kahn in less than 30 seconds by violently slamming his against the matt. Though he had a difficult stretch in the PFC, he more than made up for it with that KO victory. It’s likely that he’ll try to take Pulkkinen to the ground, in which case it is a clear victory for “The Storm.”

Two amazing fighters that specialize in finishing off their opponents quickly come into the ring today – will Pulkinnen knock out Shlemenko with one of his devastating punches, or will he be the one having to be saved by the ref?

Pulkkinen is managed by Jorma Oltusu and is sponsored by Perkele!. Shlemenko is managed by Alex Mcushin and is sponsored by Kaiser Nutrition and KnockOut!

Prediction: Shlemenko - TKO

Kyrie Perry:

I hate to leave the 185 pd weightclass but as EVERYONE can see, management is protecting the champ so it's no point in even staying at that weightclass. Look who his new opponent is for crying out loud! Joe is 1-2 in his last three fights and he gets the next shot!? Those 2 loses come from Frank Martin who skills are ass!!!! And didn't the champ JUST KO Frank Martin in the second round!? If y'all at middleweight can't see how the boss has been protecting the champ(who is a fighter he manage by the way) for a while, y'all must be blind or stupid. Shit, Anton Obuhov should be the one mad. He is on a 3 fight winning streak and is in Champion form right now but YET AGAIN he gets looked over.

FUCK THE CHAMP AND FUCK MANAGEMENT FOR ALLOWING THIS BULLSHIT CARRY ON FOR SO LONG!!! I DON'T CARE IF I RUBBED Y'ALL THE WRONG WAY OR HURT Y'ALL FEELINGS, I AM NOT HERE TO MAKE FRIENDS! EITHER THIS BULLSHIT STOPS OR MANAGEMENT CAN CUT ME ASAP!!!!

Yes, I understand your opinion, sir. This guy was one of the tops in free devizione, Klimov wants to spend the last fight and leave the organization. With regard to the Obuhov we had one of the Alliance, and I do not want to fight against the men of their alliance. But in any case, thanks for your opinion, I'll take it into consideration.

HFC 50: Yamamoto vs. Capuchin

July 30th, 2016

For the 50th HFC event, we’ve got a monstrous featherweight bout that fans of the weight class have been requesting for weeks! The undefeated champion, Kotetsu Yamamoto faces off against the main event winner of HFC 47, Marcel Capuchin!

In the Kazan Sambo Center, once again, will 7,708 fans witness Yamamoto go down to the devastating fighter Capuchin? Or will the featherweight champ surge to another impressive victory?

Undercard Bouts

Super Heavyweight: Sami “The Vatman” Vatanen (#9/4471) (4-2-0)(HFC Debut) vs. Robert “The Raging Bull” Baratheon (#13/3959) (2-5-0)(HFC Debut)

Prediction: Vatanen - TKO

Heavyweight: “The Hunter” Terryn Dall (#11/3541) (6-1-0)(HFC Debut) vs. “The Barbeque King” Billy Bob Holley (#13/4473)(5-6-0)(1-0-0 HFC)

Prediction: Dall - TKO

Featherweight: Mike Lowe (#9/1755)(6-0-0)(3-0-0 HFC) vs. Paddy Brown (#15/3003)(4-1-0)(3-1-0 HFC)

Prediction: Lowe - TKO

Middleweight: Caliman “Soldier” Matos (#11/4432)(8-4-0)(HFC Debut) vs. Gus “Psych” Spencer (#17/5251)(9-5-0)(0-1-0 HFC)

Prediction: Matos - Submission

Middleweight: Anton “Punk” Obuhov (#5/1196)(6-4-0)(2-0-0 HFC) vs. Maui “Tokes-A-Lot-Of” Wowie (#15/3725)(7-2-0)(HFC Debut)

Prediction: Obuhov - Submission

Main Card

Light Heavyweight Bout: Solomon “Bar” Kahn (#10/2607)(5-2-0)(1-2-0 HFC) vs. Devon “Bam Bam” Bailey (#5/2196)(9-2-0)(HFC Debut)

A new face in the HFC, Devon Bailey takes on the fearsome Solomon Kahn tonight. Kahn is noted as being one of the first fighters to challenge champion Pena Pulkinen for the belt, as well as fighting chief contender Alexander Shlemenko. He’s got a wealth of experience fighting seasoned fighters, but Bailey is no slough in that department either. The former champion of KOTB defended his title 3 times against fearsome contenders like #4 seed Third Round Romero.

Will Kahn show the newbie how things work in the HFC, or will “Bam Bam” start his climb towards the belt?

Prediction: Bailey – TKO

Heavyweight Bout: Zeus Zorrander (#4/1999)(8-2-0)(3-2-0 HFC) vs. “The Golden Child” Kyrie Perry (#7/1026)(8-2-0)(1-0-0 HFC)

Two former champions contending here, Zorrander having inherited the HFC belt from Larry Mayflower for 3 successful defences before losing it to current champion Mad Max. Perry was the former champion of KOTB, though he lost that belt during his first defence. Perry has made his aspirations known to fight champion Voya Klimov when he was middleweight, but since that never came to pass he has set his eyes on Mad Max.

Will “The Golden Child” achieve his desired title match, or will Zorrander send his hopes crashing back down to Earth?

Prediction: Zorrander - TKO

Light Heavyweight Bout: Third Round “YOLO” Romero (#4/1662)(12-3-0)(0-1-0 HFC) vs. Shoei “Shark” Braz (#6/3016)(12-6-0)(HFC Debut)

Two veteran fighters facing off in this main card event, Romero’s only HFC match to date has been his 1st round loss to current champion Pena Pulkkinen. He has taken the belt several times when he was a fighter in the KOTB organization. Braz is no slouch when it comes to high profile matches, he’s been champion of the KO organization.

Will Romero build up momentum to once again face Pulkkinen, or will Braz take the glory on the day of his HFC debut?

Prediction: Romero - TKO

Co-Main Event

Welterweight Bout: “The Farmer” Isaac Curtis (#1/981)(9-0-0)(1-0-0 HFC) vs. Todd “The Metal God” Cannon (#7/2396)(8-4-0)(8-4-0 HFC)

A very interesting matchup here, with top ranked welterweight fighter Isaac Curtis facing off against the long-time HFC veteran Todd Cannon.

Curtis has been unstoppable in the arena, with 8 (T)KO wins and only one decision. The former champion of Red Star Fighting, he’s moved on to face several fierce fighters with a win coming out every time. Brian Jensen, currently ranked higher than Cannon, was on the ground in less than 2 minutes.

Todd is definitely an underdog for this match, but he’s shown a lot of promise in his previous fights. His BJJ is definitely devastating, and if he manages to get Curtis on the ground it might lead to a total upset.

Will Curtis get a win, and then perhaps a shot at the undefeated welterweight champion Vinny Bronson? Or will Cannon show him just how crafty an HFC veteran can be?

Curtis is managed by Rei Rei, and sponsored by Lion Fightwear. Cannon is managed by Kurtis Huggs, and sponsored by Voodoo Nutrition

Prediction: Curtis – TKO

Main Event

Featherweight Title Bout: Kotetsu “The Sun” Yamamoto (#4/489)(8-2-0)(3-0-0 HFC) vs. Marcel “Bloodletter” Capuchin (#2/1100)(10-2-0)(1-0-0 HFC)

The featherweight title, perhaps the most contested in the entirety of the HFC, is on the line for the first time since Yamamoto beat Rollo Gracie by unanimous decision. Capuchin is coming off a big victory from his fight against Balbus Michael, and it’s likely he’s going to try to use the hype to snatch the title from “The Sun.”

Yamamoto is a very well-rounded fighter, though he does prefer to take the fight to the ground where he can let loose with a devastating barrage of punches and force referee stoppage. Barring that, he simply outscores his opponents and takes advantage of a decision. He has been a champion in two different organizations, the first being against Terrence Funk in Stomp-A-Thon, the second being against Bruce Tripplet.

Capuchin, likewise, is a very well-rounded fighter but he excels at taking the fight into the clinch and letting loose on the opponent. Similar to Yamamoto, though, he doesn’t mind simply outscoring his opponent and getting the decision victory.

Unlike Yamamoto, Capuchin has never been a champion before. Will that change tonight, with “Bloodletter” getting the 145lb belt, or will “The Sun” continue his undefeated streak?

Yamamoto is managed by Ken Takahashi, and sponsored by Russian Bears Nutrition. Capuchin is managed by Blake Phoenix, and sponsored by both Russian Bears Nutrition and Voodoo Nutrition.

Prediction: Yamamoto - Submission

HFC 51: Abdurahimov vs. Mahones

August 6th, 2016

For the 51st HFC event, #1 seed in the heavyweight class, Stones Mahones, faces off against fierce opponent Shamil Aburahimov, who is coming off a victory against seasoned Done Carvalho.

Will Mahones manage to cinch a clutch victory that allows him to challenge undefeated champion Mad Max? Or will Aburahimov continue to climb the ranks?

Undercard Bouts

Welterweight: Bobby McBarz (#16/6070) (5-5-0)(1-3-0 HFC) vs. Taylor “The Punisher” Powell (#19/5859) (2-0-0)(1-0-0 HFC)

Prediction: Powell - TKO

Heavyweight: Sinya Sisyaskez (#21/8975) (6-7-0)(6-6-0) vs. Frank “Little Frankie” Shewmaker (#16/5523)(4-4-0)(4-4-0 HFC)

Prediction: Shewmaker - Decision

Heavyweight: Raul Lorenzo (#15/5038)(9-7-0)(4-6-0 HFC) vs. Mush Mouth (#17/4535)(3-1-0)(HFC Debut)

Prediction: Mouth - TKO

Featherweight: “Amazing” Augusto Azevedo (#17/4902)(6-4-1)(HFC Debut) vs. Luis “Angry Ram” Gonalez(#19/5405)(7-3-0)(2-2-0 HFC)

Prediction: Gonalez - Decision

Super Heavyweight: Donald Trump (#8/4948)(8-7-0)(4-7-0 HFC) vs. Abioye “The Last Pharaoh” Nazari (#5/2357)(6-4-0)(3-4-0 HFC)

Prediction: Nazari - TKO

Main Card

Middleweight Bout: Tyrone Spong (#10/2661)(6-1-1)(4-1-1 HFC) vs. Kostya “KO” Tsuyu (#14/2741)(5-1-1)(5-0-1 HFC)

After a draw in their last match, Spong and Tsuyu rematch 6 HFCs later to truly determine who is the better fighter. Spong is the more seasoned fighter, with his only loss in the HFC to middleweight champion Voya Klimov. However, Tsuyu only has one less fight in the HFC than Spong, with his only loss ever being his first match in the QFC.

Who will win this middleweight bout and break the draw?

Prediction: Spong - TKO

Welterweight Bout: Brian “Kaptajn Large” Jensen (#3/2499)(9-4-0)(7-4-0 HFC) vs. Dobber Snodgrass (#5/1560)(7-3-0)(0-1-0 HFC)

Seasoned HFC fighter Brian “Kaptajn Large” Jensen fights another veteran, albeit one with only one match in the HFC. Snodgrass has a devastating advantage on his feet, where Jensen has the same advantage on the ground?

This fight will be over quick, will it be with Snodgrass on his feet or a quick submission from Jensen on the ground?

Prediction: Snodgrass – TKO

Featherweight Bout: Fenton Hilton (#8/2674)(7-1-0)(1-0-0 HFC) vs. Shelby “Big” Foote (#13/2774)(3-0-0)(2-0-0 HFC)

Two relatively recently additions to the HFC roster face off here, and what a bout it will be. Hilton and Foote are both coming off of win streaks here, so the morale is likely to be high for both sides. Foote generally holds the advantage in all areas, but will the veteran Hilton use his crowd support and cunning to come up with the win?

Prediction: Foote - TKO

Co-Main Event

Featherweight Bout: Rollo Gracie (#2/1317)(8-1-1)(0-1-1 HFC) vs. Bruce “The Crippler” Tripplet(#5/1561)(8-4-0)(5-2-1 HFC)

A rematch that will rock the stadium, Rollo Gracie and Bruce Tripplet are going to try and resolve who is the better fighter. The last bout ended with a draw, meaning that both fighters are going to be more eager than ever to win this one.

Rollo Gracie is the 2nd highest ranked fighter in the HFC, above even champion Kotetsu Yamamoto, the only man to have ever beaten him. Even then, that was only by decision. The former champion of Immortals and TWGC, Gracie is an extremely skilled BJJ fighter who has won most of his fights via submission.

On the other hand, Bruce Tripplet is the original champion of the HFC, having successfully defended his title 5 times. He’s a remarkably skilled boxer in comparision to Gracie, and if the fight stays on the feet he is undoubtedly going to be the victor of this fight.

BJJ or Boxing? Gracie or Tripplet? Tune into the co-main event and see how it goes down!

Gracie is managed by Arcamilon the Coach and sponsored by both Highland Clothing and M.O Fight Wear. Tripplet is managed by Ray Shifflet and sponsored by both Russian Bears Nutrition and Anarchy Clothing and Laundry.

Prediction: Gracie - Submission

Main Event

Heavyweight Bout: Shamil “Puncher” Abdurahimov (#7/2225)(10-5-1)(1-0-0 HFC) vs. “BOOMSTICK!” Stones Mahones (#1/698)(12-1-0)(1-0-0 HFC)

The #1 seed in the heavyweight division, even above undefeated champion Mad Max, Stone Mahones means business. Facing off against him tonight is Shamil Aburahimov, who won a huge comeback KO against favorite Done Carvalho. Two exceptional fighters on their feet, it looks like we’ll be having a slugfest tonight!

Aburahimov debuted in the HFC in HFC 47, and surprised the crowd by turning a seemingly dominating performance by Done Carvalho into an upset. He’s primarily won by TKO, but he’s not afraid to get on the ground and grapple it out if it comes down to it. He’s got the distinct advantage against Mahones on the ground, and it’s likely he’ll try to get the most out of it.

Mahones is an explosive KO fighter, and it’s likely he’ll try to end the fight early in Round 1 against “Puncher.” The former champion of VCL, he’s a seasoned fighter that knows how to exploit his opponent’s weaknesses in order to land the perfect punch. Key for him in this fight is to keep the fight on his feet, or better yet into the clinch.

Will Aburahimov shock the crowd with an upset against Mahones? Or will “Boomstick!” do what he does best and sprawl “Puncher” out on the floor?

Aburahimov is managed by Alex Mcushin and sponsored by both Voodoo! Nutrition as well as Spartan Nutrition 160Q. Mahones is managed by Redskin Wigglebottom.

Prediction: Mahones – TKO

August 13th, 2016

For the 52nd HFC event, #1 seed in the featherweight class, Prathamesh Randhawa faces off against #5 seed Max Tauer.

Will Randhawa manage to cinch a clutch victory that allows him to challenge champion Kotetsu Yamamoto? Or will Tauer continue to improve his seed?

Undercard Bouts

Heavyweight: Butch Larson (#11/3892) (10-10-0)(4-5-0 HFC) vs. Mariusz “Pudzian” Pudzianowski (#13/3340) (4-0-0)(HFC Debut)

Prediction: Pudzianowski - TKO

Light Heavyweight: Stefan “Artisto” Michalak (#21/6293) (2-1-0)(HFC Debut) vs. Bon Odori (#17/4461)(5-0-0)(HFC Debut)

Prediction: Odori - TKO

Super Heavyweight: Stefan “Junior” Groenveld (#11/4438)(4-2-0)(4-2-0 HFC) vs. Victor “The Border Guard” Orban (#10/3024)(4-3-0)(4-2-0 HFC)

Prediction: Orban – TKO

Welterweight: Dragomir “The Vampire” Turgulan (#12/6457)(7-5-0)(3-5-0 HFC) vs. Oliver “Dragon” Ruiz (#19/10772)(3-6-0)(3-5-0 HFC)

Prediction: Turgulan - TKO

Welterweight: Lenan Kvirkvelia (#7/2668)(4-1-0)(4-1-0 HFC) vs. Turbo Epicity (#8/3662)(5-1-0)(HFC Debut)

Prediction: Kvirkvelia - Submission

Main Card

Middleweight Bout: James Cook (#19/3276)(8-4-0)(HFC Debut) vs. Aloysius Wiremu (#11/2737)(7-5-0)(1-2-0 HFC)

James Cook debuts in the HFC against fighter Aloysius Wiremu. Both fighters are on a losing streak, and it appears Wiremu prefers his feet whereas Cook prefers the ground. Which one of these fighters will have a “W” as the result of this fight?

Prediction: Wiremu – TKO

Featherweight Bout: “The Martian” Kid Cudi (#12/4146)(6-3-0)(3-2-0 HFC) vs. Shane “The Ranger” Gooseman (#15/4242)(6-4-0)(4-2-0 HFC)

Both fighters here are coming off of losses and looking for a big win in the Main Card of HFC 52. It appears that Cudi has a big advantage on his feet, though he has won most of his matches by submission. Will Gooseman be able to surprise the crowd with a turnaround victory, or will he be tapping out to Cudi?

Prediction: Cudi - Submission

Middleweight Bout: Frank “The Transporter” Martin (#9/1617)(7-1-1)(2-1-0 HFC) vs. Starling Silva (#13/2858)(6-2-0)(1-1-0 HFC)

Martin failed to clutch the title in his last match, will he manage to outfight Starling Silva? Silva won his last match by an explosive KO, and it appears that he has Martin outmatched in most, if not all, skills. Will Silva manage to topple the belt contender, or is he simply out of his league?

Prediction: Silva - TKO

Co-Main Event

Welterweight Bout: Rafal “Chappie” Zamana (#13/6909)(5-5-0)(2-4-0 HFC) vs. Todd “The Metal God” Cannon(#6/2908)(8-5-0)(8-5-0 HFC)

A surprising choice for the co-main event, these two veteran fighters are both coming off of almost embarrassing first round losses to Dyachkov and Curtis, respectively

Zamana has not won the majority of his matches in the HFC, but he is a decent grappler. 4 out of his 5 wins are submissions.

Cannon is the clear favorite for this fight, the veteran hailing all the way back from HFC 3. He’s got a huge all-around advantage on Zamana, and it won’t be surprising if he manages to win in Round 1.

Will Zamana shock the crowd and manage to pull a victory out of this? Or will Cannon start a winning streak once again after being laid low by Curtis?

Zamana is managed by Rafal Chojnos. Cannon is managed by Kurtis Hugs, and is sponsored by Voodoo Nutrition.

Prediction: Cannon - Submission

Main Event

Featherweight Bout: “The Enlightened One” Prathamesh Randhawa (#1/737)(15-2-0)(HFC Debut) vs. Max “Street Fighter” Tauer (#5/2643)(8-4-0)(1-0-0 HFC)

The #1 seed in the featherweight division, the much hyped Randhawa, takes to the arena tonight against formidable fighter Tauer. Randhawa is thought by many to be the next featherweight champion of the HFC, and a match with Kotetsu Yamamoto might be in the works.

This is Randhawa’s debut in the HFC, but after 17 fights (not including his prowess in the TWGC), he is a seasoned veteran of MMA. He has the been the champion of several organizations, with his devastating grappling being his strongest skill and his opponent’s demise.

Tauer is by far not the favorite in this fight, but he has shown that he can deliver an explosive first round KO. Will he catch Randhawa unaware and sprawl him out on the floor?

Will “The Enlightened One” demonstrate his grappling to the HFC and challenge for the belt, or will Tauer shock the audience by toppling the #1 seed?

Randhawa is managed by Buff Minion, and is sponsored by both Urban Fighter and Voodoo Nutrition. Tauer is sponsored by Aleksey Igorievich and is sponsored by Russian Bears Nutrition.

Prediction: Randhawa - Submission

HFC 53: Klimov vs. Ranieri

August 20th, 2016

For the 53rd HFC event, champion Voya Klimov takes on contender Joe Ranieri. This will be his 4th title defense, and according to HFC owner Aleksey Markov, perhaps his final one.

Will Ranieri topple the titan right before he retires, or will the hall of famer retire with one final victory?

Undercard Bouts

Featherweight: Matty “The Angler” Minchin (#20/22120) (1-3-0)(1-3-0 HFC) vs. Yandy “The Paindeer” Rudolphson (#19/19555) (1-2-0)(HFC Debut)

Prediction: Rudolphson - TKO

Middleweight: Radoslow “Cold Dream” Tomaszewski (#22/4949) (2-1-0)(HFC Debut) vs. Shawn “Jam” Jones (#19/4375)(6-4-0)(HFC Debut)

Prediction: Tomaszewksi - TKO

Heavyweight: Joseph Mumba (#19/6735)(1-0-0)(HFC Debut) vs. Frank “Little Frankie” Shewmaker (#12/4502)(5-4-0)(5-4-0 HFC)

Prediction: Shewmaker - TKO

Light Heavyweight: Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida (#10/3093)(7-2-0)(2-0-0 HFC) vs. Thomas Peterson (#8/3534)(4-0-0)(2-0-0 HFC)

Prediction: Machida - TKO

Heavyweight: “Dirty” Randy Curran (#18/4907)(3-1-0)(1-0-0 HFC) vs. Done Carvalho (#14/3513)(4-3-0)(2-1-0 HFC)

Prediction: Curran - TKO

Main Card

Featherweight Bout: Balbus “The Bully” Michael (#8/1734)(6-4-0)(0-1-0 HFC) vs. “The Notorious” Baeddan MacAuliffe (#12/3772)(5-4-0)(1-0-0 HFC)

After an amazing fight with Marcel Capuchin, Michael is back in the HFC for his second match – this time facing off against recent HFC addition MacAuliffe. Both fighters are evenly matched, so this should turn out to be an exciting fight!

Prediction: Michael – TKO

Heavyweight Bout: Andre “Pitbull” Arlovski (#6/1509)(13-9-0)(4-1-0 HFC) vs. Larry “Bullion” Mayflower (#4/2225)(11-5-0)(10-4-0 HFC)

Two of the high ranked heavyweight fighters here, the ground expert Mayflower facing off against standup fighter Arlovski! The former heavyweight champion, will Mayflower regain some of his lost glory, or will Arlovski gain back momentum after his loss against Stones Mahones?

Prediction: Arlovski – TKO

Middleweight Bout: Gus “Psych” Spencer (#17/5883)(9-6-0)(0-2-0 HFC) vs. Maui “Tokes-A-Lot-Of” Wowie (#16/4246)(7-3-0)(0-1-0 HFC)

Both of these fighters have never won in the HFC, which means that both of them will be fighting harder than ever for that first “W” here! Both fighters are evenly matched on their feet, but in the clinch and on the ground Wowie has the clear dominance. Can Spencer turn the tides and get a victory out of this?

Prediction: Wowie - TKO

Co-Main Event

Super Heavyweight: Fionn “Celtic Legend” MacCumhaill (#6/3467)(11-4-0)(1-2-0 HFC) vs. Greg “The Mountain” Clegane (#8/2709)(7-3-0)(4-2-0 HFC)

Two sluggers take to the stage to warm up the crowd for Klimov’s final title match!

MacCumhaill is a veteran fighter, only 26 years old and already 15 fights under his belt. He’s faced off against the unstoppable William Volkov and other great fighters in his past, at one point being the champion of the Immortals fighting organization. He’s beaten Clegane by a KO punch in only twenty seconds before, so he’s probably hungry to do that again.

Clegane, however, came back from that loss with a brilliant 1st round KO victory against Donald Trump. He’s likely been refining his striking so that he can match up against the veteran MacCumhaill and give him a taste of his own medicine.

In this stand-up rematch, who will take home the “W?”

MacCumhaill is managed by Dublin Twentytwo. Clegane is managed by Edgars Grin and is sponsored by both Last Minute Power Clothing and Voodoo Nutrition.

Prediction: Clegane - TKO

Main Event

Middleweight Bout: Voya “Shoumen” Klimov (#1/541)(10-3-0)(10-3-0 HFC) vs. Joe “The Pain” Ranieri (#5/2079)(14-6-0)(1-2-0 HFC)

In Klimov’s final title match, he takes on the fearsome Joe Ranieri. Not quite the matchup many fans were hoping for, with many wanting to see Rashid Magomedov or Jonny Bones Junior facing up against the champion due to their higher seed position. Nonetheless, it’s likely that Ranieri has trained hard for this fight and is ready to give Klimov a good match.

Ranieri is the former champion of RDFC and a famed Dignity fighter who had several shots at the title. He’s tangled with some fearsome HFC contenders before, most namely Frank Martin. It doesn’t bode well for “The Pain” that the man who beat him twice got knocked out in the second round by Klimov, however.

Klimov is a veteran fighter of the HFC, hailing all the way back to HFC1. He’s obtained the belt on 3 different occasions and then lost it immediately after 2 out of the 3 times. However, this 4th time he’s managed to keep the belt for 3 successful title defences. Will the TKO king manage to keep it for a 4th?

Klimov prefers his feet and Ranieri prefers the ground…will “Shoumen” get the knockout that he’s so famed for having, or will “The Pain” shock the world and manage to get the champion to tap out?

Klimov is managed by Aleksey Markov and is sponsored by Unity Clothing and Russian Bears Nutrition. Ranieri is managed by Saul Gonzalez and sponsored by Spartan Nutrition 160Q with Proof.

Prediction: Klimov - TKO

HFC 62:Bambele vs Bones.J preview

Dobber Snodgrass(Champion) (10-3, 3-1 HFC) vs. Turbo Epicity(4th) (7-1, 2-0 HFC)

Snodgrass is champion with 1 title defence. He mainly relies on his striking, Turbo is more well-rounded. Main statistics show big advantage for a challenger who is much better everywhere except boxing which is on the same level of 13. Both come to this fight on 3 fight winning streak. Interesting tactical matchup. Snodgrass likes to clinch, but will he try with much better rated wrestler in Epicity? Or challenger is going to exploit his wrestling advantage to finish a fight on the ground? Snodgrass strength may be his weight advantage as Turbo is nearly 20lbs lighter what can help a champion in effective clinch fighting.

Bragi Ragnarsson(3rd) (11-2, 0-1 HFC) vs. Abioye Nazari(8th) (7-5, 4-5 HFC)

Egyptian is real superheavyweight and Iceland's Ragnarsson is only a little bit lighter. Following his dissapointing debut "Drago" would be thirsty for revenge. He looks like a strong favourite looking at ratings and previous achievements, but Nazari can surprise him and most important it's superheavyweight class where everyone can finish a fight with one move, whether standing or on the ground. One thing is sure there - it would be very surprising if they pass 1st round, decision won't happen as in total of 25 previous fights they competed in.

Caliman Matos(11th) (9-5, 1-1 HFC) vs. Aloysius Wiremu(14th) (8-6, 2-3 HFC)

Classic confrontation grappler vs. striker. Matos is bigger guy of these 2 and he posses significant advantage on the ground. Wiremu is all about striking and he is capable of finishing that fight standing. He needs to avoid getting controlled and eventually submitted by the Brazilian who will pursue more of a takedown game as he needs to avoid that KO power Wiremu threaten him with.

Suriname Bambele(2nd) (8-1) vs. Jonny Bones Junior(7th) (9-6, 0-1 HFC)

Bambele makes his debut and he is already 2nd in middleweight ranks. Top level muay thai artist is going to hurt Bones Junior in the clinch. American must keep the fight in the distance, try to KO his opponent. Bambele is all the favourite here with an advantage also when it comes to the grappling phase which is unlikely to happen there.

Fenton Hilton(7th) (8-2, 2-1 HFC) vs. Mike Lowe(11th) (7-1, 4-1 HFC)

Hilton is higher ranked, but it isn't friendly matchup for him. He has way better grappling than striking ratings, but his last fights he was winning the stand-up phase or working effictively in clinch, but gave up takedowns and wasn't efficient on the ground. Lowe returns after his 1st career defeat to former title challenger in HFC Marcel Capuchin. But 19 year-old has much better striking ratings than his opponent what must cause troubles for clinch fighting of Hilton and British fighter won't go to the ground easily as well. Very interesting matchup to see.

Leonid Dyachkov(13th) (3-2, 2-1 HFC) vs. Conor McGregor (4-4)

Dyachkov looks like the better of the 2, but he is less experienced fighting. Primarily a striker, he can be competitive on the ground as well. McGregor mixes his game more, but he is getting finished in the 1st round to often to be sure he can resist here while trading strikes. He needs something special in that fight.

Thomas Peterson(14th) (4-1, 2-1 HFC) vs. Stefan Michalak (2-2, 0-1 HFC)

Peterson is more well-rounded, Michalak about his KO power. Both guys are still in a development, so that fight is very much open and hard to predict. That makes it very interesting as warmup for the fans watining for Hardcore Fighting Championship stars.

Piet Kriel(15th) (10-8, 7-7 HFC) vs. Radosław Tomaszewski (3-1, 1-0 HFC)

Kriel is one of the most experienced fighters on the roster. He is going to fight for 15th time in the promotion. Tomaszewski does it for 2nd time only. Polish fighter won his debut by crushing KO. He is way better striker of the 2 with Kriel slightly better grappler. Tomaszewski should avoid that counter takedowns and brutalize his opponent who is way off shape and would have hard weight cutting to do at current level of energy.

Randy Curran(14th) (4-2, 2-1 HFC) vs. Frank Shewmacker (5-5, 5-5 HFC)

While Shewmacker is more experienced inside promotion, he just won 2 out of last 6 keeping him out of top 15 inside heavyweight ranks. Curran is superior striker of the 2 and remains a prospect despite surrending close decision to Holley last time. He should take it by KO in order to improve his rankings. Shewmacker must win to keep his position any serious as he is down to the very bottom of promotional ranks.

Ken Tanaka (1-2, 1-2 HFC) vs. Ray Stuckey (1-0)

Tanaka is pretty well-rounded guy with highly rated skills for his age, but beginning of his career was dissapointing one. Stuckey makes his debut for promotion. Tanaka much bigger, Stuckey is actually a heavyweight, but has even more impressive ratings for his age. Great fight for an opener to warm fans up with some slugfest by the heaviest of competitors!

Preview for HFC Fight Night 1

Hardcore Fighting Championship is presenting it's all new format when HFC Fight Night 1 will be going down at the Docks in St.Peterburg on the seventh of July. Purists and nostalgics alike will be very pleased, for Fight Nights will take place in a good old ring. The tried and true confinement of sanctioned battery worldwide will finally allow us to see ring girls, who are forced to bend at the waist, while getting off the apron. It will provide a chance that fighters fall out of the ring, adding drama. And hopefully it will be a lesson to these evil, evil grinders, when they miscalculate, dive headfirst out of the ring and knock them selves silly on the absolutely not one bit padded concrete floor.

Ahhhhh ……. rings! But enough of that. For this ring will be baptized in blood. The blood of whom? Let's check it out!

The Main event will see Julian "The Living Weapon" Gniewek (8-2; 2-0 IN HFC) go toe to toe with Scott "The Knife" Keene (18-7; 4-2 in HFC). This featherweight bout has all the makings of a brutal war. The legitimately scary looking Gniewek is a formidable stretcher of people, specializing in submissions and has secured seven of his eight victories in that fashion. He has won both of his fights in HFC by first round stoppage and therefore quickly earned his place in this special main event of Fight Night 1. His opponent however will not be intimidated by his undoubtedly KiSS inspired looks. If anything, Scott Keene will be eager to knock the white makeup of Gniewek through the back of his head! “The Knife“ is one of the most dangerous knockout artists in the HFC featherweight division with 16 of his 18 wins coming by way of knockout. It's “The Living Weapon“ vs. “The Knife“ …. what an excellent headline this would have been for the event. A missed opportunity ….. GOD DAMMIT!

The co-main event will see intense journeyman warfare. Let's all admit it: We love journeymen! They entertain us with destroying their canned opponents and with being destroyed in ironically equal fashion, as soon as they accidentally walk with someone credible into the ring. They are the true entertainers of the sport and the single most important human resource for crooked promoters. Let's stand up now for our beloved journeymen ….. the backbone of any prize fighting on the planet! ………………. Oh yeah, the fight.

Emre Hussain (11-5; 6-5 in HFC) vs. Brian "Kaptajn Large" Jensen (13-11; 11-11 in HFC) will provide us with solid journeyman swinging at welterweight in this co-main event of the evening. Hussain is a quick and durable striker, who routinely gets the better out of striking exchanges against most of his opponents. In fact, he has yet to be knocked out. Something that is unlikely to happen against Jensen, though. Jensen has been with the HFC forever, spending all but his very first two career fights with the organization. In this time he has proven himself to be a capable submission fighter with an over 92% submission ratio to show for it. However, a somewhat suspect jaw and fits of general sloppiness have kept him at bay from reaching the top of the organization. His frequent appearances however (this will be his 23rd HFC fight) have made him one of the most recognizable face for fans of the HFC.

Also on the card

At featherweight there will be a rematch between Wade Garrett (3-2; 2-1 in HFC) and Derek "The Bomber" Harris (14-10; 3-2 in HFC). Wade garret so far has either won or lost by knockout. And apparently he thinks that getting knocked out was great fun against the Bomber. Or he has something to prove. The Bomber is far more experienced in spite of being three years younger than Garret. I would be surprised if this goes down any different than the first fight.

HFC lightweight fighter Sni Probong (7-6; 2-2 in HFC) will welcome Nick "The Saint" Johnson (11-6; HFC debut) to the HFC ring. Johnson is making his debut and was a two time title contender in smaller orgs. Now he wants to test his mettle in HFC. Both guys are strikers, with Probong being a Muay Thai stylist whereas Johnson is more of a kick boxer. This is an extremely competitive match, where none of the two has any obvious edge about his opponent.

At welterweight we will see another HFC debut. MMA veteran "The Boston Badass" Billy O' Brien (19-5; HFC debut) is going for possibly one last run for the gold in HFC. His opponent will be Kelvin "Shuai Ge" Bang (9-6; 1-3 in HFC). Bang is eleven years younger. A fact, that he better makes count, for his HFC stint could be in jeopardy, given his weak record with the promotion. This might be easier said than done, though. For O' Brien has never been put away. Neither by submission nor by knockout. He hasn't fought at a level higher than QFC in a while, though. So in addition to being way older, there could also be serious ring-rust problems. However, should the old man be game, then Bang is likely to be in trouble.
