Guest
Hype for clothing and nutrition companies determines how they are listed on Highstreet -- the list runs from most-hyped at the top to least-hyped. Essentially, it's like advertising money, which helps your company move higher on the list and, in theory, get more people looking at your products. Patti
The wiki says this, too: When a fighter buys one of your t-shirt or shorts designs, they will receive a morale boost. The higher your company’s hype rating, the greater this morale boost will be.

I am set in the goal of becoming one of the top 3 clothing companies in New York and eventually the world. But now that I know rank holds incentive to buy, I'm a lot more comfortable that this isn't a wasted ambition.
