OUTSIDE THE CAGE

This is Outside the cage, a monthly update that will bring you news and events that are taking place here at OMEGA FIGHTING. Will give you the latest information on new fighters signed by Omega and keep you up to date on the rumors inside the company.

First we would like to welcome some new talent to Omega.

Natural Born Killer. With a record of 7-2 Killer brings his Muay Thai skills to Omega. Prior to joining Omega he was signed to Pride Fighting in Tokyo. Also a former Champion at the 135 lb class, the killer will put his skills up against some fine competition here in Omega.

Next is Chris Kyle, Record of 6-2 Chris has a great stand up game, a gifted striker who at the drop of a hat turn the lights out on his opponents. Spending most of his early career in ROV he proved himself a good fighter though coming up a bit short on his first title fight there is no doubt he will be a champion one day.

Tie Domi. A record of 8-4 Tie has been managed by several camps now under the guidance of Chuck Diesal good this be the break out year for Tie. With an Exceptional boxing background and KO power behind him we here at Omega are going to keep a close eye on his future.

In other news it seems that “The Emperor” Ashan Hamed has his eyes on moving up in weight and taking on the Lightweight Champion and Undefeated Morrison Lee. Hamed regained his crown at night of Champions after the title was vacated back in September. Mr. Lee welcomed the Challenge and even considers to return the favor and drop a few pounds later on in the year.

In contract negotiations we turn to Kevin Osterman, with one fight left before his contract expires talks are tense and mostly at a stand still. The Welterweight Champ has been quiet for several days and no one has heard from him. With an upcoming title defense against Russell “Bully” Northrop one might get the impression he is holding out for more cash, but if you ask the Bully he might just say he is scared. Lets hope Justin Ass can broker the deal and we get to see a good fight.

Finally we have the Omega Cup, Starting in November OMEGA FIGHTING starts it’s Fighting series “The Omega Cup” Fighters will be competing in a series of fights for the chance to become the Omega Cup Champion and collect $50.000 a 6 Month VIP Pass and the coveted “Omega Cup”

Well that’s Outside the cage for this month it looks like November is going to be a great month, look for us in our next issue.

Zeph Frazier : One day ...yes one day everybody will know if you are a real champ

Would you be able to standup to my big right hand... even if you loose that title I want to show everybody in the organisation who is the best boxer over here

Good Luck on November 19... You still will need some even if your facing a no name

Today we´re here with Omega welterweight Mike "The Chainsaw" Freitag fpr an exclusive interview.

Interviewer: Hi Mike, first of all...congrats for your dominating win over Abroham Lincoln. Great fight, that´s put you on a 3 fight winning streak. How you feel about that?

Mike: I´m fine. I took a week off, but now I´m pretty much focused on my next fight against Daniel Mouwanga.

Interviewer: We were surprised hearing about that upcoming fight. Everybody thought it will be you against Osterman again for the title.

Mike: Well...to be honest...me too, anyway...now it´s Mouwanga for me to chop down to get a title shot, i guess.

Interviewer: Did you know anything about the Osterman deal and why he left Omega?

Mike: No and i don´t care about at all.

Interviewer: But..you just signed a new contract, right?

Mike: Right, there will be 5 more fights under Omega with me. Quick fair deal with both sides happy. We will see what happen...

Interviewer: Now it´s Northrop against Cleary, who just signed with Omega, for the title. Your thoughts?

Mike: Man, i´m not the matchmaker. Let´s see how this one turns out...Northrop is unbeaten and i don´t see Cleary is the guy who´s gonna change that, but you never know.

Interviewer: Mouwanga is unbeaten too, what do you know about him?

Mike: Not much...young guy, well rounded with nice power in his hands. It´s on me to stop him and that´s what i´m working for.

Interviewer: Well, good luck.

Mike: Thanks!
